... Now you know I love you. Really. I do. But I would honestly like to smack some serious sense into both of you right now. Stop arguing over who gets to die first, stop offering yourself up to the enemy (yes, Karen, I mean you), say screw the end of the world and get a damned hotel room before your UST destroys us all.
Thank you.
Love, your biggest fan, XOXOXO, run off to Hawaii with me,
Kerianne
(If you want to know what I'm babbling about, go here and read the second entry down. Thanks, Hokuto, for cluing me in. grrr.)

... *pokes at e-mail* Hey, my datenshi.nu email has a virus scanner, apparently. Cool. (I know this because somebody tried to send me the Sircam virus. It was you, wasn't it? Just admit it... XD)
Woohoo, new link! Argustar, fellow otherdragon fan who is going to royally kick my ass on the pro-Sorashi side of the debate... ^^;;; Why is it that Yuuto always gets the most interesting descriptions? "Walking pile of sex" *snicker* I feel your pain about button-down shirts, too. You'd think they'd figure out that some women actually have boobs when they make those things. -.-
Hehe, your "recovering Christian" thing was funny. Hurrah for blasphemy. XD Christians kind of scare me, truthfully... perhaps because subconsciously I'm afraid that they're right and I'm wrong, but the whole idea of, as you said, submitting your will to some distant force has always struck me as very off. That, and the contradictions both within the Bible itself and within the teachings of the church that I've come in contact with, have led me to declare myself a lapsed Catholic with agnostic tendencies. ^_^
You wound me. No, you really do. Right here. *taps chest over heart and looks dramatic* Am I the only one who thinks Elijah Wood isn't really all that wonderful? Yeah, he did a decent job in LOTR, but really. Still looks exactly the same as he did when he was 13, and how old is he now? *snorts* 'Course, judging from my thing for older men, tisn't surprising that he does nothing for me at all. (I do think Dan Radcliffe is just the most adorable thing on the planet, but if I get one more hit from somebody searching for him sans chemise, or porn involving him, I will not be responsible for my actions. Yes, Cori, that means knock it off already. XD) EW was in The Faculty? I love that movie, but somehow I managed to forget he was in it... o_o I guess now I vaguely remember him, he played a nerd or something, didn't he? I don't remember much about the movie 'cause I spent most of it in a Josh Hartnett-induced haze of lust. XD
Gomen ne, Beth, I fixed the problem with the second Sei scan. Somehow forgot to upload it. ~~;;; Hai, I know they're a bit small... I had it set to my usual settings for amount of shrink, but these are a lot smaller than the things I usually scan. I'll put up a bigger version of Subaru for you soon. ^^
That doesn't sound like a very good gift for a nineteen-year-old. A twelve-year-old, maybe... o_o *snicker* And yeah, maybe she will listen to you when you tell her her layouts are awesome. I know she never listens to me... but then, who does? *dramatic violins play* ... yeah, ok, done with my pity-me moment now. XD
*snugs* Poor child. Glad everything's okay with both you and your mom, though. ^_^
Sure, I'll fight with you. *evil grin* Just don't hate me, 'cause I really am devil's advocate in that case ^^;;; (can I be advocate of something I don't really believe in? hmm...)
Callin' in sick to work tomorrow, yay! *does a dance* This damned cold just won't go away, but anything that gets me out of eight and a half hours of serving the public is fiiiiine with me. ^_______^

*coughhackchokegeneralnoisesofdistress*
... by poor dose. *sniffff* (and yes, that is what I sound like right now, and yes, everyone's been picking on me mercilessly. grah, I say.)
But hey, I have X First Contact scans for y'all. Fun fun. I only scanned the people I felt like scanning at the moment, but if you wanna see somebody else, let me know and I'd be happy to scan them in for you. And no, I don't know why Fuuma got four pages while everyone else got two (and Dai-chan got one, poor baby XD). Knowing y'all, I'm sure you're happy that he did, though. :P hehehe.
Fuuma 1 2 3 4
Subaru 1 2
Seishirou 1 2
Aoki 1 2
Karen 1 2
Sorata 1 2
Arashi 1 2
Yuzu 1 2
Daisuke
Hinoto 1 2
Yeah, I know, definitive DoH bias. Truthfully, I just didn't feel like screwing around with the scanner anymore tonight. XP hehe, later I'll prolly do Yuuto and a few others and anyone that y'all wanna see. so let me know. Oh, and that first Seishirou pic up there? SCARES ME. o_o I could have nightmares about that expression. Dunno why, but it's very unnerving. o.o
Anou, Kimmie, glad you made it through. Sounds like they had you on some interesting drugs, hehe. 'Course, I remember the way the anesthesia for my surgery knocked me on my ass... I slept for the entire day afterward, didn't even make it up the stairs o_o Anesthesia is mean. *nod nod*
Hope your move goes well, Ammie! ^_^ There wasn't a lurid description of Daisuke's body? Huh, thought there was. And aren't there a few Dai/Arashi lemons floating around out there? Swear I saw some... *pouts* He gets more than much of the cast does, you should feel priveleged. XD Hinoto, 95? She might beeee~eee! *snerk* And I am working on the shrine, it should be up next week sometime. *^_^*
*giggles* You are so cute XD I think it'd have to be the other way around, though, because after all, Codi is the uke. *snickersnicker*
Blaaaah, feel sick. Gonna go now. o_o
watching the fish swim by on Thursday, February 21, 2002 at 06:54 p.m.
