Okay. So I currently don't own hidden-currents.com. I'm going to try to switch over to hidden-currents.org ASAP, as I can't (won't, actually) renew hidden-currents.com at this point, because it would cost $170, because the name registration company are greedy bastards...but yeah. The files are there, I just don't have any way to link to them. >_< So for people like my sister who have files stored on hidden-currents.com...sorry? It's really my fault; I didn't realize my webhost doesn't renew domains automatically. >_< Damnit! So anyways, that means my pictures won't be inaccessible for the next few days, until I get the .org address registered and switch all my links. Of course, that means any old links to .com will be non-functional... Like all the links in my archives. >_< Maybe I can get .com again later. I dunno. I'm feeling grumpy and misanthropic right now.

PoT 64 has killed me. XD
"He ran away!"
"He loves to run!"
"Running for life!!!"
"OK, let's all run towards the setting sun!"
"Yeah!"
*the chibified cast runs to the conveniently setting sun*
XD Even if you don't watch Prince of Tennis, you have to watch this episode. It's funnier if you know the characters, but....XDXDXD
And ooh, I haven't watched Get Backers or Wolf's Rain yet, either. More anime to watch eventually! XD Wolf's Rain sounds preeetty... Wolves! Everyone has to love wolves!
And I got an A on my bio exam! Yaayy!! That means I've gotten A's on all of the exams I've taken second semester so far. And I've worked maybe half as hard as I did last semester, and I have one more class than I did last semester. o_O Yup, I'm so glad I decided not to be an engineer. I would've gone crazy...just like all my enginnering friends are going right now thanks to engineering physics! XD Teeheee...I feel smug!
Oh, and apparently hidden-currents.com is down right now...sooo...anyways, it'll be fixed soon. ^^; I'm having IP address problems. Or something. But yeah, it'll be fixed soon!
Speaking of needing fixing, Haloscan has been totally spastic lately... >_> Oh well! There's always the fallback method: social blogging! =D (yeah, I've been doing lots of that lately... >_>)
And I am sooo getting there with my pitas layout. Really.

Watched the first two episodes of the second HxH OVA. Have I mentioned I love Kurapika? I also love Leorio. And Leorio x Kurapika. Killua and Gon are adorable too. Gah, I love all of them. Hunter x Hunter is just a great show like that. You just have to love all the characters. *_* Though they seem to be trying to stuff a lot of events into the OVA, so some of the transitions aren't as smooth as they could be--but they still manage very well most of the time. After all, they're trying to stuff all of the Greed Island arc into 8 episodes. o_O I still don't understand how that can work... Already two episodes and they're not even close to starting the actual game yet... And Kurapika needs to move on. Now. It's seriously depressing watching him. ;_; I mean, character development is good, but...I love Kurapika so much! He should just go hang with his Leorio and Gon and Killua again and everything would be happy. Leorio could take a good long break from med school and they could all go search for Jin together! Happy! ;_; Wahh. Stupid Ryodan. They already got their OVA, dammit!
Finished paper. I love my 'ghetto graphs.' XD They are seriously ghetto. See? I wanna see what people make of it. It should be amusing.
Hmm. If I'm uploading things, I might as well upload everything I've been meaning to upload. XD
This is SUCH an adorable comic strip. Rose is Rose is the sweetest comic strip ever. Just read it and tell me if you DIDN'T smile and get warm fuzzies. =P Thank you Imouto and Dad for sending it to me!
And some random pic I doodled while on crack, apparently. o_O Me musing on socks. XD
Kurapika~aaaa.... ;_;

And arewe working on our domain? Are we now? *pokepokehinthint*
You, too! Don't think you can escape! BouBu! Website! Work work!
Who else can I poke? *ponders* Meimi!! Bound! *pokepoke* ....Lisa! New layout! Update website! *pokepoke* .....okay, definitely time to go to bed. If I dream about snakes I'm going to murder my biology professor.

