I just am posting to say that I am archiving. Not going to change the layout, (I like), but this blog is in dire need of an archive, yo.
sable
oh my
Yes, I love the design, great job. :)
I'm tired and my hands hurt so I'll keep it short. I'm not the same person right now, my finals took out all my energy. =/

Doll Parts. The Zine
Thanks Maria, now the page looks better :)
I'm glad Numchux & Joey are back...
I'm at work right now and there's this incredibily hot guy who's drinking a coffee about 30 cms away from my face...
We're gonna work on a project together next week...*dreams* *drools* *comes back to reality* *sigh*
Man...what the fuck I'm doing here in Austria?
I feel alone...no, wait, I AM alone!
I have this damn song by Placebo stuck in my head...Special K or something like that...*sings along*...ok, I'm officially spamming too much today.
Numchux: I like your site! Compliments! I added it to the links on the right. *huggy*
- Glitter
My webpage!
It's finished. Yay. I like the way it's turned out.
Sorry that I haven't posted here much. I kept coming but nobody updated, so eventually I stopped. Sorry about that.
I've been sick lately. I don't want to move. I can't think of anything else to say.
-Numchux
Hey Joey, that guitar's the one you're naming Maria, right? Eh, EH??
Name your guitar after me and you don't even have to be a girl. :)
Hey everybuddy, look what Joey made for me: Trent and I, together forever (clicky).
-Maria
sable-
Good luck with Paul, I hope everything turns out great for you..

-joey the lovehate bitch.
WHOA!!!!
I fucking LOVE this new layout!!!!! :D I made the text all 8pt with CSS and also justified it ... you can't see in Netscape but anyone using that browser doesn't deserve to be viewing just a neat site as this. ;)
If you REALLYREALLYREALLY want to make it Netscape compatible I suppose you could go and type font size=1 RIGHT BEFORE the Entries Here thing for pitas ... it has to be right after that TD tag otherwise the font size is not accepted.
That's why I hate tables ... and looove CSS. :D
-Maria
Umm...why the font size turned out huge?
Awww...*screams*...I have the worst headache ever so maybe I'll go to bed now and I'll fix that later...*coughmariaorsablepleasefixitcough*
- Glitter
I changed the layout, I hope the new one isn't too...ewww...actually, it seems that it looks good only with 800x600 resolution...
Aghhh...I'm not too proud of it.
Anyway, I saved Sable's one on my disk. :)
- Glitter Babe
This place has turned into a chatroom for Sable, Glitter, and I. :)
Sable, in ninth grade, we had three teachers, also. The first quite after a week (death threat -- I went to school in the ghetto), the second was the toad man who stayed for a few months and taught us absolutely nothing, and then a woman came and stayed for the rest of the school year and taught us absolutely nothing but in a cool way, and she didn't resemble an animal. So it was neatness.
My art teacher in fifth grade used to play Presidents of the United States all the time. I didn't appreciate his coolness until years later. :)
Next year I'll be a TA for Mr. Dailey ... he's a really nice World History teacher I get along with well. My mother says he's cute but I didn't notice it. I am so beyond males already, I can't even tell if they're cute. Eek. And I've got to keep up appearances, too.
Anyway, he's 27 and I'm 15 and ugly, so I'll be listening to Pearl Jam (aka, hell freezes over) before I even THINK of rubbing his goatee. :)
Glitter: Vienna sounds like a wonderful city just by the name ... I have a real taste for words, lately. Probably because I've been ready Oscar Wilde, lately. His word usage and descriptions are amazing. Screw Shakespeare, Wilde is where it's at.
Psst: isn't sundaytodrown a cool name for a domain? I think so. I think that'll be mine. Chosenreject does sound pretty ... tacky?
Meh.
-Maria
My Hotel
We had a huge snowstorm here yesterday.
Vienna is a wonderful city, "the city as fairy tales" (as Austrian people like to tell to tourists)...there are a lots of monuments and places to visit and I really like it.
I live in a hotel because...well, first of all, I couldn't afford to rent an apartment and second, my hotel room is already payed, so...
Sable: aghhh, you have a sexy teacher!
I never had a a hot teacher...they were all ugly, old and married...and all my University teacher are women...*sigh*
I want to dye my hair...it's cherry red now but I want to dye it blue...but then again I'm too pale and with blue hair I would look like Morticia (sp?) Addams...blah...
- Glitter
The Sopranos
Maria- I submitted Kick Out the Jams! to be hosted by Riotstar.net and XxProzac.org, and have YET to hear from either of them. :( At least you did get hosted.
