Where I've Been.

Sydney
The last place I visited was Sydney right after the new year. I loved the beaches in Sydney: Manly and Bondi were so nice to see. The view points of Sydney were great too specially Darling Harbour. I also liked the crazy people in Oxford Street!..

We were staying in Kingscross and I had no idea about this place's reputation. One night I could not sleep and decided to go out. It was just after midnight. I was walking down the street and a guy came up to me and asked me how much I want? I was supraised I did not know how to walk away. I said " I did not speak English" and he answered me back" YOU DON'T HAVE TO SPEAK!"..

For some reason I liked Melbourne more than Sydney. Sydney was too complicated for me and little bit crazy city too..

Adelaide
After the Ocean Road the road became nice to drive so I had a go for it. It was the first time I wanted to try to drive after the car crush I had but when I came across with a huge truck I just git scared again. Stephen tried to make me fell confortable but it did not work.

Finally we arrived at Adelaide! We started to look for a place to stay. We decided to stay in a backpacker place for 11 Dolars. I had very strong friendships from that hostel. Most of the people who stay there from Japon and we decided to make a trip around Adelaide. It is something you have to see! I liked the shopping centers, the Italian Restaurants, the nigthclubs and the people. Ones I really got drunk In the nigthclub called " Planet " and when I woke up in the morning I was in the hostel. I could not work it out how I got back but that night a nice couple visited me and they told me I was so drunk and they gave me a ride to my hostel..

I stayed in that hostel for nearly 2 months. I did not want to go some other places. I was not the only one who did not want to leave Adelaide that soon. We all stayed there for 2 months. We all got work in a apple farm 3 days a week. We were all the time together and I was nearly going to become Japonese..

The new years eve was something I will never forget. We were in a street festival in Adelaide and selling glowing necklaces! We earned some money as much as we had fun. When the time showed 12 everybody kissed me whoever around me! I will never forget my Adelaide adventures...

Gold Coast
In June 1999, I went up to Gold Coast, I had always wondered about it! An Italian friend of mine had chance to meet me there too. We shared all the expensize between us, otherwise if you are a single traveller everything becomes double price for you! I fell in love with Gold Coast. Surfers Paradise was amazing, the beach, the restaurants and the cool people...

It was so similar to where I come from accept the population. I had many Turkish friends too. When you are overseas if you meet someone from your country, you become like someone from the family for them. It is what I like about being here sometimes because I had such a good relationship with someone by this way! Before I went to Gold Coast A friend of mine gave me his friend's phone number just in case If I was bored and one night I wanted to speak my language and I called him up! his sound was very friendly. I liked his offer and I went to his place for a drink. I never belived in someting I cannot explain but there was something going on between us. He was feeling what I was about going to say and I was having the same sense!.. Our everything was so similar! We do have the same birthday too.

I love Gold Coast! Gold Coast was the place where the man of my life lives.. I extended my holiday as much as I could but You know every nice thing has to finish one day! I am not saying that the feeling I have is over but my Gold Coast adventure was over. After that I did not go to Gold Coast for holiday I went there to visit someone special!..

Melbourne
The first place I have been to in Australia was Wagga Wagga after Sydney Airport. That was the day I was nearly going to faint when I saw the airplane which brought me to Wagga. Oh my god! It was as the same as car size! The engine was making funny noises but it was not that funny for at that time. It took about 50 painful minutes. A lady came to pick me up from the language center. I could not speak English at all and I was just smiling! I kept her happy by smiling anyway! My first impesression about Wagga was positive because I was coming from very big city Wagga was like a holiday resort for me.( In Turkey, just holiday resorts can be this quite!) After a couple of mounths my holiday resort bacome a nightmare. When I was walking down the main street I could know everybody from their faces. Everyday was the spesific things happening! I decided to get away. I talked with my friends about it and we decided to have a weekend escape to Melbourne. It was 1999 in May. I liked Melborne. I liked the parks, restaurants, the night life, I liked everythig over there accept on e thing; the weather changes! It was sunny for a minute, for a minute it was raining, the other minute I was frozen! I Heart about the song "4 Seasons In One Day" It must have written for melbourne! The most unforgettable part of Melbourne was the Penguin Parade on Phillip Island. It was great, I felt myself very lucky about being there. It is not the view you can get all the time. The little penguins were so lovely! We set on the beach and wait them to come to the shore and they all came with their funny walking style. Melbourne the city gives you more possiblity to like about being in there!..

Wagga Wagga
Hi all! That is my birthday and my sound can be so emotional today! When I was 16 years old It was like a dream to be 18 but after 18 I could not stop the years! I have too much to do but I don't think time is going to help me with this!

If you asked me where I would like to be? I'd like to be in Gold Coast right now. In Surfers Paradise! But i have to stick to Wagga for a while like yous!..

Albury
Albury seems like Wagga but if Wodonga is accounted as a part of it, it is bigger than Wagga. I accually found one thing very suprising in Albury; the restaurants, pubs and cafes are nearly as good as Sydney's quality. Albury is good for shopping as well and everyting is settled well. I fell in love with Albury's holiday resort but it was to expensive for a day. I always say "SOME OTHER DAY!".. My some other day dreams:
One day I am going to see Jamaica and Hawaii!
One day I am going to be exactly an ARIES by getting rid of my stupid pisces side.(I have 2 personalities; as day time and night time. Night time I become Aries but day time a romantic pisces) I have just been worn out by living like that!.
One day I am going to eat without thinking about the calories!
One day I am not going to feel homesick at all, I am going to be at home!
One day I am going to understand my mum!
One day..
One day.. (top secret)
One day..

Canberra
It was one of the coldest days of 2000's winter but we had already arranged our trips to Canberra! It took us 3 hours to get there from Wagga. Finally I was in the capital city of Australia. If you ask any Turkish people about Australia's capital city in my country, you have the answer as "SYDNEY" I know it is shame on us but this is how it is known! Most of you think of our capital city as Istanbul too.. Istanbul is the largest city of Turkey but the capital city is Ankara(I am sure you never heard of it). Ankara became our capital because of its important location during the world wars! This is where we have our Parliament House too like Canberra!. I admired the Parliament House of yours. It was splendid but I called Canberra as "SAD CITY" for some reason. The place has so many sad historical background may be I was just effected by our guide's touching voice when he told about the stories! It is too late to change my mind, Canberra is the "SAD CITY" of Australia!.. I just found it out that; Canberra and Canakkale(A city from Turkey where the Gallipoli is located.) became sister cities! I wish we hadn't have a past like that but it is nice to see that after all, we actually declared those cities as sister cities!..
