Must I reiterate that I was wearing a pillowcase for my Ayame costume? X3 I still find that incredibly amusing...anyways, I'm working on a REAL white undercoat(?) for my Ayame costume now. Go me.

Teehee! I'm getting fat. *pokes tummy* Gotta love the holidays...
Eep, haven't posted in so long! And I need to respond to e-mail! Oops. >_< Soon. But anyways, Christmas went fairly well. My family's on this gigantic "spend no money" thing this year, so naturally, the one who spent the most money on gifts was me because I'm the only one who didn't take it seriously ^^; so yeah. But I did get the Furuba DVD from my parents! =D And a cute leopard from my sister, and books about college from my cousin. So it was fun. And I got to watch all the DVD's my sister got for Christmas too. XD (CCS volume 9-10, and Lilo and Stitch. Whee!!) I also drew. A lot. So proud. I'm actually pleased with the direction my style is going! SHOCK!! My bodies are still horribly disproportionate, though. Blah. Oh well. I'll work on it. ^^;
BOUKENSHA BUUU!!! We haven't talked about it in a while, so I thought it had died. Glad it didn't!! XD Okay, let's get cracking on those webpages! And cosplay! And stuff! I'm off to Joann's tomorrow or the day after or something, I think... Oh, and do we have plans for January 1st? Eee, wanna see Phi!! And must unload gift! :P (And my mom knows about that Hero movie too! Dude. o_O But anyways, hope you get a chance to see LoTR or something!!)
XD You reminded me!! Christmas isn't Christmas without Daisuke and Ken! XD I have to go listen to them now. *snickers*
Merry Christmas everybody!!
-karura escaped vector calculus on Wednesday, December 25, 2002, 10:29 p.m.
Jen reminded me that I need to work on my website. ^^; So I did! Yay!! :P Mainly I got the links page up and uploaded a few new songs. For everyone who wanted it, the english version of Hikari, , aka Simple and Clean. Enjoy!! =D
And!! Went to see Two Towers last night with Sarah, Melissa, and Neil. Legolas!! *_* And I loved the Battle of Helm's Deep. Screw you, newspaper man. And Legolas IN the Battle of Helm's Deep! Even better! "Nineteen!" XD Gollum was disturbing, in more than one way. The Ents!! I loved the Ents! But I thought they decided to go to war before Treebeard found all the trees cut down near Isengard? And they pushed Shelob into the next movie! >_< And there were various other rearrangements. But oh well. It was a good movie anyway, and I really want to go see it again with Jen and my family. *_* ooohhh....
And I am this close to being finished with my Christmas shopping! (though I don't want to think about my wallet right now...) Almost there, almost there... Still have a few days left...
-karura escaped vector calculus on Sunday, December 22, 2002, 9:13 p.m.
;_; Just saw the end of FFX. Even though I knew basically what would happen (grr to spoilers), it STILL made me cry. waahhh. I love Tidus and Yuna. Fanart tomorrow while the satellite guy installs the digital recorder thingamajig. Yes.
In other news, I did much Christmas shopping today with Kix and Jen. It was pretty productive, if I might say so myself. I'd say, halfway done with buying presents for people. Though, umm, Kenji? I'm sorry. Your present is shipping late. ;_; Doh!! >_< Soo....I'll figure something out. ^^;
And meeting my darlings for pearl milk tea tomorrow!! XD At last!! And maybe cosplay gathering too! Yay, so many things to do! Too many things to do. o_O
-karura escaped vector calculus on Friday, December 20, 2002, 11:50 p.m.
Yay, my sinuses finally cleared up! =D (for now, anyways) I already feel like I can think more clearly! And thank you everyone who took the time to tell me you liked my comic~!! Happyhappy! I may get out of this slump yet! And to Timekeeper, who asked... I first sketch everything out on regular copier paper, then ink with really thin permanent pens (Sakura Microns do nicely XD), then I scan. Then I clean up the image in Photoshop and then color in Photoshop with an Intuous2 graphics tablet. If I didn't have the tablet I'd go insane. :P And yay for Furuba layouts!! XD (Though this layout is probably going to be retired soon. It's been around four months. ^^; I really loved it, though!! ;_; Oh well. Maybe a Kingdom Hearts layout, next. XD Or Yami. We'll see.)