You know what's cool about cosplaying Yuffie? I get to show off my legs. If I'm proud of anything having to do with my appearance, it's my legs. I'll be the first to admit that I'm flat, I have 0 muscle, and I still haven't gotten rid of the baby fat on my cheeks. But...legs! Yay for cosplaying Yuffie! (I got my socks, recently, okay? Let my gush over them. I wub them.)
Why yes, I'm more incomprehensible than usual. It's not just your imagination.
There was a tornado in Durham on Saturday morning. I was at the hospital volunteering, and they called a Code Grey. It was funny, because no one knew what the hell Code Grey was. (Was funny! All the nurses running around asking each other what Code Grey was and no one knowing! I would've found it even funnier if they hadn't made me man the reception desk. Again. Damn it, I hate answering phones! I hate having to respond to patient requests! I HATE those looks the people give me when I tell them I have no clue in hell what they're talking about, let me get the charge nurse because I'm just a volunteer and know nothing! ...okay, I'm done. But I will never, EVER get a job as a secretary. Ever. Answering phones is hell on earth.) Umm...anyways. Tornado. Right. I've decided that I need to get back to California now. So far, we've had 2 ice storms, numerous snow storms and a tornado. In California, all we got were a few thunder storms and an earthquake every few years that we Californians completely ignore--it was only a 6 on the Richter Scale, after all. Here, I get a tornado. I want OUT. Tornado = not happy Lisa. Tornado = Land of Oz = ruby slippers = "There's no place like home, dammit!" So yes, I want home. Now.
(No, I wasn't anywhere close to getting hurt. The tornado just passed through Durham a good distance away from us. Still.)
Princess Tutu still rocks my world. I'm working on my next layout. I need to catch up on Hikaru no Go, Naruto, Gundam Seed, and Hunter x Hunter OVA2, because I'm behind on all of them. And after that, I'll either start on Full Moon wo Sagashite or Witch Hunter Robin. I haven't decided which yet. (I have too much anime that I've downloaded and haven't had a chance to watch yet. >_>) And I'm writing a paper on snakes. The first draft is due on Wednesday and I only just now found my primary sources. This is going to be lots of fun. >_< We counted E.coli colonies in lab today (even more fun that counting spores!). I almost burned a hole in my arm. (Can't have a lab with Lisa and not have an incident!) It was stir fry night tonight. Chinese class is way too easy. I thought it would be my hardest class this semester. And I love baby carrots and peach Snapple iced tea.
This was a summary of my life. Be glad it isn't yours.

