September 4, 2002- a milestone in our lives...not really. more like the same 'ol same 'ol that goes on every year. the only new thing was that we became 8th graders. i really didn't feel like one at all tho. i was always thinking i'd see a mob of the 8th graders from last year come walking around the corner...but no! thank goodness for that! i was so sick of them...gosh. PURE ANNOYINGNESS!!!!!!!! some of them (but only some) were nice! well, last year is over and now it's my turn (along with my friends) to be the 8th graders. yay!!! tomorrow is the real start of the year...all the work....NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Duck Football
Well, while most of you spent your Saturday watching the first duck game on the tv, I was there in the action! Kyla was nice enough to invite me along for my first Duck game at the actual Autzen Stadium, and man, did I love it! It was great and I have decided that I want to go to U of O more then ever! It's so great to see the Duck mascot drive out on the back of that awesome Duck motorcycle and the music is playing and the football players run out and all that sort of thing! Jason Fife did great for his first game! He did have some wobbly passes, but he pulled through and made great plays, passes, and runs! Ahhhhh! The only bad thing was those stinkin' Mississippi fans ringing those stupid cowbells! Gosh, those are ANNOYING!!!!! And where we were sitting was like, right next to their section. But whenever they rang them I was just like, "You're not the ones who are winning!" MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! Good stuff...but the BEST stuff was yet to come......;-) hehe. Okay, we were waiting for the game to start and there was still about 40 minutes left. All of the sudden the students start cheering and Kyla and I were like, "why are they cheering?" So we look behind us up at the Duck Vision screen to see if there was something on there, but they were just showing some Duck Volleyball highlights. Then all of the sudden (we're still looking around at this point), Kyla's dad says quite calmly "Oh look, there's Joey Harrington." Then that is when we totally freak out!!! We're like, "WHERE?!?!?!? WHERE IS HE?!?!?!?!" I was the first to see him and I started freaking out even more and Kyla still hadn't seen him and I was like "HE'S RIGHT THERE LOOK RIGHT THERE, RIGHT THERE!!!!" Then when she saw him she started freaking out and then we were both like freaking out even MORE than before and we were saying "OMGOSH IT'S JOEY I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!" As some of you know, I have a plan to marry him, so you could guess I was very excited about seeing him in real life!!! So we went down to the bottom of our section, as close as we could get to the field, and it was pretty close too! He started walking over the field goal that is right in front of us, and we were yelling "Joey!" trying to get his attention. He did look our way and we waved and he saw us!!! Ahhhhh! I have never been more happier I don't think! (Well, I probly have, but you know what I mean) WOW! It was awesome, he's even hotter in real life!!! When the game finally started we had to go back up to our seats, but we always had our eye on where he was! It was kind of hard to see which one he was because everyone had the same shirts and then khaki shorts on! AHH! The only way we could tell who he was is because he had black flip-flops on and the way he was standing :D AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Too much cuteness going on with him!!! Goodness gracious. Don't worry, I know I am way too over-obsessed!!! ;o)

I got the new Dixie Chicks CD yesterday...very good CD! CHICKS RULE!!!!!!!!!!

The Fair!
I have not written an entry in a looooooong time! Well, I went to the fair with Lauren, Erika, Chels, Megan, and Addie. It was very fun! I went on the swings, the music express, the Starship 2000, the Super Loop, the Tornado, the Enterprise, the Space Orbit, the El Nino, and even the Haunted House and the Fun House...those we went in like, 1000 times. haha!!! Good stuff. Oh yah, there were a lot of hotties at the fair! ¡Ay Caramba! ¡Muy caliente! haha! It was fun...I love the food. It's great. Oh yah, and the pigs are really HUGE and nasty and they smell. The goats are cute, and so are the cows. :) hehe...well I better go!

In life, there are lots of curveballs thrown at you. Some good some bad. But when God throws a curveball, don't duck, because you just might miss something.

Hmmm...I am supposed to run today and I haven't gone yet. I also have no idea when I am going to go because I feel VERY lazy. I've been spending my days lately hanging out and eating...and not doing my work outs. I think I very much need to get back to school! NO MORE EATING AHHH! Fun Times...
Today, I went over to Hilary's house to watch the Lord Of The Rings with Lauren and her and Erika cuz Lauren had never seen it before. Well, it turned into a crazy time where I kept on yelling at Lauren cuz she wouldn't pay attention to the movie cuz I thought she had wanted to see it, and then we also were laughing at how girly Frodo can look during the movie when he's happy.