Eee, so many things to do!! And I'm finally inspired enough to do them!! *_* First up is Christmas shopping. Going with Jen and Kix tomorrow!! XD Need to think about what to get some people. Hmph. You people don't like making it easy for me, do you? I'm also busy watching Hunter x Hunter... I'm on episode 31 now? Yes. Love that show. XD I also need to finish Kingdom Hearts and FFX soon!! (though thanks to A CERTAIN PERSON the entire ending of Kingdom Hearts is now spoiled for me. Hmph!! And FFX was spoiled for me a long time ago. This is what I get for finishing video games so slowly. >_<;) I also want to draw!! Lots! I need to work on our manga (it's getting there, it's getting there >_>), I want to work on my CGing skills (finally installed Painter on my laptop! Yay!), and....yeah. I...think that's it. Oh, we haven't decorated our tree yet!! o_O Umm....soon. Really. Oh, and more CG club meetings!! And I need to work on cosplay!! (I guess if the Yami group isn't working out, I'll cosplay Watari anyways. It's so fun I can't resist!! And comfortable, too. And I'll be pretty recognizable to fangirls on my own. XD) Yuffie!! I need to buy belts!! o_O Soon, soon... Want to have a cosply gathering over break, Kix? =D
So many fun things to do. XD Oh! And I got my grades for this semester: they're exactly what I expected them to be. General Chemistry, A. Engineering, B. Intermediate Calculus, B. Writing, A. 3.50 GPA. Not horrible, but not great, either. Oh well. Math has always been my worst subject; the only classes I've ever gotten B's on are math related. And as both my intro engineering course and my calculus course were very math-heavy, I'm not too disappointed in my performance. And as I won't have to take anything remotely related to calculus until general physics junior year... I don't think my GPA will go anywhere but up. Yay!! XD
And yay for Meimi!! Not only do things seem to be looking up (WAY up) for you, you're working on Bound, too!! That means I don't have to poke you/traumatize you into submission!! *pats Meimi's head* Good girl. And congrats with being done with standardized testing!! It's such a weight off your shoulders. Like, you think, HA!! Never again!! (unless you take the MCATs or something, but that's another story. >_>) And the musical, too!! When it rains, it pours. (In more than one context. >_<)
Speaking of the weather, it's actually sunny right now! O_O Egad! Blue sky, too! No hurricane in sight! Yay!! But it's supposed to return tomorrow. Darnit. And wah, I miss you!! Looks like you've been having an...interesting time. XD You have to tell me all about it next time I see you! Got it?! (I really hope I see you soon...) And I hope you have a fun time in Japan! And I guess I kinda know what you mean. I settled back into the same routine so quickly when I came back home that it was scary. o_O I'm coming to believe that being away from home during college is the most valuable thing my parents could have done for me... I've developed more in that last four months than my entire four years in high school. More in terms of self-awareness and confidence than anything else, but that's something I'm always lacked anyway. So it's kinda weird being back at home, as much as I love it. *_* Anyways. Time to draawww!! XD And maybe wrap presents. The tree looks lonely.
-karura escaped vector calculus on Wednesday, December 18, 2002, 03:26 p.m.
*blinks* Wow. My comic actually did end up on here. How cool! *does a happy dance impaired by (a) twisted ankle and (b) the stoner state that Nyquil imparts. wheeeee. Go Arcana! Despite this, I'm still feel like I'm in an artistic slump. Grr to all my friends who are better artists than me. :P *sigh* I wish I had more time to pursue art. I always feel like if I had/did put more time into it, I could be so much better than I am now. And even if I put time in now, I fell behind a long time ago. And I can't give up pursuing what is preventing me from progressing in art. And bah, cold medicine getting to my head. Time to stop angsting. It's never worth it.
-karura escaped vector calculus on Tuesday, December 17, 2002, 11:15 p.m.
The last 48 hours have been...interesting. Very. Let me give you a quick summary:
-Decided I wasn't going to get any more studying for finals done, so I went to bed and took 3 hours to get to sleep, no thanks to some weird noises outside(?) the dorm that sounded like a cross between a machine gun and a dying car. And drunk people who were finished with their finals already. Bastards.
-Woke up, went to chem final, did well.
-Ate lunch, refused to study for calculus final and read a Robin Hobb book instead.
-On way to calculus final, fell down slippery stairs. Because it was raining and I was using my left hand to hold my umbrella, and I was getting something out of my backpack with my other hand (yes, while I was walking down the wet stairs; you can laugh at my lack of common sense now) I wasn't able to catch myself with my hands. I therefore (a) twisted my ankle, (b) bruised my tailbone on the metal plating of the stairs, and (c) felt like an idiot.
