np: Vivid Colors - L'Arc~En~Ciel

A little article I wrote up... will be in our AKG Articles of Life section (whenever the page is revamped) *smile*:

Somehow when I look at our styles I can compare them to CLAMP characters. Gaki's definitely the Satsuki Igarashi with her simple yet cool style. Akuma's got the pointy eyes and faces of Mokona Apapa. Me? After all the Card Captor Sakura I've read, I'm thinking more Mick Nekoi. Lucky us. We all draw in the different styles of CLAMP theoretically. What? What about Nanase Ookawa? I doubt any of us have the genius she has. Let's just say our stories are... nowhere near as complex and captivating as hers are. Although I do believe Gaki's extremely talented in dialogue. I could go with plot. And with Akuma hoarding her stories, if she truly has any, I cannot tell the depths of her "hidden" talent. Either way, I'm happy we've found eachother and that we click so well. We could truly be the CLAMP of the 1984 generation ^_^

Notes?: How optomistic! About the whole CLAMP of the 1984 generation... I forgot; We have no drive... or Nanase Ookawa.

*squeals* MY GACKT REBIRTH CD CAME IN THE MAIL TODAY~~~ *drools* He's so cool! He's so cool! Anyhow.. today? Math test.. bleh. Bio quiz.. bleh bleh... Lit essay peer editing... FUN!! XD Also, during 6th (study hall) Gaki and I walked over to the nearby 7-11 and when we came back the teacher said she didn't care at all. Just thought we were brave to walk in such hot weather... Yes, it's hot... VERY HOT ::melts::

Working on AKG's new layout ^_^ We're getting akgstudios.net XD SO HAPPY! Still got contacts, AX registration, etc. to do, but I'll be okay ^_^;; Tommorow is only essay due and japanese quiz. Oh yes! Today I also had cravings for three things... Turkey Avacado Sandwich, Sushi, or Salad. Tommorow I'm going with Gaki to Mitsuwa to ask about job, and am going to get sushi then. Today, I got to call my mom on my brother's cell (I WANT ONE XD) and so now I'm also getting salad. Sooooo~ I'm thinking tommorow for lunch or Friday for dinner will be Turkey Avacado sandwich *drools* Hungryyyyyyyyy~

Wheee! So much going on! I'm still fretting about school an finals, etc. BUT as I've finally gotten back to my regular 4-5 hour a night schedule, I'm perky. Incredibley perky. It seems we're finally getting that domain name for AKG, and I've got all sorts of ideas for layouts and pages and ways to use it! During study hall, Gaki and I signed out to go to the bathroom, lockers, art room, and lit room.... and somehow traversed over to 7-11 where we bought slurpees. Just more added sugar ^_^ On the way we just talked and talked about AX and AKG!! Ohhh~ So much to do!

My brother is also letting my see his Samurai Spirits game so I can finalize the plans on my Nakoruru outfit @_@ Gotta get my work permit in andddd~ already cut out my whole Tomoeda summer outfit XD Just need to sew it when there's no mommy around. Sadly enough, 2 yards isn't enough for the skirt, but I'm hoping it will still turn out fittable ^^;;; We'll just see ne.

SAT scores came today ;_; AKUMA!! SHOW ME! I bet you did so good ;_; and GAKI! DO NOT tell her what I goottttt ;_; Maybe it's already too late? Oh well.. Te he. Ciaoooo~

*giggle* Today I got all preppy dressed up. Maybe I'll sketch what I wore, but I dunno ^_^ It was FUN! I went over to Gaki's house at 10:00 expecting to see Akuma already there. I end up seeing Gaki's mom outside walking the dog saying, "Goes Philana know you're coming over?", to which I reply, "Yeah, isn't Mirae already here?"... "Mirae?" Okay, so I start freaking out wondering if they changed the schedule. I get let in, and it's actually that Gaki was sleeping... Her brother tells me that Akuma had come, but then no one answered the door so she left. Akuma popped up and she had been sitting in her car slurping her Starbucks ^^;;; So we get Gaki to get up after 20 minutes. Did I mention that I had to go back home at 12:00? Hmmm two hours to get everything done @_@

