Now I shoulda learned my lesson, done what I was told,
Shoulda counted all my blessings like fingers and toes,
And now I'm trippin like a blind man,
And searching high and low,
For you or somebody like you
For you or somebody just like you...

I Took One Step Foward and Looked Two Steps Back
- Wednesday, June 29, 2005 | 08:09 p.m. -
Ew: 8 hours of babysitting. Yay: $80. So it all balances out.
Let's seeeeeee.... Oh yeah. Monday after mad hours of babysittitng I went on over to Kath's pool and chatted with Linds and Alex who were also there. Then we had tacos! With beans! I LOVE BEANS! Seriously.
Oooooh, yesterday was awesome! Me, Linds, Kristen and Kath took the choo-choo downtown to SHOP! But then we didn't shop, so we went to the Taste. Yummm! We had fried pigeon and chipmunk on a stick. Mmmmmm... not really, but we did eat perogies (sp?) and BBQ chicken pizza and FUDGE, FUDGE, FUDGEY-FUDGE FUDGE! Yaaaaay! And then we walked 578430752 miles and saw a hypo-alrgentic seeing-eye dog. Heh. Fun. Then we played Uno. And me & Kristen jammed to "Somebody Like You" Yaaay.
I like the new Sugarland song. Yes, I just thought about what I said, slapped myself and I still like it. I dunno why. Its good. Download "Something More" Just do it.
Ok, I'm gunna go now. Byebye.
Heeeeeee - Keith Urban was ALL WET!
- Sunday, June 26, 2005 | 01:31 a.m. -
Un-fucking-believable
It's 1:30 in the morning, and even after a two hour drive home my hair is still damp, my clothes are all wet, and it was still the BEST CONCERT EVER.
After a two hour drive to Rockford, me, Kristen and my aunt had to pick up the tickets and wait in a 1/2 hour line just to GET IN the show. On our way up to Rockford we started to follow this car:

I don't think you can read the bumper stickers, but they say "Git 'Er Done" "Badass Redneck" and "If it ain't country music - it ain't good music."
Since we've never been to Rockford before, and were a little lost as to where the exact stop of the concert was, my aunt decided it was a good idea to follow that pickup... and sure enough it led us to concert parking.
When we got to Davis Park we had to wait in line for a little and then we sat on the grass and waited for Keith:

But then there were all these strange opening acts who sang Prince and U2... so we still had to wait a little longer for him to come out - 2 hours! At least we got to stare at the monkey

Then.... KEITH CAME ON! He sang Days Go By (a perfect opener) and had all these awesome lights

Wow. It's like Jesus!
After "Days Go By" he sang "Better Life" (his next single), "Raining on Sunday", "You Won" and "You're My Better Half"

Mmmm, he looks good...
And then it started to rain.
It was only a little bit at first, but then there was all this thunder and lightening, and it started pouring and everything was still wet, but Keith kept playing.

It was really funny. All of a sudden during one of his songs he just started improvising "It's raining REALLY hard and theres all this lightening - BUT I DON'T CARE!" And then everyone cheered cause who wouldn't want to see Keith Urban all wet? He was like, "This is to all you crazy mofo's out there! It's OK that its raining cause y'all are probably completely drunk by now!"
Heeeeeee. Keith Urban said 'mofo.'
Then he played some more of his hits like "Where the Blacktop Ends", "Making Memories of Us", "You Look Good In My Shirt" (He got on the ground and started playing guitar upside down on his back during that song!), "Jeans On", and of course my FAVORITE take-your-cat-and-leave-my-sweater-song "YOU'LL THINK OF ME"

Then it started to rain like really REALLY hard, so like half the people left, so we moved a little closer to the stage. Then he sang "Somebody Like You"

And it was awesome! Then he came back and sang my favorite-Favorite-FAVORITEST Keith song "Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me" and I jammed! In the wet. And the rain. Cause I LOVE KEITH! Then he ended it up with "These Are the Days" (which the end part turns into "Days Go By"... tricky, eh?) and it was the best concert ever. Dancin in the rain to Keith! What fun!
