I have application essays to write, and rec letters to obtain, and GRE to study for, and committees to plan (I am NOT a committee!), and shirts to order for Phi Alpha Theta shirts to order... ack!! I am insane!... More insane! XD
Good news though. S, I'm almost positive I'll be able to come to H'vegas for your 21st! I'm SO happy! So barring near-death experiences or alien abduction, I will be there. I'm glad, b/c I miss you. And Jo, and Kim, and Anne-girl, and E... and everyone.

This weekend was fun! Amanda K. came to visit us this weekend! Yay! Thanks, hon! We've missed you! And I'm SO happy you're applying to JET with me. ^_^ Now if we can just persuade you to move back... remember, you can't watch anymore Fruits Basket until you at least come looking at apartments! Ara owns the only copy in your world. *cackles* And if you don't come... well, we'll just have to kidnap you and make you live the cupboard under the stairs.

I bought a Ty stuffed white tiger this weekend. He's soooo soft. And his name is Gilbert. I was going to name him something exotic, but his name just IS Gilbert. He wanted to be named Gilbert. I was listing off all these cool, foreign names, but he insisted on Gilbert. *shrug*
And then I painted my toenails glittery red, so they look like the Ruby Slippers! *.* Thank you, Anne for that idea. It made my day. ^_^

Well everyone, I changed my Random Thought. As yesterday was the anniversary of 9/11, I thought it appropriate. It is exactly how I feel on the subject.
I also want everyone to understand that my comment about 9/11 in my last post was not me trying to undermine the importance of it to me, to the country, or to the world. My heart breaks at the thought of all of the orphans and widows and widowers created by the tragedy. All of the people who lost sons, daughters, friends. It was truly a great national tragedy, and our generation has been permanently altered by it.
I hope everyone is doing well! I miss talking to everyone! But hey, we're all psychotically busy. >.<

Here's an article that was on msn.com this morning. Just one more reason I HATE THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION!!!!! Attacking Irag when NO ONE agrees with us. Oh my god, hello, let's just throw the world into a potentially nuclear war because Bush wants to keep his popularity with the Good Ole White Boys. I am NOT happy. I hate ANY war, but this is ridiculous. He's still using 9/11 as an excuse for his fucking war, and that also pisses me off. There's just no respect anymore. It's not respectful to anyone who lost their lives that day to use them as an excuse to continue with bad foreign policy.
And while I'm ranting about this, did everyone know that Bush wants big business to regulate their OWN emissions?! *snort* Yeah, um, that's cool. -_- (<= sarcasm.)
There are several other bones I have to pick with Monkey Man, but I'll leave them for a later date.

Well everyone, I MUST be insane b/c I got the internship and I've decided to do it. Anyway, this really does mean I will likely be online only sporatically, so if you need me for anything the best thing to do would be to e-mail me (or post in the club, S, Kim, and Jo!) because I will still be checking it daily.
S, if you're gonna call this weekend, I'll be at home Friday night and Saturday, and then I'll be back at the apartment on Saturday night (hopefully).

Well, this semester is going to be INSANE. Or maybe it's just me who's insane. I've now been to all my classes. Between going to 3rd year Japanese in which we are not allowed to speak any English and not understanding the prof most of the time (luckily it's not just me- the entire class just stares at her in horror), going to my History honors seminar where the prof wants us to read the entire Elements of Style by next week, and says if we don't follow it to the letter, we'll fail, and going to an Anthropology class where our entire grade rests on a final project and 2 take-home exams, I'm a little freaked out. And I shouldn't forget my appointment with my faculty sponsor for my honors thesis, and my job, and the clubs I'm in... and officers of. Oh and the ever popular GRE studying and job/ grad school searches!
Did I mention that my Japanese prof is requiring us to go to at least one outside of class study session a week? At least one. And she's taking attendence. -_-;;
Oh, and stupid me, I have an interview for an internship at INPIRG in about 20 minutes.
Maybe I'm taking on too much...? >.< Anyway, if I don't blog for like a month or something, don't worry. I'm likely not dead... yet. Though I might be by the end of this year. Isn't your senior year supposed to be EASIER??!! *snorts*
I know everyone will be insanely busy this year. Ger, I'll miss you babe, but I understand.