We were freaking out I'm tellin' ya! He doesn't look like a girl when he's worried, but yah...Anyways, we were then talking about how he's really hot but his hobbit hair and how he is in the movie makes him girly and it was just all confusing. It's so funny how he is just a spaz.

Yes, we had a fun time on the internet talking to some people, sometimes talking about me...you know what I'm talking about Hilary...Lauren...Erika......his older brother....grrr...oh well, it was all just a swell time!

Bored and Stuff
I am BORED! I have nothing to do today. I'm sure my dad will find things for me to do tho...bleh. Oh well! I am excited I am going to church tonight! Even if it is 5:00 service, it's all good. I will be REALLY tired tho. I hope some people that went to the Seattle trip will be there! Maybe, maybe not. Probly not tho. I am downloading the song Lunch Lady Land right now! I can't wait to listen to it, AHAHA!

Seattle
WOOHOOOO!!!! I just got back (at 11:00) from a trip to Seattle with my youth group! It was sooooo much fun!!! Ahhh! I was with Julia and Kara, and the van we chose to go in, happened to be a van where we were the ONLY girls!!! Ahhh! It was INSANE!!!!!! But at least Erik was driving ours...I think we had the coolest van...anywho, we got to watch the mariners vs. yankees game and it was soo much fun, even if we were in the nosebleed section which didn't really matter cuz i'm not obsessed with baseball and also you can see everything from anywhere! During that time we amused ourselves with watching the baseball players just be weird, listened to Erik make fun of the New York Yankees players' names (hey Bernie, where's your friend Ert??? where's your rubber ducky...haha! good stuff...), watched Erik and Brady try to get on the screen by dancing, doing the wave with our group, pouring water on people's heads, and walking around doing nothing! It was great...also, on the way up to Seattle, we got a taste of a TOTALLY AWESOME Adam Sandler song: "Lunch Lady Land", no hands down the coolest song! IT IS SO FUNNY AHHHHH!!!!!! Hoagies and grinders, hoagies and grinders, hoagies and grinders, navy beans, navy beans, navy beans, SLOPPY JOE, SLOPPY, SLOPPY JOE! HAHAHA!!! Ahhh good times, good times...I must be off...parents will get mad at me for being up late!!! Adios!!!!!

YEAH!! Today I am going to Seattle with my church! I am so excited! I haven't been able to go these past couple of years cuz of the CQTs, but this year the trip doesn't fall on the same weekend as qualifying! I can't wait to go to the Mariners game and then Wild Waves. The Mariners will be playing the New York Yankees! That should be a good game...I am looking forward to watching Erik try to get the wave going, hehe :] Wild Waves will be totally awesome too! Never been there before, I actually haven't even been to Seattle! Ahh! That is crazy, huh? Man, I haven't been to church in SUCH a long time! I begin to miss it :[ Finally, I will get to be with the crazy people of the.link!

Tonight I saw one of the funniest things I have seen in awhile: I was in the car with my dad and sis after we picked her up from the Hastings. We stopped at a stoplight, and all the sudden, this group of some old guys on these Harleys came down, made a California stop, and then kept on goin'! The fact that it was just so random (and the fact that they were OLD guys on HARLEYS) is what made it so funny. haha! I love the random things that just make you crack up.