God dammit, Ammie, you gave me your freakin' cold. (Ignore the fact that she's practically on the other side of the world from me, it's still her fault. :P hehehehe) *groan* I feel like crap, so this'll be on the short side, but several people have poked me to blog, so I will. :P
Changed Hokuto's link, 'cause she's got a blog on Pitas now. Fun fun. The layout sucks, though. ^^;;; *runs* hehe
Weeee, you used Lifehouse lyrics in your layout! I love them. ^^;;;
No problem! ^___^ You're going to write A/K? YAY! ... um, yeah. Let me know when you do, I'd love to read it. ^_____^
*huggles* I know you don't want concern or comforting or nothin', but I wuv you, remember that. ^_^ Love the layout. Lulu is so cool, I find her infinitely more interesting than that wet dishrag Yuna. 'Course, I probably haven't seen enough of any of the characters to pass judgment, but something about Yuna just bugs me. Too... quiet. XP hehe
Haha, so exactly how did that test know that you were a cradle-robbin' shotakon hentai, hmm? XD ... pervy hobbit-fancier. ^_^

So you like the pretty boys. And if there's any boy prettier than the rest, it's Legolas. Sure, he may also be a little girlier than the rest, but that's what you want, right? Smooth, beautiful love-making the way only a woman could do it. Or a really faggy elf.
.... shut up, test. *pouts* If I were straighter than I am, I'd be offended. XD
Hehe, I've read that Dai/Hinoto dreamscape smut before. Squicked me, but being that SF wrote it, it was still good. I wonder if she'd be too afraid if I told her I worshiped the very ground she walks on and offered to give her my first AND second-born children? *snicker* Yes, I am hard at work on the Aoki shrine... I believe I'm going to call it Heavenly Wind (yeah, real original, I know... bite me XD). ... of course, anything you say, Ammie-sama :D hehehe
Sleepy. If there was anything else I needed to say, gomen ne, I'll get to it later. @_@
watching the fish swim by on Monday, February 18, 2002 at 08:19 p.m.
Bleh, work. I really hate closing, especially when the only other employee around is the really annoying woman who talks my ear off about her stupid daughter's love life (I know her daughter and I dun like her either XD).
You make some very good points... I'm particularly interested in what you said about homosexuality and heterosexuality not existing in CLAMP's world. It's all about destiny, who you're meant to end up with, and gender doesn't seem to factor into that at all. I like that aspect of their work, because it's cool to see gay characters who don't make a huge deal out of being gay-- it's just accepted. I wish the real world was like that.
Waaaii! A new person to torment-- um, I mean, talk to! ^_~ And a supporter of the cutest pairing ever to involve a married man and a soapland mistress, besides! XD As for A/K fic recs, you've come to the right place (of course ^^;;;). Here are my faves. The rest of you may skip this entry, unless you are willing to allow me to corrupt you, in which case, read on my friends. XD
Another X Christmas Fic by Lika - Sure, it's out of season, but it's still cute as all hell. ^^
Paper Moon by Shanti Fader - Dancing and UST. (Well, /I/ saw UST. Dunno if anyone else did. XD)
Firestorm by Shanti Fader - I worship this fic. I would have this fic's children if it was physically possible for me to do so. XD (just to warn you it's sorta lemonyish)
Come What May by Hokuto-chan - Also known quite simply as "the babyfic". It's excessively cute and sets up quite an interesting situation... ^_^
Glass Slipper by, um, me ^^;;; - ... yeah. It's an hourfic, it has no plot, it's not that good, but wheee aren't they cute together? *snicker*
An Ordinary Man by me again ><;;; - Hey, look, it's sap and pretentious inner monologues! ~~;;;
And that's about it. o_o Sad, innit? Oh well. Just gotta poke people into writing more, that's all. *evil grin*

.... *hyperventilates* I very nearly had a heart attack, kiddies. See, I went to envy.nu, and it actually let me in. Then I tried to log into my sites and it told me they no longer existed. Cue panicking, swearing, and wishing for some good hard liquor.
Then it occurred to me to look at the FAQ, and I saw this. Nothing's been deleted, it's just temporarily unavailable. *whew* Sorry, Envy. All that stuff I said about you being a worthless cocksucking whore from hell... I didn't really mean it.
'Course, this means I can't work on my Aoki shrine like I planned to. *poutpout* Oh well, the layout I had sucked anyhow. XP The reason my blog images have been broken all day is 'cause they're on Virtue. I'm moving them now, so everything should be peachy in a few minutes. ^^
watching the fish swim by on Thursday, February 14, 2002 at 05:21 p.m.

antiperfectHehe. Why am I so not surprised?
