today was surprisingly fun!! i went in to work at 9:45 (i had woken up early because nicky was crying to be let out and i'm quite thankful for that because i had set my alarm for 9:00, forgetting that i had to take care of the dogs before i left) and i just got home like 2 minutes ago (and i'm already on the computer >< this is sad...).

it started out with just me and tim, but then luis came in and he was like, "ed said i could come in and work if i wanted to..." so tim put him to work making a skid for the returns and cleaning up OTR back there. he eventually came out and chatted with gloria and i for a bit (gloria's new, she came in at 1) and he brought up halloween costumes... i told him that my favorite (my best) one was leena from chrono cross, and he was like, "omg! wait!" and he brought out the july version of newtype, which got us into a huge anime discussion... i told him about the trading thing and how danielle has sooo much, and he was rattling off lists of stuff and i had to try to remember if she had it or not... it was fun ^_^

but omg! he hasnt heard of l'arc en ciel OR gackt! i had to enlighten him. i pointed out an ad for bujingai in newtype and told him how the main guy was modeled after gackt, and then i saw the info about l'arc's new cd and told him about their concert at otakon and how awesome they were...

so really, that was the highlight of my day. he was really surprised that i knew so much about it all, and he let me borrow the july newtype, which i am going to be reading during dinner ^_^ and he's not scary-obsessed, either. he's just into it, and he's really cool. which is rare. o_O maybe we'll talk more tomorrow ^_^

worked from 10-8 today... it wasnt too bad, except for the looming dark clouds that just PASSED OVER!!!! grr... but it was still fun. my co-workers are quite amusing. i was reading psychology and religion (my newest jung book) and bill was like, "omgomgogmgo, you have to see 'waking life,' it is t3h r0x0r5!!!111" only more like a normal person. so i think i'll take a run down to blockbuster and see if they still love me even though my brother killed our account... then i'll be able to rent the movie and see how great it really is. but from the description he gave me, i think i'll like it.

other than that, nothing really exciting... fireworks saturday night... jason and destinee are leaving for the beach tomorrow, so they'll be dropping off addi in the morning. it should be exciting. its nice having such an energetic creature around the house ^_^

ok... i'm hungry now. food time! ^.^

worked 10-8 today, came home with a pink face and my dad spazzed, leading up to a huge argument... i was a wreck. i still cant eat. i almost left the house. its the first time in my entire life that i really truly wanted to get out of there and never come back. ever. if it wasnt for my mom... i dont know...

anyhow, i dont know what kind of shape i'll be in the next few days. i dont know if i'll be going to work tomorrow or what... i dont know if i deal with this. god... why does it hurt so much?

ahhh~~~~ ::hugs computer:: i miiissed yooou!!!!

i've been working every day for the tent sale at work x_x it's insane. but i got double-time today, so it's good ^.^ of course, i was kinda depressed this morning because i realized that it was the first time in my ENTIRE LIFE that i hadnt been in/ watched the parade... but luis made up for that by racing shopping carts with me from the tent to the store. i was winning for a bit, but then i missed the turn for the ramp and he won -_- and we got yummy subs for lunch from the deli (discounted ^.^ i love it..) so that brightened up the day, too.

last night andrew came over to visit... we watched "old school" and then roasted marshmallows outside. it was fun. i cant wait for otakon!!!!

today when i got home from work i just ate everything in sight (i was so hungry!!) and then picked up tab and went to danielle's, where we played some DDR, super smash brothers, and perfect dark. it was amusing. we headed over to the hill for fireworks around 9 and left around 10 so we could all drop people off and be home by 11... stupid tab made me take him to a hill that he swore he knew where it was, but he really didnt, which made me waste gas AND time (i swear, i'm gonna make you start paying for rides! >:O ) (and dont give me crap about how i have so much money because i have two jobs, because i have to pay for a lot of stuff. and soon.)

so........ i dunno. i'm kinda tired, but i dont wanna go to bed because that would reinforce my parents' belief that i go to bed earlier when i dont stay over at someone's house -_-

wow, let's see what i did that was dumb today:
-didn't eat breakfast
-didn't pay attention to my body yelling at me

-ate greasy pizza
-went outside into 90 degree heat

and because of all this, my body decided to break and i had to leave work early. but now i'm home, sipping on some ice water, and trying my hardest not to take painkillers for my head because i'm afraid of what would happen if i did.

did i mention i left my cell at work?

saw this article when i wanted to get my email this morning... "U.S. Transfers Sovereignty to Iraqi Govt." by TAREK EL-TABLAWY, Associated Press Writer.

so. good job for them doing the cermony in near-secret conditions before the scheduled time. who knows what would have happened if it had been public! however, i've found a few problems with this.