Not only did I get awesome pics, I got two Keith Urban TShirts and me and Kristen got matching monkey-with-guitar keychains. By the end of the concert my aunt was OBSESSED wit Keith Urban. I told her it was gunna be one of the best concerts she's ever seen - and she loved it. Even though this was the best concert yet - we'll still going to see him again on July 21st @ Country Thunder! Yaaaaaaaay! More Keith! And hopefully next year, I'll get those FRONT ROW tickets for Keith at Rockford, and it'll really be awesome!
Days Go By - I Can Feel 'Em Flying Like a Hand Out the Window In the Wind
- Friday, June 24, 2005 | 09:59 p.m. -
Oh shit. I'm so effing excited!
KEITH URBAN IN 20 HOURS!
Ohhhh, its gunna be AWESOME! Aunt Jeanette is driving me & Kristen up to Rockford for the concert. I called the box office today "just in case" for the, like, third time to make sure that I can still get tickets tomorrow. The guy said that the concert is 'expected to sell out' so I just bought the tix over the phone. Hell yeah! KEITH! Yaaaaaaaaaaay!
Yesterday was AwEsOmE (I HATE when peope type like that...). I really did nothing except babysit the whole day, then I talked to Maggie and she decided that it was a good idea to go to the Orland Park Mall. Why the hell not? So we went on over there for 1/2 an hour and took extreme advantage of Victoria's Secret Semi-Annual Sale. Yay for new panties!
Then after we hung out at her house and finally had our Mean Girls party that we've been meaning to have for like 8,578,475,092 years! That many. And who dosn't like eating cookie dough, too? I dunno, but alls I can say is that Glenn Cocoa rocks my world. I'd give him 4 candy canes.
Today I went to Edwards out in Bolingbrook (the fuck?) for a sports physical. Then I went babysitting and sat on my ass for the rest of the day calling people and reading the Kite Runner so I can get the damn thing over with. And watch CMT. Mmmmm... Keith Urban videos. But whats better than watching Keith Urban videos? SEEING HIM LIVE! Yaaaaay! Anyway, I should get some downloading done before bed time, and next tiem I update I have AWESOME pix from the concert. I'm out.
I'm Ready To Fall, And That's OK
- Tuesday, June 21, 2005 | 04:23 p.m. -
So much shopping lately, I love it. Yesterday me and my mom went to OakBrook for something for me to wear to my senior portraits (that were today!!!) and I finaly ofund a cute shirt at Express. Then later I went to Kristen's and we finished up Drop Dead Gorgeous which is probably my favorite movie of all time. I want a big bag of little donuts! Heh. Then Lindsey came and we played Mario Kart for a while. I won the battle. Yaaaaay for battles!
Ok, so then today was my day off. Hurrah! I woke up early for my pictures in the mysterious "Flamingo Room" at Benet which totally does not exist. But I found it, and they made me do all these wierd-ass poses that I didn't want. He's like, "OK, lean this way and put your arm here and turn your head like that... Yesssssss." So fucking hilar. I was laughing my ass off the whole time. I think they turned out OK, but ya never know.
Then I convinced my mo to take me to the 'Holy Place' aka Olive Garden for lunch. Everytime I go there I always remind myself why that is my favorite restaurant: pasta fajouli soup. Mmmmmmmm. Heaven. Then we went to Yorktown to shop a little, and then it was time for home. Good day.
Ohhhhhh man! This weekedn is gunna kick ALL SORTS OF ASS! First of all, the highlight of my weekend:
I'm going to see KEITH URBAN on Saturday!
I'm like freaking out just thinking about it. Oh, its going to be so good! Me and Kristen are going Sat. (and again in July) to see Keith, and it will be AMAZING. I'm going to take so many pictures. He's so gorgeous. I love Keith! :)
Later me and Ashley are going to see Crash, cause the chinese dude from LOST is in it, and I wanna see if he really knows how to speak English. Actually, I know he does, I just wanna see the damn movie. That made no sense. I'm out.