-Then I went to my calculus final!! :D
-Come time for the calculus final to start, there was neither professor nor final present. The class freaked out and started getting giddy. Believe it or not, we were demanding that our final be brought to us so we could take the damn thing already and get it over with. o_O Nerds, all of us. Anyone else would've just waited 20 minutes and said, oops, no final! And leave. Us? We went to another teacher and said teacher realized that us not having a final was not a good thing, and fetched our final for us. By this time we were all nervous and out of sorts. (I was also dealing with the fact that I was sure my ankle was sprained and that my tushie hurt. A lot.) Anyways, it turns out my math teacher's wife had a baby. But he neglected to tell anyone else exactly when he'd be leaving. Lovely, lovely.
-Did pretty well on calc final anyhow, even though I was internally complaining about my butt to myself the entire time. At the very least, I think the final will maintain my grade at where it is (B >_<) which at this point, is good enough for me.
-Realized as I left the math final that I was free of math classes forever. I would have run and screamed and celebrated, but due to my recent injuries, I had to resort to hobbling about in glee instead. Quite a sight, I'm sure.
-Sold my engineering textbooks for $45. This is money that I will be very happy to spend. XD
-Packed. Complained to everyone in hearing distance about my tushie. Slowly came to the realization that I was free of schoolwork for more than three weeks. Became giddy and hyper.
-Went to see Harry Potter 2 with roomie, her guyfriend, and my friend down the hall. We liked!! Except the spiders. We did not like the spiders. We were like, "ARRGHH!! It's Jurassic Park with SPIDERS!!!" Our guyfriend laughed at us. He sucks.
-Wandered around looking for a place to eat dinner. It was like, 10:30 by now. And surprisingly for a Friday night, almost NOTHING was open... We finally found an Appleby's, which was cool, except I was wearing my Duke sweatshirt and the waiter was a total Carolina guy, so he was mocking me. Grr. :P Well, everyone knows Duke rocks at basketball anyway, so THERE!! I also did much moaning about my tush. XD
-Slept for exactly two hours. On my stomach, of course.
-Roommate drove me to airport. Surprisingly, my various connections/transfers went incredibly smoothly, even with my ankle (though I have now decided Washington Dulles sucks and I never want to end up there again, and that the Denver airport is my favorite in the whole wide world. Just so you know. The people movers might have something to do with it...) And in total, I got probably 2 hours of sleep total on the three plane rides. And I had two cups of tea and a cup of coffee. ^^;
-What sucked? You know the "hurricane" around SF Bay Area right now? Well! High winds + plane + trying to land = bad. We tried to descend into SJA twice. Both times, I felt so totally nauseated that I was seriously SWEATING in my effort to control my body. I do not get carsick or airsick. I love roller coasters and am not scared of heights. But this descent was so turbulent is seriously made me (and most of the rest of the passengers) want to throw up. I heard much crinkling of barf bags. :) So yeah, we tried to land twice. And both times, our pilot came this close to making a safe landing, but both times, we were rocking too much to risk it. And then, guess what? Guess what guess what guess what? We didn't have enough fuel to make another circle to try to land again!! So!! We had to detour all the way to Oakland airport to make a landing!! :D Oakland airport, people!! We got dropped off in frickin' Oakland airport! My parents and sister were at the SJ airport waiting for me. I was in Oakland with two pieces of luggage and a heavy backpack. I was not pleased. So anyways! They provided us shuttles back to SJA. There were four of us squashed in the back seat of a van. It was not a fun drive. Not at all.
-Got to SJA!! Three and a half hours after my expected arrival time! Finally hooked up with my parents and sister. It was good. They bought me pearl milk tea and donuts. They love me. :D
-Took a shower, talked with my family, and played KH. :D
So this means in the last 24 hours, I've gotten 4 hours of non-continuous sleep! Joy!! :D But anyways...despite all the specialness I've experienced lately, I'm still so psyched about being done with finals and at home and able to do all the things I've wanted to do for so long that it all doesn't really seem to matter. XD But I'm getting tired, so I better sleep. But I'm HOOMEEE!!! XD
-karura escaped vector calculus on Saturday, December 14, 2002, 10:20 p.m.
