arrgh i really need a new layout. going from 800x600 to 1400x1050 is killing me when i look at my blog. its just like, "*tiny*" and i'm like, "ewwwwwwwwwww"

just got home from shopping with my mom... @_@ we bought so much stuff!!!!! we went to bed, bath, & beyond, target, and tj maxx. XD haha. i got some fun stuff and some essentials... it was good.
we were driving over to target through the parking lot and i saw a guy taking care of the carts and i was like, "hey, that looks like that guy from physics..... hey, it IS that guy from physics!! *big smile* ::waves::" so that was fun. i haven't seen jason loomis in a looooong time. (i know way too many jasons.) so he brought over the carts and while i was being amazed at the wonderful cart-pulling technology, we chatted a little bit. it was nice ^_^ i miss talking to him and harassing him every day!
ahhh, i have to go to work this afternoon. -_-; tomorrow i have off, but i really need to get some nice clothes for school. so i'll have to round up my fashion gurus and take a trip.
i switched over my bank account. i guess i'd better change that paypal thing... hmm.....

hung out with luis after the gettysburg dinner thing (which was actually really fun! everyone's so nice ^_^) and we talked a lot about things i hadnt thought about before... why people have a fear of dying, what our real life goals were, what our biggest fears are... it was quite an enlightening discussion. fun ^_^

omg, otakon was AMAZING and l'arc en ciel was AMAZING and i'm so tired but so happy.... it was SO FUN!!!! arrgghhhH!!! i cant express the joy!!!! i saw my favorite band in concert. after they broke up. and got back together. and decided to come to the US. its all the things i was never expecting. and i was there!! *_*
saw some awesome cosplayers there... legato was really good. there were a rare few who recognized that danielle and i were from bakuretsu tenshi, but almost all those who did were like, "omgomgomgomgogmg can i take your picture???" some of them were even professional-looking, and danielle and i got interviewed by people with tofu records o_o they were like, "you're the only people here with bakuretsu tenshi outfits, which has JUST been licensed. TELL US ABOUT YOURSELVES NOW!" it was kinda scary, especially when she was like, "yeah, our other camera man is obsessed with meg..." i was like, "i think i should run away if i see him..."
l'arc en ciel was SO GREAT in concert. they did a lot of songs from their new album, and some of my favorite others, too... like "stay away" and "blurry eyes" and "driver's high" and... the list goes on. interesting things, like hyde and his "crebs" and the crowd not understanding him... ken pointing out the fact that he was so much taller than the rest of the band members... ken... geez... "who am i??" "ken!!!" "WHO AM I???" "KEN!!!" "no, DOLPHIN!!" and then tetsu... "are you ready to go bananas???" *crowd screaming* ::tetsu throws bananas at crowd:: good times. they have more of a hard-rock sound now, which i like, and it sounded really good with their older songs, which were generally more pop than the new ones. i'm still in awe. my cd should be coming in the mail soon XD
so, it was really fun. thank god andrew and austin were able to take our bags for us while we were at the concert!! *glomps* you guys are teh r0x0r5. we also saw steve from the anime group while we were waiting in line to get in... i was like, "hey, that looks like steve!" "hey, it is!" "STEVE!!!!" it was fun ^_^ we met up again later in the dealer's room, and he and luis hung out for a bit while danielle and i checked out the game room and stared in awe at the DDR masters. o_o it was insane.
i also ran into paula and her group!! it was fun!! i saw them walk by when we were in line, but by the time i determined that it must be them (two girls wearing military uniforms and another in a full-length black velvet dress... who else could it be?) they were way past us, so when they walked by again when we were going to get our tickets stickered for the concert, i stopped them and i was like, "are you paula? i'm jenny!" and it was fun, because i was right ^.^
the only thing that really sucked was that the 0 i took out to spend there... i left AT HOME. IN MY OTHER PURSE. i was so angry!! luckily i had in my wallet, so i was able to pay for my ticket and a pretzel for lunch... x_x it was bad. but we got food on the way home, so i'm ok now. ^_^
and it was great spending the day with danielle and luis. luis got to be our bag-holder while people were taking pictures of us. it was really fun.. haha! i can't wait until next year... we're definitely doing the whole weekend thing. NOT just one day!! andrew and austin offered to drive me back tomorrow if i stayed for the rave, but i was like, "......no." definitely not with that short notice, and since my parents drove us down, that would be weird. *nodnod*
well, thats all i really have to say. i'll probably get pictures developed tomorrow, and then i'll post them... somewhere... in a really easy album. i dont want to arrange them all x_x