Shootin Out Lights, Running Down Dreams, Figuring Out Just What Love Really Means
- Sunday, June 19, 2005 | 06:20 p.m. -
What an awesome day! I awoke to the country countdown on the radio, and it was co-hosted by Keith Urban. Heeeee, that means that I got to hear his sexy SEXY accent. Anyway, he was talking about his new tour, and how it was going to be in Rockford next weekend and then that reminded me THAT KEITH IS GOING TO BE IN ROCKFORD NEXT WEEKEND!!!! So I convinced my mom to take me and a friend to go see him next Saturday in return for me not buying that new iPod I wanted. Hey - seeing Keith, it's worth it. *Squeal!*
OK, then we decided to go shopping at Woodfield. I really love that place. I got all kinds of new cute clothes. I got a shirt at Abercrombie, a terry cloth strapless dress, a tank top and another dress @ H&M, a pair of Calvin Klein Jeans, a pair of Mavi Jeans as well, and some really cute earrings from Nordstroms. I love having a lot of money to spend. So long story short we did 6 hours of ahopping and now my legs REALLY hurt.
Ew. Since when has BCBG turned into complete ugly-ass shit? They have the crappiest things imaginable. I thought they were supposed to be cute and fashion-y, but all of their clothes look soooooo ratty. I mean, people actually buy that shit? Hell, I wouldn't wear some of those clothes in public it if they paid me to.
Oh, the other night was lots of fun. Linds, Kristen, Dan, and Allie came over and we played DDR, Catch Phrase, ate cheesecake, and watched really funny videos of fat people dancing. Why the hell not?
Awwww SHIT! BSB's coming to town. Can I get a ^ ^
Mmmmm... well, now my mom's gunna take me for some Italian food (yay!) cause Jack and my dad are in Canada for the week, I'm out.
The First Three Letters of Giraffe: G - I - R... Wait...
- Wednesday, June 15, 2005 | 07:33 p.m. -
Meh. Low-key day. I sat around and watched CMT all day until 4, then I babysat for a little. 2 and a half fucking hours, and only $18. What the shit is that? I feel gyped. Adn then I have to babysit for them tomorrow as well. They better pay me more...
So I made a compromise with my mom. She REALLY wants me to put my money in the bank, and I wanna keep it out to buy a color iPod. So I convinced her to let me get the iPod this weekend, and then put the rest of my money away. Everyone wins! And I can download more. Yay.
Oh man, last night was SO MUCH FUN. So after babysitting me, Lindsey, Kristen, Kath, and Allie decided we want to go mini-golfing. So we went to the place and we held up a lot of people. I got the green ball, yay! Ok, anyway, then we played a lot of golf, and I DIDN'T LOSE! But Lindsey did, and so it was funny. Cause I beat her by one stroke. Heh. Then after we wanted to go get some ice cream, so we did. Then we went back to Linds's for a little CATCH PHRASE action. Wow. This was definitly the BEST time ever. We were so good... except Lindsey.
Me: "Ok, its not breakfast or lunch, but..."
Lindsey: "Sedar!"
Lindsey: "You put this over your head and you can still breathe!"
Kath: "Um... a paper bag?"
Linds: "How'd you get that?!?"
Lindsey: "OOoooh, whats the 1st 3 letters of giraffe?"
Me & Kath: "G-I-R"
Linds: "No! Its G-I-F... oh wait a second..."
Woooooooow. Good times. And we got some REALLY strange words that came up in the 'Everything' category like:
cabin boy
here comes the bus
SINBAD (?!?)
They were sooo funny. What the hell was Sinbad doing in there? No one's heard form him since like 1997. Shit. Kristen's words were always somehow religious. Each time she got the CP passed to her they were always like,
Cross
Moses
Israel
And she got a whole bunch more bibilical ones too. It was awesome. I love CP!
I Wanna Steal Your Attention Like a Bad Outlaw

Ew. Monday. At least theres notsuck thing as aschool anymore! yaaaaay
Saturday. Woke up early for the damn ACT. Fortunately, I think I did a bit better on the science part. Then afterwards, me, allie, kevin, kristen and allie went on over to Culvers. After that my mom informed me that I was going up to Wisconsin with her, and I was pissed. To me its pointless to go up for 24 hours, but, hey, what do I know? I kayak-ed again. Its REAL fun. Sunday, me and Jack and my dad went down to the "rock" this thing at the deepest part of the lake. I got real sunburnt on mt nose and shoulders :(
Um, today I babysat for 3 hours and then later I'm going to Hobby Lobby with my mommy for who knows what. I want a canvass because I'm making a portrait in my room. Still don't know what I want to paint, but I'll think about it. I love Cracker Barrel, and I need to eat my peppermint. I'm out.
