We made it to IL unscathed. Piper was an excellent traveling companion... I couldn't have asked for better behavior from her. Our visit so far has been very nice. Lots of sleeping (I was down for 10 hours last night... I honestly can't remember the last time I slept that long!), good food (but not too much) and mellow times with T's parents. Tonight after Piper is in bed, T and I are hitting the town and having some drinks with friends. Should be a good time...

Another month half over without a single post. I guess regular blogging just isn't where I'm at, lately... although I sure am having fun reading everyone else's stuff.

What's new with us lately? Not much. Piper and I have both made new friends during the past two weeks, which is nice. I was sick last weekend... I'm mostly better now, but I still have the sniffles and am not as energetic as usual. Piper has been doing a bunch of insanely cute stuff, along with a bunch of incredibly annoying stuff, none of which I can remember right now. It has been cold here (in the 30s) and will probably start snowing any old day now. I'm so not ready for that. We're flying to IL this Saturday, where we will spend an entire week with T's folks. I'm a bit anxious about flying with Piper. We've done it before, and it went really smoothly, so I don't know what's worrying me exactly. We'll have the laptop and plenty of Elmo DVDs so we should be fine. But still... I'm anxious.
