Why look! I haven't archived yet, and it's past the seventeenth! Well.

I think I'll archive! ^_^.

11:16 p.m.

Yesterday was excruciatingly choc full o' stuff to write about!

Woke up around seven-ish, watched some TV, finished putting up my Queen's pictures, scanned some stuff for science, and then got ready for MOE. Oh yeah, and I had chocolate chip Eggo waffles for breakfast.. yum!

I decided to wear my over-large, new Queen's hoodie sweatshirt (thank you, Queen's people who bought it for me! ^_^). It's so over-large and soft! I wore my happy generic black tshirt and happy red pants, too, and I borrowed my sister's bag. I grabbed a bunch of money (much of it from my box o' red pockets or whatever the hell they're called in English) and went outside to wait for MOE.

I like sitting on my front steps, 'cause it's so damn relaxing. MOE and her sister and her dad and Joan came laaaaate. The drive to the convention was.. well, the drive to the convention. I saw a beatup blue van with a lisence plate that said "MEGA VAN". And Joan took lots of pictures with her d-cam.

Well, we got to the hotel, and.. I saw my first-ever cosplayer! And he was dressed up as Van, and I was all like *giggle* and I couldn't stop grinning at everything because it was my first-ever convention and I didn't know what to expect, but here was a cosplayer, walking around like it was the most normal thing in the world to go around dressed like Van from Escaflowne! And I felt all hyper and shat.

MOE's sister wanted to find her friends, so we walked around the lobby looking for them. I was sort of in a daze, and there were lots of people, so I basically just followed MOE&Co around. Joan took lots of pictures of stuff. We found MOE's sister's friends, and there was a lot of general confusion about where to go to register. Finally, we went down some stairs and got in a line. It was a semi-long line, and there was a table set up with free DBZ cards (one super-rare card in a bunch of super-common cards), and MOE and Joan and I each took one, all of that wimpy Jewel guy. I didn't know there were DBZ cards.. And there was this lady behind us who wouldn't shut up about.. everything! My GOD, she wouldn't shut up about how "retarded and disorganized" the people who were running the convention were. She wouldn't stop bitching about the line to her friends or whoever the hell she was going with. If I hadn't been so hyper and excited and happy, I might've glared at her and fumed and muttered stuff under my breath. Registering was a painless procedure: we went up the the person behind the table, gave him 25 bucks, got a name-tag and a green plastic bag full of stuff, and then off we went to search for the dealer's room!

There were tons of people in costumes! And some people who I wasn't really sure about.. they could've either been people who dressed up as angsty-dressing animé characters, or angsty people dressing up angstily.. especially that dude who was walking around with his black dress-ish shirt open! He had a nice chest, by the way.

GAH! The whole thing would've been a lot more fun if I knew more about animé! I had to constantly poke MOE in the shoulder and say, "Who's that?" I wish I was fanatical about one particular animé too, so I could run around and search out all and everything connected to it. As it were, I wandered around aimlessly with either MOE or Joan or MOE's sister, or spent time looking for one or all of them, and browsed. It was fun browsing, though! ^_^ MOE bought a GGX art-book-thing that had really cool pictures and stuff in them!

Here's a list of what I bought, in chronological order: a pair of kissing magnetic dogs (which I gave to my parents after), four bookmarks with cool-ass fairies on them (two of which I gave to my sister after), a Tree of Life print for Joan, a Dragon on a Cross print for me (all three of these by Svetlana Chmakova), an Animé North button, a blue marker, a hotdog (for lunch, and a cookie and ginger ale too!), three videos (three for ten bucks!), and a poster. I don't know how much I spent exactly, but I know I arrived with $120 and an uncounted amount of change and I left with $70 and an uncounted amount of change.

Browsing in the Dealers room, then Joan and I had a short look in the silent auction room, then lunch, then sitting on the ground for awhile, then checking out the hallway where the game rooms were, then meeting up with WM-Brian, then leaving to get in line for autographs, then a terribly long wait.