I have my TV eye on Andy (the - 23 year old - hot new math teacher), hee hee hee. :) I'm always up in his room getting help from him. We talk a lot, too, which is nice. Next quarter I'm taking him for both math and study hall, because he helps me out more then my current math teacher does.
My math teacher history... My 7th grade teacher was an old lady. My 8th grade math teacher was a middle aged lady. My 9th grade math teacher was a woman (but quit after the first day), the second one was a woman (she too, quit after her first day), but the third was a middle aged man, and wasn't attractive in my opinion - but was nice and was a good teacher. My 10th grade math teacher was an older woman (but she quit after the first 2 weeks), and the second math teacher was a young man (in his later 20's), and was handsome, but not enough for me to be attracted to him - but he was REALLY cool, we'd listen to Pink Floyd (and they were HIS albums). My llth grade math teacher (Paul - my current official math teacher) is older, but he's not ugly or anything. But ANDY. ANDY is one sexy man. I'm always rubbing his goatee. :D
*huggles* Maria, I'm sorry that you have such...uh...animalistic (?) math teachers... :( Is there any compensation?
Your new layout sounds REALLY cool! *is excited* :D
sable
I gave you this link already BUT VISIT IT THIS TIME, DAMMIT. :D
Nirvanclub.com's server is down and that means so is my site! Dammit! And just when I e-mailed a zillion domains to see which ones would actually accept me, even though I'm already at fiesty. :D
(Riotstar.net didn't ... I'm consoled my telling myself she didn't accept me because I have too much content, ha ha ha I'm a pathetic reject sob)
Glitter: Actually, Bekka is keeping space-kitty. Ay. Maybe I won't get a domain after all ... which sucks, I did want to host some people already, mainly Numchux and Youth Decay 'cause they "rawk" or whatever's the current slang is for nice people.
Sable - Russell Crowe? LUCKY. 8th grade, one looked like a toad. 10th grade, one looked like a turkey and the other looked like a dog. 11th grade, he looks like a dinosaur.
I'm getting an animal theme here??? :)
Speaking of my new layout I am, yes, succumbing to the rash of Marilyn Manson layouts that have broken out over the Internet. *hangs head in shame* Although I use an image from NIN's Starfuckers, Inc. video. I took a screen shot of Trent standing in front of the Hollywood sign and did some stuff with Photoshop do it's just the Hollywood sign and it's all illuminated and stuff and not messed up by becoming a trillion times larger than it's original size. I think I'm getting the hang of this program, finally!
-Maria
[Sir] Anthony Hopkins
Am I the only one who finds Anthony Hopkins to be incredibly sexy?? God, that man is sexy as hell. *purr* Fantastic actor, and that's majority of what makes him so fucking sexy. His talent gives him his looks, in my [humble] opinion.
Maria- Someone hacked into Rasmus' account? God, SOME people. *rolleyes* They need to get a life. Let us know when you move in, I can't wait to see your latest incarnation of your site!!
Glitter- That's really cool. How is Vienna? I don't like staying in hotels/motels for any long amount of time, either. Why don't you get an apartment for the time being? (Just curious.)
You don't have to e-mail me. I'm ok now. I tend not to dwell on things. Well, SOME things anyway. Besides, there's a hot new math teacher at my school. He looks like Russell Crowe. *PURR* :) ;)
sable
I haven't posted in a while, but I've been busy...I'm in Vienna now, baby!
Actually, the thought of living in a hotel room for 5 months doesn't excite me that much, but anyway the place isn't that bad.
My new office is pretty nice, and there's this guy who works with me who is so hot...*drools*
I know I promised loads of e-mails to lots of people (uh oh...included Sable, I think) but actually I'm pretty busy, plus I'm not in the mood to cheer people up, sorry *puppy eyes*
I should work on my site, but I've been sooo lazy lately...blah!
Sable: I'm sorry honey, I hope you feel better now! *huuuggy*
Maria: I think space-kitty is a lovely name for a domain...hope you get it (Bekka's selling it, right?)
- Glitter Babe
!FIESTY!
I'm moving. Space was getting restrained and the server was driving me nuts. No more nirvanaclub.com for me ... I'm going over to fiesty.net Fiesty.net/saturnine, actually.
Space-kitty.com comes later. :D
I got some dirty e-mails today from someone who must've hacked into Rasmus' account. I think I was supposed to be insulted by I'm pretty flattered.
Go figure.
-Maria
No Retreat, Baby, No Surrender...
