Today was the craziest Friday we've had in a while. So en route to school this morning I siddenly remembered that I left my bowling clothes at home. Grrr... School sucked today. We didn't do anything in any of my classes. We played Operation in spanish class today. I forgot how much that game freaks me out. You're just trying to operate carefully on the man and all of a sudden-FRE#VGT$UGV^%$@TU%$G#TKJ%K#YU%$#I-you get attacked my the buzzer, and it shakes, and it sparks. I think our group had a defective game - they're not supposed to spark, are they?
After school I got the fabulous idea to go buy some clothes instead of going to bowling and the movies in my school skirt. So me and Kristen went to Jewel (clostest place I could think of) and Lindsey eventaully found us there. I picked out some lovely "seasonal" wear i.e. pajama pants with hearts and a shirt that sayd STUD on it. Yeah, I got a lot of crap from the guys for that shirt... creeps. Bowling was fun. None of us really bowled at all. We just threw the ball down the lane as fast as we could and then when our turn was done went over to neighboring friends' lanes and socialized.
Then me and Kristen convinced everyone to go to Buffalo Wild Wings with us. We had a good following, about 10 people. We ate in there for a while and played that really fun digital game with the trivia. It was really fun. I got second overall. HoYay. Yummy.
Then me and Allie and Kristen went on over to Starbucks and sat there for a good hour and a half and mulled over possible turn-about dates for me. I found somebody to ask, and I really wanna go, but I hope I don't chicken out. No, I won't chicken out... I think. It'll be fun cause all my friends are going and I'd be in a really good group with them. So we'll see how that turns out. I can't decide how to ask him though. Probably a cookie-cake. Can't go wrong with a cookie-cake.
After our long disussion at SB, we went to go see In Good Company. It was better than I thought it would be, but not as good as everyone said it was. Some funny moments. What was really funny was how loud Allie was in the theater, with her loud remarks such as:
"Oh, I DON'T like him. What a meanie-head!" (Yes... meanie-head)
"Ooooooh! That's SO CUTE!"
"Ohmigosh! You can't just FIRE HIM!?!?!?"
Me and Kristen would laugh each time she would say something. Hee. Oh, so I can finally hook up my mini iPod. The Windows XP crap came in the mail today. What fun.
Don't know if I'm babysitting yet or not tomorrow. The lady told me to keep it open on my schedual... but she hasn't called my yet (which she said she would) with the details. You'd think she would've called by today, or something. I hope I don't have to babysit, because I wanna do something with Ashley, and discuss the possibilities of my turn-about date with her. Ooooh - I can finally wear that really cute brown strapless dress I bought a while ago. Hmm... anyway, gunna set up the new computer stuffs now. I'm out.

Yesterday was a really fun day. Lets see... Oh yeah. In the afternoon my mom and I took a little trip to "Spring Break" Grandma's house, and we went to Portillo's and the did a little shopping. And then on the way home we were going to go to Woodfield Mall and Ikea, but I had to be at Mario Tricocci at 3 ro get my hair done. I got lowlights and they look a lot better than they did. :)
Then I talked to Maggie, and there was no Mean Girls party, but then I talked to Kath and we decided to go to Clara's for world's best pasta. Mmmm... So then Lindsey called from an unknown location on her cell, and I told her the plan and she's all, "Dude. I'm already at Clara's." What a coincidence. So then we all met there and ate yummy pasta, and decided to go see Closer. Hahaha. Since me and Kath can both get into R movies, we bought our tickets first in case they asked for driver's licences. And they did. It was so weird, they've never checked before. So me and Kath bought our tickets, and then Lindsey (who was clearly with us) goes to the man and was like:
"Can I have a ticket to White Noise."
"Um... yeah. Don't you mean Closer"
"Yeah. Closer"
"Can I see some ID?
"Oh, I meant White Noise"
She really is our "Special Friend." The movie was really.... uh.... I just say that the commercials made it look like there was a plot. But there definitly wasn't one. Unless I messed it because I thought that the ending was defenitly different than what it was... Yeah. They played Damien Rice 5 times in the movie. Every song was a Damien Rice song. By the end we were all laughing at the lack of variety. Anyway.
