np: computer buzz!

I am sick. I am not going to school tomorrow. But I did work. And I slept twelve hours last night and dreamt about flying math equations. No, really. Flying math equations. Apparently I was running away from them. You know, like Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds, except not. Yes, I had a fever. Not terribly high, but high enough; 101.5~102F. High enough to make me dream about flying math equations anyway. (don't ask me how they managed to fly. I really haven't the foggiest.)

But anyways, this weekend I: finished robotics t-shirt, robotics buttons, my calculus homework sorta. I did not: draw, work on literature project, work on website. Oh well. I'll get there, I suppose...

But I was delighted with my result on this test. ^0^ L is my favorite letter too!!! ("L"isa. egocentric not. really.)

So which letter of the alphabet matches YOUR personality, huh?

Philosophical. I like that.

A~anyways. Really is sleepy time now. Congrats on UCI, Kix!! ^0^ And Kix, Phi? You both need hella more sleep. Got it? Or when I get better, I'll poke you! :P N' Kenji? Don't let meanie peoples gets to ya. ^_~ Always remember the people that love you! (and will also poke you, if necessary. we all poke very well.) ....i might be coming down with a fever again....

np: my pounding head

I have a sinus headache. Not cool. Apparently I'm a lot sicker than I thought. I even had NyQuil last night instead of DayQuil and it didn't help at all. I still woke up and felt a balloon had taken up residence inside my head. Except my head felt a lot heavier than a ballon.

But oh well. I'd sleep, but there's too much to do. But before I get to it... Fun tests! ^0^ Haven't done any of those for a while...

You're Aoki Seiichirou!
You are one of a dying breed... a true gentleman (or gentlewoman, as the case may be). You tend to be a little disorganized and scatterbrained, but your heart is always in the right place. While you aren’t always the one who gets the most attention, you are sweet, dependable, and extremely loyal to your loved ones. Your family and friends are very important to you, and you will go to any length to protect them.
Which Dragon of Heaven are you?
Quiz by Kerianne

Big surprise there. The next one:

The Harry Potter Personality
Test - Who Are YOU?
You're respectful, confident, with self-asteem, supportive and with an air of authority. People can rely on you, you're always there to land a hand, and you love to support others. You're a responsible person who tries to makes sence of what's going on around you, and you can give advice and make people feel comfortable in your presence.
Who are YOU?

.....cool.

I think I better rest now. I've progressed from sounding like a frog to feeling like a stuffed-up drainage pipe... Dammit! I haven't been getting sick at all before second semester this year... I was completely healthy! So WHY have I gotten sick THREE TIMES since February this year? ;_; mooo.... It's hard to enjoy senioritis when you're sick all the time...

np: White Destiny from Pretear. I reallly like this song! (especially when I found the translation of the lyrics. yupyup.)

Lalalaaa~aaaa... Even if I did manage to become sick AGAIN, I'm still happy. I finally ordered the polo shirts for Robotics, the literary magazine is finally FINISHED (well, except copying, but Sarah-dear is taking care of that...), I finished the t-shirt design for the school musical (Hello Dolly!), I survived my debate in government even while sounding like a frog thanks to my sore throat, and I don't have any commitments this weekend!! WOOHOOO~OOO!! SLEEP!! Well, I do have to finish the t-shirt design for robotics (Saturday morning) and I have to finalize the button design, and I have to do the banner and the sidepanels... Not to mention the take-home calculus quiz and the Hamlet presentation/storyboard thing... :/ But no meetings!! Hooray!