After we finally leave the house, we rush over to Hancock's Fabrics, to check around before Joann's Fabrics. BLEHHH! Hancock's had realllly nice thick canvas type cloth for the Tomoeda uniform and some nice trim for my Nakoruru outfit, but I didn't have enough money and I wasn't sure what blue it was... since in the game she has dark blue, and in Aoi Nanase's pictures it's light blue... =P But I bought my Tomoeda cloth and since the novelties were on sale, I bought piping, trim, and a zipper =D Yay! They had ones longer than 7" thank goodness! I ran to get Starbucks since the line was so long! We barely made it out of there by 11:50 and zipped back home. Luckily my dad came to pick me up at 12:05 so we weren't late.

THEN! Although my dad said he'd have lunch with me, he was forced to have it with my mom so he could 'explain' why I had gone out. I was disappointed, but my dad took me to Le Boulanger to buy a sandwich for lunch. He also got me a dutch crunch roll. VERY GOOD! I've decided to make a review on all the Turkey Avacado sandwiches I've eaten. I've eaten them at 4 places so far, not counting the other Togo's I've been to. So I'll be typing that up *giggle*

Okay... I have to go study at 2:00, but we also have to order contacts =_= Come back Phi!!

Okay, today I went shopping at Valley Fair and bought two knit turtleneck sweaters and a nice black jacket ^_^ Other than that? I actually turned down an offer to eat a Cinnabon. I was so full from salad and tired from .. well sleeping late and waking up early. Last night was so fun though ^_^ I was watching more Densetsu no Kyoushi and dang! Ma-cchan is cooool~ Then I watched some stupid infomercial about "Auto-Lock" which is like super better than "The Club" because it protects the STRONGEST part of the car "the break" so people can't drive your car away. Stupidly, they can still steal your radio, rims, etc. Not to mention, although you can't break the 'steel bullet proof' lock, you can rip a hole in the ground below the brake, rendering the Auto Lock useless. Or if someone decides to tow your car away =_=

I also figured out another pet peeve. When you're bored at home, and every midnight newscast is about the SAME crime =_= I KNOW someone left a baby in front of a house. But honestly, 3-4 different channels talking about it at the same time? I did figure out that channel 4 had nicer interviews and better cameras than channel 5 though ^_^;;;

Okay, headache headache~ Yesterday was uber fun when I went to Mitsuwa with Akuma and Gaki XD Gaki went to work and Akuma came with me to talk about the applications and stuff X3 I said I could work 3 days a week and weekends and so hopefully I got the job~ (ne ne! People! Visit me!) Then in the summer, I'm going to work full-time. I'm also contemplating on not taking summer school and just taking Physics and high school because Gaki's going to be gone for two weeks of it anyhow O.o and I don't want to take the class by myself~ Anyhow, I met up with Heidi there XD Wahhh I hadn't seen Heidi for a long time! She had came with Ran (who I finally got to meet. *giggle* Fobby boy~) and he kept talking in chinese which kind of upset Akuma. But shinpai shinaide! It was all stupid things. ^^; Kinda like what he says in english *laugh* But he's interesting ne ^_^ Very funny. Since Gaki was still working, I bought Akuma and I TAKOYAKI (oishiii!!!!) and afterwards we decided to go to play DDR at Vallco. Akuma took a wrong turn so we got there 5 minutes after Heidi-tachi but it was okay. Only Akuma played 'cause me and Heidi freaked out, not to mention we both wore sucky shoes @_@ Heidi had to go at 6, so Akuma and I just wandered around the mall for the next hour. We went back to Mitsuwa around 6:45 so we could visit Gaki during her break but.. but.. *sniffle* She already took it without us!! ;_; So I went to Kinokuniya to get my Hana to Yume and I bought two manga. One by Shimaki Ako and the other by Kaori Yuki. Akuma sent me home and I fell asleep at 8:00 ^^;

