I love life. Life is good. Swimming-lees life is VERY GOOD. Everything about everyday since Sunday has been good. Good, good, good. And good. Today I went to tudor at Autumn Grove. All these cops were there "showing a fire safety video (which was scary and graphic, by the way)" and helping the kids with their homework. The one lady cop reminded me SOOOO much of Weigel from Reno!911 it was scary. She actually looked like her, except for the hair. Hmm...
Ohhhhhohoho, scandal on the swim team. The Bitch shows up to practice crying, people are quitting everywhere... The drama! Good, she deserves it. I only hope that the guy who hired her sees what she's done to our perfect unified swim team. Bitchwhore. She will pay. Muahahahaha!

I'm not even kidding. It's not even the worst country song ever - its the worst SONG ever. It's sooo bad. Pathetic? Check. Stupid? Check. Sappy? Check. About the color of two people's shirts? Check. About rabid weasels? Well, I bet if there were a secret 4th verse, that's be in there too.
Ok, so it starts off with a girl talking on the phone to one of her friends, and she talks throughout the song (I put her voice in pink italics). And she's telling a story of how some guy's trying to pick her up. Ok, just read the damn lyrics...
What We're Going To Do About It
By: Tommy Shane Steiner
Okay, picture this: I’m standing in the world’s longest line
at Starbuck’s. You know the one down on… yeah, exactly – that
one. Okay. Anyway, I’m standing there, half asleep, of course
– no make-up on, and this guy that I have never seen before taps
me on the shoulder. So I turn around and he says…
Did you know there’s thirty-five Starbuck’s
And three million people in Atlanta
The odds of you and me being in the very same line are staggering
Is it coincidence or is there a power bigger than you and me
That made us both crave a three-dollar cup of coffee
How lame is that? And that’s not the end of it.
Before I could say anything, he goes…
Hey, hey, hey, tell me can you feel it
It’s filling up the room, there’s something going on
See that little speaker in the ceiling
Listen real close -- it’s playing our song
Looks like fate has finally found us
It’s got us surrounded
So tell me what we’re gonna do about it
He started singing! There’s some strange guy in Starbuck’s
singing to me in line. Everybody’s staring. I was so
embarrassed and I’m thinking, “Who is this freak?”
I know what you’re thinking
You’re thinking man this guy’s a total freak
You think the case I’m making for destiny is a little weak
Well your shirt is yellow, and my shirt is blue
And my favorite color is green
That’s pretty amazing if you know what I mean
Well, no, I don’t know what you mean. What does that mean??
Hey, hey, hey, tell me can you feel it
It’s filling up the room, there’s something going on
See that little speaker in the ceiling
Listen real close -- it’s playing our song
Looks like fate has finally found us
It’s got us surrounded
So tell me what we’re gonna do about it
Come on now you have to admit
We couldn’t have written a better script
What a great story to tell our kids
Hey, hey, hey, tell me can you feel it
It’s filling up the room, there’s something going on
See that little speaker in the ceiling
Listen real close -- it’s playing our song
Looks like fate has finally found us
It’s got us surrounded
So tell me what we’re gonna do about it
True story. I know. I couldn’t believe it either.
I have to go -- he’s gonna be here any minute.
No, I’m not kidding! Okay, I’ll call you later. Bye…

Oh, oh oh!! Guess what I did today? I WENT HOME AFTER SCHOOL! And, why, would you ask, would this be such a revelation? BACUSE SWIMMING'S OVER!!! YAAAAYAYAYAYAY! And it was so nice driving home when the sun's still out. Aaahhh...
So Conference yesterday sucked ass. I added time in everything... 3 seconds in my 200 IM, 1 second in my 100 fly, I went a 29 in my 50 free (ick), and I didn't even bother to go ask The Bitch what I got in my 100 Free. I just don't give a shit. And, I think, thats pretty much the concensus of the whole team. Not a whole lot of people dropped time yesterday at the meet, probablu cause the taper wasn't really a taper until the last 2 days. And a two day taper isn't gunna do much.