Well, I found some interesting writings in my guestbook this morning. It kind of made me mad...one of them said "You need to get a life you stupid jesus freak...and stop thinking your good at football cause you suck.and you also need to go to a drug dealer to get all this crap off you and youll get a getto stoner like you should be!" I don't know what offended that person, because first of all I never said anything about football in my site. Secondly, I am just stating what I want in this site and if he doesn't like it, then he shouldn't be reading it in the first place! But what makes me mad is the person saying "you need to get a life you stupid jesus freak..." I'm sorry if I believe in something, but that doesn't mean that you should insult me because you don't believe it! It can be so hard to be a Christian sometimes, with people that hate you and are totally against you because of your beliefs. It gets annoying when you try to tell someone about Jesus, and they don't want to listen even one little bit. But that is also somethin that kinda keeps me going. I love dc Talk...what a great band. I luv shopping too. It is quite fun. I am so bored today...it is really really hot. UGH. Enough of my complaining tho, I'm just glad I don't have to go to work at Roth's for 4 hours like my sister, haha! I am hungry, hmmm...I get to watch Orange County tonight, good movie, very funny. Lord Of The Rings is very good too! I am like, already totally obsessed and I just watched it on Sunday night. Then on Monday I started it again, finished it on Tuesday, and then started watching it again at Hilary's house...throughout the whole movie, I was trying to figure out if Elijah Wood is hot or not, and I came to this conclusion: during the movie when he is a hobbit and he is happy, he gets really freaky lookin and starts to look a little too girly...not too great. But then when he is worried (which is pretty much the whole movie), he looks actually like a guy. Then I decided, "yes, he is hot" especially when I saw pics of him with out his nasty long hair and his gorgeous blue eyes. I am likin what I see! hehe! Ahhhhh too many hot guys in this world. I don't know which one is the hottest! There's Josh Hartnett, Brad Pitt, Shane West, Tyler Burkum, Toby Mac, Kevin Max, Sean Biggerstaff, Elijah Wood...yup, too many hot guys, but I really don't mind it at all!

Having a BBQ with your soccer team (that has crazy gals on it) and then going swimming for 2 hours playing basketball that turned into more like tackle football (it got kinda violent...) and doing diving contests is definitely what I call a good time! I love my soccer team! They are so awesome! We encourage eachother, are all friends, and work well as a team! It's great to be on a team where you feel like you can accomplish somethin great. You win together, and you lose together. Somethin that I'm happy to be able to look back on is the great time I had playing soccer with the SUSC Alliance!

As of today, the soccer team I hate the most is the Portland Westside Metro. That's all I need to say.

GO SUSC ALLIANCE!!!!!!!!!!! We totally kicked butt today! YEAH BABY! Today was the first day of the CQTs (classic qualifying tournament) and in both of our games we scored 3 (the most you can score that they will actually count) and shut both teams out!! That means that we have the most points that you can actually get in one day, and we're the only team in out age group that has done it! Ahhhh I am like, sooo pumped up right now I can't believe it...all I can say is that we're gonna do the best we can tomorrow, and that we really wanna win!

I just got back from running a little bit ago, and I really actually enjoyed it! I've been having to do this whole work-out running thing for soccer this whole summer, and it's really paying off out on the field! I like it tho, because it's a way that I can just get out of the house and go off by myself. I take my little radio with me and turn it to Air1 radio, and just listen to my favorite music. It's a nice way to just have some time with God. The music may be playing, but I can still be with Him and have conversations with Him a lot easier. It really is great!

Hey! I got a question for ya!: If you were a hotdog and you were starving to death, would you eat yourself? I would, I'd be so delicious! I'd smother myself in relish and mustard! Oh! It'd be wonderful!

Ahhhhhhhhh! I am VERY bored! I have NOTHING to do! I love summer, but it just gets so BORING! I've been listening to music and stuff practically all day. But that is something I love to do! I always have to have some sort of sound when I'm by myself at home. Whether it's music or tv, but usually music. I just LOVE to turn up the stereo REALLY loud and just listen and listen and listen to the radio (Air 1 the best station!) and CDs and all sorts of stuff. Hey again! Well, I am just quite bored right now (as I usually am...but what else is new during the summer?) so I decided to write in here! I had to get up really early in the morning to go get my stupid blood drawn! Yah, that is NOT cool! Oh yah, and on top of that, they had to stick the needle in BOTH my arms cuz the first arm they couldn't find the vain! Man, what do they want from me? I don't think I like having someone stick a fat needle up my arm and take my blood. Oh well, at least it's over with.....I really really really need to meet Toby Mac! I don't know about any of you, but I LOOOOOVE Toby! YUMMMMMMMMMM! On Air 1 I could get a chance to meet TOBY!!! I COULD HAVE A BACKSTAGE DINNER WITH HIM! I just have to win the trip to the Puget Sound Festival in Redmond Washington...I could meet lots of other bands too! But I MUST meet Toby!
