If she only knew how much he dreamed of giving her that feeling...but he could never leave well-enough alone. In his success he destroyed her, and with her himself. Too much for too many. He wanted to give all he had...forgetting it would leave nothing for himself. Now he prays every night only that she can forgive him. That he can forgive himself. And that what he has done may be undone in the course of time, as it should have been all along. Broken heart, broken faith, and broken dreams. He will suffer all that she suffers, and count his punishment well served.