Oh, and The Bitch told me "GOOD JOB!" ... Me! Good job! Unbelievable. First of all, she hates me (I think its more like a love/hate thing [for her - i definitly HATE her]), second of all I gained time, and third - i've never heard a single positive word come out of her mouth. Ever. To anyone... except her freshmen lovers.
So today I drove home. Well, not right away. Me and Linz re-started our "Starbucks Monday's" tradition at the CH one. Mmmm... frappaccino's. So. Good. And we just sat and gossipped about every one. Yes, even you.
No homework, or 'homey-g' as my mom calls it. Thank Holy Buddah for everyday study hall. With Mr. Crosby... *shudders with pure delight* nd all my classes are going well. Probably cause we don't get a lot of homework. And by 'we' I mean 'I'... I had a point somewhere in there, I swear...
Bowling this Friday!!! Yaaaay! Finally, me and the team can start our complete domination of the Benet League one team at a time. It would be really exciting if we were good, but practice makes perfect. Almost. Except I hear we got some competition from the guys side. Thay're just silly boys... we can take them. Bring it, bitches. Bring it.
- Saturday, October 23, 2004 | 02:53 p.m. -
Yay. Practice is over and I never have to see The Bitch again... until tomorrow at Conference. Then I'm done for the season, what relief. So today me and my mom went downtown to the College Fair at Nevy Pier. There were, like 7543750437209542 colleges there. Really. I walked so far. Then my mommy bought me fudge. Mmmm...
I saw other Benet people there, too. The Tennessee schools seem really nice, Iowa too. The mom's really pushing Perdue now for some unforeseen reason. I think she dosn't really care where I go, as long as I get in somewhere. At least I got options.
Hey - there's a little blue peice of the Progresso soup label floating in my chicken noodle. Bastard. The funny part is, is that I'm too lazy to scoop it out with my spoon, and will probably end up eating it. I've eaten paper before... no harm done.
So today I'm probably going to (Hey - the smoke detector just went off...) Murray's party time to look for a cowboy hat for Halloween. Then, me and Ashley are going to go to see Taxi maybe, and a little Firdays after, yay! Chicken fingers!! Last night after the last practice we went to a pasta party, and I got lost on the way there. Bad Kelly... good thing I was driving underclassmen, cause they got me back on track. I'm so directionally-challenged! I hate it! Just cause I can't tell south from west and barely know the difference of left from right, dosn't mean I always have to get lost all the time... Why me?
Yup... the piece of blue paper is definitly not in the soup bowl anymore.
Well, it seems to be the time in the afternoon where I take my nap. So, I'll probably end up updating later on in the day, or even tomorrow, when the happiest day of my life is over. And swimming is done. And I will reclaim my life. I'm out.
- Thursday, October 21, 2004 | 07:51 p.m. -
I'm baaaaack! Jeez, it's been, like, 2 weeks. Oh wow, so much has gone on... I'll tell a little bit about it. Hmm, OK, I FINALLY saw Spellbound (the spelling bee documentary) and it was REAL funny! Oh small children with ADD... I'm in JV CONFERENCE, which means... *drum roll*
And then conference is on Sunday, and then I'm done. I'm almost sad its over. In the sense that I'll miss seeing everyone and complaining about The Bitch. Practice today was AMAZING! We swam like, 50 laps in 2 hours. And we had under-water dance parties, and it was a whole Lane Bonding experience. So fun. And The Bitch had absolutely NO control over us. She would start talking to us, and we'd go underwater and pretend we didn't hear. It's awesome cause no one's afraid of her anymore, now that the season's over, and there's nothing she can do about it. Hahahaha!
And tommorrow's Friday... pasta parties and Lost wating galore. Mmm... pasta. And then next week is Halloween! Yay! I'm thinking cowgirl with an eyepatch. Other suggestions(post them on the TagBoard on the right)??? And then my life will fall back into place again with Starbucks Mondays (maybe even 711 Fridays), and going to the movies every Saturday without having to worry about practice. Life is good.