Taking a quick break from studying! And thank you, Mirae, Kenji, for your support!! *glomps* I love you! Whee, I'm going to see everybody (except Phi ;_;) so soon now!! When are you all coming back to NoCal? (I'll be back Saturday! If you wanted to know. :D) Ooh, must contact Jen... Ah, it's all just like old times again. Can't wait. XD
And I got your letter, Sachikoo!! I love Asian stationary. So cute. *_* And the sealing wax? Where in the world did you get it? I want some! XD I can't wait to see you and everyone again!! DEFINITELY pearl milk tea. XD And a fondue party! And we all have sooo much to catch up on. o_o
And I am majorly jealous of Phi's keyblade. :P I'm soo inspired to work on cosplay now...XD Good thing it's winter break soon! Must remember to pack all my costume materials when I go back to California...
Imouotoo~oo!! I'm almost home, no worries! And I have two more pages planned out! Hopefully I'll get some of it done on the plane. :D And I haven't asked you yet; what do YOU want for Christmas? (well, I guess I can wait until I get home, but...yeah.) Speaking of presents! I now have presents for three people, and have plans for another three! :D However, that does not cover nearly enough of my loved ones. So! Christmas wishes? Anyone?
Now! Back to studying chem and calc. I only persist because in a little more than twenty four hours, I'll never have to go to another math class again. XD
-karura escaped vector calculus on Thursday, December 12, 2002, 02:29 p.m.
My engineering final went well. Very well. I am very pleased with myself. I'm so pleased with myself it must be a sin. XD Seriously. I studied all the right things and I even checked over my work (and I HATE double-checking my work) and caught a rather egregious error. I am happy. Very very very happy. I might even be able to get an A in that class, if I'm very very lucky. o_O (considering that I thought less than a week ago that I was in danger of getting a C in that class, I think I'm very well off indeed. XD) So yes. One down, two to go. Ya~ttaaa~aaa!!
But math. Math is gross. Eww. If I ever see another surface integral again it'll be too soon. >_<
-karura escaped vector calculus on Tuesday, December 10, 2002, 04:23 p.m.
Holy shit. I'm finished studying for engineering. O_O Seriously. There's nothing more I can do. I've already gone through all the old tests at least twice each, I have all the formulas down cold (quick, Lisa, fourth order Runge-Kutta!!), and I finally remembered how to do matrices on my TI-89. I think I'll actually do well on this final. Wow. I'm impressed with myself, frankly. O_o Oh, and I'm feeling better, too! One more night of Nyquil and that should just about do it! Yay for getting better-ness! XD
Ne, don't worry about CD's and stuff, Kix; only do it if you have spare time! You have to study! *pokepoke* Or write papers, or whatever you're supposed to be doing. :P ...I permit doodling with minimal poking. And I just realized Phi is leaving for Japan REALLY really soon! >_< Argh!! You will have internet access, right? ....well, guess we can plan for the one day you will be here, anyways. >_< Argh. And Kenji? I know what I'm getting you now. So no big red stamp! And Saara? Good luck on fiinnallls!!! Good luck to everyone that has finals, actually... We're almost there, everybody!! *gasp*
Imouto, test page looks lovely! Once I get a few more pages done, we can make it public. Really loved your pic of Kenichi in the gallery, incidentally; it looked REALLY good. o_O It was very well-colored, and the eyes were very nice. Yaayy!! XD We're getting there. And the detail on the character pages...wow. You put a lot of thought into them. o_O (Maybe we shouldn't have the more minor characters on there until later, though... Probably add characters as we meet them.)
Anyways. Now I get to reward myself for finishing with engineering by studying math, instead!! Joy! >_<
-karura escaped vector calculus on Monday, December 9, 2002, 07:45 p.m.
I think...I've caught a cold. >_< During finals week, of course. This calls for Nyquil. Hopefully I'll get rid of this by the time my first final comes around...(Tuesday, Engineering. >_<)
I think I caught it from my roommate. ^^;
Have been studying fairly productively, surprisingly. About halfway done studying for chem (Friday), on the home stretch for engineering (Tuesday) and am almost halfway done for calc (Friday). Though if my cold gets worse, my productivity is almost certainly going to plummet. >_< Grr to colds. And I thought I had bundled up all nice and cozily when I went out into the snow, too! (5 layers, all long sleeved. You could pick me out of a crowd as being Californian. I must've looked like a frickin' eskimo. :P) Oh well. If I take care of myself well enough, it should be fine...