Then on the ride home we all jammed to various Keith Urban songs such as "You'll Think of Me" which has never been a funny song until last night. It was past midnight and we were all really tired and the chorus part where it says "Take your cat and leave my sweater" was really funny. Cause the rhyme sucks, and the needed something to rhyme with 'better' and all they could think of was 'sweater'. And then they just threw the word 'cat' in there for effect. Heeeeeeee. Anyway. Lunch time. I'm out.
- Saturday, January 15, 2005 | 04:03 p.m. -
Today I went to lunch w/ Ashley. Fridays is always the best. Mmmm... chicken fingers. The only reason we went to lunch was so that I could give her the Alias tape from last Wednesday. Of course, I forgot it. Oh well...
On the way home from Fridays I got a little lost. No one told me that 75th dosn't go through to Madison. Whores. Luckily there was that new SuperTarget on Kingery... and I know my way home from Kingery... so I went and bought a cute pair of mittens to go with my lovely knitted white scarf and I also bought the Katrina Elam CD that I had wanted since I saw her w/ Keith Urban. She's a real good yodeler.
I have to go babysitting in a few minutes for the people who live in the castle. Maybe they'll pay me $15 an hour. I really need the money - I just bought Windows XP from Amazon. Damn price went up $20 from last week. But I need XP to connect with my mini iPod. I suppose its worth it. I'm out.

Ahahahaha! Fianls are over. Mass riots and dancing in the streets! Yaaaay! Yesterday was soooo much fun. So after my religion final (BTW, Sister Mary raped me in the ass with that one...), I went to Starbucks and drank my gingerbread latte while I sat in my car and read Bridgit Jones's Diary for an hour and a half while everyone was taking their last final. Then I went back to Benet and found Ashley and Krista and we joined Cocoa, Joc, Grace, Ryan, Lexi and Kevin and went to Noodles & Co. for lunch. Mmmm... Omg. Most embarrassing thing ever happened there.
Ok so this waiter was REAL HOT and he went back into the kitchen. And I was all, "Did anyone see that gorgeous man?" And Grace was all, "When he comes out again say 'chicken.'" So When he came out I said chicken really loud and obviously... then he came and took my plates and I was giggling like mad. Then as soon as he left I shouted to everyone:
"Did you feel that crazy sexual tension between us? He was all undressing me with his eyes and was like, 'CAN I TAKE YOUR PLATE'?" And as soon as I shouted the last part, he came back to the table (and heard that) to take other peoples plates. Needless to say, we got outta there fast.
Yeah. So at Noodles I had 5 Diet Cokes, and then Ashley and Cocoa decided that it was a good idea to go to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for even more sugar. Mmmm... Then me Ashley, Cocoa, Lexi and Kevin went back to Krista's house and watched Napoleon Dynamite which was real funny. Then I went home and later Krista, Kevin and Lexi came over to my house - along with Kathleen this time - and we drank hoards of Crystal Lyte raspberry ice tea and watched the DVDs of Reno 911! cause we like Terry. Who sells oranges and is on "Skittles." Hee... Then there was some DDR action, we gossipped, and everyone went home.
Today was fun, I woke up late and watched some Days, played DDR, and then watched Easy Entertaining With Michael Chiarello (a full hour!!! [except I already saw both episodes]) and then went to babysitt for a little while. Mmmm... I just sat and watched the VH1: Country channel the whole time. They played two Keith Urban videos. *Shudder with Delight*
And now I'm home and I have money and I want to call Mario Tricocci and get my hair lowlighted tomorrow, but I'm too damn lazy to walk over to the phone. They're not open at 9:30 anyway... oh well.
This weekend looks pretty eventful... Tomorrow, a possible IKEA trip for furniture, possible Mario trip for hair, and definite babysitting for a while. Sunday - more possible trips to IKEA and Mario if not done by tomorrow, and a Mean Girls party with Maggie later on. Monday - DDR party and going to bed early for school on Tuesday. Anyway I gotta lot to do. Like play poker. So I'm gunna go now.