Syphalis = VICTORY
- Friday, June 10, 2005 | 01:39 p.m. -
Wednesday felt like the first REAL day of summer. AFter babysitting for 8 hours (!!) Me, Linds, Kath, and Kristen went for Chinese food, and then we went back to Kath's pool. It was sooooo fun. Ok, we played telephone (ya know, the game where you whisper things to other people) UNDERWATER. OK, heres what we came up with:
Underwater Telephone:
Birdhouse = Fuck you
Syphalis = Victory
Chipmunk = shitzu = sinsun (?) = thong
(our best effort!) Keith Urban = Keith Urban = E is for Elephant = E is for Elephant
Garbage = Starbucks = Spermegg
Becky = baked beans = big boobs
Turkey = turkey = tofu
Duck = bookbag (the fuck?) = baseball
Shooting star = Freedom row = oodle-allie
DVD = Woooooo Wooooooo = EIEIO
Bungeejumping = basil tray (?)
The Sabbath = The Sabbath = El Sabbath
All righty - now guess who screwed up all of them? Any guesses. Lindsey perhaps? Wow. She was totally the worst. How do you get bookbag from DUCK?!? And victory from syphalis? Duuuuude. Anyway, it was the funnest night in a long time.
Yesterday I had my day off. So me and my mommy went shopping at Fox Valley and I didn't see anything I liked at all! Then I went shopping by myself later at Yorktown and I still didn't see anything. What is the world coming to?!?!?
But then today I also went shopping again, and I got a really cute dress and flipflops from Old Navy, and my mom said that she'd buy them for me if I wear them to Lexi's barBQ, which I can't some until 5. Cause I have to babysit form 2-5.
hahahahaaaaa. So I ordered Keith Urban's first self-titled CD from 1991 on Amazon. Its so ghetto they don't even sell them in the United States, so I got it imported from Australia. Wow. I know people things its creepy when I say older guys are hot, but if you look at the pictures of Keith from 15 years ago - and then the ones from now, I think you'd ALL agree with me that he looks better when he's older. A LOT better! See:

Awww shit. Yep, thats a peace-sign necklace he's got goin on there. But don't you just love how he rocks the hell outta that sleeve-less lesbian vest? Who else could do that, c'mon...

Aaaahhhh, much better now. See? He's so much more attractive when he's older. Point proven. And now I'm just gunna stare that picture for a while.
Yeah, so anyway, time for Kelly to go babysitting and then off to Lexi's. I'm out.
I Am the Rollerskating Queen!!
- Sunday, June 5, 2005 | 12:36 a.m. -
I like this whole staying up late thing. This could work.
So, I got back from downtown Naperville like an hour ago. Me and Ashley went to go see David Sedaris. Ohhhh man, he was SO FUNNY! I was laughing the whole time. Ashley's gunna let me borrow his books next time I see her. Awesome. Haha. Ashley bought his new book and he autographed it: "We are all so proud of you. ~David Sedaris" Hahahaha. They've never met. Who's all proud of her? He's a funny man. His stories were so funny too.
After the book thing, we met up with Kristen and Linds and Dan and we got Jamba Juice for like 10 minutes. Then we all departed and I rode home with Linds and told her of my escapades with babysitting and life. Funny girl, that one. Snacks are gay. Orange juice raped my father. Heh.
Tomorrow, I think I'm babysitting at 11:30 - 2, to get $30 for the movies. I think me and Ashley are gunna see the Upside of Anger. I already saw it, but it was really good and, what the hell, its only $2 at LaGrange. And I wanna see Sahara, too. Mmmmm... Matthew McConeghy (yeah, I'm not even gunna try to spell that right...). He's southern, ya know. Heehehehee. Yeah, not much else to say. I'm out.
With Both Eyes Closed
- Saturday, June 4, 2005 | 04:58 p.m. -
Shit. So I just got back from babysitting for this 11 YEAR OLD KID. He's a mute, I swear.
"Hey, Billy, wanna go the the pool?"
Blank Stare "no."
"How about bowling?
Blank Stare "no."
"Mini Golf?"
Blank Stare "no."
"Then what DO you want to do?"
Blank Stare "could you make me a sandwich while i read my book?"
"Dude... whatever."