The only thing I worry about is the grades. I figured out an approximation of my grades is its thisclose to making high hornors... but I still have another week to get them up. It should be allright anyway. I had a bitch of a history test today... it was essay. Ugh...
Well, my digital camera has proved veryuseful to me. I got pictures galore. I got a lot with my friends, and the seniors this year (school seniors, not my boyfriends...)And I even got a picture of The Bitch caught in a REAL compromising position. She's leaving the swim meet early... WITH HER GIGOLO-LOVER! And I got the evidence. I'll post it later. And Coach Malone came back, and all was well.
Well, I gotta get to studying and going to bed early... C ya.

Last night was the longest night of my life... Jeez! Ok, so after practice we all went to the Benet game at their new BU stadium... pretty fancy, eh? (Not really.) And I was freezing my metaphoric balls off! *Bad Kelly, leaving swearshirt in the car!! BAD!* So I cuddled under blankets and chewed straws. After that me, Kath, Linz, Kristen and others went to FRIDAYS!!! Yay! Chicken fingers of the Lord. Mmmm... it was nice and we saw *Jay-Z* our waiter guy that we had last time who verbally raped the shit out of us. And I screamed his name on accident, but he wasn't our server.
Then after Fridays, Kath needed a ride home. OK, I thought, it's harmless, it's so easy to get to her house, we won't get lost. So about 15 minutes later I notice that none of my surroundings are familiar... And that we're not on Maple. So it turns out that whist in the heat of the moment jammin to my country music, I must have forgot to turn onto Maple, and now we are on Naper blvd. So to make a 2 hour story short: We got REAL lost! We passed this one street, Beebe Street (We liked the name), 6 times (and then we cursed it)! And we had to stop at two gas stations to ask for directions. And one lady thought we were going to ZG and she got real excited. Anyway, I'm so glad that I wasn't alone in the car, because I always cry when I get lost. So it was happily ever after and Kath lent me money for gas on my way home. Yay!
Ew. We had weights this morning. We had to be at school from 6:55-8:15 just to do dryland. We didn't even get in the fucking water! And The Bitch loved it. Oh, speaking of The Bitch... I got the goods on her! I was taking pictures with my digital camera at the meet Thursday, and all of a sudden I see The Bitch grab her purse and SNEAK OUT THE BACK DOOR WITH HER BOYFRIEND!!! (I got it on camera... Blackmail!) That little a-fuck-g-fuck!!! We're not allowed to skip practice, but she can skip meets, and SHES THE COACH! Grrr... I had hoped she died. But then I saw her this morning. Oh, the disappointment.
Tonight's the swim team sleepover. I'm undecided as whether to spend the night or not... I'll bring stuffs just in case. I'm so excited, we're gunna play DDR and I'm bringing Drop Dead Gorgous. Yay! It will be so fun, and we're not gunna sleep. Speaking of which, I only got 4 hours last night, so I'm thinkin its nap time, I'm out.
- Wednesday, October 6, 2004 | 08:54 p.m. -
The Bitch yelled at me today. She beckoned me over with her boney finger, "Why did you miss the last two days?" Well, honest me was going to tell her the truth, but Coach T advised me beforehand to lie to her (You go Coach T!). So I told her I was studying for a two-day English test. Damn, I'm a good liar. No, not really. So then she just bitched at me for ditching previous study halls, and how I should have been catching up... blah blah blah, bitch bitch bitch. I don't really remember what she said, I was just focusing on trying not to look directly into her death stare.
So on the Coach T note... me and Linz went to talk to her about bowling after school, and the possibility that we would be able to bowl on Fridays if we left eraly for swim practice... She said to ask The Bitch. Nu-uh! I'd rather vomit all over that voluntarily talk to her. *Shudder* So then Coach T said that The Bitch would probably say no because we are 'repeated offenders' for ditching and that we were 'felons.' Then she started talking about how someone lost their keys in Ecuator, but I think she was talking to someone else... Hmm.