My parents called sometime after two-thirty and said they were coming to pick me up. At that point, I still had hope that I'd actually get IN the autograph-signing room, but the time passed, and I got all anxious and crap, so MOE's sister went with me to go look at more stuff in the Dealers room.

Oh! I almost forgot to mention: after lunch, I went to the, uh, room/foyer in front of the Dealers room, and I saw this really really funky ink picture of an eyeball. I asked the artist if I could have it, and he said no. Boo. So I asked if I could buy it, and he said no. Boo. Then I asked if I could eat it, and his friend beside him laughed and said maybe. Then MOE or someone told me to hurry up, so I left. So I didn't get the eyeball after all. :(

Anywho, back to the part about MOE's sister accompanying me to the Dealers room. On the way to the Dealers room, an old security guard stopped me and commented on my Queen's sweatshirt. His dad had worked 25 years in Queen's med, and he told me that, "Friends don't let friends go to Queen's med!" And I was all like, "Teehee."

Yeah, so we got to the Dealers room (I bought the three tapes right outside of it), and I agonized over a poster, and then I bought it. I also saw Parasyte! I think I've read it before, or some parts of it, at least. It's good, and.. and.. the parasite's and alien that attaches itself to humans and makes their faces and hands and whatever bodyparts into claws and large fanged mouths and other sharp things! It's SO cool! I wanted to buy all twelve of the books, but it would've cost $200. :( Boo. I really wanted them.

MOE's sister and I got back to MOE and Joan, and they were still in line and looking kinda pissed. MOE's sister escorted me to the front, where my parents were waiting. All in all, it was pretty damn awesome! I wanna go next year! ^_^

Yeah, so that was the Animé North, my first convention evAR. After that (yeah, I know), my parents and I went to pick up my sister from Market Village, and then we drove over to Tiffany's! Yay! Her internet was down. Boo. But dinner was good! When we got there (a little bit before Kyle and the rest; HA!), we caught the end of Drumline. Apparently, they have a DVD player now. I found a copy of Pride and Prejudice in Tiffany's room (the kid's version; you know, that series that takes all the "classics" and makes them readable for young children?) and read it in her backyard. The dog on the other side of the fence barked at us, as usual. Well, it was just us girls (and Tiffany's little brother Derek) outside, and I dunno what Kyle and Kelvin were doing at the moment. Then we got called in for dinner. After dinner, I finished Pride and Prejudice while simultaneously watching The Immortal with Kyle; personally, I wanted to watch this other show--I don't know what it's called, but the beginning bit was really freaky/fun: this girl goes into this clothes-store changeroom, and gets all pissed at all the clothes she's trying out, and throws them around and stuff. Then the saleslady is like, "Are you okay in there? How is everything fitting?" and then all of a sudden the girl opens the changeroom door and says, "I dunno, you tell me!" and then she holds up a large knife, and there's a closeup of the saleslady's horrified expression, and then there's commercials!@ But we watched The Immortal instead, which was less good but also good.

The rest of the evening was spent running around Tiffany's house, eating ice cream and cake, and watching Buffy. Then we went home. The end.

11:55 p.m.

Today.. today... gah, I don't really give a shit anymore.

Just in case you're wondering though, that medium-sized tree in the neighbour's backyard lost a branch; it snapped right off for some reason. And thanks to a dcam that is not ours, I might be able to get a picture of it tomorrow morning! Woo!

But don't count on it, because tomorrow morning, I'll be scrambling around to get ready for Animé North, my first-est convention evAR! I wonder what it will be like..

And tonight, we went over to Kelvin's house for no apparant reason. I'm calling it Kelvin's house because Kyle and Kelly were already fast asleep when we got there. You know why? 'Cause they have to wake up at four in the morning tomorrow to go to some swimming competition! FOUR IN THE MORNING! FOUR IN THE MORNING! FOUR IN THE MORNING! OH MY GOD! Yeah, so while my daddy helped Kelvin's daddy install some shat on their computer, we sat around and:

a) listened to/messed up Kelvin while he played the piano.
b) ate icecream.
c) read the 2003 Book of Records.