got a call from luis right after i got out of work. he threatened suicide. x_x i gave him my chaps, the leather straps, and buckles today at work so he could rivet them on when he got home... i'm hoping that 1) my chaps dont have blood on them when they're returned to me and 2) luis survives the ordeal. it seems as if he's stuck with all of the really really hard work. hmmm...
I CANT WAIT FOR SATURDAY!!! i almost forgot about it while i was at work, but then i ran into luis' mom while i was closing the gate, and she was like, "how's your costume coming???? i've heard so much about it!!! i cant wait to see it!!!" and i was so happy ^_^ she's so nice and fun!!! i'm so excited to get everything done. i'm going to shorten the top tomorrow and attach the blue siding, then i'll figure out a way to put the brown part on and see if i can figure out how to finish the wrist bands.
wow, it seems so much later than it actually is. the air conditioner broke at work today x_x it was death. hot, sticky, humid death. i drank so much water i felt like i was going to explode, and i was still thirsty. then i came home and finished off the cherry jubilee ice cream ^.^ i just took the box down to the computer with me, and my mom was like, "... i cant believe you're finishing that whole thing" and i was like, "...its not that much!!!" "IT'S A QUARTER OF THE BOX!" "actually, more like 1/5...."
i'm gonna go check my clay stuff and see if it needs another coat of paint. hopefully not. i still have silver on my hands. -_- ITS EVERYWHERE! arrghh! i need to do laundry ><

ahh, i made an awesome dinner XD i found pork tenderloin in the freezer, so i defrosted it and seasoned it and stuck it in a pan with some olive oil and potatoes and put it in the oven to cook... it turned out so well! i hope i remember the combination of seasonings i used for next time... after rifling through the fridge for vegetables, i ended up making some really yummy broccoli and peppers to go with it. :9
this morning... i woke up kinda early because the dog was making noise and jason was trying to break in >:O so i wandered around the house a bit, played some piano and guitar, did a very rough sketch of a jrocker, and then decided that i was a bit tired and slept for the next 4 hours. that was nice. i think danielle came in while i was asleep. at least i hope so, because otherwise my dreams are getting way too real. she needed to pick up her costume stuff so she could work on it.
so this guy from gettysburg called while i was seasoning my tenderloins and he was all like, "i have an accent so i'm going to talk and you're just going to say yes a lot and pretend you understand me." but really. he told me (i think) that because of my SAT scores, i can be in an honors math class... and he pointed out that i wasnt signed up for math first semester (which i probably should have gotton out of the way when i actually kind of remember stuff) and he told me to email him if i was interested in taking this calculus class... which, apparently, has the same tests and stuff as the normal class, but i'd have to work harder for my grade and i'd get to try more challenging problems. now, i dunno. the problems that i did in calc last year seemed challenging enough for me :O so i'm not sure what i'll do... i was hoping that, being a psych major, i wouldnt have to take calc... man, i wish i had had a meeting with my advisor to help me pick classes >< i'm so clueless.
well, now that that's all said, i'm hungry again. time for chai and milanos!! ^.^

ahh, tonight was fun, except i feel bad because 1) we were being really loud and my aunt had to come out and tell us to be quiet and 2) luis had to take taberis home, and he's at his dad's this weekend.
anyway, it was amusing. we didnt play mafia, and we didnt play any other games (although danielle wanted to play pictionary), and we completely failed at making a fire, but it was still fun. for some reason, tab and luis decided to team up against me, so i was being tortured and tickled all night >< and luis kept hitting me with hair bands, too! i swear, i'm going to have welts and bruises all over my body by tomorrow morning -_- but it was still really fun. we'll have to do that again. maybe next time danielle can think of a name for luis.
i'm kinda tired now. i can sleep in tomorrow!!! i might run to walmart at some point to get more stripe stuff for the skirt, and perhaps i'll actually get something else done on the costume during the afternoon.
i dont think ed likes the fact that i'm friends with luis... he gets in a bad mood when he sees us talking, and its not like we're slacking off or anything. it's either really slow or we're talking about store stuff, like how to log in to the main screen. oh well. i dont really care. we dont work together that much, anyway. today was a rare exception. and it was really fun XD i kept putting stickers on his back and carlos would see and we'd just crack up and he'd have no idea... i like conspiring with carlos ^.^ its fun!
i'm thinking that bed should be soon.... ::falls asleep:: fighting off guys is exhausting. so it getting tickled continuously. =_=