I probably won't blog much, or rather, I won't blog about much besides finals until Saturday or Sunday or so, so....right. I'm going to be rather boring the next week or so. Just to warn you. ^^; THOUGH! My roommate and I are going to see Harry Potter Friday night after our math finals~~!! XD Finally. >_< Thenn....HOME!! HOME HOME HOOMMEE!!! XD And Christmas shopping. ^^; At least I know what I'm going to get a few people...everyone else? MAKE WISH LISTS, DAMMIT! I made mine, so all of you have to make yours!!
And with that, I have many formulas to memorize. Good luck on all of your respective finals! And Kix? *pokes* Study~!! You're definitely not as screwed as I am. You don't have two math classes. :P And I'm sorry, Imoutoo!! Took so long to comment on the LH page you did... (I really like the screentones, incidentally! Though maybe change the font? Or at least make the color of the font and the lines the same; like, make the text dark grey instead of pure black... And go ahead and put in an LH folder, okay? :D) And YES!! I want Spiral song!! *hugs* And I have lots of anime you might like to watch, as soon as I get back home... I have all of Hunter x Hunter now, and I'm pretty sure you'll like Spiral, Dragon Drive too... Then there's Petite Princess Yucie. XD (That's a Gainax title, folks. And the show's just as cutesy as the title. Gainax has...branched out, a LOT. o_O) I'm sure you'll like that one. XD And maybe Princess Tutu. I have no clue; I haven't watched any of it yet. ^^; Oh!! Definitely Azumanga Daioh. ^0^ But I only have up to episode 12 right now. ...*has brainstorm* Wait! Kix~~! You have Azumanga Daioh, right? Can I borrow it when I get back hoommeee? Pweez? And Scryed, too while I'm at it. XD Eep, too much anime. And I haven't watched any of it yet. ^^; Heh. Oh, and Pitaten~! :D Koge Donbo goodness! Yes, we'll have plenty to watch while I'm home. More than enough. ^^; And I need to finish Kingdom Hearts and FFX, too! O_O *dies* So much to do while I'm hoommeee... That doesn't even take shopping into account. Grr. At least there's no studying involved, AT ALL!! HA! Not having finals after break just rocks. Well, if it weren't for the fact that I have finals this week, instead. >_<
Right. The formulas are waiting for me.
-karura escaped vector calculus on Sunday, December 8, 2002, 09:35 p.m.
My roomie and her guyfriend are watching Lion King. I am full of Chinese food and am being amazed by the animation of Keiiii's and Niko's collab piece at Oekaki Central. And I should be studying like mad. Instead, I'm going to take a shower and hope I'm in a studying mood afterwards.
Arcana is evil. PoT rules. (I love saying that. XD PoT=Prince of Tennis. So there.) AND! I updated my website!!! o_O I haven't done it for...MONTHS!! And I coded my entire fanart page! XD Welll....no comments. >_< But I figure actually getting the page up is enough. ^^; Links is next up. Cosplay...maybe later. >_<
The snow's all melted. That...was fast. o_O And don't walk under trees during thaws. That's my advice to you.
-karura escaped vector calculus on Friday, December 6, 2002, 09:09 p.m.
.......!!!! It's SNOWING!! SNOOOOW!!! O_O I've never actually seen it SNOW before!!! Yes, I'm a Californian, I admit it. The entire dorm is all craaazzyyy~~ Guys are singing Christmas songs, people are blasting Christmas music, people are running around outside rolling around and throwing snowballs at each other, my roomie and I have hung Christmas lights up all over our room, I'm taking photos and drinking hot chocolaa~aateee~~~ XD Lisa's in the Christmas spirit!! Now if only my fingers would thaw. O_<; Now, there's supposed to be an ice storm during the next 24 hours, so just see how happy I am about the snow TOMORROW when I have to get up and go to breakfast... >_<
Oh!! And I figured out some stuff for my Christmas list!! (thanks to Kenji's prompting. ^^; *huddles in boat with Phi; and you're welcome about your layout! I see Riku, no worries :P*) I think... Neopiko ink pens! For inking! :D Or any other type of really thin black pens, whatever. :P And...plushies!! XD Any plushies! Fuzzy soft stuffed animals OR UFO catcher dolls! XD I wub both! And....*ponders* I guess I would kinda like either a Hikaru no Go or a Spiral calendar... (<---Spiral ~Suiri no Kizuna~ is Lisa's new obsession. XD wait...hmm...(uploads pictures)
This is our hero, Ayumu. I wub him. This is our heroine, Hiyono, who I also love to death. I refer to her as stun gun girl, because...she owns a stungun. XD And is quite cheerful about it. And she's the most useful sidekick heroine since......... um. Ever. o_O This is Glasses Boy. Err, I mean, Kyosuke. He rocks. Just...LOOK at him! I mean, REALLY! LOOK at him. O_O *molests him* XD Bishie. BISHIE bishie. Voiced by Akira Ishida. And he plays the piano. And he looks good in a trenchcoat. What MORE could you ask for? o_O This is just cute. Especially since glasses boy is technically a villain. XD
And if you're wondering, Spiral is a mystery anime. It doesn't really suck you in until episode 3. Then you're a goner. XD) Aaaanyways. Wow, what a tangent. o_O Anyways, yes, if possible, I'd love a Spiral calendar. XD So, to summarize my wish list so far:
1.) Inking pens!