Also, Kelvin pretended to choke me because he's a little turd, so I elbowed him somewhere (his face, I think). Oh well, he's... he's Kelvin. Neh. And we were offered sourkeys, but I didn't want any. Then we left. And we'll be seeing them tomorrow again at Tiffany's. Yay! ^_^

10:55 p.m.

Two very very odd things happened this week. Well, one excrutiatingly-scary-odd and the other amusing-funny-odd.

1. Bruce asked me if I'd lost weight. No. I'm NOT shitting you. Seriously. Tuesday, I walked up at the beginning of class to hand in my poetry journals, and she said, "Beatrice, have you lost weight?" Like that, just like that, out of the blue. Naturally, I mumbled some shat and ran away.

2. I just heard Arthur sing SClub7. Ewwwwww >.< Well, actually, not ew to Arthur, 'cause he sings pretty good, but ew to SClub7.

07:48 p.m.

A few small things of no particular importance, in no particular order:

I really should be working, but I'm not. So HA!

They're watching a James Bond movie upstairs--on the French channel! I wonder what a Russian person sounds like when they speak French. Like.. you know the whole Russian accent thing when they talk English? Yeah.. what about when the speak French or something else?

I was talking to Ben a bit.. a million quarters is a quarter of a million! WHOA!

Quote of the day--"..because it fills your quench for hunger." Said by Nick in response to... I dunno.. something JonA said. And YES, I KNOW there's no "k" in his name! But it just feels so damn strange to type Nic. Makes me feel strange and.. not-finished-typing-the-name-ish.

My daddy's just gone out to get the photos from Queens. This should be interesting. How much you wanna bet that a ton of them won't come out properly or are extremely messed up because I was aiming the camera wrong?

And I finally figured out why I hadn't heard from JamesNotDave! I was checking the wrong email account all along! ^_^ Aren't I silly? Yeah.

12:06 a.m.

Oh! And, I DID read Lord of the Flies at Queen's (haven't done much else homework, though.. heh) I understand most of the symbolism, but.. That part where the pig's head starts talking really confuses me... the pig's head is supposed to be the Lord of the Flies that the title's talking about, right? Cause it's dead and all the flies are swarming around it? But.. they cut the head off of a sow, right? So how could it be a "Lord"? And how could it talk? Unless the kid really WAS crazy! But I think he was just quiet and misunderstood. Yup. They're all dumb, especially that Jack kid. What a jerk. Jerkface.

And! I finished Face of Deception, Yell! ^_^ I started and finished it all today, which is why my sketchbook assignments aren't done. ^_^

And damnit! I don't wanna go back to school tomorrow! I want to stay home and sleep allllll daaaaaaaay! I'm gonna start whining or something.

Sunday, May 11, 2003
11:42 p.m.

Gah. Can't believe I'm back! I missed my bed and my house and real food and my bathroom and my family. And all of you people, of course ^_^. Too much stuff to type all at once, and I'm feeling lazy so I won't really get into describing the trip, so neh!

I would, however, like to reply to Jessica's talk of the crazy dude in the park. He wasn't all THAT freaky! Of course, I wasn't standing so close to him, and I wasn't really listening to whatever crazy-talk he was spewing, so neh. But really. What could one crazy guy do to the seven of us? He couldn't do anything to ALL of us at the same time, could he? Oh well, he was probably creepier than I remember him... I forget what he looks like, too, was he the chubby one I took a picture of?

I can't wait for my pictures to come out! Some of them probably didn't come out too well, 'cause I've no camera skills >.< . Oh yeah.. that reminds me, Jessica still has my camera.