Hai, Kira, I do see what you're saying and there will be no biting going on from my corner of the web. *snicker* Truth be told, although I am a supporter of alternate pairings, the ones that have been spreading as of late don't do much for me. Other people are having fun with them, though, and ain't nothin' wrong with that. ^_^ And yes, blog fights are amusing, and probably rather immature, but sometimes I just can't resist jumping into the fray. Arguing is my very favorite sport. *grin*
Weeee, what a cute new layout! I really like it. ^____^ Feel better soon, ne?
*huggles* Sorry you're not in the greatest of moods. You're right, V-day tends to be very much a time for grumpiness, hehe. I think my friend Erin summed it up best yesterday when she said she was going to celebrate V-day by "watching lots of psycho killer slasher movies with my best friend, 'cause we both hate Valentine's Day." *snicker* I'm just glad I didn't have school today, so I don't have to put up with all the dippy couples hanging all over each other. -.-;;; Good luck on all that work you have to get done!
Awww, I'm glad Kimmie-chan is happy, hehehe. *snuggles* Glad your scholarship thingie went well.
Sorry about your grandfather. I don't believe it is wrong to not want to see him suffering. I hope everything works out okay.
watching the fish swim by on Thursday, February 14, 2002 at 09:48 a.m.
I love the way you move, don't let anyone tell you any different tonight
you are beauty, you are class
you showed it all but you still kept a little piece back just for me
a little piece back just for me
.... mouuu, this song is so going on the CD. *snicker*
Yeah, so... um... no more ranting from me, at least not tonight. I'm in a good mood. Downloading sprees are fun. ^___^ "Countdown" by Pulp is a weird song, but very addictive. o_o
I don't think I have anything to say socially at the moment, but I would also like to recommend the "Series of Unfortunate Events" books by Lemony Snicket because they are absolutely the most sarcastic children's books I have ever read. God, I wish there had been something like this when I was younger-- 'course, maybe then I wouldn't have appreciated it so much. hehehe
Yeah. That's all. I'm not in such a good mood anymore, really. *pout* Oh well, I suppose I'll get over it.
watching the fish swim by on Wednesday, February 13, 2002 at 10:14 p.m.
And on a muchmuchMUCH lighter note... waiwaiwai! *_* I fully take the blame! That was such a sweet lil ficlet. If this keeps up, I may not be able to whine about the lack of good fic anymore, between you (post the fic, woman ^_^) and you (... marry me. *snerk*), and now this... Ahh, I feel all warm and fuzzy. Thaaaanks ^____^
Ne, ne, why would you be hung on the tree of shame for saying that, Kira? o_o Was it because you admitted to liking both S/S and S/K? hehe
... Shell for pope. *puts up signs* Yes. That will be all. XD
watching the fish swim by on Tuesday, February 12, 2002 at 08:19 p.m.
I probably shouldn't respond to this, but hey, I'm pissed. I know that Kim is an incredibly well-spoken person perfectly capable of arguing her own case, so I'll allow her to do that. At the same time, there are things I must say, as a friend of hers as well as a fellow blogger and anime fan.
1. You have absolutely no right to claim that she lied about her monetary status simply because she has a domain name. If you'd bothered to find out anything about the person you mindlessly attacked, you'd know that the money for that domain is being split four ways (I would know, considering I'm one of the parties involved), and even then, it was not an impulse buy. And no one is expecting you to give up your "hard-earned" merchandise to these "poor people" you care so little about. You are perfectly free to enjoy it yourself.
2. Saying FUCK in all capital letters every three words does not make you mature, it does not make you cool, and it doesn't make your point any more valid. So please fucking cut it out, ne?
3. I love the fact that people have a lot more sympathy for a nameless, faceless corporation than they do for real people and fellow fans. As for "supporting the artist", I have no problem with that. What I have a problem with is having to pay $30 for a DVD that has two episodes on it, knowing that not even half of that money is actually going to the artist. It's overpriced, it's ridiculous, and if there's a way for me not to have to do it, I'm not going to. I guess that makes me a theiving pirate. *shrugs* And don't bring up "immorality", because that's a pile of shit. Last I checked, morals also involved kindness and generosity to those less fortunate than yourself. What this comes down to is plain and simple corporate ass-kissing. What are they paying you people to say this crap?
4. Things are not cheaper. See above. Overpricing.
5. Okay. Then you go through your vocabulary and get rid of every single phrase that might have been coined by someone besides yourself. Because it's unoriginal and annoying (not to mention it's probably immoral!). You know, if I made up a phrase, and people thought it was so cool and funny that they started using it themselves, you know what I would do? I would be FLATTERED. I would be THRILLED. I wouldn't be all fucking elitist about it and decree like some kind of royalty that I'm the only person allowed to use it. How the hell do you think any slang got started? Are you suggesting all of us should stop using slang terms and should speak the Queen's English all the time, because otherwise we're being unoriginal and annoying?
I would like to state for the record that I am sick and tired of snobs. Really. You all make me sick. And I regret that I am not mature enough to take the high road and ignore you, rather than arguing as I always do. However, I don't regret it enough to stop, because I'm hoping one of these times you'll figure out that you are no better than the rest of us. You who claim to be "original" are the worst, because it's laughable that you think you're cool and edgy and unique when all you're doing is echoing the same snobbish beliefs as all the other "original" people who are exactly like you. Yeah, you're real different. I'm impressed. I didn't think anyone could be more ignorant than the egotistical, selfish idiots who populate the hallways of my school, but you all just keep proving me wrong.