Finals weren't too bad today. I expected they could've been a hole lot worse. Haha, on the way there at Belmont Rd., I look in the corner of my eye and see, none other thatn, a blue Ford Taurus (identical to mine in every aspect except for color). I check out the license plate briefly. Yep. My suspicion has been confirmed: It's Lindsey. We were stopped exactly next to each other at the 53 light and had a little laugh, then drove to Benet and studied in the caf before the first finals of the day.
Ew. I had history first. I expected it to be a bitch and a half, but it wasn't too bad. Even though I had no idea what the hell the 'French and Indian War' was (It never existed, I SWEAR!) I could guess all the questions that I didn't know. Thank God for the Scantron and multiple choice. Heeeee. Best question on the test EVER::
83. John Quincy Adams got along with plants better than humans. True or False.
Ha. Knowing me it was the only question that I got right. But thats OK, I got a good laugh. Oh, and the matching section was really funny too. It was like::
74: This election was a really close race between Adams and Jackson.
And then the choices would be
a.) Henry Clay
b.) The Election of 1824
c.) The Stamp Act
d.) The Mayflower
e.) All of the above
And the funny part was that I think she was too lazy to mix up the answers so that the actual answer wouldn't be close to any others. Good Ol' Coach T... expect she hates me and Kathleen. Hmm... Not looking foward to the new seating arrangements next semester. Bitch.
Math was OK. It was all Scantron, too. But Mr. Schumacher actually thought the answers through and but a none of the above to actually challenge us. One of the questions was about two male teachers were 9 feet apart on the floor and it took them 12.5 feet per hour to crawl to eachother - How long did it take them to crawl to eachother? I didn't even do the problem. The mental picture was really creepy and disturbing and I decided to leave it at that and guess none of the above. Safest choice there.
Only two more days of finals. I got my hard ones out of the way. Tomorrow is English and Spanish. I heard English is pretty easy, although I should study... And I just think of Spanish as a blow-off class, although I shouldn't because I only have a 90 in it. And Thursday is Religion. Sister Mary told us every single thing thats going to be on the final including the essay questions. Yeah. Shouldn't be too bad. Well, time to go study my English vocab. I'm out.
- Monday, January 10, 2005 | 04:51 p.m. -
Sometimes I really hate people. A lot. Yeah...
On a better note (or not I guess) my parents let me on the computer for a little break in between studying. UuuuugH! I'm so restless today. Studying sucks. Especially when its for finals. FUCK FINALS! AAAAAAH!
So yesterday I met another possible babysitting client. She had two kids and pays $8 an hour... not bad considering I was getting crap at the pool. And then there's this lady who wants to pay me $80 a week - but thats for like an hour everyday after school and Saturdays. I'm thinkin no Saturdays. But I would get a shitload of money. Hmmm... descisions, descisions...
Today was pointless. There was that whole 'exam prep day.' The only reason I went was so I could meet people there and then go out to lunch. I didn't even go to any teachers. Except for Coach T for our ID Tests. And she oh-so-convieniently "forgot them at home" Yep. Still hasn't done them. I found no one for lunch, so I went to Walgreens for gummy worms, and then went home and had my leftover "Chicken with Lemon and Rosemary Sauce over Roasted Potatoes" that I made last night for dinner. Recipe compliments of Michael Chiarello. And I made it and did it all myself.
I am a domestic goddess
But I did find Maggie and we're gunna have our long-awaited Mean Girls party Sunday night. Cause there's no school on Monday. Hurrah! And no school on Friday either. But I have to babysit both Friday and Saturday night. At least I'll make good $. People live in a fuckin castle...
Yay. New favorite song: "Pickin' Wildflowers" by Keith Anderson. Hurrah for twangy country music. Took me forever to download. (Speaking of which, that stupid episode of LOST that I started downloading a month ago...) Counrty music is so good. Only, like, 6 months and 2 weeks until Country Thunder. Yay. Need to get tickets...
