'Cause it's been nice and sunny for two days in a ro~w!! Getting colder, too, but thassokay. It's about time it started feeling like winter.

Spent a long time just hanging out at Randol's yesterday. Not as much anime watching as I expected, but at least we got to watch some. Started with Vampire Hunter D, which caused much joking about all the drama and fanservice for the boys. Then we watched an ep. of Kodomo no Omocha, about half an episode of Cowboy Bepop (I wanna see more!), the first episode of Ranma subtitled (no dubs for us), the first episode of Urusei Yatsura, then two episodes of Ah My Goddess (Again, I wanna see more).^_^ Cowboy Bepop looks very fun and funny, Ah My Goddess looks really cute, and I've actually been rethinking my opinion of Ranma. Not the series, which I think is hilarious, but the character. Most people just write Ranma off as a jerk, but I'm wondering if his attitude is mostly a reaction to the people around him. Genma's no good, and Akane is quite the beeotch much of the time. That's not even including the situations he finds himself in. Hmmmmmmm...

Aside from watching stuff, Randol burned me a CD that has many fun things on it. I now have every single Evangelion song known to otaku, a few other mp3s, and some really fun anime music videos, including the one that prompted him to make me a CD when I indicated that I wanted it. It's a funny, cute, dance/concert music video to a song called "Mambleo" by a Canadian singer named Elissa. Very nice beat and sort of a latino sound. If anyone is interested, here's a link to a download page for the MV, complete with info about it for you to look at before you decide to download. Also, here's a link to the lyrics for the song. I'd link to an mp3 download page if I could but I couldn't find any at the moment with my particular search methods. If I do manage to find one I'll give information to those who wish for it. Though if you do decide to download the music video, I take no responsibilty for any bad reactions to the amount of craziness and "WTF!!" moments in it. >:)

Now to work on Christmas presents. After I find some actual food in this house.

Please ignore the hyper l'il munchkin
The one that made the last entry, that is.^^;;; Can I plead guilty to chocolate and PSoH overdose? For some reason I was very hyper that day...

Can't say much happened over the weekend. Just a lot of hanging out. Watched the Sonic movie yesterday while over at Li-chan's. I liked that the movie was funny and much more like the game than a cartoon. :) But it's not the kind of thing I'd buy and watch a lot. *shrugs* Anyway, it was fun hanging out.

Mou, I've been doing so much hanging out that I haven't gotten the last two gift stories I need to write done. >_< Okay, thassit. I'm cracking down and getting those things done. After I call Rosa and get ready to hang out watching anime at Randol's. Procrastination is such a wonderful thing. But if we end up watching anything aside from Slayers, Cowboy Bebop, or Ranma, I'm going to be upset. Mostly because those are the only anime he has that I really have any interest in seeing.

Ah, odd weather.
It's just been crazy lately, really! Kinda warm when I got home, then cold, then really warm again, now getting colder again...*rolls eyes* I'm not complaining about warmer weather than usual but I wouldn't mind it deciding whether or not to be warm or cold. Ah well. As the Whether Man in The Phantom Tollbooth said "It is better to know whether there will be weather than what the weather will be." Or something like that.

Not really that much has been going on. Went Christmas shopping, like I said. Sent my Tottori family their presents. I hope my otouto and imouto like what I got them. I got them actually useful stuff this year! ^_^ Yay me.

Harlequin came over for a bit yesterday and we decorated the Christmas tree. For some reason I like having my friends help decorate the family tree.*shrug* Haven't gotten to in a while, tho. We were really over here for her to pick up the first few volumes of the Pet Shop of Horrors manga she had lent me, but when I asked she said she'd help with the tree. That was after we giggled much over the manga. More on PSoH in a minute, since she lent me the rest of the series and I just finished reading it a few hours ago.

Anyone who tried to send me email yesterday or today, could you please resend it? My Hotmail account got spammail-bombed and got closed up due to too much space being taken up. *rolls eyes again* This is the second time this kind of thing has happened. I'm going to have to take my e-mail off this page if that's where the evil spammers are getting it from, unless someone cares to tell me how to set up an email link. Tonikaku, if anyone out there did send me something I'm afraid you'll need to resend. Gomennasai.^^;;;

I'm glad you're doing better. Sounds like you're doing everything you can. Hope the holidays are good to you otherwise and that you have a good visit with your family. ^_^

Hope the last bit of finals went well, UT. Have a good winter break. ^_^

Start Pet Shop of Horrors blogging
I like this series, really I do. Leon, D, and Chris are all great, as are the pets that play a big role. I especially like Tetchan and Tenchan(Thank you so much, Harl, for giving me more characters that run around in my head). But issallgood. And the artwork is preeee~ttyyyy. If I could draw like that I'd be in heaven. *needs to work on pictures she's been wanting to do, even though she really can't draw* My only problem is with the ending. I was told it was sad but hopeful, so I thought I'd like it, but it was just so different from the other wonderful, cute, happy-making other stories--well, for the most part; I'm not sure about some of them, like the demon devil bunny babies as me and Harlequin call them, being cute and happy making-- that it seemed to not fit well. I'll probably be fine with it later on, just right now it bugs me. Aside from that, I <3 the story, the main characters, all that. The author mixes the funny stuff and the serious stuff really well, and the individual stories lead into the backstory nicely, too. And I'll be damned if I don't think Leon and D make a cute couple.*g* I can't say I'm too fond of D's family, though I can understand their motives...
End PSoH blog

Oh, yeah, forgot to mention that I got to see X-Men:Evolution today for the first time in over a year. Christmas episode go~od. And know they've got most of my favorite characters on the show. Now if they'd only get Gambit in there, it'd be perfect. Not that it isn't just fine now.