Er.. what else? Oh yeah! Yesterday, I went to help out at the semi-Chinese school.. the kids were all hyper and shat, but it was all good; I haven't been in such a long time, I'm surprised they remember me. Rebecca gave me this funky paper-cutting-thing, Timmy'd gotten a haircut, and Mandy actually spoke some English at me! Wow! And, as I was leaving class late with young Timothy, the next teacher walked in, and he looked so familiar!@ And he smiled at me and I smiled back, and then he looked at me like we knew each other or something, which was pretty damn bizarre. Because I don't recognize him. Though.. he did remind me a bit of Lincoln. He couldn't be that old-looking, could he now? Let's see.. I started in grade four.. so... I must've first met him in.. uh.. hm.. I forget, but I know I knew him for sure in grade seven.. or was is grade six? Six or seven, one of those.. so that's two-three years difference, I think. I really can't remember. But I reckon he's barely out of high school, if out at all. Needless to say, I plan to be out of class late next Saturday.^_^

Sunday, May 4, 2003
12:13 a.m.

Cha! And did I mention that I bought new shoes on Friday? ^_^ Woo! I'ma wear them and love them and wear them and love them forever and ever and ever. But I'll never let go of my old shoes, though.. You know.. the whole get-rich-and-commission-adidas thing? Yar. Anywho, they're fun and black and red and blue-grey and adidas. And I found them in the guys' section, 'cause the girls' section had ugly-ass/too-small shoes. And sandals. Lots of sandals. Blegh. But the guys' section was full of fun, colourful, comfy sneakers! Pfft! Unfair!

And I bought a shirt on a whim, which is very much not-me. Oh well. And we (mom, sister, me) ate lunch in the food court. And then we went to BestBuy to look at earphones, but I ended up buying mine from MusicWorld. And then the mall started getting crowded, so we left.

BYE EVERYONE!@ :(

Saturday, May 3, 2003
11:46 p.m.

Queen's tomorrow! And I haven't started packing!

Yesterday, I saw the coolest America's Funniest Home Videos EVAR! There was this dude, who bounced a basketball off three walls and into the basket! And this kid who rode backwards on a bike while juggling! And this cat who lip-synched to a song! Dude!@

And my large tonal drawing looks strange... It looks like I upped the brightness AND the contrast, 'cause his glasses stand out so much. And I did a crappy-ass job on his eyebrows, too. Oh well. I'm done, and I'm not touching it ever again!

This morning, I rolled over and punched my alarm clock, puncturing my right pinky-finger. I was half-asleep, my alarm clock wasn't even ringing, and it isn't even a clock that you punch to make it shut up (there's a little switch at the back). I'm stupid. And since I was half-asleep/am stupid, I fell right back asleep without bothering to get up and dress my wound. Mistake! Mistake! My finger got bled stuck onto my pajamas. Ugh. And still stings now; I hope it's not infected...

We went to my favourite restaurant for my b-day. "We" being the family. As we were waiting for a spot, I saw James walk by with HIS family, and we waved. At the end of the meal, I wrote "Thank you!" in chili sauce on a plate. It's gonna be my new calling card! I'll paint the town spicy! And noone can stop me! Bwahahaha!

It still hasn't really sunk in that I'm leaving tomorrow. ^_^

Thursday, May 1, 2003
09:03 p.m.

Wow! Today wasn't even my birthday, and I got TWO b-day presents! Joan gave me an excruciatingly soft happy monkey, who's name is currently Mendel! My sister presented me with 3EB's Blue! Yay! ^_^ Thannnnnk youuuuuuu! x infinity!

Er... what else happened this week?

Ryan gave me a buck and I went and bought cookies from the vending machine.

KT and I got our English tests back, and were shocked to find that we'd gotten 7-7.5 on the essay question--after all, we wouldn't have reached the normal number of paragraphs in an essay even if we combined our two "essays".

I still haven't done much on my tonal, which isn't that great, seeing as I hafta finish it by Saturday.. On the bright side, I have one poem written for English. ^_^

I also signed Ulrica's locker today; her b-day's tomorrow, which sucks. Damn you, Ulrica! You and your birthday three days ahead of me! Teehee, grade nines are older than me!

I think I'll go read fanfics now.

Tuesday, April 29, 2003
10:20 p.m.

DUDE!@ FERRETS!

Tuesday, April 29, 2003
10:05 p.m.

