Me + Sailboats = S I C K

OK, So Allie invited me to go see the downtown Air and Water Show from their boat. So Lauren picks me and Trish up, and we drive downtown and take a tender to their boat. So, about half an hour later, I'm not feelin so well. The oat meal and brocolli cheese soup breakfast was catching up to me. A couple minutes later, I'm "Feeding the fish".

So Allie says that I'll feel better if I go for a swim. So I go the bathroom of the boat, and guess what? I get sick again. Then I jump off the side of the boat into Lake Michigan, and I'm swimming and doing flips (stupid...) and then, uh-oh, I swim away from the boat and get sick in the water. Again. I felt soooooo gross.

Oh wait, there's more... So I get back on the boat, and throw up one more time off the side before Allie's dad thinks its a good idea to go back to the harbour. On the way I get sick ONCE AGAIN. That totals 5 times in like 3 hours. That must be some sot of record for me. Not that I'm counting, or anything.

Then we go to Pizzaria Due and have yummmmmy deep dish pizza, and now I feel all better. Aside from the seasick-ness it was really fun and now Trish is calling me 'Sailboat'. I had a good time, but I wouldn't do the boat part again. And I didn't even watch the Air and Water show. I think I heard some planes, but I was concentrating too hard on not getting sick again. And I have to swimat 8 tommorrow. Great... I'm out!!

Best day ever!!! Yay. OK, so I had to drive this morning with the instructor, and I did soooo good! I drove on 55th! And I didn't kill anyone! OK, so we go to pick up the two other girls I have to drive with. So I pull up to the house and out walk my two friends Kathleen and Meghan Barrett!!!! I havn't seen them for like 2 years when we usted to swim together. It was soooo awesome. I missed them much. And I drove very well-ly.

Then me and Lindsey went to the Clarendon Hills pool to relax. Every second I had to fight the urge to tell the kids to walk... hey, it's an impulse. And we saw Claire working there, and it was nice to see her too. Then we walked back to my house, and played around for a bit. We watched The Ketchup Song music video. Haha. Nice moves. Then we played Sims, and she left.

Noowwwwww I'm going over to Lexi's house to watch movies! Yay! I havn't seen Lexi for a long time since the party. And I havn't updated for a long time too... Thats OK!!!!! I'm in SUCH a good mood. Because all that nice stuff happened to me today, and it was my day off. I'm out!!

Awful day, completely awful. OK, so it's like 10:25 AM, and the phone rings. So I pick it up, "Hello?" "Yeah, Hi, Hinsdale Pool, uh, you're supposed to be at work now..." "Uh, I'm working second shift." "Nope, first." "Damn. K, I'll be ther in 5 minutes."
Day ruined. Enough said.
Well, at least we got the bird out of the house. Me and my mom were swinging it with a broom and a rug. It would have been pretty funny, actually, if it wasn't so... not funny. Oh, I had a good laugh at work today. So I was talking to this kid I was rotating next to, and we were talking about all the bugs at the pool, and he's like, "Yeah, once one of those flies landed on my leg, and instead of biting me, it pulled out one of my leg hairs. What would it want with a peice of leg hair anyway?" And I was totally cracking up, so I couldn't answer. *Sigh* that was gr8.
OH! Also, another funny happening. Ok, so this guy shows up, Speedo clad. And this wasn't a normal Speedo, it was soooo tiny, and he was literally bulging out of it (not that I was looking or anything...). Anyway, then I saw the kid again to rotate, he's like, "Oh, your boyfriend says the Speedo you bought him was too small." And I started laughing really hard, and I almost fell out of the chair. Well, it was funny at the time... It's one of those Have-To-Be-There moments...

AAA!! There's a bird in the house... And NOT my parakeet in the cage! Help me. My mom's asleep, whats do I do? Oh!!! It just flew into the window. Ick, I hope it's dead. Nope, I hear flapping. AAAAH! It's next to me.
How the hell did it get in? Thats really creepy, it's like 6:30 AM, and I'm freaked out. It's not moving, I'm going to go check...

Where'd it go? I checked upstairs, and my mom's door was closed, and it wasn't in my brother;'s room or the bathroom... Dude, if it's in my room, I'll die. Eeeew. It prob. has rabies. Can birds get rabies? HOLY CRAP! I just heard a loud banging noise... Ruffle of feathers. I think I'm going to go hide in my room now. Ooo, another BANG. BYE!!!!!!!!!!!

Awww. Just came back from seeing Freaky Friday with my mom. Nice little movie there. Yup. Well anyway, had a v. interesting day. Not. worked 9 - 5, like any standard American worker (yawn), and then my mom took me out for dinner and to the movies. Yay. And my brother and my dad went to Wisconsin.

Dear God! Last night, there were VERY strange kids at the pool. One pulled down his pants and ran behind the bushes. It was very creepy. And I had to yell a lot. And I showed Arielle the new super sexy dance moves in the bathroom, and the manager thought we were weird. Hahaha. Another inservice this morning. Damn them. And I'm wearing my new 4-inch heels, so I'm looking (all sorts of sexy) about 5 '' 7'!! Yay, tallness. Its very nice. Well, I'll update later, I'm out.

Well, not me (obviously), but I'm all proud of my self now. Mean people on the internet sent me Alias spoilers, and GUESS who didn't read them? (If you didn't guess me, then you've made this a really bad story.) That's right. Ms. Self-control over here. I just deleted them. But my computer DOES have a 'Recently Deleted' in-box-thingy... Hmmm... I wonder. *NO* *Bad Kelly!!!!!!!* Must not think such things. Must be relaxed and cool, and not break. Not give in to the pressure... so hard... must not... AAAAAGH! Haha JK, will be very good. Yay.

Wow. It's been a while. OK, let's recap. Slept over at Aunt's house, got hair cut (3 inches), went shopping-crazy ;) and swim lessons are over. Yay. Well, not much has happened in a week. I've worked 50 1/2 hours though. Wow. And, yesterday with my shopping-frenzy, I got the old Coldplay Cd, and the Norah Jones CD. They were impulse buys... No one can resist $9.99... I didn't mean to. And I think i'm going to be sick. In the past 15 hours, I've eaten a dozen eggs. 8 Deviled, 4 Hard broiled. Ick. Very ick. At least I cooked them, and I will not get salmonella.

Which, by the way, I got busted for eating all that cookie dough. Ooops. I didn't mean it, really. (Hee.) And swimming starts next week on Monday. *Groans* I don't wanna. At least I'll be all nice and tan (with the exception of very noticible tan-lines). But all will be well, and then school starts. Oh no. NOT fun. Well, I'll take it one day at a time, and I have to work tonight. Psh. TTYL.