I think my brain just REGRESSED from babysiting for him. He did nothing the whole time. And who dosn't like mini golf?!?
At least I got moneys.
Um, Thursday we all went to Kaths. Fun. Then yesterday me and Ashley and Joc went to see the Sisterhood of the Pants movie. It was fricken depressing!
Oh yay, we got Coldplay tickets! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
Anyway, I'm going to Anderson's Bookstore to see Dave Sedaris (?) for a reading and then going to Noodles with Ashley. I'm out.
Oh yeah, my new screenname is KellyUrbanass. Haha. Get it? You probably don't. IM me anyway.
So You Sailed Away Into a Grey Sky Morning
- Wednesday, June 1, 2005 | 07:18 p.m. -
Aw man, last final tomorrow. THANK GOD! Its history, so I should really be studying my ass off right about now, rather than on the computer typing away. I'm babysitting, and I usually put the kids to bed at 8, but the parents out 2 of them to bed when I got here, and I put one to bed like 5 minutes ago. Sweeeeeeet. And I get money for this, seriously... Its an awesome deal.
So I just had in "interview" with another family for babysitting and I REEEEEALLLLY hope they hire me, cause they's need me for 9 hours two or three times week, and I would make $100 a day. Shit. The girl seemed to like me, so pray that I get that job! I need my new iPod!
Yeah, so tomorrow'll be fun. After history we're all going on over to Kath's to SWIM! YAaaaaaaaaaaay! And I'm gunna wear my HOT PINK AND ORANGE dress. It's friken awesome. And my cute stripey suit... or maybe the giraffe one? Who knows. Then NO MORE SCHOOL EVER! Ahahahahhaha! Yes.
Wow. I really should have studyied for the English final today. Actually, I probably should have looked at the study guide to know that the test was worth 300 points. Hmmm... I knew most of it, right? At least she gave us candy. Mmmm... candy. But then again, its Mrs. Wiedder, who knows what that woman put in the candy...
Ha. Butler's Spanish final was a joke. All scantron, which was SOOOOO easy, and the writing sections he gave us in advance. It was a joke. No kidding. I had over 45 minutes after I finished the test, so I drew Rachel Bloom a insane picture and talked with Colleen and Elise the rest of class IN ENGLISH CAUSE THERES NO FUCKING THING HE COULD DO IF WE DID. Humph. At least I know I got an A.
AWWWWW SHIT! I checked the country charts, and guess what?
KEITH IS NUMBER 1 THIS WEEK!!
Awwwwww, I couldn't believe it. That thing flew up the charts. I did a "Keith Urban #1 Song" dance. I'm really glad no one was home to witness that. Awww... "Making Memories of Us" How sweet.
OK, has anyone ever heard of the song "Best I Ever Had" by Vertical Horizon? I have no idea if that song's a cover or if it was really popular or what... but I was downloading random new country music (cause I can with my pimpin DSL) and there is this new song by Gary Allan, and it's called "Best I Ever Had" and I thought, "Oh... thats the name of my favorite Vertical Horizon song." So I downloaded it, AND ITS THE SAME SONG! Gary Allan did a cover of it, and even though I usually hate covers, the country version kicks all kinds of ass. Then again, anything country kicks ass, but I won't go there.
So, yeah, need to study, cause dude - Coach T's final's gunna be a bitch. I'm out.
Yeah, I Was In The Shit
- Tuesday, May 31, 2005 | 09:40 p.m. -
So, Tuesday...
OK, so finally my parents aren't home and I can sneak on the internet. Yayyyyyy for DfuckingSL! Hell yeah... Anyway, I just got back form Jack's graduation from 8th grade... Awwwww, our widdle baby's growing up so fast! And I saw a lot of grade school teachers and friends. Interesting.
Um, let's see, Friday we went to KAth's pool after our 1/2 day. The soccer team lost, and we went swimming. I think I already said that. Um, anyway, after that I left off for Wisconsin and I got REAL sick with some cold or whatever and I was a bitch and made my mo drive be back to my bed on Sunday at 1AM. Then I "studied" for the rest of the weekend.