I'm extremely not happy with the way my tonal drawing of Angry-Balding-Fat-Man is looking. However, I'm also extremely scared of actually continuing the drawing; I coloured his suit today, but not much else, for fear of screwing it up more. I mean, look at his eyes! They look sad and soulful, for God's sake! Where's the anger and petulance I fell in love with? I look at Angry-Balding-Fat-Man in the original picture, and I see him expressing a biting remark about Americans or something. I look at the rough sketch of him in my rendition, and I see an whiny overgrown fat mini-man with deep soulful eyes. Blarg. I don't understand why people love drawing eyes so much! I hate drawing eyes. They always come out with the wrong emotion. Personally, I like noses--two nostrils and some shading and POOF! a nose. There isn't any emotion to screw up while drawing nostrils. Nostrils are definitely not the windows to the soul, so therefore they rock. And I added a page of doodles. See, now that the immediate threat of English CPTs are gone, I'm back to slacking horribly. ^_^

Tuesday, April 29, 2003
12:35 a.m.

Or! Uh... I forget. Whatever, I'm going to bed.

Tuesday, April 29, 2003
12:34 a.m.

Or! Take over the world and do nothing for the rest of your life, keeping the rest of the world compliant with a limitless supply of chocolate chip cookies! You'd eat a few cookies along the way, of course... ^_^

Tuesday, April 29, 2003
12:32 a.m.

Or going up to someone who pisses me off and saying, "Fuck off, bitch. Take your fucking homework, shove it up your ass and then go blow a fucking camel." This would be fun to say if there were entirely no reprecussions whatsoever, no matter who I say it to. Like, I'd be able to go and say it and not get suspended or any of that shat. That'd be fun. ^_^

Tuesday, April 29, 2003
12:25 a.m.

Against my better judgement, I've decided to come online and update instead of go to sleep.

I've just finished my sketchbook assignment, and it looks like a load of crap. Or, a kitten disguised as a load of crap. Blarg. And I completely destroyed my black pencil crayon doing this stupid fucking assignment. There's like two inches left of it. My God, why can't they have more than one black pencil crayon per box? WHY? And my right hand is all cramped up from colouring frantically! ARGH! And it STILL looks like a piece of crap! The more I look at it, the uglier it gets! I need to burn it, quick! And I still haven't done anything on my tonal drawing... damn you, shading! Damn you to hell! With flames and everything@!

You know what I feel like doing right now? Stepping out into my backyard, climbing over the fence and into one of the bulldozers, and driving off, yelling, "I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU! BURN! BURN!" at nothing in particular. Or just yelling would be fine, but the rest of the family's asleep and shat, so neh. I haven't had a good yell in a long time... There's no place to go and be able to yell as loudly as possible without attracting attention. Yelling in the caf doesn't count. Like today! When I noticed that Jessica was sitting at the table behind Joan, and Joan and I were yelling at her for the longest time before she noticed we were calling her name. ^_^ But anywho, that doesn't count because it wasn't at full volume.

And there was BATCO today. It went.. well, it was.. typical. You know, the way it usually goes, except Sally and I didn't take the bus home; Ryan drove us and JonJon.. well, I got dropped off in the church parking lot, but neh, close enough.

I had one and a half cans of soup for dinner. And some Timbits. And we're out of milk. Which sucks, because that means I'll actually have to drink water at breakfast tomorrow/later this morning. Blegh.

Sunday, April 27, 2003
11:23 p.m.

That, my friends, is the linux penguin. He rocks.

I just finished my art. The kitten does NOT look like a kitten; it's a blob with evil eyes.