*sighs* I'm beginning to wish I had never ranted about X fansubbing at all, because that inspired Kim's scanlations rant, which then went on to get everyone's panties in one massive knot. Hmm, Kim, you should probably feel special that ever so important and popular people like this deigned to respond to what you were saying at all, hmm? Heh.
There-- my ranting pants have officially been removed. *smiles* (Me, an antagonist? Never...)
watching the fish swim by on Tuesday, February 12, 2002 at 06:15 p.m.
Hehe. Boobies. XD Guess this means I can't check your blog at school for a little while, considering I tried to, and got some very, very odd looks from my friends. They already think I'm a perv, I'm sure that didn't help. Not that they're wrong... *snerk* "Sexy man who makes no sense", hmm, I like that description of Yuuto, hehe. And as for the whole scanlations debate, I think people will forever be split on it. I'd have to say I agree with Kim, because I simply can't find it in my heart to feel sorry for the fact that a big faceless corporation is losing a few sales of its merchandise which is wildly overpriced to begin with. I can remember an article in The Onion around the time the Napster debate was going on, something about celebrities being found starving in the streets because so many people were downloading MP3s and the artists simply could not make a living anymore. This is funny because it's ridiculous, as is the claim that something like scanlations could make more than the tiniest ripple in the international sales of manga. Has there ever been a single documented case of a company being put out of business or suffering massive losses because of free alternatives to their goods? Not as far as I know. Show me the actual person who's starving on the street because I downloaded a scanlation instead of buying a manga, and I'll feel some sympathy for the cause. Until then... *shrug*
I'm gonna assume you meant "cute guy" instead of "cute gay", LOL. I think the yaoi's beginning to get to you XD
Your latest entry was really funny, just because I know people like that. Especially the conversation bit. "yes there's blow jobs too..." XD I can so see that conversation going on at my school.
Well, I suppose a Victorian marriage would be okay. (Is that what people mean when they call Subaru and Kamui a Victorian relationship? Hehe, no sex, I can deal with that. OK, OK, sorry, S/K peeps. *hides under desk* XD) And I went through a period where shrugs made me violently angry ("THEY'RE HALF A SHIRT! WHAT'S THE POINT?!?" lol), but of course it looks lovely on Karen. A paper bag would look lovely on Karen. ... No, a plastic bag, even better. ... Um, someone smack me please. *nosebleeds* XD XD And I'd just like you to know that this may have caused me to rupture several important internal organs:
He says that he is burning with a white-hot passion that even now is threatening to engulf every fibre of his being!
DAI: >_> I DID NOT!!
ME: Yes you did. And you said "give Papa some honey". :P
DAI: *bitebitebitekickkickkick*
XDDDDDDD *falls over* I love you, Ammie-san, let's get married. I'm way more fun than Hinoto-hime. I can talk. And move around. ^______^
As for the baby fic, I seem to have taken over custody of it for the time being (she's writing the original, I'm writing the AU/what-if/mirror version ^_^), and no, there will not be any mud-wrestling for Seiichirou (although that would be a good name for a band. Can you tell I've been reading Dave Barry lately? ^^;;;). However, the apocalypse must be near, because I've done the unthinkable... written Shimako as a sympathetic, kind, self-sacrificing, witty and charming person. *SCREAMS* WHAT WAS I SMOKING?!?
*cough* Anyhoo. I'll post that as soon as it's coherent... my writing style as of late has consisted of "write random scenes and piece them together later" ~~;;;
Oh, and I've noticed that many people have been posting their X Pairing Test results. I got Keiichi and Kamui, but I'm not putting up the graphic in protest of the fact that the couple I should have gotten wasn't included. *snifflesnifflesob* Yes, I'm a 'shipper geek, lemme alone. *grumble* XD
YOU! MB fic! Now! XD just kidding. But I do really really really really really ... *gasp* really wanna read it. ^________^
Umm, hyperactive now. o_o Time for me to go write! *bouncebounce*
watching the fish swim by on Monday, February 11, 2002 at 05:31 p.m.