Today I woke up at 8!!! And then my mommy made me waffels and I went to school and hung with Alex and Erica til the bell rang then I went to Religion and then Math for the finals. And then I went home. And then I downloaded 73 Damien Jurado songs cause I CAN WITH MY AWESOME ASS DSL! And now I have, like, no room left on my iPod and I think I'm gunna get the new 30G Picture iPod cause I want one REAL bad and I can give the little one to my bro. Sounds good. Anyway, the parents are gunna be home soon, and I need to download my ass off while I still can. I'm out.
SHUT THE SHIT UP!
- Monday, May 30, 2005 | 05:33 p.m. -
AWWWW SHIT! I just connected my DSL. That bitch is FASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSST! In the time it took to type this I downloaded 3 fucking songs! I'm king of the world!
I Got No Money in My Pockets, I Got a Hole in My Jeans
- Thursday, May 26, 2005 | 06:42 p.m. -
... I had a job and I lost it, but it won't get to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Keith! Yaaay! Today was the last full day of school. Tomorrow we have 15 minute classes, which is totally pointless, so we can see te girls soccer team play the semi-finals, or whatever. Then I think we're all going on over to Kath's pool. How fun.
Yeah, so Tuesday night I hearn on the radio, "We're giving away free Keith Urban tickets at COuntry Thunder tomorrow at the intersection of Ogden and Blackhawk." I was like, SHUT THE SHIT UP! So I got 10 FREE KEITH TICKETS for Country Thunder this summer and I am SO HAPPY! That just saved me $300!!! And I got a cool free US99 pen. Sweet.
So I just got back from Yorktown with Ashley. We went to get The Wallflowers tickets. We've been so excited for, like, weeks, planning on going. And we were at the counter and Ashley bought hers, and then she looked at the ticket and realized that it was 21 and older admission.
SHITFUCKWHORESBITCHSLUTSFUCKTHEFUCKINGFUCKERS!!!
OMG! I was sooooooooo mad. It said nothing about that on Ticketmaster.com either. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH! So then we had to return the tickets, and I got really mad, so I went shopping. *Sigh* Now I feel MUCH better. I got a really cute halter and a cute bakini from AE. And they were really cheap. And it made me realize how I need to get in shape for summer, cause dude... its not pretty.
Ew. I had to see The Bitch this morning.
AW SHIT! LOST and ALIAS finales last night?!?!?
(In the words of Hurley) DDDDDDDDDUUUUUUUUUUUUUDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDEEEE!!!!!!
Oh man, so much happened! Ok, LOST. Shit. Arzt gots blowned up, and Sawyer was REAL shiretless (yay!), except he had his hair in a ponytail. Ew. And Claire got her baby taken away by the crazy French chick. And Chairlie took the crack, and Sawyer was shirtless, and THE LITTLE BLACK BOY GOT TAKEN AWAY by these really creepy old preverted men who only "wanted the boy" when Sawyer was on the raft too. I'd take Sawyer and run. And Sawyer got shot again. Why does he always get shot? Thats twice this season. Dudes! And the hatch got opened and it was what we all expected: a ladder that leads to nowhere. And then it ended.
ALIAS was a freak show! Nadia was all evil and infected by the Tap Water of Doom, and she had awesome red eyes, and was REAL evil! And Wiess watched some balloon porn, whatever that meant, and OMG THE ENDING! Syd was all, "I love you." and Vaughn was all, "I love you too, but theres something I have to tell you before we get married" And Syd's all, "Duuuude? Tell me your not evil." And Vaughn's all "Uh... kinda." And Syd's all "The hell?" And Vaughn's all "Ok, dude, first of all my name is not really Michael Vaughn. And second of all..."
CRASH
This huge ass truck hits their car before WE GET TO KNOW THE FUCKING TRUTH. Is he bad? Is he Covenant? SD-6? KGB? Shit. I was aaaaangry. Vaughn's not Vaughn. Duuuuuuuude. But... And, huh? with the? and the... whaaaa? My LIFE IS A LIE! A HUGE LIEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Yeah, anyway I need to go and take this computer to Best Buy so we can get the DSL chip thing installed. I'm out.
Woke Up Early This Morning 'Roud 4 am With the Moon Shining Bright As Headlights on the Interstate
- Monday, May 23, 2005 | 08:54 p.m. -
Duuuudes! Yay I finaly get an update in between my hectic life. My parents took the computer away cause I was too "sassy" but then today I made up some bullshit about how I needed it to read some religion homework, and they gave it back, but I think they forgot to take it away. Anyway, I'm here babysitting and I've put the kids to bed and I gets my computer time. Yay.