On Friday, I'd two tests! KT had three! Together, we had five! Okee, that didn't make any sense at all. What I MEANT to say was that the physics test wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I probably still made a bunch of stupid mistakes though; my brain was dead. I'd glanced at the second-last page while I was closing my test, and was shocked to find that one of my answers was "faster velocity s", in those exact words! Craaaazy! Yeah, but the English one was a real bitch, as usual. I started to fall asleep during it, as usual. I didn't finish my essay question, as usual. I got angry at it, as usual. Me and KT left the English classroom trying to predict our marks for the essay section. How the hell does she mark them, anywho? It's out of ten, yes? So me and KT figure it's 2 marks per paragraph in the body (assuming a standard three), one mark each for the intro and conclusion, and two marks left for grammar/spelling/punctuation/style/cohesion/whether she just plain hates you or not. If it's that way it is, I can hope for a 4-5, and that's IF she likes me (I think she thinks I'm a moron). BLARG.

Lots of people think I'm a moron, I think. The majority of my friends' parents, for one. That dude at Yell's party, who saw me drop a pat of butter on the table. Scratch that. I think most of the people at the party thought I was a moron. ^_^ But Yell is SUCH a great listener! (Yell, you rock!) And a few people probably thought I was an alcoholic or something... pshaw, wine SUCKS. Those two scary ladies were scary. :( They lectured me. I suck at being lectured. I get all.. wanting-to-swear-y. Add that to my strange inability to meet people's eyes, and I'm sure they thought I was one of Yell's dumber, more suspicious friends... >.<

On the bright side, they had a strawberry tree! With chocolate fondue... mmm... Those cinnamon hearts really burn! They burn good@! I ate tons and tons and tons, and then I ate a sugar cube and I couldn't taste it at all! And I couldn't taste my toothpaste either! Er.. the toothpaste was after.. like.. when I got home.. yar.

On to the throw-up-age! JonA threw up. Silly JonA. Someone threw up in the ladies washroom. I didn't see it personally, but Aky said it was all over the sink, and smelled really really shitty.

And the pool there is so pretty! Joan, Aky, KT, and I went exploring! And there was a door that didn't have a handle on one side, so I would've been trapped there forever and ever if Aky'd decided to be evil or something.

And it was really hard to slouch properly in my skirt. I woke up this morning with a sore neck because I'd spent all of that night half-slouching.

And the candles! ROCK! They were so cool! They were in pretty purple candle-holders! And we burned stuff. On cocktail sticks. And I almost set the table-cloth on fire, 'cause I dropped a flaming.. tissue, or something. And apparently I almost burned my hair too, according to Tim and Arthur. Oops. :D

And SVP Lianne was there, and so was "Kenny". I still don't remember him at all! Blarg!

Er.. there was dancing, but I didn't dance. Except the chicken dance! That was crazy. Really, I just sat there and bothered Chris Sparkes and other nearby people.

And KT bought a shirt. A red shirt. That goes with her red cellphone. Ooo! And Joan was asking KT for her shirt, "when you're done with it", D.d

GAH! Damn! I left my thank-you-for-coming-chocolates in the van!

And we were actually not-late for Mass today! Is that freaky or what? I sorta.. semi-dozed off during the homily, though.. I can't help it! A night of improper slouching followed by proper posture in a wooden pew in the early morning? BAH!

Sunday, April 27, 2003
08:41 p.m.

HAPPY B-DAY, YELL!!!

I'm listening to Smashmouth as the printer spews out my vile English CPT. I feel victorious. I'd feel MORE victorious if there was no art waiting for me upstairs. Oh well. ^_^

Yesterday was all... whoa! and shat. Well, not the morning. I went to the library to do English. Blegh. Then I went home, had wonton and noodles in soup for lunch, and then pissed away the rest of the afternoon "researching on the internet"...

At around five thirty-ish, I FINALLY decided to start getting ready. Shower, change, run around looking for shoes, get in the van, drive there.

Got there, went inside the place-thing. Bunches of Yell's relatives were already there, as were Jessica, Chris Sparkes, Aky, Sam, and.. uh.. yeah. It was an L-shaped room! And there were balloons! And sparkly confetti on the table! And purple napkins! And a DJ! And a Samantha Heather!