omg........................
so, today, i was having some difficulties at work because ed told me to look for something in the gift certificate folder, some discrepancy, but he didnt tell me what exactly i was looking for, so i went through it for over an hour and i didnt find anything out of the ordinary and he was like, "well, you can look through it again some other time." -_-;;;;
also, the windows wouldnt go up on the land cruiser (which i had to take to work so my dad could check out my car [it was yelling at me yesterday]) so i had to leave them open and i was freaking out all afternoon because its supposed to storm tomorrow...
wtf! i keep hearing all these explosions! it sounds like a pack of squirrels decided to commit seppuku by jumping onto transformers...
so anyway, at lunch i tried to go online again, which worked, but it wouldnt let me sign off... so that was up all night. i was in the car at a stop light trying to fix it and it turned green so i put the phone on my lap, but of course, as soon as i turned, it fell off into the abyss on the side of the seat... took me forever to get it out...
got to my driveway, there was a car parked in front of it -_O and by this point i was really pissed, so, with all my windows open, i screamed "I CANT EVEN GET INTO MY FREAKING DRIVEWAY!!" so i went down the street, turned around, and came up ready to park on the side when nicci came over (from next door) and was like, "um, my dad can move the car... we didnt realize you couldnt get in..." and i was like, "omg, i hope they didnt hear me ><"
so the car was moved, and i called mr. ricks over to help me with my windows... i feel so stupid. see, in the audi, you push on the front of the button to make the windows go up and the back to make them go down. in the land cruiser, all my pushing on the front was in vain. i forgot that you have to pull the buttons up instead of pushing down. so i felt like a complete loser by the time i walked in the door -_-
GOOD NEWS. i have off tomorrow. carrie and april are heading down in the morning to hang out, and i think i'm going to stop by black and decker at some point to steal some cardboard and see if i can talk to luis a little bit. that should be fun. i can also go to walmart while i'm out.
i also want to call nate so we can hang out sometime. and i need to organize a mafia party for saturday night. ahhh, why does life seem chaotic right now? it's so fun XD

wow, i havent updated since monday! *gasp!* and guess what! NOTHING HAS HAPPENED!
well, i lied. yesterday i cleaned the house in the morning, and then nate and i went out for lunch and back to my house, where we sat and chatted and he played guitar and i taught him how to play egyptian rat screw ^_^ it was fun. i won every time, but he was doing pretty well for a first-timer. i was actually scared of losing a few times! so that was fun, and i was really sad when i had to go to work :( but hopefully we'll hang out again soon.
i have bought so much crap off of ebay lately. well, not really so much, and its not crap, either. its stuff i need. erm, want. i got sock glue a few days ago, the auction for the socks ends tonight, and i did a buy-it-now for the sheet music for chopin's waltz in c# minor, op. 64, no.2. i cant wait ^_^ i had a mighty need to play it today, so i had to order it. i should be able to work on it this weekend or next week sometime ^.^ <- excited
worked on my costume today... i had to force myself to. it was bad. so i put all the stripes i could on the skirt (i ran out of stripe material, so i need to swing by walmart again at some point.) and then i started working on the top... omfg... it took me so long and i'm still not even close to done >< i had to hand-sew all of it so far, and it looks like that's how i'll be doing the rest. but after that, the most painful part will be over. then i'll just need to figure out how to finish the accessories (i keep forgetting to bring home cardboard from work! ><) and get rid of my tan lines...
work again tomorrow. then OFF!

i'm hungry again. wtf is this?!?!
found a present for me when i got to work ^_^ a dvd to watch from luis. how nice and unexpected! (i just heard the rain start XD i was so sad when i left work and it wasnt storming!! i was looking forward to it.) speaking of work, today was full of it... pool 10-12 and B&D 1-9... but it went really fast. i was talking with carlos about school and teaching him the register a bit, and i also cleaned up a lot... omg, those counters were so disgusting. of course, they were covered with papers for so long (which i also organized, tyvm) that no one noticed -_-
soooooooo this week should be good. if it's relatively nice out tomorrow morning, i think i'll run in the park. otherwise i'll do my standard non-cardio morning exercises and pretend that vaccuuming the house is a workout. hopefully i'll get more done on my costume, too.... i at least want to start on the top and finish the stripes on the skirt. making buckles/finishing accessories/figuring out the chaps will have to wait for another day. i also have to win one of the auctions for the thigh-high white socks on ebay. i cant believe how hard it is to find plain white thigh-high socks!!! arghh!! so frustrating >< but at least this costume will be really cute when its done ^_^ i cant wait!
i called nate back during my dinner break and made psuedo-plans for friday. i'm off ^_^ and i'm working in the morning on saturday for a change, which will be quite nice. sunday i'm off again (*gasp!* what's going on?!) and then i think i have off next tuesday... they're letting up on me a bit, which is nice because i really want to have that free time to work on my costume and get all the details for otakon ironed out.

