WHEW!! I just had a really fun afternoon! I got home, and then at 3:30 Erika, Natalie, and Addie came over so we could go on a run for our Vegas tourney (that is this weekend by the way). So we ran up to McKinley and did some stuff up there and ran back, and then ate some good snacks! Erika had brought an AWESOME salad, and Nat brought nutri-grain bars (and a Tae-Bo video), and Addie brought some popcorn. And we ate our food and then afterwards had an awesome time doin Tae-Bo...SO GREAT! HAHAHAHAHA! I loved it. Now, to see if I can convince my mom to switch my P.E. classes...then my day would be even better. ;) Tuesday, January 28, 2003

Today has totally sucked. It's just been one of those days that are just....NOT GOOD. GRR. I hate school, I hate mondays and all that crap and Ahhhhhhhhhh!!! OK, I have NO idea how I could doubt whether soccer was for me or not??? AHHHH I am CRAZY! I LOVE IT!! Yesterday was just one of those bad soccer days I think. Those aren't fun they make me sad. I guess I was just feelin like I wasn't very good. But y'know, today, I was just realizing, everyone has the skill they need, and when you put them all together, you create an awesome effect! So yah, maybe I'm not the best player, but that doesn't matter, cuz I have a TON of fun. Today I wasn't feeling like going to practice, but it was great when I went!!! SO MUDDY! YAH BABY! JUST HOW I LIKE IT!!! I got mud EVERYWHERE! In my hair, on my legs, my hands, my shirt and shorts and shin-guards, cleats, eyes, mouth...(MMMM tasty, haha). Man, music is great. It lifts me up when I'm feelin' down, gets me going when I don't have energy, puts a smile on my face, and makes me go crazy!!! I LOVE IT!! I don't know what I'd do without it. Well, I guess if I had never heard of it I'd be OK...but that is beside the point. It's just one of those things that is essential for everyone. Everyone should have some sort of music to listen to! Plus, if you have a favorite band, it's ALWAYS great to find out that they're coming to your town, and then you go and see them live in concert! God is so gracious, He has blessed us all with something great, something that makes us happy, something that puts a smile on almost everyone's face: music. Thank Him for it! I am just so not knowing what to do. I love soccer, but then again, is it for me? Whenever I play, I don't always feel as if it is as fun as it was. It is, but it doesn't seem that way for some reason that I don't know of. I really want to play it at South, but I was thinking today, why couldn't I do volleyball? It's really hard, because soccer is awesome, and I love my team and everything so it isn't something I could just all the sudden leave! Ahhhhh!!! Maybe it's because I was tired today, I don't know. I love these movies. So good. And the hobbits are just so cute!!! (minus Sam...) Ahhhh!!!! Who'd of thought that short people with hairy feet and funky hair could be sooo CUTE! AHAHA! There's Merry (a.k.a. Dominic Monaghan), Pippin (a.k.a. Billy Boyd), and Frodo (a.k.a. Elijah Wood). I love all 3 of them! MUAH! Not only that, but there is a very good looking elf in there....hehe. 09:12 a.m.Snowboarding
Today was a very awesome and amazing day!!! Snowboarding up in the gorgeous mountains covered with bright, white, crisp snow, with great people and friends with the sun shining brightly is definitely my idea of a good time!!! It was so warm once you got started, that by the end of the day, all I had on was my t-shirt, no coats! I love it when you can do that...so nice. Except for when the snow cut my elbow... But it's all in a day of boarding!!! It's also just one of those great signs that Jesus Christ lives and reigns forever! He created the mountains and the beautiful weather for us. When you're boarding or skiing, you realize even more, why you do these things: to remind yourself that you're alive! My Glorious!That there is a great song. I love it, because when I sing it, I feel the presence of God all around me, embracing me. God truly is bigger than the air we breathe. When you think about it, that is huge! For me, whenever I feel as if I am alone, no one cares, or just plain feel like I'm the only person in the world who can't do anything right, I think of God. He comforts me, holding me close to Him. He is totally amazing!! I mean, He sent His Son to die on the cross for everyone. He was thinking of everyone when He was suffering through the whole crucifixion. Jesus rose again on the third day, conquering sin and showing the devil that He cannot be stopped and that love conquers all because He loves each and everyone of us! Now that that has happened, we are all free from sin, and are forgiven of every one of our sins. Jesus took it all upon Him that day, and then cast it out onto the ocean floor, never to be seen again. I don't know about you, but I know that there is not a more loving God then Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. That just puts a smile on my face. Each and everday, no matter how many things get on my nerves, no matter how much I dislike school, no matter how bad I feel about myself, I know that Jesus is there, always walking by my side. It's hard to believe how life must be without knowing Jesus!!! How could you carry on, where would you go for help...release from pain? Jesus holds the key to life and living. If you live for Him, you can't go wrong because you'll end up living eternally with Him in heaven!!! I am so overwhelmed when I think of all the love He has for me I could just cry! Knowing that I could spend the REST of my life with Him!!! Being in His presence of His awesome power and love. I can't wait. So, for all of you non-believers out there, just know this: if you ever feel like you aren't whole, like something is missing out of your life, then know that what is missing is Jesus, because there is a God-shaped hole in all of us, waiting to be filled up. Know that Jesus loves you and always will, no matter if you hate Him, don't believe in Him, or don't care. But He is ready and waiting for you to run into His arms whenever you are. All you have to do is tell Him, and you'll be His forever. It's a decision between life and death. Take this into consideration today, because I know that I don't want you to miss out on the chance of a lifetime: the chance to live with the One who died for You, forever. Sunday, January 19, 2003