This morning I woke up at 10:00 and cleaned my room. My mom and I were planning to go shopping, but around 1:00 my mom told me we were going to Stanford... NOOOO~ Sorry, but Valley Fair is my kind of shopping mall, and NEVER would I want to go to outlets @_@ I just can't find the clothes I want there~ But I let myself go since my dad was going and I actually bought a lot of stuff. I forgot that I loved Bloomingdale's sock selection and bought perhaps... 8 pairs? Some Polo sports socks, 3 other sports socks, some nice semi knee semi short socks (for Tomoyo's outfit), and a bunch of knee-highs. *niko* I love knee high socks! Sadly enough, the only thigh-highs they had were fish-net or sheer. It seems they don't sell opaque ones during the summer *pout* I also got a nice business type suit XD I'm going to make the skirt shorter though 'cause it goes past my knees @_@ It's grey-ish lavender and I plan to wear it shopping and for other occasions X3 I also got a nice dark brown top =9 That's about it for Stanford, 'cept that me and my dad started discussing my future and then I got a headache. Let's just say that the conversation took about an hour or more @_@ I'm okay now, I just need to study =_=

Today we also planned to play tennis, but once again the courts were full... so my mom wants me to wake up at 6:30 tommorow morning to get a court ;_; I'm still deciding whether or not it's in my interest... Luckily that gives me time today to study ^_^ I also have my drama at 11:00!! So I get about 3 hours studying today? Hmmm... oh well, ja!

Bweee~ Happy new happy news! Other than the fact that I've been sleeping around 3am~6am for the last 5 days and waking up at 6:30am for 3 of them, I'm perfectly genki! I'm hoping my grades will be 4.0, but I dunno! Luckily I got a 27.5/28 on my japanese quiz today! And in History, since the AP tests are over, nothing's happening *laugh* Tommorow we're walking to the corner cafe and buying COFFEE~~ In math? I have a 91% and am doing okay 'cept I haven't done homework for... awhile *g* Just need to get an A on the final though XP Art... te he, we started acrylics and I don't like them ;_; So hard to work with for people~ Landscapes are okay though. Then BIO! I finally got a 20/20 on my quiz! Previously it's been 10/20 and 15/20... and don't even ask me about when we had group quizzes... I'll just hint and say that one of my group members got a 0 on all three of the individual quizzes @_@ Then, in Literature, I found out that I have the highest grade in the class by 4% O.o Whew, that's news to me. So I can get a 70% on my Scarlet Letter essay and be okay XD but of COURSe I'll try my best to get an A ^^;;

More news. Although I'm perfectly genki lacking sleep, I get disallusional... aka "2 x 9 = 27!" or "Wow.. the crack in the ceiling is soo cool" or "Noo~ It's dark in here, I'm scarrred"... and the best one of course, "Tee hee, how do your bra straps fall?" ^^;; I've been saying lots of junk recently, so I need to get my act together on sleeping... but it's still 1am now, and I still want to finish reading a fic... sooo @_@ I'm not helping myself ne?

Today, I also found the joys of looking at Referrer Tracking 2... The keywords part is sooo funny! What's "naked", "sex", "shotacon" being searched forso many times? And one of the highest counts is "trees" for 31 hits ^^;; *cackles* Some people are so funny!

... I have a headache and I'm extremely tired... but I still have good news XD I woke up this morning planning to do tons of stuff, but my mom said she would give me $10.00 to go shopping with her at that moment. I pushed the time back so I could take a shower, but then we went to Milpitas, where my mom bought... way too much crystal. Luckily we also got free crystal items since they were having a promotion and my mom got special edition convention only pins to go along with her purchase. Then we went to go buy tennis goods so we could play tommorow. We bought 3 cans of tennis balls and I got my racket. I was sad when it said the ones we wanted were $299.99 and $198.99, but luckily they were on sale for $59.99 and $69.99. Were we lucky or what? Then, because Aaron Brother's was next door, and I had never been inside, I went there while my mom was trying on shoes.... They had Bristol Vellum paper... which is the PERFECT-EST paper for marker XD I love it way more than marker paper~ So I got my mom to buy me a pad X3 She was really mean and stingy about it, but at least I got it in the end @_@ I also got some metal stuff for Nakoruru's swords.