Why is it not possible for me to get up before 11:00 on weekends? -.-
Hmm, interesting to see my own words being tossed back at me! Hehe, as anyone will tell you, I am one of the most passionate defenders of OOC and non-canon in fics, and I can't stand elitists who get all uptight about them. And my rant was not directed at you, because I did realize that yours was more one-sided; it just reminded me of other fics I'd seen in which the same thing happened, only reciprocated. Which reminded me of how annoying it is when people pretend my favorite character never existed (not that you did, it just reminded me). And, well, I was in a bad mood. XD I 'spose I should've known it'd be taken that way, but that's never stopped me before... in any case, just ignore me. XD
Grrr, what a non-answer! XD But I apparently was leaning more towards uke then seme. *poutpout* Where's all the people rushing to my defense, then? :P
I agree, although I admit I used to say "That's gay" a lot, but I never meant it in a slanderous way. I'm not so sure the people at my school don't, though. -.-;;;; You mean talking to me doesn't instantly make your evening worthwhile and wonderful? .... Yeah, I didn't think so either. XD In any case, was fun talking on the phone to you... you and Cori are not allowed to kill each other... and I still have tons of phone card time left, so let me know sometime if you get bored and I can call. ^___^
Talking to you two was fun last night, although you are cruel and mean for holding out on me *wailsnifflesob!!* and I'm still not letting you marry Gimpy. So there. :P hehehe
Ne, Anne, just thought I'd mention that on your Asuka scans page, the ninth pic doesn't work... I only say this because I'm obsessed and I have to see the whole thing XD Oh, and what is this about Miyuki-chan in Xland? I always thought that was a doujinshi o_o In any case, there's half naked Karen? ... Oh, hey, I was gonna ask you to scan it, but I just happened upon the scans on Redhead Dancing Girl. *squee* (thanks Amy! XD)
Seishirou does not have a healing cock. Well, he doesn't use it for that purpose, in any case. XD I agree, scanlations and doujinshi translations are the same way. I don't believe that offering free alternatives is going to destroy any industries. I didn't believe it in the MP3 debate and I don't believe it now. If they're going to go that far with it, why not also say that fanfiction is harmful to the industry because people will read the fics instead of buying the manga or anime, and everyone should stop writing it? -.-;;;;;
watching the fish swim by on Sunday, February 10, 2002 at 11:45 a.m.
As promised, rants. Don't worry, none of them are too controversial. ^^;;;
For one thing, my government class is full of total loser idiots. I have no idea why my friend Rhonda and I got stuck with them, but putting up with them day after day is excruciating. I only mention this because they really pissed me off on Friday. They're all in the so-called "popular group", although in classic high school clique fashion they are the most disgustingly shallow and boring people I've ever had the misfortune of spending time with, so I don't understand in the least how they gained a high social status. In any case, they were whining about the theme and song of the upcoming formal dance, how "stupid" they think it is, and how horrible it was that the people in charge didn't drop everything and change it to their liking when they complained about it one week before the dance. In the process, they brought up two of my good friends who have leadership positions in the club that's putting on the dance, and proceeded to call them the worst insult they could possibly think of... that's right, "lesbian". Which, of course, radically pissed me off, on several levels. For one thing, as far as I know, they are both straight, and spreading lies about people is never a good thing. For another, and more importantly, why is that (and "gay", and countless more vulgar variations thereof) everyone's favorite insult? It makes me sad that people think of homosexuality that way-- as if it's the worst possible quality a person could have. And in any case, I have no idea what my friends' sexual orientation has to do with the theme and song they chose for the dance, but apparently that connection makes sense in these peoples' minds. There is so much intolerance here. *sigh*
Rant number two: If I hear one more person whine about "fansubbing ethics", I will not be held accountable for my actions. I'm referring to the recent rumor that X TV has been picked up by an American distributer. I hope it's not true, because if I have to wait a year to see the ending of the series because some whiny corporate-brown-noser thinks it'd be more "ethical" to make me wait AND pay for the pleasure of waiting... People, I'm going to buy the stupid DVDs anyway when they come out, just to see what they did to the dub and to squeal over the extras. I can see the point of not selling or distributing fansubs of something that's already been released in the US, but I don't see why people can't continue to sub and distribute now, when even if it has been picked up it probably won't come out for at least a year. It's the same as my issue with Napster. I don't download MP3s because they're free, I download them because I want to hear the song, and I don't want to wait until the CD comes out or until I have a chance to buy it. Same with fansubs. I'd gladly pay full price for the X series if I had to, as long as I'd get to see it right away. It's the waiting bit that bothers me.
One final note. You know I don't place much stock in the idea of OOC-ness in fics, but there is one aspect of characterization that bothers me. I've seen it in several fics and it's just beginning to grate on my nerves. Yes, Karen is an emotionally strong woman, and not one to wallow in angst or dwell on her sorrows. But could you possibly wait until at least a few scenes after she watches the man she loves tragically die before you have her flirt with Yuuto? -.-;;;;; You may say this is just because I'm biased, but I wouldn't support this in any pairing (yes, not even A/K... although it'd be sliiiightly more forgivable XD). It's just too drastic of a mood change in too short a time. Don't be offended or take it personally if you've done this in a fic-- I'm not meaning to attack anyone, just pointing out something that bugs me in fics. It isn't necessarily wrong, but it's just my little pet peeve.
On a much less bitchy note, AHHH! THANK YOU! *huggles the scans* Goodness, they look so cute! This one is my favorite-- they look so sweet smiling at each other! ^___^ And it's so nice of you to offer the trading card! I'd love to have one... ^^;;; E-mail me, ne? *huggles*
Yay, so it wasn't just me! The tree scene at the beginning is exactly what I meant-- I was like "dammit, more Subaru angsting... wait, what does Subaru have to do with Kotori's body? Ohhh~hhh, that's Kamui..." ^^;;;;
*gives cookies* Yeah, I still gotta read the rest of the fic, don't shoot me. But the death scene was well done, even if you did kill him. *grumble grumble* hehe ^^;;; The Kakyou and Fuuma bit was nice, too.