OK, on the topic of bowling. We need a team name by FRIDAY! So I looked online and here's what I got::
I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter (hah!)
We Got Balls
I don't know if anyone else will go for those. But, then again, we really can't think of anything else. I'm so excited for bowling! It's going to be awesome. We suck, but our goal is to NOT get in last place. I think we can do it. Anywho, Its past my bedtime, I'm out.
- Tuesday, October 5, 2004 | 07:58 p.m. -
Hee hee. What fun... ditching swim practice. Twice this week. I feel so evil. Evil in a VERY good way. Only two days of swimming this week (cause there's a meet Thursday)! Thats exciting. And I don't have a lot of homework tonight... so it's lokking like I'll hit the sheets at around 9. Mmmm... I love today.
Oh, by the way, whoever put that last message on my TagBoard... YOU'RE A FREAK! (Actually the first time I saw it, it scared the crap out of me. Yes, I'm that gullible...)
- Monday, October 4, 2004 | 05:11 p.m. -
Aah... What a lovely Monday evening. I'm snuggly in my blanket sipping hot soup by the computer at around 5. Oh, I know what you're thinking: But it's Monday - why aren't you swimming? Aaaahahahaha! Well, my friends, that's because instead of missing the most beloved (ick) swimming, I chose to get extra credit for history and go to see Alan Keyes speak at BU. And as I was walking out I saw the swimmers in the pool painfully swimming away. *Grins with pure evil*
And what's even better... tomorrow Barrack Obama is speaking. Same time, same place. Suck it, Bitch.
- Sunday, October 3, 2004 | 10:45 a.m. -
Its October... and I'm freezing my ass off! I swear, its never been this cold in Chicago ever! Why must it be this way??? But I am excited because its Sunday, and Sunday means no swimming. And what's even better is that we have only 4 WEEKS OF TORTURE LEFT! Yaaaaaay! Then I can stop complaining about The Bitch. All will be well. HaHAAA! My mom said that since Alan Keyes and Barrack Obama are speaking at BU tomorrow and Tuesday (And Coach T is giving extra-credit for going) I can miss practice. Thank God for the Senate...
My aunt is visiting from Canada. Ohh yeah, eh? Tee hee, it makes me giggle.
I feel so social this weekend. Friday after Torture Time, we all went to a pasta party and it was sooooo good. Then Lindsey and Krista and Kath came over and played with sunglasses and highlighters. And I think more happened, but I was really really REALLY tired...
Then yesterday I had a meet at Conant (Like Conan with a 'T') and I swimmed backstroke and I went REAL fast! But it was a ghetto pool cause it didn't have any blocks... and they didn't sell the loaves of bread like they did last year. Psh. But it was hilar cause the bus left us at Conant and they didn't drive us home, so The Bitch walked around the parking lot for a half hour, and we sat on the ground, and everyime she went around the building we went inside and bought baked goods. Jessie came on the bus with a HUGE plate of donuts, and The Bitch just glared.
Then I got home at 5:15 and napped. then I went out with Ashley and Jocelyn and Elliot and we went to see Shark Tale and then went out to Giordono's Mmm... then went back to Ashley's and watched some of Mean Girls. It was fun.
I learned how to make spit bubbles and blow them off my tongue!! I taught myself in Spanish class cause I sit in the back corner and he never watches anyway. Its a talent so few can do.
Yay! We finally formed a bowling team! I'm overcome with emotion! Good emotion... yeah. So its me, Allie, Kristen, Linz and Kath and I'm so excited! It starts next week, but I can't start until November. Oh well. We still need a name. I like "The Snorkel is With the Captain" (that one's a long one) or "Strange French Bedfellows" (Its from our history book...) So if you have any ideas, just post them on my TagBoard on the right. I'm out.
