Sunday, went to Chels's. Rode her awesome motor bike. It rocks, man. So much fun I love it. Went to see Pirates of the Carribean with Scott and Stevey. It was a good movie! Orlando Bloom, such a stud. I wish he didn't have his long hair though :( Oh well, I'll live. I loved Johnny Depp in that movie. His character was great! I loved how he looked too, it was great. The dark eyeliner and beads in his hair, everything! Good story, too! I'm gonna have nightmares from the skeletons haha. Creepiness. It was a fun day. Guys came back over and ate some pizza with us and they rode the motor bike. They are so hilarious cuz they got all excited bout it, it was great. You should have seen the look on Scott's face when he drove by the house... oh wait! We got it on tape... MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Tuesday, July 22, 2003 09:26 p.m.

Camp Harlow: Day Camp 2
I really didn't want to do camp for some reason. I guess it was because I was being selfish and didn't want to give up a week to serve a bunch of little kids. I don't know, I was just so tired, and I was hoping the week to go by fast, and when Thursday night campfire came around, I started regretting my feelings I had. Man, campfire was awesome, the worship was great. I was sobbing. I was just reminded once again (but more than ever at this time) how much I don't deserve to have God love me like He does. I've been so unworthy the past few months. Being a lukewarm Christian, just being stupid. Now I won't see the Harlow people until springbreak. That's a long time :( Oh well, it's over, I can't go back and make it different. But I did still have fun. I got a lesson learned out of it too. I learned that even when I dont' want to go to Harlow sometimes but I'm obligated to, it's where God wants me to be. My future is there. I'm apart of the next generation of Harlow workers, and I'm excited :D Tuesday, July 22, 2003 09:16 p.m.

The Daffron's
Went to the Daffron's today at 2:00. It was "getting to know you at the Daffron's", and it was for incoming freshman to get a chance to go over to their house and get to know the highschool pastor Ryan Daffron and his wife, Mindy. There were about 15 kids there, and there was food and pop, and we hung out. Then Ryan asked us a few questions about us just to get to know us a bit and it was great fun! I love youth groups :) Highschool's gonna be fun! Although I will miss the middleschool group quite a bit! But I can't wait! WOOOOOHOO!!!!!! Sunday, July 6, 2003 06:43 p.m.
*tear*
Well, today Jessica announced that she and Justin are leaving. They're moving to Portland :( Sad! She was speaking today in church, and she was talking about and saying, "Y'know when you hope and pray for something for a really long time, and then it turns out to be a lot different than you expected?" Well, she was giving examples from the Bible, and then she got into this story from her own life. So, she starts with how she got the job as assistant middleschool youth pastor at Salem Alliance Church, and she had already met Justin and they knew they would be engaged and married and stuff. But anyways, she knew she would want to stay at this job for as long as God would allow, so her and Justin were praying for God to provide a job at SAC so they could work together. So, he got a part-time job at SAC leading worship at the college and young adults group, Fuel. And then, the Greater Portland Church (which Justin had been working at before he met Jessica and stuff) called and asked if he would be interested in doing a part-time job leading worship there. They decided to go along with it cuz it was like he was just filling in until they found someone for full-time. So it's been 2 years since then... and he's still there part-time and they asked him to be there full-time, so they decided, since it was kinda hard to go back and forth from Portland to Salem and it would be nice for him to have a full-time job, they're gonna move up there. They're already starting to move their stuff on Friday! I'm sad! But it's better for her to move this year than for her to have left last year cuz I got her for all 3 years, and she was my small group leader this past year! But I won't see her as much, like when I come into highschool group. And she's not down the street anymore! :( I hope they come back to visit off and on!!! It would be sad if they didn't! I wish they weren't leaving, but it's God's plan for them! And He knows best! It's better for them, too, which is definitely good. But I'll miss 'em! They're so great! Sunday, July 6, 2003 06:28 p.m.
It was nice to talk to him like that. It may have not meant much to him, but I thought it was nice. Sometimes, at school, it didn't seem like we were much of friends. But, we are. I'm glad :) I've known him too long to not be friends with him. Friday, July 4, 2003 12:10 a.m.