Wow, I had a real long weekend. After school on Friday, me, Allie, Kath and Linds decided we were really hungry cause we only had a half day at school, so we needed to go to Portillos. Mmmm... But on the way me and Allie got lost and went to Aurora, but then we all decided to go to another Portillos. So whatever. After lunch, we all went to KAth's and decided it was a really good idea to all jump in her pool with out uniforms on. Well, we all jumped except for Lindsey... who we pushed. Heh.
Then later on Sarah came over and we watched Good Deal with Dave Lieberman (he's so CUTE!) and then we made a Jewel-run for some supplies and made my FAVORITEST Shepard's Pie. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Needless to say, it turned out REAL good. And then we watched Dodgeball "God Damn you BERNICE!" and by the time Sarah left it was 9:30 and time for sleepy Kelly go to go bed.
Saturday I awoke to a man putting in our new satalite TV thing. Aw shit! We get CMT now! Jeeeeeez. When the man left and I could safely watch the TV, the first thing that I did was turn on CMT and it was the beginning of the brand new Keith Urban video "Making Memories of Us." All I can say: It was a sign from God. Then I sat in front of the TV some more and watched Dave Leiberman and all my other Food Network shows.
Then my dad came home and we all headed on over to Grandma's for her garden party. It was intense! There were all the cousins there with chainsaws and electric hedge trimmers and BLADES of all sizes. It was terrifying. Trusting people who were drunk of their asses and giving them chainsaws. Dude. I just stayed with the hoe and hoed away.
Then I drove on over to Naperville and went over to Kriten's for a little Dance Party. Poor girl's on crutches, so we made the most of the situ. and used the crutches instead of feet. And then we sat on the ground and used our hands. We're really good at that - speacial talent. Then I got a call form Linds on my cell phone ("Shit. That things turned on? I was surprised when it rang... then YOU ANSWERED!") and she came over too. And we played Mario Kart (I dominated the battles) and watched SNL. Yay for Coldplay.
Then Sunday I just sat on my ass, watched CMT and read Lord of the Flies for like 5 fricken hours. I heard it was good - but it sucked. Bad. By that time it was time for me to go to bed. And then there's today. It sucked up until aftrer school when me and Allie, Linds and Kath decided that Starbucks was a really good idea. So we stayed there for an hour and a half. Mmmmm... Only 4 more days left plus finals. I'm so glad that I don't have to take summer school or any shit like that. Not again. Ever. So yeah, I've sucessfully raided the fridge, took the good stuff and now it's time for me to go downstairs and pretend like I'm studying so when they come home they think that I'm smart. Heh. Works everytime. I'm out.
Where Have all the Cowboys Gone?
- Saturday, May 14, 2005 | 07:32p.m. -
Today was such a lazy day. It's 7:30 PM, and I'm still in my PJs. I didn't even step outside today. Its nice in the house. All I did all day was watch Food Network (Dave Lieberman!) and play DDR for an hour and take two naps. And now I'm getting sleepy for a third. I stayed up til 3 last night being on-line and fixing my site. And then I did a little more fixing today too. And I also played poker for 2 hours. God, I'm bored. No one's online. Shit, where is everyone today?
Maybe I'll play guitar for a little. We're all doing a guitar homily for our religion video on Wednesday. That'll be interesting. I can play G real well, from playing "The One Chord Song" all the time. I've put my new Dierks Bentley CD on repeat, and I think this is the 5th time I've listened to it today. Its real good. Anyway, its naptime for Kelly. Or maybe I'll shower and call someone to go see Crash with me. But that requires getting out of my chair ...so maybe not. And by the time I shower and call, it'll be 8, and usually there are only movies at like 9-ish, not around 8. Shhiiiiitttttt, I'm bored.
All Up In The J-Lo

Today was super-awesome! Ok, so here goes:
I picked up Ashley and Lindsey at 3-ish, and then we went to Woodfield. We shopped for a long time and looked at all the pretty stores and it was so fun. I got this REAL cute Lucky Bathing Suit. It's soft and gray and it has these cute colorful stripes on it. Very cute. I was taking song request in the car cause I got my iPod hooked up through the casette adapter. Pretty sweet. We did lots of Keith, it was nice.