Ok, Springsteen rocks. I don't care if you like him or not, I think he is about the greatest thing since sliced bread. And he makes for a good layout, too. ;)
Sorry it took me so long to getting around to fixing the image. So much shit is going on. Cute FTP is being a piece 'o' shit, cause it won't allow me to make any changes on any of my FTP-based sites (The American Ruse and Jesus Loves The Stooges). ARRG.
I'm also sorry that the image takes so goddamned long to load. I am forced to use Virtue.nu because Geoshitties is being, well, shitty.
Maria- I love the new layout! It looks fantastic!! If you get a domain, I surely want to see it, because it would be great! :)
Numchux- I - like Maria - can't wait to see your site!!! I'm quite proud of you, too, I'm sure we ALL are! :) I'm waiting as patiently as possible. :)
My mouth is hurting like a motherfucker. OUCH. I just had a cavity filled. *whinges* I wish that part of my mouth would go back to being all numb so I couldn't feel it. WHY can't it be like that anymore? *sobs uncontrollably*
And I have to go back into the dentist's office Monday, March 12th to get another cavity filled. You'd think my mouth would be cavity-free by the amount of time I spend brushing my teeth each morning...
sable
(o)
Sorry for dropping off the face of this pita as of late ... I think ... I've been procrastinating with everything.
I've got Adobe Photoshop now so yay! I can finally make images that look cool like on other web pages ... once I figure out how to work the damn thing. I tinkered around with it and made a new layout (checkitoutcheckitoutcheckitout) for my page I had to get up at once 'cause I'm still in the flush of this new graphics program. I will never use Paint again! And Carrie wasn't as bad a novel as I thought it would be...
Also I am getting a domain ... yeah yeah ... maybe maybe space-kitty ... I have many ideas for it. Numchux, I can't wait to see your site. :)
-Maria
Nope, I can't see the image either. It's happening with all of my Geocities images too.
I've been building a new website, writing the HTML and everything. I'm quite proud of myself. I'll be sure to give you the link when it's done.
I can't think of anything else to say. Bye bye.
-Numchux
Still Kickin' 'em Out!
ARRRG. Is the above image showing up for anyone? Because I'm not getting any image. Of course, this has been happening with most of my images uploaded onto my account(s) at Geoshitties. PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU SEE THE IMAGE OR NOT. Perhaps my computer is just a stupid, motherfucking, piece of shit. The same thing is happening at The American Ruse, but Indiebaby told me she is able to see the images, but I can't. Fuckin' a.
Glitter- Thanks babe! *huggles* I hope you didn't fail your exams! And good luck with your move!!
sable
I've had 2 exams at Uni this week, and I probably failed one...blah.
I bought a new guitar (this guitar, color black) and 2 nice stickers to put on it (a Hello Kitty pink glittery sticker and a purple Kill Rock Stars sticker).
I'm gonna move to Vienna on Monday, so next time I'll add an entry I'll be in snowy Austria...exciting thought.
Thanks god I own a laptop, so I'll be still able to use Internet, mwahahah! *evil laugh*
Sable: I read what happened with Paul, and I'm sorry. I'll send you an email to cheer you up. ;)
- Glitter
Kick Out the Jams! (Motherfucker!)
Numchux- Danny Fields seems to have agreed with you. Except he called Jim a "callous asshole". And this was the guy who pushed for "Light my Fire" to be a single.
Me, I think The Doors are ok. He may have been just a "drunk in leather pants", but he did have quite an impact on music. (As did The Doors as a whole.)
Pointless hear-say: Rumor has it, that when The Stooges were recording their second album, "Fun House", there was a mirror in the studio, that was one of those mirror windows (like the ones police use), and Jim Morrison used to sit in the room behind the mirror and watch The Stooges...
James, you have a point. When your a dead rock star, it just makes you damn near legendary. ...Unless you're Dave Alexander...
Maria- Riotstar.net is a pretty cool domain. But Toxicpink.net is my favorite. ;) (Maybe I'm bias because it's my host.) But I did apply to have my clique, Kick Out the Jams, hosted there. Hopefully, I'll get accepted. :)
sable
AWESOME name for a clique!
James - I think Glenn Danzig sounded more like Jim in his work with Danzig, not the Misfits. In the Misfits his voice sounded different to me. It was probably 'cause of his age. I have an .mp3 of Trent singing with a band from the 80's, and aside from the frightningly reggae-esque song, his voice sounds totally different.
(I had to make a NIN reference. Forgive me.)