2.) Plushies/fuzzy stuffed animals
3.) Spiral/Hikago calendars
4.) Book store gift certificates
Yay! Kenji can't kick my @$$!! XD And Mirraaeee!! Christmas stress is RIGHT!! >_< MONEY! TIME! I have neither, and need both to get all my Christmas shopping done. GRR!! >_< ...oh well. I'll work it out. I hope. *hugs* BUT!! Yes, Kix, I'll be hooome for Christmas (starts singing, badly XD); I'm flying back on the 14th! So yes, let's do stuff!! Lots of stuff!! Maybe you want to come with Jen and I to go Christmas shopping? Or hang with her art buddies? :D (must draawwww!!!) And we can all kareoke and work on cosplay and drive to SF and have "CG" club meetings...wheeeee!! Christmas so fun to think about... Snow puts me in the Christmas spirit. XD And yay for noodles, Imouto!! XD (I'll answer your e-mail soon! I'm sorry!! ;_;)

Grr! I keep on forgetting to say this! >_< But I LOVE your new layout, Phi!! The coloring style is so soft, and so much like the illustration art for KH... Dude, if that was you having issues with Photoshop.... DUDE. *shakes head* I'm surrounded by such talented people...
I should start working on a Christmas wish list, huh? (is reminded by all the people ie Kenji telling Lisa to tell them what she wants^^;) Umm....hm. I dunno. I'll have to think about it, I guess. Err, if I don't think of anything in time, just get me posters for my dorm room! Or calenders! Hikaru no Go calendars preferred. ;P Hmm, or Fruits Basket. Or...okay, real wish list later. ^^; <---babbling Or just get me book store gift certificates!! I can always use book store gift certificates! And they're quick and easy, too! :D (especially since there's a truckload of hardcovers that I want to get in the coming months. >_<)
Conscience....bugging...me.........yes, conscience, I'll study now. (Lisa is in basement of library, logged onto computer.) lalalalaaa...

Eep! I'm alive! Really! I'll pita soon! I mean it! After I finish studying for my chemistry midterm. Yes, that would be good. Hope everyone had a lovely beautiful thanksgiving! (sounds like you all did. I'm happy. :D)
To amuse you until I post something real: my guest strip for the Arcana guest strip contest. Well I thought it was funny...
And if you cosplay FoR, Kenji, I will SO group cosplay with you. If you're doing Kurei, maybe Neon or Raiha...probably Raiha, considering...yeah. XD

Rikku's hair was even weirder than I thought. O_O Courtesy RPGamer...
And Kingdom Hearts Final Mix cover = SQUEEEE!!!!!111111 I need to finish that game, dammit. And I want to see the FFX-2 trailer that's gonna be on Final Mix, too!! (damn you, Square. Damn you.)
Yeah, my spazzing for the day. I have more stuff to post, but I'll have to do that later. I just had to share this right away. ^^;;

And are any of you the rest of you (mostly my fellow female cosplayers) interested in any of the socks/tights/knee socks here? Because I want to order my white Yuffie socks, and it would make sense to combine shipping with someone else, because the shipping would cost more than the socks. ^^;; So yeah! If interested, just leave a comment! :D
Lab. Right.
Added: and if Heidi is looking for a Wakaba wig, maybe this one would work? It's pretty cheap for a long wig, and the shipping isn't bad at all...yeah, I know, I know, homework. I had lots of tests today; can't I relax a bit? ...you know, I'm only making these excuses for myself. Why do I bother? I don't know.