And the randomness ends here.

Has it been a week already?
Seems it wasn't too long ago that I was getting ready to come back home. ;_; Sorry I haven't written in days. Hopefully not all of Winter Break will pass this quickly. I guess I've just been busy this week, going to doctors and things like that. Checkups gave me a clean bill of health, which is good. ^_^ Spent the past couple of days resting and trying to catch up with people, with mixed success. Still need to talk to Rosa, but that's about it. :) Considering the size and spread-outness of my group of amigos here, I think I'm doing okay.

Went Christmas shopping with Li-chan and Harlequin today. Three hours and all presents to buy bought, with the exception of those for my dear brother and Michelle. *wipes forehead* Me 'n Harlequin hung out at her place for a while afterwards, which was fun.

Well, must trot away to work on gift stories. One almost finished, two to go after that for friends here. Can I do it by the 25? I should hope so.

Home again, home again, jigitty jig...
Well, I'm back in Kentucky. For about a month. Cool. ^_^ I like seeing all my friends down here, and I like the holiday season. But I've been so busy I haven't been able to work on things. :( Hope I get it all done in time. I think I'll be able to. Just need to get to work. And go shopping. I need to have something to send to my otouto and imouto in Tottori. They deserve good Christmas presents. And I've just been getting an inkling lately to write to people that I've been out of touch with for a lo~ng time. Hmmmmm...Maa, I'll find some way to get it done. I have tomorrow off except for doctor appointments. Two of them. Oy. At least they're early in the day. I should be all done by about noon~1:00. Then I'm free. :) That means I sit at home working. Gift stories need to be done in two weeks deshou. And I still need ideas on what to write for the people that say "surprise me." O_o

Not that the last few days haven't been good. The drive home was okay. I'm getting better at interstate driving. And I've been hanging out with friends. Li-chan gave me my Christmas present early (Sankyuu, Li-chan!^_^ Hope finals were okay today) and I got to hang out with her and Harlequin yesterday. Laughing over doujinshi is fun. As is me and Harlequin watching Queer as Folk over at her house. Right after a program on prehistoric animals. -_-;;;;

Spent time with Melissa tonight. We went out with her mom and some of her other relatives to a sports bar and grill and watched some football. Not my usual activity, but it was fun and I got to see a friend. I feel bad for Michelle and Joe, tho. They dropped by just as I was leaving with Lissa-chan, wanting to know if I wanted to go to Collectibles Etc. (hereafter known as Bill's) with them. I feel bad telling them "no," but I already had plans. I do love it when people drop by randomly but it has it's drawbacks, as is shown in tonight's events.

You are most welcome.^^ Glad to help. And as you can see, I'm doing just fine here in most respects. Now if I could just get my mother to stay busy so she doesn't concentrate on me while she's got time off...

Happy Birthday to Mike!(buddy up at school) And Happy Hannukah to all ye of Jewish faith. :)

Randomness before going home
Well, finals are over. I'm all packed. Well, except for the conpyuutaa and printer. And I've got to say that I think this is the lightest I've ever packed for a sojourn home. ^_^ Unless, of course, my mom insists on making me bring more than one pair of shoes home^^;;;...Even if I prob'ly won't need them.

I hope that the grades come in sooner than they did last year. I want to know if I'm getting the grades I think I'll get, dangit! >_<

But I get to go ho~ome.^___^ And it's Christmastime to boot. ^_________^ I might not consider myself Christian anymore (what a shock that would be to the familia), but I've been brought up with Christmas and I like it. Now I must needs figure out things to get people on a short money supply...I'm already writing many of my Christmas presents. Or making them in some way. Hope some people don't mind if I use the old "12 Days of Christmas" thing and wait on some things until around January. Presents for people here at school can wait if they have to, which is a relief. I've got so much to work on that I have to do and that I want to do that getting a vacation job would pose a problem. Meep! O_o Crash course in time management skillz, here I come.

Ah well. It'll work out. And I won't be up here taking classes, which is VERY nice. Though really it's the homework that annoys me. :/ Class material is very interesting.

Please feel free to ignore the babbling, tired, college sophomore who must drive most of seven and a half hours tomorrow.

Mondays...
Sometimes they give me a "blah" feeling, sometimes they don't. Today was mostly good, with the exception of getting sidetracked quite a bit when I need to be finishing a story and editing stuff for Creative Writing. Oh, well, 'twill do that tomorrow. The story seems to be the type that will run away with me now that I've kind of gotten it started. :) ^_^ And I can study for my Classical Mythology exam tomorrow morning while my roomie sleeps. At least, so long as I don't get sidetracked again, which I don't plan on happening.

Ally McBeal tonight was funny, though wierd, as most of the episodes have been lately. John's back.^^ And he had some very nice things to say. He even had a bit of an attitude at the beginning of the episode. My favorite line? His response to someone saying that he was missed. "As I missed you. Everytime I opened my freezer and saw that bag of frozen peas". *lol* That's up there with "That's the problem with approaching people with honesty. Sometimes they respond with it." I wish I was taping these. I need a way to keep these lines fresh in my head.

I'm feeling quite a bit better. Thanks everyone who expressed concern and/or offered support in whatever way they could. ^_^ I'm going to get off that subject now, which is probably a good thing, since it's dominated most of my blogging lately.^^;;; Overconcentrating on something is typically bad.

Jaa, so iu koto de...