Oh, I'm also happy because I thought of people I might want to cosplay as at AX! ^0^ Cuz' I was watching Fruits Basket, and ep 18 is such a ~wonderful~ Hana-chan episode, and I was thinking I sooo want to cosplay Fruits Basket, and if I only had blonde hair I could be the perfect Uo because I'm so tall... Ohmigod, I'm TRULY rambling. All of what I just said had nothing to do with the other stuff...oh well. Anyways... Kix? If you're going to be Hana-chan, I'd gladly get a wig and try to sew a costume for Uo. ^0^ (I actually did learn limited sewing way back when, sometime in elementary school...embroidery, mostly. I sucked, but my work was functional...I think...) My other possibilities are Garnet from ff9, still, and maybe Suzuka from Angelic Layer. X3 Yeah, I know Suzuka's like, 1/40 of my size, but me don't care!! The whole fishnet thing is majorly cool! And everyone talking about cosplay makes me want to too. But it's funner to cosplay with other people, so it'd be cool to do Uo with you, Kix! ^0^ I could be all menacing and threaten people! Maim not destroy, you know. ^_~ Heehee. I'm having too much fun with this.

Oh! And congrats to all my friends who are now officially college-bound! Which is...ALL OF THEM!! XD Nope, no more worrying about not getting in anymore!! Kenji got AISC (WOOHOO!!) and Kix and Phi have some of the UC's already, so nobody has to worry anymore! No matter what, we're going SOMEWHERE. X3 And 'Manda-dear got Northwestern early decision, and Sarah has gotten into so many good liberal arts school it's not even funny. X3 I'm so happy for everyone!! Now we can really enjoy our senior years. ^0^ (well, that works in principle...)

Must...sleep... And I still have episode 19 of Fruits Basket on my comp and I haven't watched it yet! ^0^ Good times... (I realized that I've downloaded more than 155 digisubs in the past four months or so. o.O They fill up most of one of my (20gig) hardrives and like, a little less than 50 cds. O.O Egad! And I also went through my manga shelf and realized I own 53 volumes of manga o.o; It doesn't even come close to the number of fantasy and sci-fi novels I have on my bookshelf, or even the amount some OTHER people (koffkoffphikixkoffkoff) have, but still, I find that a fairly impressive number. (o~oddly enough, 27 volumes of the 53 are CLAMP. X3 That's like, about half. the rest is Obata Takeshi (hikago!), Yukiru Sugisaki (DNAngel!), and whoever draws Yami no Matsuei... Heehee, like I said, having way too much fun today...

Woohoo, Xenogears is almost done extracting! It's done! Cool! .....wait. Er. I didn't say anything.....

np: nothing... well...one of the bgms from FFX is still in my head...

happyhappyhappy!! ^0^

I am now playing FFX in two different spots; post-Bevelle with Jen and Patrick, and post-Kilika Temple on my own. Basically, I started over again this morning for myself, and then Jen and Patrick came over and we played from where we left off. Ish so fun!! ^0^ I love that game so much! I wish my parents would let my play it on weekdays. :( They treat me like a child! "No TV or video games Mon-Thurs!" Dammit, I'm a SENIOR!! >_< Grrr. Oh well. I have a plan anyway! Mon-Thurs, I work on website and drawings; Fri-Sun, I play FFX!! It's a perfect plan, I tell you! Oh yeah, and homework fits in there somewhere too...

Actually, speaking of homework, I ish so proud of myself!! I finished aa~all my work BEFORE NOON ON SUNDAY. Not just my homework; my work for clubs, too. X3 And it's not like I had a light load to work with, either. I had no less than two t-shirt designs to create (for Robotics and for the school musical...), a four-hour long Spectrum meeting to finish up the Winter issue (we didn't finish, of course), college scholarships to think about, and of course, normal homework, like the usual calculus assignment and that investigate-a-third-party assignment for Gov. Oh, and the biology labs. I BSed the entire thing. :) Heehee!! But I was working, like, ALL of Saturday; from 8-11, essentially. >_< I deserved the break today, dammit!