Off to eat dinner. *wavewave*

Hot damn, I have the weekend off. *beam* I plan to spend it sitting on my ass, possibly playing some FFX and watching anime, and... uh... sitting on my ass some more, yeah. And hopefully I can call you guys, 'cause... I haven't in a long time. *nod nod*
Kira... eeehehehe, resistance is futile! ... Yeah, what I mean to say is, glad you don't want them to die anymore. XD They are too cute to be legal... *beam* And that's so weird that you posted a link to a seme/uke test, 'cause just two days ago I was talking about how there should be one. o.O;;;; Only problem is, I can't get the stupid link to work... *pokes SelectSmart* ><
Shell, sorry you're having writing troubles. I won't send any nasty e-mails... this time. (just kidding ^^;;;) I hope the chapter starts behaving soon. ^_^
His Pimpness, hmm, that sounds pretty accurate. XD Yeah, the mouse thing is rather irritating, and over-the-top beautiful isn't my thing either. I think this is going to be an anime that I'll watch for the plot rather than the characters. I don't think I could love any of the characters like I do the X characters, but the show does have an interesting storyline. And I mostly liked Arashi's reaction to the robot comment-- maybe she was thinking the same thing you were. hehehe
Dammit, I wanna take a class on children's books. *pout* And hey, I don't think I've ever seen a pic of Stan before. Not bad, not bad... XD The fanart's cute. ^___^
Wahhhh! DOYLE! :_: I never got over that. I was really loving the show and then they had to pull a stunt like that. I only watched it once or twice afterwards. XP And hell, if I were Hinoto I'd be 'shipping for A/K... in fact, maybe she is... perhaps all of this was a ploy to get them alone together and hope they'd find a nice love hotel and spend the weekend THERE instead of fighting to save the world and all that boring pointless crap. Only they're being difficult. *snicker*
You are much smarter than Dan Quayle. *pats* XD Shut up, you're mean. Leave me and my way with Japanese names alone. *sniffle* See, I have this condition where every time I think I know how to pronounce something, but haven't heard the official pronunciation, it's always always always wrong. As she was soooo kind to point out :P, I used to think "Nagi" was pronounced "Na-gee", and once got into a twenty-minute argument on the phone about it. ~~;;;; But hey, at least I never thought "Sa-koo-rah" was the correct pronunciation for "Sakura". *kicks the CCS dub* hehe
*wavewave* Hurrah for people who like Karen! The girl deserves more fans, yes indeed. *nod nod*
Disturbing? Hmm... disturbing is okay. XD I like Utena because it's just so... shoujo. Very dramatic, very romantic, and I like the way it plays with gender roles. And yeah, Nanami does seem rather naive, for all her scheming. I just finished watching the episode with Tsuwabuki-kun... she was so mean to the poor kid XD
Wrapping this up now, 'cause I'm tired and people are bugging me to finish. :P I had some rants prepared about some stupidity that occurred at school today, but I'll save them for tomorrow. I'm sure you're terribly disappointed. *snicker*

Just watched X 14! *squee* Yeah, I know everyone's been saying this ep is just filler, but it had so many cute moments! Thoughts:
-Karen. Gorgeous. Gah.
-The look on Aoki's face was priceless. Looks like somebody was wishing the earth would just swallow him up... hehehe
-Hehe, I don't remember Aoki actually physically shutting Sorata's mouth in the manga. Amused me.
-Maybe it's just me, but I can't tell Kamui and Subaru apart anymore. *waits to be whapped by about 400 fangirls* XD
-Sorata. Back up. I'm beginning to think that if Kamui was a girl, Arashi would've been out of luck in the "having Sorata die for you" area.
-The sword bit was boring, and went on forever. "He sealed the sword"-- thank you, captain obvious.
-Loved Yuzu's little "robot" comment and Arashi's reaction. *snerk*
-Right, Nataku, you talk to that sword as if it isn't an inanimate object. -.-
-Kusanagi has forked eyebrows. Just thought I'd point that out.
-Am I the only one bothered by the fact that Hinoto can talk? Kinda... defeats the purpose, eh? o.O
-Awww, Karen comforted Yuzu. Awwww. *gets the warm fuzzies* XD
-Yes, Daisuke, listen to your uncle. He's wise. ... And cute. ^_^
Damn, that was cute. Lotsa kawaii DoH moments. ^___^ Will report on X 15 when I'm done watching it.

Today sucked harder than Keiichi in a Technomancy smut fic. And yes, it did take me several minutes to come up with that analogy. Where's my gold star?
