heehee ^_^ my birthday was so fun! thanks everyone ^.^ you're the bestest! right now i'm wearing my fuzzy camo pants. they look so cool XD and i'm really happy because they closed the pool 5 minutes after i got there because of thunder. i love it... work for 5 minutes, get paid for an hour. my boss is great ^_^ but anyway, camping was so amusing! i had lots of fun ^_^ we gotta do that again sometime, except... for more than one night. its a lot of work for only one night. *nodnod* and no making eggs in oranges. ::shudders:: that was pretty gross. a good idea, but still really gross. at least the bacon was good... even though the second batch was not quite cooked because the grease started burning uncontrollably before it was done. ^_^;; haha! but anyway, i think i'm gonna go play guitar now. bye!

Bausman Youth Council Retreat 2003: Rehoboth Beach

heehee ^_^ the youth council retreat was SO FUN!!! we figured out that all 11 of us had eaten over 5 dozen krispy kremes in 3 days. it was amazing. that was the first time i had ever been to a real krispy kreme store, and it was so fun!! we got free donuts ^.^ they were fresh and yummy ^.^ haha! and then danielle called friday night, and i was like, "yeah, right now we took a break from talking and we're eating chocolate fondue with strawberries, pineapple, and cookies." and she was just like, ";_;" but i still had fun, even though danielle wasnt with us. omg, the house was sooooo awesome! it was huge, and the bed i slept in was king-sized with a really nice featherbed *_* we even had a jaccuzzi in our bathroom!!! and the views from the balconies were great! it overlooked the bay and we could always see such a beautiful sunset. the beach was awesome, too. it was a bit chilly sometimes, but we still had fun. when we went on saturday, it started to pour while we were playing volleyball, but we just kept on going. it was "mandatory fun time," as ali put it. we couldnt see a thing and the rain was pelting us so hard... it was REALLY amusing. haha, another funny story... one evening we were in the pool, and lauren realized (when we were out to dinner) that she lost her ring. so when we got back from the boardwalk that night (i got to play DDR!), she and jill and i went to the pool to look for it, and jill saw it, but we were all in our clothes, so no one wanted to get in.... so i just did a quick check around, saw no one, took my pants off, and dove in the pool to get it. it was so funny! they definitely werent expecting me to do that. i would have gone in with my pants on, but i was wearing my khakis and i needed them the next day! besides, it would have taken too long for them to dry. so then we walked back and lauren told everyone i went skinny dipping. -_-; it was great though, because after i got changed i went upstairs to the living room and everyone was sitting around, and all of a sudden lauren just sang as loud as she could, "DID YOU EVER KNOOOW THAT YOU'RE MY HEEEERO.... YOU'RE EVERYTHING I WISH I COULD BEEEEEE!!!" and we all just started cracking up. ahh, i love youth council retreats. we were behind schedule before we even got there though. but it was cool, we managed. sunday night before we left, we threw a happy-almost-18th-birthday/we'll-miss-you party for andrew and ali. it was so amusing. well, i gotta go vaccuum, and then i'll get on my dad's computer and transfer some pics from my camera and make a webpage. bye!! -_^