We had a whole "Hey, the washrooms are locked!" thing. And there were cinnamon hearts. I ate many. Many many many. Like, I got home, spat in the sink, and it was RED. Anywho, I'm getting ahead here. Er.. there was a long, long, funny slide-show thing! And then we ate! There was potato salad and curry and dinner rolls and rice and chicken and jerk..meat... it was yummy!

And I had two wine coolers! In friendly toasts with Sally, along with other people. Yeah, and there were candles. And.. jeebus, I really can't type with my dad looking over my shoulder, so I'll bit--talk some other time. Stupid fucking art.

Friday, April 25, 2003
11:28 p.m.

DUDE! Talk about slacking off! I've honestly been doing nothing these past few days. NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. And I still couldn't find the time to update, eh? Neh. Anywho, there was nothing to talk about. And I really have nothing to talk about now. So... I'll just stop typing.

P.S. I'm going to kill you. Why? No reason, really, just feel like it. ^_^

Wednesday, April 23, 2003
10:32 p.m.

I like reading. I read good. Good as in fast. Which is good, because no matter how dumb I get, I can still turn to any random person and say, "Dude! Lookit! I can read faster than you!" Or something. GOD, my brain's not working.

My favourite part of those silly english presentations is still ringing in my ears. DaniO, Nicole, and Scott's creative reading of their poem...

DaniO: ...and he feeds off her face.

Scott&Nicole: Feeds off her face!

Doesn't that evoke the funnest mental images evAR?

Tuesday, April 22, 2003
11:41 p.m.

Blarg. Back to the daily grind of doing nothing and then feeling guilty about it. Well, in English, anywho. I actually DID my science. Sally says our English presentation was pretty good for less than an hour's work, and I agree! However, I would like to formally apologize to my group for being such a lazy ass. I'm sorry, MOE! Sorry, Aky! And last but not least, I'm sorry, Andrew! I've lost all my enthusiasm for English, which wasn't much in the first place. I noticed that I was getting crappy because I wasn't working. So I decided to try working, which also didn't work; I got the same as before or even worse, which doesn't make sense at all. So, HA! Damned if I "apply myself" in that subject again!

Yeah, and I missed the BATCO breakfast this morning. I heard it sucked, though, so neh. I haven't checked the BATCO board in ages. Oops. Oh well, maybe tomorrow!

This time-limit on the internet thing is really starting to really really suck much ass. Blarg. I hardly have time to check my email and my daily sites, fanfics, webcomics and update this stupid blog and talk to people and play games and shat! BLARG!

My cousin came over on Saturday, along with Natalie and Tiffany and THEIR cousin from Hong Kong! There was tons of crazy crap to eat! Like turkey and spaghetti and cheesecake and soup! Yum! And did I mention how everyone rocked? I got 20 HMV dollars from Natalie and Tiffany! Yay! And Andrew didn't get me anything, I don't think, but he rocks anywho! I gave him that book to return to Albert. And I heard from him that they might be moving soon, which sucks. Boo. They've lived in that townhouse forever! They belong there. Because that's where they live! Blarg!

Oh, and the construction in the field (or, former field) behind the fence is going along quickly. I wake up, look out the window and the silly bulldozers are dancing around, making big dirt piles. I think they're laying the foundations soon, if not already.

Jeebus, someone shoot me, I wish it were summer.

Argh. School tomorrow. Wish I had a three week Easter break, like some people I know.

Today.. I pretty much did nothing... read fanfics... played games... went out for curry...

I wish my dead grandma was as cool as Anthony's dead grandma. All my grandma used to do was sit on our couch, stare into space, and squirrel used tissues up her sleeves. This was for the short time she lived in Canada with my uncle's family. She had alzheimer's, and then she had a stroke, and then she died. I didn't really get to know her, seeing as she knew no English, and I know little Chinese, and she creeped me out sometimes. She used to smoke and drink a lot. And now she's dead. Therefore, drinking and smoking is bad for you. Don't drink and smoke! (read: I've lost any semblance of coherant thought, and I want to go run into a wall or something)

Neh. I meant to archive yesterday, actually, but oh well. MOE's just pointed out to me that this place has gotten over a thousand hits! WOW! That's insane, you people should all go do something better with your time!