Anyway. For one thing, my two best friends at school both decided to skip today, which meant I was terribly bored all day with no one to talk to in most of my classes. On top of that, I got detention. Now, I have managed to not get detention throughout my entire middle and high school career, and I ruin my streak during the last half of my senior year. Over something as stupid as skipping studyhall last Friday. I skipped studyhall about 18 times last semester and no one said a word. The person in charge of my 8th period studyhall is a bitch and the people in there are so fucking loud and annoying that I can't even stand going there, so when the comp lab and library are both closed, I just skip. It's not as if I was running through the hallways throwing things and screaming, so what the hell is the big deal? Now I get to sit at school and be completely silent for an hour and a half and get treated like a delinquent for no good reason at all. Mouuu, I hate my school. ><;;;;
*patpat* I hope things get easier for you soon. I know what you mean about feeling like you're not contributing enough... I feel like that whenever I go through a dry period writing-wise, but don't worry, it'll pass soon. ^^
Hmmm~mmm, not half bad. XD All of a sudden the poor guy's gonna have all these anime fans after him *snicker*
Speaking of hot... holy shit. That Naoe guy is fucking gorgeous. As someone quite aptly stated last night, "Reproduction! Now!" XD Yuzuru seems rather cute... but that second pic of Pretty Guy with Long Name scares me muchly o.O;;;;; Hehe, I could probably have a conversation like that with my mom while she's watching Ricky Martin... "Hey Mom, mind if I throw my brother out a second story window?" "Yeah sure whatever *blank stare*" XD
TRAITOR! Dirty rotten traitor! LOL I can't believe you're sympathizing with Gimpy. I'm sorry, but losing Daisuke is just no excuse to go and try to murder good, innocent, and very attractive people before they even have a chance to jump in bed and have a torrid affair.... what was I talking about again? XD
I finished the first Utena tape last night. Utena is cute. She could also kick my ass. Anthy is the biggest whimpering uke I have ever seen (worse than Kamui, even), and I might like her if she grew a spine. Touga amuses me, Saionji is a prick, Miki is a strange little boy, Nanami is an irritating whiny ho (but the whole "Operation: Himemiya Anthy is a weirdo" routine was funny)... um, yeah, that's about it. Haven't seen enough of Juri to really comment, but I want her hair. ^^;;;

*looks out the window* Yup. Sure is windy out there.
Weather sucks here right now, besides wind speeds up to 53mph, there is flooding in various areas. To which I say, yay, I hope it's like this again tomorrow. Coincidentally, I have to work 8 and a half hours tomorrow, and it's the day before Super Bowl Sunday, so in case something (like oppressive weather, coughcough) prevents the entire town from converging on our poor small grocery store and buying all our beer, I'm gonna be fucking exhausted by the time I get home. Hint, hint, Mother Nature.
Oooh, but I get to write a short story based on "Christabel" by Samuel Taylor Coleridge for one of my English classes. And "Christabel" is basically (in my humble opinion, it's awfully confusing but I like this interpretation best) about a girl who has a lesbian experience and then drives herself crazy over the loss of her purity and the reality that her "knight" doesn't exist. Yay for me getting to write gay for some purpose other than my own amusement. *snerk* Now the only question is, can I warp it into an X fic? XD
Hmm, Sense and Sensibility was the topic of my senior thesis... basically I just contrasted the two characters... I always rather liked Marianne, because Elanor seemed to me a little too perfect and controlled. She's the better character, but Marianne appealed to me because she was so flawed. Well, that and she kind of reminds me of myself in some ways. Willoughby, the bastard, reminds me of just about every guy I've ever liked. XD Mou, I wish I had a Colonel Brandon *sigh*
You are quite welcome. So what do you think of Karen in X TV so far? I think she's perfectly gorgeous, but there's been far too little of her. Ah well, looking forward to episode 19 ^___^ .... *thwap!* XD No Dai/Karen, that's just scary. Although... it's better than Yuuto/Karen, but so's everything *waits to be thwapped back* LOL.
I completely agree with your rant on success. My father is one of those people who measures everything in how competitive you are and how successful you are compared to everyone else, and he can't stand the fact that that kind of success isn't important to me. He's all bent out of shape that I won't be valedictorian, because he thinks I could have been and just didn't work hard enough. Which may be true. But I look at some of the people who are in the running for valedictorian, and they spend four or five hours a night on homework, pull all-nighters to study for tests, and basically drive themselves crazy trying to do everything perfectly. I could never live like that, not for a few extra points on my grade and a higher class rank. It just isn't important enough to me for me to sacrifice my free time and happiness. I get honor-roll caliber grades, am in the honor society, am considered one of the smarter people in my school, and yet I'm still somewhat of a disappointment to him. So success really is all relative, and not that important to begin with.
I think I like Arthur's logic! ^_~ *points at the side story* "ONE"! He says it three times! weeeee! ... alright, I'm done *snerk* I hope he doesn't find the DoE, personally. Considering how quickly they killed off Seishirou-san, it could mean bad things. o_o;;; Kawaii Keiichi-art! Think you'll ever try your hand at any of the other characters? (Hell, you could always make your own Daisuke color pic... ^_~)
I shall now go and watch some Utena. Updates on the brokenness of my brain will commence later.