Everyone must watch Princess Tutu. I mean it. If you don't watch it purely based on the name or the fact that it's focused on ballet, you're missing out on a LOT. It's an AMAZING show. I had this incredible feeling while I was watching it, one that I can't really describe, but is pretty similar to the one I got when I was watching Fruits Basket. Though it's very different. Princess Tutu has this incredible fable-like atmosphere, almost like you're watching an actual ballet, but much livelier and cuter. It also manages being cryptic very well; it's mysterious, but not so mysterious that you have no clue in hell what's going on, like in Utena or...Rahxephon? Nah, not Rahxephon, not really...okay, Utena. Utena's my let's-get-stoned series; Princess Tutu made me think. (First line that truly caught my attention and stuck with me: "There is happiness for those who accept their fate. There is glory for those who fight against their fate." As I have this ongoing obsession/animousity thing going with the idea of fate, that got me hook, line, and sinker.) The mini-tales that introduce every episode are also a huge plus, in that they not only give a round-about introduction to the episode's storyline (a surprising amount happens in every episode o_O) but occasionally gives me interesting perspectives on old fairy tales, as well.
And the characters are excellent. The entire main cast. So well developed, most all of them likeable, especially Ahiru, the main character, a duck turned into a girl turned into a magical girl. (Did I mention that this show is incredibly weird at times?) She has replaced Tohru as my favorite main female protaganist in a shoujo series. (I still love Tohru, of course!) Mute is...you just have to watch him as he changes throughout the series. I can't put him into words. Fakia~~!!! rocks. I love him. I love him to pieces. I think Fakia and Ahiru would make an adorable couple XD but Ahira-as-magical-girl is already involved with Mute, and they're incredibly sweet and adorable as well. So damn. Why must this show provide me with so many adorable couples? >_< Anyway, Fakia! I have a "how-we-know-Fakia-cares-list." That might tell you what type of character he is. He's wooonderful! And I love how he dresses! And...OOOHH!!! *_* Hmm...others...Ahiru's friends are demonic. Or at least the evil-Tomoyo-blonde-chick is, anyway. She is so an evil Tomoyo. She doesn't sew costumes for Ahiru or anything, but she fawns over Ahiru's cuteness just like Tomoyo does over Sakura, but in a totally warped way. She scares me. Neko-sensei is funny. (He's a giant cat! have I mentioned there's lots of animals-as-people in this show? it's so random, but people just accept it, so it's really weird and surreal.) Ruu...she's interesting. Can'y say I like what she's doing, but some of her feelings strike a chord with me. So yes, she's interesting. Edel's kind of spooky, and I was starting to get sick of her musicbox playing every time she came on camera....but hey, spooky, doll-like characters are cool! O_o And Drosselmeyer is like an evil Nutcracker. He's the spookiest one of all. Dammit, there's so much about this series that's completely, totally surreal, just like a ballet or a fable...but there's so much of it that's funny (in an offbeat way) or cute or sweet that it's just perfect. I don't know what else to say. Except dammit, Fakia and Ahiru would really make an adorable couple. >_<
If you want to download Princess Tutu (do it!! DO IT!!!) the subbers have the first four episodes of the DVD version up on Bittorrent. What's Bittorrent, you ask? Why, only the bestest file sharing program in the world (if you're looking for newish releases)! You can download Bittorrent here; find the right version for your OS under the downloads page, download it, and install it. The page with the actual files is here; just click on the link with the file you want and you should be presented with a save window. (Not save-as; this would save the torrent file to your computer, and though this would still work out if you opened the torrent file from your computer, thereby starting the downloading process, it's easier just to open the torrent file from the link; that way the download starts right away.) Just select where you want the thing to be saved and you're good to go; the download starts off slow, usually, but if you're on a fast connection it usually speeds up later. If you don't want to use Bittorrent, you can also just go to the IRC channel for the subbers, either #a.f.k. or #hikarinokiseki, both of which are on the enterthegame server. I really don't feel like explaining how to use irc to download things here, soo...oh well. There's guides out there on the internet if you don't know how; it's not too hard to find them with google. =P (Random note: site with many bittorrent links is Animesuki. It's how I download all my new releases now. I only use irc for older series, or when I miss it while it's still on Bittorrent.)
Ahhh!! Princess Tutu!! And there's still more of it coming out, too~~! Though could someone tell me how the scheme for its release works? 13 24-minute episodes, and 26 15-minute episodes? o_O Time slot? Money issues? Whim? Bah. Anyways, that means more Tutu for me! So I'm happy. Maybe Fakia and Ahiru will get together, and Tutu and Mute will get together (though how that would work, I won't even try to explain away) and everything will be happy! ...sigh.
QUACK! XD Oh, dammit! I forgot to ask Phi to quack at the ducks for me when you went to Disneyland! >_< Oh well. Next time.