Ooooh! I made my "Best of 2004" CD. But wait! IT'S TWO CDs, cause there was so much good music in 2004. The majority is country, a little over a half. But the rest is really good too. I've already started on my "Best of 2005." How exciting! I post the list for the "Best of 2004" next week, when I'm not studying, when I will be free. But for now its prison time. I'm out.
- Saturday, January 8, 2005 | 04:53 p.m. -
Long week - but I had some long-awaited consolation...
It was sooooo amazing! Syd was all, DUDE - I'm quitting. But then she kinda-dosn't quit, and joins this SD-6 type thing called APO, and SpyDaddy killed SpyMommy, and then Syd's all - Vaughn, lets take this slow, and they agree, but then 10 seconds later they start to have sex, and then everybody knows about APO expect for Weiss and YAY!
It was beautiful.
I like the whole Alias on Wednesdays. Cause its right after Lost, and I can just kill two birds with one stone (I don't really kill birds... thats Sarah) and have a whole 2-hour TV marathon thing instead of watching TV two times a week. Oh, on LOST, Saywer was shirtless for like, EVER! It was so lovely. Mmmm... I like Saywer. Then Vaugnn was shirtless on ALIAS. All sorts of shirtles men - everybody wins.
I 'trial' babysat yesterday. Yay for people who pay $10 an hour! It was so exciting. My mom said that if I want to go to London next year that I have to save half of everything I make... sounds good to me. It will be so fun! I've heard lots of stories form Lauren... can't wait.
Oooooo, I'm trying to convince the parents to elt me go to Country Thunder this summer. Me and Kendho want to camp out there for the whole 5 days and see Tim McGraw, KEITH URBAN (again!!!), Big & Rich, Montgomery Gentry, Phil Vassar, etc. And they still have two other big opening acts to announce. Yay for country music. Gotta go study for finals... I'm out.
- Monday, January 3, 2005 | 07:14 p.m. -
Once again my page looks beautiful. As always.
I had quite the fun week. Let's start from last Thursday... my birthday. OK, so, YAY. I have no curfew anymore. Yay for midnight movies! In the morning my mom took my to Weber Bakery for some birthday cake. I promised Sarah I would get her cake - and it was good. On the way there my mom was like, "You can pick ANY restaurant to have lunch at." So I jumped at the oppurtunity to go to White Castle! Mmmmmm...! Then I picked out a awful purdy cake with chocolate and fudge and rainbow frosting with my name on it. It was beee-utiful.
Then later Sarah, Ashley, Allie, Linz, Jocelyn, and Kristen came over, and we went for Jade Dragon. Mmmm... it. was. so. good. Then we went to Starbucks next door.
Then we went back to my house for presents and birthday cake and DDR! Yaaaaay for DDR! Linz was the left at midnight, and I DDR-ed into the night for hours after she left. What a lovely birthday.
FRIDAY:: New Years Day. I was supposed to go downtown with the family, but Ashley saved me and said that I could stay at her house for the night. At noon me and Ashley and Cocoa and their mom went out to Stir Crazy in Oak Brook and it was SO GOOD! Must have more stir fry! Then I went home and DDR-ed for 3 more hours until I went to Ashley's. There were lots of people there, and we played Texas Hold'em, James Bond, and pool into the night, and finally fell asleep at 3. Then the nest day we woke up at 11:30, and I rushed home to watch Easy Entertaining with Michael Chiarello. What a funny man. He made "Green Eggs & Ham." But it was really zuccini frutata and smoked prochutto with chive-infused e.v.o.o. Try that 10 times fast... Then I met the family at Denny's and went home and played DDR for 5 more hours.
Sunday. All day in PJs. DDR-ed for a few hours. Did nothing really. Good day.
Today. Boring. School seemed soooooooo long! Especially first period. It was horrible. TORTURE! But whatever. Anywho, two more days til ALIAS! Yaaaaaaaaay! Its been 8 months! I need my ALIAS! Can't wait. Hmmm... its goin on 8 PM. Waaay past bed-time. I'm out.