Sable - riotstar is quickly becoming one of my favorite domains. I like that place very much. If I wasn't hosted at nirvanaclub.com I'd probably apply there. ;)
I submitted my site for one of those site review things, I hope they don't eat me alive. Eek. It's at envy.nu/wank, I think. Or virtue.nu/wank. Whatever. I was bored. As I still am.
-Maria
Hatt-baby, hatt-baby!
Well, looking at it that way, you might be right...I'll agree, his voice is pretty nice. I dunno. I guess I just don't get it. Oh well.
I've been cross-stitching. It's a lot of fun. And I'm almost done sewing a purse. Yay!
-Numchux
the Lizard King
Well, not really being a Doors fan myself, it's kind of weird to be defending him as a great artist, but he really was. First of all, he had a wonderful, powerful voice. His voice was like a darker Elvis (Glenn Danzig of the Misfits has a similar singing voice). Of course that is subjective; if you don't dig it, you just don't. His poetry is also subjectively very good. Evidently you don't see it that way, but that's okay. He really was a poet who put his poems to rock and roll, unlike the Beatles who wrote lyrics that could be construed as poems (think: Eleanor Rigby), but they weren't really poems. That was an innovative concept. Musically, the Doors were way out there, fresh and exciting. He put on a hell of a show; some nights he was a wreck, but some nights he was on fire (that's what people who've seen the Doors told me).
And lastly, he's dead. It shouldn't be hard to see how that helped his reputation grow. :)
James
I just think Jim Morrison was arrogant, and I don't see the big deal about him. As the wonderful Matt (Strangely_Not_Alex) said today, "He was just a drunk in leather pants." Yeah. I just don't get it. His lyrics aren't that great, he's not very good looking...someone clue me in.
-Numchux
Let's start a RIOT...
Ahhh. So I felt really bad about myself... Read more about it here.
Numchux- Why don't you like Jim Morrison? (Just want to know out of curiousity.)
Joey- Fortunately, two out of three of my brothers live out of the house, and if they still did live in the house, they probably would have kicked Phil out of bed before me. :) Cause I'm Tommy's favorite, and Bobby can't pass up picking on Phil. Ah, brotherly love, tis a wonderful thing... ;)
Glitter- I LOVE my Peppermint Lipsmackers. Lipsmackers ROCKS!!
sable
Not my Busy Hen!
I got some email! Woweeee! I'm glad I asked in my thread.
I'm still trying to figure out whether or not I like the Doors. I don't like Jim Morrison, so that gets in the way a bit. I think Creedence Clearwater Revival is my favorite band at the moment...
-Numchux
I love Lipsmackers
Aren't Lipsmackers cool?
I love them, but I can't find them here, grrr!
Luckily I bought a bunch of them last summer in Paris.
Umm...I used the word "them" way too many times :/
Anyway...I got drunk yesterday night, so my words don't make too much sense today.
I'm bored at this very moment.
I need to work on my site, but I'm too lazy to do it now.
IM me (screenname= GlitterandPetals) and you'll make my day.
I'm going out with Andrew tonight, yay!
- Glitter
ayee
my brother woke me up at one o clock this morning. "this is my bed room now"...he pushed me out and i went to the other one and had all this fucked up dreams and thoughts and it was odd...i was lying there awake but i was hearing voices about the civil war...ayee..i didn't get to sleep again til 6. then i got about an hour or two and woke up. blaah-joey the lovehate
Future/Now Films
Maria- My God that's horrible! It reminds me of what the Japanese army used to do. They'd play games which were, basically, they'd see an innocent person just walking down the street or something, and they'd bet each other to see if one of them could shoot the person. I'll visit the site, and call the number.
Numchux- I'll go hunt your thread down and reply to it! :) I love bargain shopping, too. Chicago thrift stores rock my socks! I got an extremely nice sweater there, that could have been going for, oh, 30 bucks, but I paid 90 cents for it! And it is an incredibly nice sweater - no stains or holes (except for the one I made on the bottom of the sleeve).
sable
The world is dull, but not today
Actually, today is dull. Oh well. I can't even think of anything to say. I bought a tie dyed hooded shirt yesterday. Not a sweatshirt. It's pretty. I'm a hippie now, hee hee. I also got a dark purple dress for three dollars. I'm such a bargain shopper.
Everyone go respond to my thread at NFC, nobody likes it. Booooo.
-Numchux
Brothers to the Rescue
I'm posting here because ... I was watching Univision, and for the first time, they were playing the tapes of what happened when the Cuban government planes shot down the unarmed Brothers to the Rescue planes that were flying in International Air Space. It was very disgusting. The Cuban air pilots were shouting in glee at having shot down the planes: "We've gotten those pricks! Let's watch them go down to the water! Fuck! They're never bother us again!" It really turned my stomach.