Got out of school a whole five minutes early today, whoopee. *twirls finger* There's a little slush on the road and everyone goes nuts, yeesh. This is Western New York, you'd think we'd be able to take this in stride compared to the fact that we usually end up with approximately 85 billion feet of snow by the middle of the winter. ~~;;; Of course, I say this, but I wouldn't drive in it. ('Course, I wouldn't drive when the road's perfectly clear either. In a perfect world, I wouldn't have to drive at all. We'd all be a lot safer, believe me. XD)
Megan, you really don't think Yuuto could ever swing the other way? o_o See I just think "he's a ho, he's a CLAMP character, he's gotta be bi." hehe. When it comes to straight relationships though, I actually think he makes more sense with and is more compatible with Satsuki than Karen (I don't know that I'd call Yuuto/Satsuki cute, but perhaps in a twisted sort of way it is... hehe)... but hell, what do I know XD
*snerk!* I love it! Hey, if you find any more strips that fit, we could put 'em on our X site. ^___^ So, uh... who are Calvin's mom and dad, then? XD Anou, if you hate your glasses, perhaps you could get contacts? Or isn't that an option for whatever reason?
Webcomics are awfully addicting, ne? ^_^ I'm hooked on Okashina Okashi thanks to the alert you sent to CML about the CLAMP parody. ^_^ I love the drawing style... gotta love Eeichi-kun and Ho-chan and the catboys. XD And I've just started poking through the archives of Megatokyo (which reminds me of a less cartoonish Penny Arcade with anime references so far) and BMB. They're all quite good ^___^

I have realized something. I *heart* Korean X fan pages. Especially this one, but I went poking around in the links and found some really cute fanarts on some of the other sites. Not to mention scans (thanks ^_~). *_*
Asuka scan #1 - The prettiness, it will destroy us all. (Anyone else think he should have some sparklies? I think he definitely needs sparklies XD)
Asuka scan #2 - Ooo Karen... Aoki looks a little weird at the top, though. Someone got lazy, I think. hehe
The X girls do "Miyuki-chan" - ... Really kawaii, but why didn't Karen get the slinky catsuit? ^^;;;
Pretty Karen fanart
A whole page of gorgeous art - I am so jealous of this person's drawing skills. ~~;;;
There's quite a bit of S/S art here as well, if anyone's so inclined. I also found what appeared to be a mini-comic with Karen and Yuuto (growl), and another that looked kinda like Yuuto and Sei (yay!)
Ohhh, that reminds me... not to give anything away... ^^;;; but go read this. It's good... different. ^_~
Your nephew sounds kinda scary... o.o;;; hehe. Um... I think finding a link between X and Calvin & Hobbes might just be the single strangest thing you have ever done in my presence. *snerk* I love it. So Subaru's intelligent, a bit of a goody-goody, and gets smacked in the head with snowballs a lot more than is probably healthy... hmm, that could explain some things. Anou... who was involved in the FFX threesome? ^^;;; I love Lulu, Wakka amuses me, Yuna's an eensy bit whiny and I'm not too fond of her voice actress but at least she's pretty, and Tidus is just a dumbass. Oh, and Rikku's cute. I wonder if she'll come back later in the game... (yeah, I'm a slow player hehe)
*snugs* I really hope things get better for you soon. I've been a bit worried, you've been a little quiet lately but that's understandable, I just wish both of you didn't have to deal with all that. I'd like to fly down there and smack a few people in the head for making life so difficult for you (not the least being a certain evil history teacher, hehe). *snuggles some more*
Hehe, pulsating bratwurst, what a terribly attractive mental image that brings about. ~~;;; It's a turnon. Really. *snerk* You should make an official list and stick it up somewhere, it'd be amusing.
Yeesh, that lady needs to lighten up, I think. ~~;;; I actually find it very difficult to not use anime emoticons in e-mails to non-anime MLs or friends who aren't into anime... which is why I don't e-mail them much ^^;;;
watching the fish swim by on Wednesday, January 30, 2002 at 03:57 p.m.
... Darren Hayes is a dirty boy. No wonder they don't play the entire song on the radio, by the end he's practically orgasming set to music. Lovely. XD I like the song a lot, but it's... so unlike Savage Garden (well, not so far off from the stuff on the import album I have, I guess). I think I prefer the style of "Affirmation", but that's just 'cause I'm a sap. We shall see what I think of the solo album when it comes out.
Hehe, I wanna see the bad penis names! XD and the new layout is quite cute. Damn, Keiichi looks like he could snap Kamui in half in that picture. I think they went a little overboard with the broad shoulders-- I have never seen a 16-year-old with a body shape like that in my life. hehe
Well, that too. If they leave the tea scene out someone will get hurt. But... well, they've never exactly been on screen at the same time in the TV show before, so... yeah, this is an exciting moment for me XD And I wanted to see Sorata get scandalized. I'm glad they left that in, even if it is quick. ^______^
*ahem* ... I LOVE YOU. *offers firstborn child, for real this time* XD I didn't think I was gonna be able to see the whole thing unless I happened to luck out and be able to buy it someplace, which I haven't had great luck with in the past. This is great! *glomps* ^_^
Ooh, and speaking of scans, as soon as I recieve my First Contact artbook (which I paid extravagant amounts of money for on Ebay ^^;;;), I'll be making some. I sent out the money order yesterday, but it's gotta go to Japan so it may take a while. I want it nowww... ~~;;;
I'm sorry, Alison. That's really sad.