My neighbors down the hall were petting me today. ^^;; Because my hair was so straight. They were like, "ooohhh!! sleeek!!" and yeah. It was funny. XD I told them that it was all thanks to my anti-frizz gel! (I love my mom and dad for giving that stuff to me. *_* So humid in North Carolina. It just zaps your hair...) I'm a one-woman advertising campaign, yes I am. XD
Okay, enough about my hair. (it's silky smooth~!) Test today. Yes. It was only about a third as bad as I thought it would be. :D Engineering test was good. I think I've assured myself at least a B in the class. (so I did manage to remember all the stuff I studied after all. fancy that.) Chem quiz: despite the fact that I didn't study for it, or stay awake during the lectures, I'm pretty sure I did decently. Good times. Thank you, brain, for actually retaining some of the crap from Chem AP. o_O But my math test was just as bad as I thought it would be. I'm not totally screwed, though. If I drop this test, with the other tests I have a, oh, low to middle B in the course; the final will be written by the other professors, who write much easier tests than mine. >_> So I think if I study, I'm cool. The fact that after this final I'll never have to take a math test again is a big motivator. XD
Thank you, Meimi, for your encouragement~!! I'm just fine, now; better than fine! Happyhappy, free~!! Until finals. But you'll get there eventually too, and then you'll be a second semester senior, and all will be right with the world!! (well, if your school's traditions are the same as mine. I know nothing about how Catholic schools work. ^^;;) And I'm so happy other people enjoy the stick figures, too! People understand me. *_* (one of my favorite scenes in the yami no matsuei manga is when oriya-stick-figure-with-long-hair is beating up muraki-stick-figure for trying to molest non-stick-figure tsuzuki, with distressed servant stick-figures sweatdropping and running after oriya-stick-figure. I should scan that. I adore it too much for words. XD)
Imouto~!! No, I wasn't listening to Enju's theme when I drew him, but I was thinking about it, a little. :P Ooh, and yes, draw all the elves in school uniforms!! soooo cute! Elena would probably be older high school or college, but Aurine is college or grad, soo...dunno. Maybe she should be a teacher too. It would match her personality. XD Anyways, I'll draw soon! Definitely over Thanksgiving! (and yeah, Enju's holding a cup. ^^;; I don't think he's a mirror sort of person. He's more a, "haha, what can I do to seem suavely evil!" sort of person. XD
Ohmigosh. O_O Just say the Final Mix website. !!! Ohmigosh!! *pants* SEPHIROTH!! And CLOUD!! Fighting!!! And they're both so HOT!! ;_; I will glomp on sight any KH Sephy or Cloud cosplayers I see. Just warning you all. ^^;; I guess it'd be sorta appropriate if I was in Yuffie? (I must work on that. XD I'm getting there. Need to buy belts.) Ooh, and the mysterious dark figure from the trailer. O_O So I guess it wasn't the leadup to KH2? Or maybe it was? Or...blah, what am I talking about. I haven't even finished 1 yet...
And someone save me from the travesty that is Rikku's clothing in FFX-2. >_< She makes Yuna look modest. I am therefore not looking forward to seeing what the third female party member is dressed like. >_< (Is it just going to be three people in the party, then? Does the website say anything about it? ...wait, Lisa, stop evincing interest in FFX-2! You're only allowing Square to win! ARGHHH!!!!! ...though I would like to know what the battle system is like.
Stupid Square.
*hugs Mirae*. Hey, at least there will be real people there soon to give you real hugs during Thanskgiving~!! :D I hope things work out. I'm afraid I have no good advice to give. ;_; Except...look for job? *pokepoke* I'll poke you if you don't! :P
Oh, and I figured out what was wrong with my CD burner. The power cable was plugged into the wall.....but not into the back of the CD burner. >_< hyuck hyuck. Boy did I feel stupid. Good thing no one was around to see that...OH!! And I was able to SERVE in tennis today!! Consistent aces!! XD Considering last week I was happy if I hit the ball anywhere near the service square...actually, that's how I work. I don't improve at what I'm working on for MONTHS, and then all of a sudden, it all snapped together and I'm pulling aces. o_O Same with art, and writing, and everything else I do; I improve in bounds, not steps. Makes me feel a little better for not improving in art lately. ^^;; heehee.
