Finally done with the play program. Actually finished yesterday, but it didn't really hit until today when I actually had nothing to do once my classes were over. Good thing too since I had a Harlem Renaissance midterm that nearly kicked my ass. I proceeded to kick the test right back. :) Hope I did okay.

So what do I do with my newfound free time? Not sleep, not watch T.V., not anything else like that. I went to the school library and checked out books of fairy tales. From what I believe is the Anthropology section.

I'm such a dork.

If anyone needs me, I'll be holed up over here poinging as I read various stories and learn all about lycanthropy.

*poing, poing, poing*

*imitates Sakura*Hoeeeee~!
It's the middle of the quarter already. Damn, it's going by almost too quickly. Wait, that's a good thing. I want it to be summer vacation time. It just seems like it shouldn't be the middle of sixth week already. :/ Sorry entries have been so sporadic, but I no longer have internet in my room due to cords causing issues. *mutters something unkind about the evil roommate that apparently has no respect for other peoples things* So I'm stuck with the computer labs.

Weekend was okay. Watched more Escaflowne, plus the last episodes of Cowboy Bebop and Trigun. ^___________^ Wanna watch more!! I'd even watch them dubbed, since the dubs for those series are so good.

Since I haven't put up test results in a long time:
i'm sakuma ryuichi na no da!
which member of nittle-grasper from gravitation are you? click here!
^________^ Though I guess that's not too surprising. I know I'm not that much like Touma, and I don't know anything about Noriko.

Bloop, Blorp, Splat
*chuckles* Old joke between Harl and Ash-chan. I think it describes how I'm feeling at the moment. Rather squishy and tired. When the weekend finally rolls around, I will have the following things accomplished:
--Consulting with Lori about various diseases I could run into in Japan.
--Getting the first round of the Japanese Encephalitis vaccination.
--Calling people about getting permission to take six months worth of my prescription meds to Japan with me.
--Completing the program for A Servant to Two Masters to the best of my ability.
--1.5 midterms. I count my presentation in Women and Godesses today as half a midterm.^^;;; The paper is due next Monday, and I have a Harlem Renaissance midterm next Wednesday.
--Regular schoolwork.

However, I have relatively new CDs that I can listen to this weekend as I work and I have drawings in progress, so I may feel like a splat on the ground somewhere, but I'm a HAPPY splat on the ground dammit. ^_^

Mmmmm...Weekend
We all love Fridays, yeswedo. I for one am happy that I have a weekend ahead of me and anime club tonight. :) More Escaflowne goodness. We're actually getting to the part I haven't seen before. ^_^ I also bugged the president of the club about maybe going to a convention next Spring. We missed it this year. It's in the Chicago area, though, so we should be able to make it there next year. ^________^

Aunt Linda is officially ready to be moved into a regular hospital room as soon as one opens up. *BIG sigh of relief* She's actually regained use of her right side somewhat, too. *cheers*

Spring Fling is tomorrow. Should be interesting. I didn't get to go last year since I was at a wedding, so 'twill be a new experience for me.

I liiiiiiiive!!
Just have been on major hiatus as I got a lot of stuff worked out. Still have a few things to deal with, but hopefully those will be taken care of without too much fuss. At the moment I am quite genki and loving it.

Aunt Linda is doing MUCH better. Awake and recognizing people. They hope to move her out of ICU tomorrow and into a regular room. She'll need physical therapy to help regain use of her right side, but that's small compared to what could have happened.

After much growling and threatening of beatings, I have subdued Adobe pagemaker so that it doesn't mess with me so much. I've done all that I can at the moment on the program for Servant, it's being looked over for stuff that needs to be worked on. *collapses in relief* I do enjoy being a Theatre Arts minor because of all the fun acting classes I get to take, but I'm considering trying to get all my production work done as quickly as I can so I can do other things. Like voice lessons. ^_^ Or music. Though I honestly need to make better use of my time.

We actually got to have an anime club meeting on Friday. Yaaaaay!! Escaflowne gooooood. We all had fun making comments and just having a good time. It was the biggest crowd that we've had there in a while. Must be the winter blues clearing up so people are actually coming out to have fun. I want to get the DVDs for this series, though, for all the fun extras. Apparently in Japan they did specials called Club Escaflowne where some of the seiyuu would get together and my gawd they are hilarious. In the one we started to watch Seki Tomokazu was playing host and talking with three other seiyuu about the series.

In other news, we've found something else that I can sleep through. Very late Saturday night/very early Sunday morning a huge group of drunken students streaked on the quad. Cops were called. Did Kei-chan wake up? No sirree. She heard about it from her roomie the next day. *pouts*

That ends today's randomness, thank you, please drive through.

Funfunfun on a Saturday
Well, except for the fact that my mom called this morning to say that my Aunt Linda has had a stroke and is currently in ICU. ;_; I hope she pulls through. There's a lot of "ifs".

I've been doing school-related stuff most of the day, but hey, at least I've got it done. And got in a nice walk when I went to Walgreens to get more passport photos. Would have stopped by the public library to get more books for my Women and Goddesses paper but decided it wasn't worth it. I'm going to check with the prof and see what she thinks of the books I managed to dig up in the school library. Man, I wish I had the chance to get a look at some of the folklore books they have there. Alas, I have no time. :(

No anime club last night AGAIN. >_< I wish our beloved president would actually manage to get the room reserved (apparently you can't reserve a room for the whole year at this place). I would like to watch some Escaflowne before the year is up. Not that watching some FarScape with him and others was bad or anything. I'd just appreciate it if we could find a place to watch anime in. And if he'd actually let me know when we don't have meetings.

Hmmmm...One of the guys I'm to be going to Japan with next year sent the whole crew a self-introduction email. Shall I send one as well, since he has been kind enough to give us all some information on himself? Maybe.

Off to continue being productive and take a look at Adobe Pagemaker, for I shall be using it to design the program for the play this quarter. This entry brought to you by Kei-chan having way too many things to do and deal with at one time.

We will, We Will, ROCK YOU!
Apologies to Freddy Mercury. Just seemed like a fun title for an entry made on a real "gay power" day. The National Day of Silence went really well up here. We had a lot of students on campus participate, though I didn't see that many people with stuff to show they were being silent. *shrugs* At any rate, at least I didn't have to worry about speaking up in class. >:) Went over to a rally at Western Michigan University for us college kids and kids from the high schools in the area. There was an 11-year-old there, too, from an elementary school. Dunno how he found out about the whole thing, but it was nice to see him there. Especially since a couple years ago I was babysitting a couple of boys not much older than he is now whose greatest insults were "faggot" or "gay". Might have been fun to stay longer, but I felt like getting home. It was a fun time, got to hear lots of peoples stories from what had happened over the day. It takes something like this to show how far we've come, but how far we have to go, too. [/cheesy stuff]

First orientation session for study abroad is tomorrow. Should be interesting.