Lalala, what else? Erm. Oh, Kenji! I think I understand a lot of what you feel. I mean, about being too nice, and allowing people to override what you want, in order to get what they want. >_< Essentially, that was me in a nutshell, until about junior year. After getting burned a few times, I started figuring out that if I didn't stop letting people have their way with me, I was going to burn out. Like, with school projects, or even with my friends; if I didn't know what I want and push for it, other people wouldn't care, mostly. Especially if I didn't say what I wanted, which makes sense because they don't know what I want... So in the end, I generally still let people do what they want and just follow them... Unless I know I want something else. Then I turn into a mule. ^_~ I drag my feet, I point out other alternatives, I generally make a nuisance of myself. Basically, I try not to sacrifice being a nice person, and avoid snapping at people or acting without tact; but I don't really let people have their way with me either. Being in control of what you want and what you get is good! Better than being the docile doormat I was pre-junior year. o.O

But yeah, I babble. I should probably sleep soon...yupyup. Sleep sounds good to me! ...of course, I do have to work on my stupid art project... >_<

np: Dancing on the Rings of Saturn (it's a harp/flute duet. very pretty.)

Just had to take the Dragon Quiz before I did my homework. :)

A BLUE Dragon Lies Beneath!

I took the Inner Dragon online quiz and found out I am a Blue Dragon on the inside. If there ever was a draconic example of a supple attitude, my Inner Dragon is it. Blues are the Water Elemental dragon - typified by their Steam breath weapon. Pretty creative, huh? It goes right along with my Inner Dragon's tendency to maim, but not destroy. Much like my native oceans and rivers will deform the rock over time, eventually wearing it away to nothing.

Humans shouldn't make the mistake of thinking I'm weak, however. After all I'm a good 30 feet in length and have a penchant for materializing out of any body of water, no matter how small. The element of surprise and limited magical capablities are definitely yours. I also enjoy communicating with aquatic lifeforms, hunting in totally inhospitable terrain (i.e. 3000 feet below the waves), and using my fluid nature to my advantage. My enemies probably won't even see me approach in the first place. My favorable attributes are the sunset, Autumn, water, compassion, peace, forgiveness, intuition, and calmness. Naturally, I pity the fool who'd try and prove that calmness part, he'd probably wind up being scalded. *small grin*

I got bluu~ueeee!!!! XD Heehee. Happy now. B'bye!!

(Addendum: changing one iffy question resulted in a Yellow dragon; the Air one. ^_^ Air or water; usually I end up identifying with one of the two. Happened again. Cool! I love me. I'm so consistent. ^_~)

np: Suteki da ne by Rikki (must...play...FF...X...!!!)

Hoi~ii!! I discovered how to make an ftp account for the boukensha bu ppls!! ^0^ It's so simple it's not even funny; my webhost automates it for me. o.O All we need to figure is the subdomain we want (something like "boukensha bu", maybe? :P) and a name and password for the ftp account. We can discuss it in art class. ^0^ Kewlness!! So simple!! I like simple. ^_~

Oh! My uncle and aunt are majorly 1337. They just came back from Taiwan and got me all the Hikaru no Go manga released so far. (up to 15!!) In Chinese!! X3X3X3 Woohoo~ooo!!! (well, he couldn't find volume ten, but I don't care. They got me 11 books! And insisted that I didn't need to pay for them!! o.O Egad, utterly cool!! X3 And after flipping through volume 15 and volume 4 (i opened 15 first. bad lisa. but i DID rent the rest of them before...) I was amazed by how much Hikaru and Akira changed, when I compared the two volumes side by side. My babies GREW UP!! ^0^ They look soo~ooo yummy!! ^0^

Fluffy: ahem. Two words for you. "Cradle" and "robber."
me: what, YOU again? I thought you were gone for good... And don't "cradle robber" me! What, two, three years have passed since the manga started? They're, like, 15 or 16 by now! They're only two or three years younger than me! MY CONSCIENCE IS CLEAR, DAMMIT!!
Fluffy: Whatever, dearie.

Ahem. Anyways, to demonstrate the difference to you, I've scanned pictures from the earlier volumes and the later ones. XD Daaiii~suki!!! (iyuk. i'm a screaming fangirl.)

Young Hikaru (he looks so YOUNG...)