got a 5 on the ap psych exam XD i think everyone at wyo did incredibly well... we were so prepared, it was insane.
yesterday was SO FUN!!! XD all of us went to ocean city, NJ for danielle's 18th birthday (happy birthday, danielle! ::glomps::) and we spent most of the day on the beach... i love the ocean!!! and i didnt get burnt, either... my tan lines from my guard suit are still there, but i got a little more tan, so they're not as incredibly drastic as they were before. still quite noticeable, though. -_- after we were done at the beach (around 5) we cleaned up (kind of) and went to the boardwalk. we found a japanese restaraunt and the rice was so yummy... ::drools:: ah, it was really good!!! after dinner we played DDR (and i sucked XD but not as bad as i do at danielle's house. i have two huge blisters on the bottoms of my feet from my shoes, and it was so painful to play x_x) and went in a shop and went home. it was an enjoyable day ^_^
now i have to figure out what i want to do for my 18th birthday.... hmmm..........
today i'm going to spend most of my time working on my meg costume. my mom is home to help out (*gasp!*) so i wont have to kill myself trying to fit the dress and make the chaps fit ^_^;; i dont like getting stabbed with pins. it's not fun. i've already done it too much.
the bottom of the dress is going to be really annoying, because it's all... //// like that. but i remember doing carrie's kid costume with that kind of stuff on it, and it wasnt too bad. i'm just going to need a whole lot of patience and some good seam rippers.
speaking of seam rippers, i cant find mine >< maybe they'll have some at AC Moore or something... i'll look when i go get the paint. hopefully i'll remember to take some of the blue fabric so i can match the color. this is gonna be so cute when it's done!!! i cant wait!
i listened to l'arc en ciel's "ray" album when i was finishing the hem on the skirt. its really good, less pop-sounding than some of their other albums. and hyde is amazing in every song. that's one of the reasons he's awesome-- his voice is so versatile!

i'm off for the rest of the day XD got dennis to go in for me this afternoon! and then i'm off ALL DAY tomorrow (even for swim lessons)... but i have to mow the lawn sometime. thats the only downer. and now, after talking to paula (a girl from nj who i "met" last night and is going to gettysburg) i really want to make a costume >< or something. i have so many purses and pillows... but what else can i make out of all my fabric? a quilt, but that would take a while and i've have to spend money on the batting... man...
i also wanna spend some time in the park this afternoon if it doesnt rain. i miss hanging out by the creek! maybe i'll take my sketchbook and find some ducks :O

storms. again. i love this week!!!! we only had half-hour swim lessons because in the first class everyone was dying from hypothermia and in the second class is started thundering. but i was surprised with how much we got done with the 10:00 kids... why is it so much harder with the later class?!?!!?!
i think i should try using proper grammar and punctuation on this thing. its kind of annoying, but i need to get used to it -_- i always had trouble typing my papers for english because i would never capitalize anything ^_^;;; luckily word caught it for me... ::shrugs:: it doesnt really make much difference, its just something i think i might try. eventually. maybe. if i remember.
i've also noticed that with people i dont know (and adults) i tend to capitalize and stuff... its weird. i guess its just because using proper english seems more formal. however, once i feel comfortable with the person, i stop. i was just reminded of this because i got an email from a guy who's also going to gettysburg next year, and i felt weird typing like this to him, so i capitalized and all.
so yeah, i got an email from someone else going to gettysburg :O it's because when i was at work one day talking to a customer, i mentioned it, and he was like, "omgomgomg my friend's son is going there! you guys should talk!!" so i wrote down my name and email for him. i almost forgot about it and i was kinda confused when i was first reading it... anyway, he seems nice. it'll be good to know someone else when i get there. maybe we'll get together sometime before orientation and hang out.
mmm. i think i need some more chinese leftovers...

haha, today was fun... i got into work and i was talking with luis and carlos. luis kept fondling the 24V drill... it was hilarious XD he was like, "this drill is incredible! i mean, look at what it does when it's around other drills!! ::puts 24V drill next to lesser drill, surreptitiously ejects lesser drill's batteries:: look! it shit itself!"
my coworkers are so amusing.... i got to check out the famous dvd list, too. it was pretty good. lots of complete series, and quite a few i havent heard of.
of course, after they left, it was serious work time -_- but it wasnt bad, it was actually... enjoyable. i got to type stuff into excel and then look up prices and be amazed by the differences between what it cost to make and what it sold for. there were some that cost a lot and sold for very little, too. so dont be like, "they're ripping us off!" because its really not that much. we need a profit, too!
dinner... was on the run. actually, i was walking. but i seriously had to wait SO FREAKING LONG for the people in front of me to get their 3 custom i-want-so-much-just-kidding-oh-wait-i-want-this subs... i had 5 minutes left to eat my sandwich and get back to the store. -_- but at least it was yummy... and it wasnt too bad tonight, probably because i rarely had to deal with people (my face was buried in the keyboard) and when i did, it was only for a minute or two.
i kinda hope swim lessons get rained out again tomorrow... that would be nice... i got a lot done this morning. and i cant forget to call work tomorrow before 1 so i can check what time luis needed me to come in for him! ::makes mental note that will probably get lost within an hour::