Then when we got done shopping we went to Sarah's casa and met up with her and Amanda. WE got pizza, cookies and the VH1 Country Channel (I'm TOTALLY obsessed!) and we saw ugly Rascal Flatts guy ("He got married to Scarlet Johanson!" -Linds, "Shut the fuck up, you're a compulsive liar." -Me, "Yeah..." -Linds) and then we all headed on over to Cinemark to see Monster-In-Law. OHHH MY GODDDD! Michael Vartan was absolutely SCRUMPTRULESCENT! It was amazing. He was funny and cute and FUCKING SHIRTLESS! Shit, I almost had a heart attack. It was sooooo good. The movie concept pretty much blew, but J-to-tha-L-O and Michael Vartan rocked it. Shirtless! Damn.
Then after the movie me and Cocoa played the crap-ass DDR they have at Cinemark, you have to step on the squares REAL hard, and they don't even work. Peice of shit. Then we went to Starbucks and it was yummy. Mmmmm... Frapiccino. That's all I have to say, and YAY cause it's only Friday. And tomorrow I can sleep in til 12:30 and watch Dave Lieberman. He's so cute. Then I drove Linds home and we did our jams: "Heartbreaker" and and J-Lo's "I'm Real" (unremixed). We're getting good at them, I won't lie. Then after I dropped Linds off I kept the JLo going and did a little "Waiting for Tonight" (DDr ain't got nothing on that song) and "Love Don't Cost a Thing" to keep myself in the Jlo mood. Anyway, long entry short, today was awesome, and I still got two more days to enjoy for this weekend. I'm out.
The World Is Cold But I DON't Care When You Have Flowers In Your Hair

I'm so glad I'm a Junior. No school today! Yaaaaay!
So I think the plan is that me, AShley, Sarah and Lindz are going to Woodfield to shop for a little while then gunna see Monster In Law. Heeee. Michael Vartan. He's so pretty!
Wow. Last night was a lot of fun. After school, me and Ashley and Cocoa went to Best Buy cause I had to return that peice of shit wireless adapter thing, and Ashley had to get her schedule. But then I totally forgot to bring the reciept with me, so then I had to go back home, and then go back. So my plan was to just return the peice of shit and get my $22 back. But then I was looking in the Country section, and I realized the new Dierks BEntley CD was out, so I grabbed it ( $9.99) Then I saw that Keith Anderson CD for $12.99 that looked really good so I picked it up, but then 5 minutes later I saw a sign for it that said it was only $7.99! and THEN I was looking at Tim McGraw and I saw one of his CD's for only $5.99!!! And all the tracks on it were REALLY good, so I got that one too. So I went to the checkout, and all my CD's (with a $4 gift card) was only $21!!!! Yaaay! I returned the peice of shit, got 3 awesome Cds and still got one dollar back. Fuck yeah.
So then I went home, put all my CDs into iTunes, and then took a little nap for 4 hours. Then it was 8, and I went to Shannon's for the fondue/OC party, and we didn't do either, but that was OK. So I drove to her house, and mentally I remembered directions... but I accidently went Kristen's was on Naper instead of Shannon's... So I got lost for a half hour. Then I almost ran out of gas, and it was a mess. But then I found Shannon's house, and me and her, Molly and MeganMiller went to a park to meet John Colavo (?) and it the parking lot of the park there was this other car there, and we looked closer and there were two people inside of it NOT DOING GOOD CHRISTIAN THINGS! So we honked and flasked our brights. Hee. That'll show them to bang in a car in a parking lot on a Thursday night.
Then we drove around to some Sophmmore's house, and we went to another park and rolled down the biggest hill I've ever seen! And it was soooo fun. I rolled like 57845432 times, and I was so dizzy I kept falling down everywhere. That was awesome.
Then we went back to Shannon's and watched Wicker Park and called some kid named Brit. Then it was time for Kelly to go home, so I listened to my new Dierks Bentley CD and it's the BEST CD I've heard in a long time. Every track is sooooo good. Yay for Dierks. So now I'm here eating my hashbrowns and maybe I'll go back to sleep. I'm out.