Which reminds me, I made this huge schedule for the next two months and I think if I start cramming after school ends, I can finish all 3 costumes XD I just hope I follow my schedule XP

Wheee~ It's hot XD Summer is coming~ Today Gaki and I didn't have very much work to do @_@ SOOOO~ We were planning out AX2001, Summer School, and life in general ^_^ For AX, we're still trying to figure out a third group to go as since we only have CCS and some random ideas at the moment. Help? Also... I need a job!! XP

I've been freaking out about colleges and stuff too... 'cause UCLA has all the majors I could ever dream of! Bad news? 73.1% of their students had a 4.0 GPA or above *sniffle* So I'm planning on going to Riverside or San Diego/Irvine and transfering ^^;;; Te he!

Other news? I plan to update my AKG Studios Gallery sometime soon. I really wish that I could get my scanner working again @_@ We're planning on getting a domain name soon *wheee* I also got the new Gackt: Rebirth CD and Dir En Grey's new single XD SOOO HAPPY! Plus, my brother is burning a CD for me ^_~ I need to finish picking songs *g* Almost done with my watercolor pencil project for art, and started my scratchboard project. I really want to paint a picture of my house for the acrylics project... 'cept that I need to take a picture of it... Camera por favor? =P

np: Reflections - Mulan

Yayy~ It's sunday! I guess I should start from Saturday morning though... I woke up at 9:00am and decided to play on the computer. My parents were getting ready for their trip to LA and I was getting ready to go to Kenji's house for the Yuaikai community service event. I got to Kenji's house at 11:10am after feeling an urge to eat biscuits ^^;; So he baked them (*arigatou kenji!!*) and I ate two ^^ Akuma and Gaki were late because Gaki had to take a shower and Akuma had to send her brother to the arcade. So me and Kenji were BORED. It was too quiet a morning to be playing DoA2 and although FF Tactics looks extremely fun, I didn't want to play from right before the final boss... which was where all Kenji's saved games were (he wouldn't let me start from the beginning @_@). So I went online and chatted for an hour =P Finally Akuma and Gaki got here around 12:30 and I chatted more *laugh* Gaki ended up playing DDR 4th mix the whole time, and after everyone signed off we went to watch her. I guess I'll have to practice for AX na... =/

We went to Yuaikai around 3:30pm and got to go to Nikaku!! XD They have most new artbooks (even less popular ones) for cheaper than Kino's price~ So I happily hunted around and found two that catched me eye. Azumi Tohru's PIETA Artbook and Osawa Mitsuki's Fire Emblem Gekka Ginyu Artbook XDXDXD!! THAT made me soooo happy~ 'cause Kino's doesn't carry any artbooks by Tohru Azumi except the one I already have... and you have to special order it too @_@ Tohru Azumi-samaaaa *droooool*

So we went to the place where we were supposed to waiters and waitresses. It was a nice formal-ish fundraiser and so they had a catering service ^_^ Blinkachu was being a pain by not listening to directions... bleh~ BUT the fun part was around 7:30 we got to EAT! FREE FOOD! We were all starving since we all basically had a biscuit for lunch @_@ and from what I heard Gaki had a hot dog... but annnyhow~ We got to eat leftovers and extra chicken. So there was muchos food to eats~ I brought some home, but my brother's friend's ate it. I think they're weird and somewhat annoying, but that could be the PMS talking. But we got COFFEE with SUGAR and TEA with SUGAR, so you could definitely say we were bouncing off the walls XD

On the way home to Gaki's house, we all piled into Kenji's dad's car and talked about fun things. So far we know we HAVE to take a road trip to LA in 2002 Summer (after our Japan Trip) XD It sounds MUCHO fun! AKG is still worrying about other cosplay groups to do though... They were thinking kenshin, but I AM NOT doing Kaoru or Megumi. Kaoru because she's overplayed, and Megumi because I dun like her much XPPPP Poor Sano~ Plus, what the heck is Kaoru or Megumi doing with a Soujirou and Misao? What's a Soujirou doing with a Misao? O.o

Either way, went home and played on the computer until 5:00am and went to sleep around 6:00am after reading manga and excersizing a bit ^_~ My brother woke me up an hour earlier than I planned at 1:30pm, but I felt well rested enough to get up and take a shower... that's about it. Today I plan to study and update pages ^^ Wheee!