Young Akira (he looks so~oo adorable!! Methinks I have this thing for that type of hair cut. Cases in point: Ken Ichijouji, Digimon 02. Sei-lan, Angelique. And Akira, of course. ^_~)

And older Hikaru! <3<3<3(yes, that's Akira's head in the foreground. Just had to leave it in there. X3 They're SPEAKING to each other!! X3X3 Yes folks, we have hit on one of the few shounen ai couples that lisa is RABIDLY fond of. (be afraid. ^_~)

And finally...older Akira!! <3<3~~~<3<3 Must...glomp... (it's from the same page as the picture before this. ^_^ I liked that page...) Daaiiii~suki!!! ^0^ I'd play Shidou-Go with him any time!

Have I scared you with my rabid fangirl-ness yet? :p

Hrrm. What else? Oh, got a 90 on my Calculus test! Everything I missed was STOO-pit. Like, I took the derivative of 2x as x instead of 2. >_< Messed up my entire problem. And thenthen I had two logarithmic differentation problems and I FORGOT TO GIVE MY ANSWER TO THE POWER OF e!! >_< ............wait.....i'm being nerdy, aren't i? Sorry. ^^;; And I fell asleep in Calculus today. ^_^ Heehee. I don't do that very often... And I drew my boukensha bu character sheet, too!! ^0^ I ish productive, yes I ish!!

Time to do physics homework. Farewell!! Parting is such shweet sorrow! (i am Shakespeare overdosed, what with helping Kenji practice Othello and reading Hamlet in Lit. >_< I dothest not liketh thiseth. Not at alleth. Actually, I'm lying. I actually like Shakespeare. I just don't like thinking in Shakespeare. >_>) Anyways... Later ppl!!

np: May it Be by Enya

I archived! So proud of myself. :)

Very much cool: apparently, I got into UCLA. o.O I didn't expect to hear back from any of my colleges so soon... But one acceptance already! Uber-coolness!! At least I know I'm going to college for sure! ^_~ (nine more to go. >_<)

D/Led the LoTR movie. 2 CDs. :P Excellent quality too! OHohohoho!! LEGOLAS!!! And Kenji brought me FFX to pla~ay!! ^0^ I am soo~oo not going to be doing homework until I finish that game...

Also took another RP testing thing. Another test says I'm Neutral Good. O.o Talk about consistency! But the rest of it's kinda unforeseen:

I Am A: Neutral Good Elf Ranger Druid

Alignment:
Neutral Good characters believe in the power of good above all else. They will work to make the world a better place, and will do whatever is necessary to bring that about, whether it goes for or against whatever is considered 'normal'.

Race:
Elves are the eldest of all races, although they are generally a bit smaller than humans. They are generally well-cultured, artistic, easy-going, and because of their long lives, unconcerned with day-to-day activities that other races frequently conccern themselves with. Elves are, effectively, immortal, although they can be killed. After a thousand years or so, they simply pass on to the next plane of existance.

Primary Class:
Rangers are the defenders of nature and the elements. They are in tune with the Earth, and work to keep it safe and healthy.

Secondary Class:
Druids are a special variety of Cleric who serves the Earth, and can call upon the power in the earth to accomplish their goals. They tend to be somewhat fanatical about defending natural settings.

Find out What D&D Character Are You?, courtesy ofNeppyMan (e-mail)

Interesting. Elf and Neutral Good were REALLY solid scores. But Ranger and Druid only barely edged out Cleric and Mage by like a point or two; I went back and changed a question and it all got changed around. So I guess I could really be any of the four. (bard was pretty high too.) Still cool. Heehee, I'm an elf!!

All this fantasy stuff makes me want to work on my Boukensha Bu. ....time to doodld!! ogad, "doodle". I can spell, really. Must work on Boukensha Bu and new pita layout (i scanned in the picture i'm gonna use!! who's productive? ^_~) and update Hidden Currents too...

Oh, random! Kix, your site on Azumi Tohru is pwetty~y!! I didn't even know about her until I drooled over her artwork at your site around, oh, ten minutes ago. ^_~ Woohoo!!! We're all being so productive!! (hint to self: this is your cue to get working, dear.) Heehee. Time to go to sleep.