I'm tired, but I need to do my chem lab. Soo...guess I better. Darn. ...ooh, wait! THANKSGIVING CARE PACKAGE~!!! XD My parents put cappucino mocha mix in my care package~!! <3<3 Along with lotsa good ramen, pringles, granola bars, Star Wars Episode II DVD, and a Robin Hobb book from my bookshelf!! YAY!! I love my parents so much. They know just what I want. *_*
Homework now, if I don't get distracted by the Oekaki boards. ^^;;

I. Am. Screwed.
-karura escaped vector calculus on Monday, November 25, 2002, 12:09 a.m.
dude, I forgot! XD Melissa, Sachiko! Everyone else interested! There's a new Stephanie Plum book~!!! XD WHEEE!!! Called Visions of Sugar Plums. And yes, it's a holiday themed book. X3 Sooo, yeah. Maybe we can have a Stephanie Plum party when we're all back in town for Christmas. woohoo!!!
lisa goes back to panicking.
-karura escaped vector calculus on Sunday, November 24, 2002, 10:02 p.m.
i am going insane. or having a panic attack. one of the two. but anyways! I'm sorry for not responding to everyone lately; been very busy, and I think I'm getting an ulcer. >_< But yay for Saara and Elaine getting pitases!! XD Just Manda, Sarah, Prindi, and Christi to go and we've snared everyone!! XD And booo for Phi finishing Kingdom Hearts! You suck! :P And Melissa's love life is so cute it almost makes me want to have a boyfriend. Almost. XD Um, losing track of things... Hope you stay sane through college apps, Meimi!! And that is so f*cked up, Mirae. ;_; Your parents seriously could have told you earlier. And I'll work on LH over Thanksgiving, Imouto. ^^;; And I drew stuff!
How weird; I didn't even notice until now how similar their poses are. o_O
Anyways, explanations: first one is human form Kero from Card Captor Sakura offering Suppi (also human) ice cream. And we all know what happens when Suppi eats sweets. XD (okay, so maybe we don't all know. Suppi is highly allergic to sweets. And gets very drunk off them. Yes, drunk. It's hilarious. XD) That made no sense. Anyways, that was for Kix's bishie Suppi and Kero contest. XD Note the stick figure dog. I love the stick figure dog. Second one is...Enju~!! See, Imouto? I did draw LH-type stuff! Except...it sucks. >_< No background. Hands suck. I'm sorry, Enju. ;_;
I have an engineering test at 9:10 tomorrow and a calculus test at 10:30 and a chemistry quiz at 11:00 and even though I've been studying like hell ever since last Wednesday I'm still going to fail all of them very badly without exception, engineering because I can't remember anything that I've studied the last five days calculus because I always panic and forget everything I know and make careless mistakes when it comes to tests and chemistry because I've been too busy studying for math and engineering to even bother with chemistry and chemistry is easier for me to BS. >_< Still can't decide if it's a panic attack or I'm going insane. It's probably both. Writing this entry didn't settle me down at all, damn it. >_<

You may notice that I now have a commenting system on my pita. This is entirely because I'm a nerd, and I thought it would be cool. :P And I have no other way for ppl to contact me except my e-mail, and that's admittedly a lot more work. And...yeah. Nothing else. :P Except that I stole this idea from Kouri, whose blog I stalk. I need to give credit where it's due, you know. ^_^
Who hates vector calculus? I DO~!!!
-karura escaped vector calculus on Thursday, November 21, 2002, 07:38 p.m.
Archiveness! Because the weird size of the column was bugging me. >_<
And let this be the start of a new trend: me actually blogging substanceful things. (heehee, I'm making up words again! Like 'registrating'...yes, I really said that...) Okay. Yeah. To do: two tests and a quiz on Monday. Tackle my thrice-damned website and actually update/build it. Draw Love Hunters pages for sister. Attempt an Arcana guest strip. (Arcana is cool. *hearts* Sloane and Caine~!! And loved the Yami no Matsuei cosplay picture. XD) Um, yeah. What else? Draw something for Kix's contest. (XD) And so on and so on. (Note that everything following the "two tests and a quiz on Monday" is most likely wishful thinking. I can't wait until next semester and humanities courses. >_> Papers, I can do. No problem. Vector calculus? DIE!!! okay, later now. I'll miss you all so much Thanksgiving. ;_; Eat candied yams for me, please. (i love candied yams. especially with marshmallows in them! but they're so fattening....actually, I need to gain weight. Never mind. *stares at bony wrist and fingers and winces* The food here is so not doing it for me...)