And randomly... I LOVE Daisuke and Ken, but I miss the pinkness of the Gigolo Trio layout. O_O I never thought I'd say that... I might have to do a new layout. >_< ARGH!! But Daisuke! And Ken! *wallows in indecision* ....maybe a different Daisuke and Ken layout? ...hmm...
This is what I think about in the absence of intellectual stimulation. To pink, or not to pink? That is the question. For purple is a fine color, regal and rich, but pink is tender and soft, and suited to a warm day in spring, as I hope it will in the future remain. (HEAR ME, WEATHER?) Hey, pink = sakura! Ken + Daisuke + sakura blossoms? *_* oohhhh....
Ohmigod, wtf is the matter with me? O_O

You're LISA! Super smart eccentric genius you are, you're great to gush with about anything! Keep up those doodles, and since you don't sign on AIM, blog more often! Come home, we miss you! XD
EEEE!!! Hunter x Hunter OVA 2 episode 1 came out!! XDXD (what a mouthful. o_O) I can't really watch it right now, because I have two tests in the next two days, but it's nice to know I have it saved up. Wheee, Kurapika! (Even if he is presently bed-ridden. >_>) Gon and Killua cuteness! I missed it. *_* Oh, and I have PoT 63 to watch, too! (The next episode is the chibi episode!! An entire episode of all the tennis boys as chibis! The 9 Seigaku Dwarfs! Mizuki the space alien! Shinji the evil crossdressing queen! XD Crossdressing chibis! You can NOT get any better than that!) And I still have to finish watching the first season of Digimon...
Oh, Imouto! I sent off your birthday gift today, so hopefully you'll get it soon. It's what I said it would be, as well as a few other little treats. ^_~ Yeah, it'll keep you busy for a while... Enjo~oy!!
And OHMIGOD. Manda, you have SO corrupted my mind. Again. Thank you. XD Seriously. It had NOT occurred to me that Sarah had been giving Evan a blow job in that...SPECIAL section of Joe Millionaire that they keep on showing in the recaps. "Slurp" "slurp" "GULP" indeed. I just can't believe I didn't see it before. O_O Guess I'm not quite corrupted enough yet. =P So anyways, I'm just incredibly happy that he chose Zora (my roommate and I were squealing sooo loud) and I was even happier when Zora said yes (we screamed happily). Woohoo!! Such a nice ending for the show, when it could have been so...bad. o_O An ending that restores some of my faith in human nature. Although I can't help but feel a little bad for Sarah. I don't really think she liked him all that much, but I don't really think she was totally after the money, either; it just must have been a really big hit to her to have lost. ...but I still love Zora a lot more! I also wish the Hula Hoop Girl could've ended up in some of the later rounds. She was so kyu~ute! XD (And she was Asian. Yeah, yeah, I know. I'm biased. =P But notice all the girls in the last few rounds were white...) Princess Girl, however, annoyed the hell out of me. You know, *whinewhine~ uhhhwhatanUGLYdress ~whinewhine~ mydaddygivesmeanythingiwant ~whinewhinewhine~ ionlylikewearingTIGHTclothes ~bouncebouncebouncewhinewhinewhine~* Yeah? EW. She was almost as distasteful as Heidi. Heidi was just a bitch, and she doesn't care or seem to have enough social conscience to realize how much of a bitch she is. (Or maybe she just suppresses her social conscience. She seems capable of it.) And then she blames everything thinking that she's a bitch on "girls being catty." Right. They were jealous of you and your considerable assets, which is why you got booted the second show? Delusions are wonderful, aren't they?
Help me. I've been sucked in by a reality tv show. >_<
Anyways! Better read up on some Chaucer, get ready for my test tomorrow, finish my paper on "What Men Want." >_> Yes, that's the paper topic. "What Men Want." Because one of the Canterbury Tales was focused on the search for want women want, so we have to write a paper on what men want. =P I'm guessing it's easier for the guys in the glass than the girls, even if it is supposed to be based on the tales. le sigh. Actually, guys reading this (not many) what DO you want? Seriously? Or not seriously? Inquiring (paper-writing!) minds want to know. ^_~
And with that, I have blogged. Good night~~!