There's a number you can call ... it's long distance, but ... (305) 477-1868 ... they need 1 million names so they can bring Fidel Castro to court, since he has admitted he was the one who ordered his government pilots to shoot down those two airplanes and four young men.
I would like you visit the above website and decided to help. I knew those people ... and it's a horrible thing that's happened. For once maybe there can be justice. :(
-Maria
Till Victory...
My Valentine's Day was very good. :) Joey sent me and e-card. (Thank-you sweetie.) As did my friend Tamara. I also got a dozen red roses from my dad. Nothing from Paul, but I really wasn't expecting anything from him.
I got Paul a little bean rabbit, and a Cat in the Hat card. Inside the card was an exerpt from a Patti Smith song (co-written by Fred "Sonic" Smith - her late husband)...
In the medieval night
'Twas love's design
And the sky was open
Like a Valentine
All the lacy lights
Where wishes fall
And like Shakespeare's child
I wished on them all
It was good.
sable
P.S. - Remember to add your name at the end of your entries so that we know who you are. *ahem* Whoever posted I am eating a pita! *glares*
I am eating a pita!
Yay!
I passed my Modern History exam!
I'm an happy woman now :)
I hope everyone had a good Valentines Day...well, I had no one to spend my day with, but I got 2 cards and someone bought me a book (The Complete Poems by Anne Sexton) from my Amazon.com wishlist.
I don't know the guy (or the girl...?), but his/her name starts with a J.
J...John? James? Jason? Joey? Jane? Jessica?
Maria & Sable: wow, I'm flattered that you like the drawing because it was just a scribble that I made when I was heaps bored at Uni. Thanks babes.
Maria: I'm probably one of the few people who like airplanes...but aren't you happy to go to Europe? I bet lots of people would like it. Dunno why, since I live in the "old continent" and I don't find it exciting.
I went to see the band At The Drive In 2 nights ago...pretty good concert.
- Glitter
Jesus Loves The Stooges
James-
Yeah. I especially like his version of "Louie Louie". How he opens it up with, "Let's play a song for these pricks." (Or something like that.) Ha ha ha. I have video footage, too. Live footage of his solo stuff is mostly from TV shows and the like. But I do have footage of The Stooges performing at the 1970 Cincinnati Pop Festival, and Evening of Light - the short film Iggy did with Nico in 1969. :) I also have "Head On" which has live Stooges stuff.
sable
nicotinevaliumvicodanmarijuanaecstasyandalcohol
Nice layout. It's Nirvana-esque. Hey, Sable, do you have any live Iggy stuff? I was going through some shite, and I found a few bootleg albums that I had bought a few years ago when I was very into live stuff. There is this one show that was recorded in Switzerland; Iggy goes "It's great to be here in Switzerland. Yodelayheehooooooooo!!" Absolutely hilarious. Have to hear it though, not see it in print.
James CGIL
Ok, I uploaded it at my Geocities account, and it's not a broken image for me. If it is for you, tell me, and I'll fix it again.
sable
Ok, well, I had it uploaded at my toxicpink account, but it was a broken image for me then. For some odd reason it's not a broken image for me when I have it uploaded at virtue.nu. I don't know why it's doing that.
I'll try uploading it at my Geocities account, and we'll see what happens.
sable
Thanks Maria! *huggles* How about the new look for Hole.com's message board? It's odd, but I like it. Custom titles and avatars, woo-hoo!
Damn Virtue.nu to hell! *mad* ARRG!! I uploaded it onto a different server.
sable
I aligned the text (div align=justify) ... but the image map up on top is a broken link, Sable.
-Maria
I <3 this show.
Ok. I archived. I also made a new layout. I hope you like it, I'm not sure about it. *sigh* Maria, could you please align the text, so it's all straight? I can't seem to be able to do that. Ahhhh.
I'm getting excited for *Paul* and I's date this Saturday. I'm still kinda nervous. I find myself making pathetic small talk with him during lunch. I don't think he minds that much, though. If he does, then he hides it well.
I can always work up the nerve to ask a guy to the movies or something (it's always the movies, actually) but I can never work the nerve up to hook my arm around his sitting at the movies. *sigh* But this time is gonna be different, yes it is! I'm gonna swallow my pride and just do it, and hope he doesn't get mad about it, annoyed, or scared. I think he knows how I feel, but I'm not sure if he does. I think he does, but that could just as well be an ego stroke.
sable