Well, it's finally the long weekend! Woo! However, there's no guarantee that it'll be great; I woke up this morning with my dad poking at my face and saying, "Get up and do homework, slave!" Okee, minus the "slave" part... besides, I don't have any homework this weekend! Well, none that I plan on doing. Anywho, I read a bunch of crap from the science textbook to keep my parents happy with the illusion that I'm a good student.. They took my report card surprisingly well.. oh wait. I haven't showed it to them yet, actually. Heh, silly me!

Yesterday was fun. I mean the bit that came after the school part. I went to KT's house! On her bus! And when I got off her bus, my art portfolio broke! And everything in it went flying down her street with the wind! Everthing included: two long rulers, my report card, the pamphlet of bad poetry which I'd picked up in the school office while waiting for Julia, and worst of all, my picture of Angry-Balding-Fat-Man! MOE and her sister, MOE's Sister, recovered everything that fell out for me quickly, except for Angry-Balding-Fat-Man, who flew down the street. I feared that I would never see him again. Anywho, it couldn't be helped, so I went inside KT's house.

The main reason for going to KT's house was to meet her new puppy, Belmont (her sister named him). He's scary, scary like an explosion of maggots. Cute, hyper, flesh-gnawing maggots. He jumped on me and chased me around. He's a cute, hyper, flesh-gnawing puppy. KT put Puppy in the backyard, and then we were off to Blockbuster's!

I found a spinny, helicopter-like thing on the way out of KT's house. Outside, I decided to make it spin and fly, and see where it would go in the strong wind. It went and hit KT's neighbour's window. Oops. And KT's neighbour had just arrived home, and was standing in his driveway as it happened. Wordlessly, he handed me the spinny-thing, which had bounced off the window and onto his front steps. Tee-hee, it was hilarious! Embarassing and awkward, but hilarious.

We passed MOE's house on the way to Blockbuster's, stuck two notes (written in sharpie and on Hall's packaging) in her mailbox, rang her doorbell, and ran away.

Upon reaching Blockbuster's, we rented Ringu, and then went and bought food at No Frill's. BBQ chips, a frozen pizza, and (what we thought was) double-chocolate cookie mix. Then we went to pick up MOE. Guess what MOE gave me! She magically conjured up Angry-Balding-Fat-Man! It turns out that she chased him down the street for me! MOE, you ROCK!

Ringu turned out not as scary as The Ring, or maybe it was just because it was still light outside when we watched it. There was a lot more gender equality in The Ring, I mean, the lady in this one didn't do any investigating at all! Her ex was like, "I'll go, you stay here." Man, and the little boy in The Ring was waaaay creepier; I wanted to bash his head in, but the little Japanese boy was so huggable! ("He looks like a bobble-head," MOE said.) While we were watching the movie, Puppy made several appearances, gnawing on KT's fingers and chasing MOE and me around and such. He's scary and wants to kill us all. And we had a goldfish-eating competition. Goldfish as in the cracker-type things. Whoever can stuff the most goldfish in their mouth while counting out loud clearly and without choking wins! And it turns out that the "cookie mix" me and KT bought was really muffin mix. Boo. We're not illiterate, just...not very observant, s'all!

Left while KT and MOE were playing Guilty Gear XX. Went to the library after dinner, and took out a bunch of sci-fi, including such favourites as Colony, Expendable, Fair Peril, etc.

stuffy rooms, overhead projectors, mud and nasty pebble grit, wearing shorts, wobbly desks, yams, centipedes, mosquitos, drying my hair, Chinese mushrooms, shrimp, crab, seaweed, sushi, doing homework, intense sunlight reflected off snow, my swimming goggles fogging up, the smell of roses when I'm hungry, being late, the school's toilet paper, bibliographies, losing things, having both feet fall asleep, wearing skirts or dresses, wearing high heels, walking down stairs in high heels while being pushed along by an exiting crowd, sweltering hot summer days, melted snow, walking through slush, makeup, etc.