Drunk (pledging) frat boys came to our dorm room and sang "Brown Eyed Girl" to us at the top of their lungs at 1:30AM. It was cute, but scary. My post-Valentines day experience. ^^; (But some of them were pretty cute... XD)

Ohoho! I archived!
I realized that the reason I have not blogged anything interesting recently and therefore believed that my life is uninteresting is not because nothing has been happening in my life, but because I never have time to blog it after it happens and I forget about it. >_< So!! I resolve to not only try to make my blog more interesting, but to actually make time to post when I have time to post!
Anyways.
96 on Psych test! (which I started studying for at 4PM the day before. XD I'm turning into such a slacker...) I would've gotten a 98, except that I'm dyslexic. (Hey, I thought sodium hydroxide [NaOH] was nitric acid [HNO3]; TWICE. Thinking "animus" and bubbling in "anima" isn't too much of a stretch...) My roommate and I finally voiced the heretofore unvoiced conclusion that we would be roommates next year. (Though it's pathetic how much courage I had to dredge up to broach the subject. >_>) So yay for having that resolved!
Oh, and!! I threw up today, felt intense pain in my abdominal region, and was so constipated that I was reduced to abject wimpering. I had to go see the doctor, and he says I probably have some sort of stomach flu and I can't eat solid food for a few days. Isn't that lovely? =D I thought I had appendicitis for a while, or something. ^^; But yay, it turned out okay. Sorta. I want reaaalll fooodd!!! ;_;
Bwahaha, watched PoT, Spiral, and Frontier today~~! PoT: Ootori=<3. That boy is definitely the hottest in the entire series. Kikumaru is adorable, Ooishi is a sweetheart and my dream husband, Shinji is sooo funny and wubable, Fuji is just so EVIL! But Ootori is good-natured, and loyal, and sooooo sekshay... XD Eee!! Anyways! O_O Spiral: I love Rutherford more and more the farther we get into this series. He's just so quirky, and fascinating, and bishie, and, and, BISHIEE!! And something about the series just appeals to my linear little brain. I really don't think I can explain it, so bah. AND~~! Frontier. I'm definitely not into Digimon Frontier as much as I was into 02 (still am!) or even Tamers, but I love Takuya. So I'll watch the rest of the series just for him. XD (Besides, his seiyuu's Takeuchi Junko! Gon! Naruto! GOMAMON!! XD shooo cute... me wubs.) And I'm slowly working my way through all of Digimon season 1 (thank you irc!!) so that I'll have the proper background to write fics. (I love Joooeeee!!! He's ME! Well, sorta. I'd say take some Joe and some Kari/Hikari introversion, maybe some Izzy/Koushiro nerdiness and Cody/Iori moral rigidity >_> and you have me. ...a tiny bit of Mimi. I'm turning incredibly vain lately. I PREEN now. PREEN.) You know what I realize? I have way too much time this semester. Oh well! Fine with me! Maybe I can work on cosplay sometime... Phi, what did you say you used to coat your belts after you painted them so they don't crack? (hhmmmm, maybe this should go on the ml...) And we should probably start thinking about Operation Lobby, huh? =P lalalalaaa... Oh shit, I still need to register for AX. >_< Heck, Fanime too. How many do we have going to AX so far? 10? (waii Jack can come! XD) I'm babbling. Actually blogging seriously has completely melted my brain, apparently. Hee. Oh well, I guess I'll try to do some work... Bah.
Oh yeah! And Happy Valentines Day, everyone!! Especially to everyone out there like me who's single. =P If you're not...you're enjoying Valentine's Day already (hopefully) and I doubt you really need the extra blessing. XD

Version 6: A Warm Day
I'm currently on a gigantic Digimon high. The result? A Daisuke and Ken layout! I wub them so much~~ For the uninformed, they're from the second season of Digimon. A kid's show, you scoff. Ha! Shows what you know. Picture above was done in Painter 6.1, with an Intuos 2 graphics tablet. It was the first time I used Painter. It rocks.