As Iraq's highest authority, Bremer had issued more than 100 orders and regulations, many of them Western-style laws governing everything from bankruptcy and traffic, to restrictions on child labor and copying movies.

new laws are good. they help create stabilization. but copying movies? isnt that a little too trivial to be worrying about? and this, too...

Others are more controversial. On Saturday, Bremer signed an edict that gave U.S. and other Western civilian contractors immunity from Iraqi law while performing their jobs in Iraq. The idea outrages many Iraqis who said the law allows foreigners to act with impunity even after the occupation.

the idea also outrages many jennys who agree with the iraqis that this is really, really dumb! what makes the u.s. think that the iraqi people will respect these laws when they are the only ones required to follow them? in their own country! just as a general rule of respect, i think that if you're going to inhabit another country, you should at least observe their laws. but not to shoot down the entire thing, i think that this was a good idea:

A Bremer elections law restricts certain candidates from running for office, banning parties with links to militias, for instance.

banning certain candidates may seem like a bad idea, but this way it would be safer for the people. if the candidate has a link to a militia, they have the ability to unfairly control the election. so bremer gets a point for that one.

However, the United States and its partners hoped that the transfer of sovereignty would serve as a psychological boost for Iraqis, who have been increasingly frustrated by and hostile to foreign military occupation. U.S. officials hope that Iraqis will believe that they are now in control of their country and that will take the steam out of the insurgency.

yeah, a lot of people were hoping for that. but still, i dont like the wording of this. just the part where it says that they hope they'll believe its true. it's just kind of like telling a kid that santa or the easter bunny is real. some may really believe it in the beginning, but there will be others that are skeptical or just find out later and get really pissed off. and i just dont like the idea that we're fooling them into thinking something. it seems pretty immoral to me.

andrew came to visit last night! it was fun ^_^ we all ate dinner together and then the two of us went to see harry potter and then to friendly's for ice cream. hopefully i'll be able to see him more often. i always forget how nice it is to spend time with him ^_^;;

i wanted to hang out with people tonight, but it doesnt look like anyone's around... :- but thats ok. i work like 9-5 tomorrow. maybe i'll stop by the dojo and see what's happening. that would be fun ^_^ i always get the urge to do karate at work... then i'm like, "no, there are people around. and you're working. bad jenny." and by the time i get home, i'm tired...

hopefully i'll get a chance to go running this week. i also need to go to the bank and take care of some checks, as well as stop at the pool so i can make sure i dont have to be there this coming week. and then i'll have death-days the week after 4th of july... starting the thursday before, i'll be working soooo much.... x_x it'll be insane. but good, because i'll be making money.

so, i ended up NOT having to work today... i guess i got saturday and sunday confused when i looked at the schedule... but thats ok. i like having the day off. i can go to the bank and deposit my checks and stuff...

i have a mighty need to see nate! it's been so long... i should probably call him sometime, but i have no clue when he's at work, and i feel weird asking his brother (because i see him at the pool) because that'd be kinda stalker-ish. i dont like being scary.

i also havent seen ryan in a while, and i need to visit kyle again sometime. and meg and alex!! i havent hung out with them in an even longer time! except danielle and i *did* visit meg at work on thursday... but that doesnt count. its just not the same.

ah, i actually have some time to eat food and DIGEST before i run to work!! i go in at 3 today ^.^ i'm happy.

so i was guarding this morning and i heard this guy yelling something, and i was like, "nate?!" only it was his brother, luke -_- they are so much alike its insane!!! i dont think i've ever been around two people who are so similar. i'm sure their personalities and everything are different, but i swear, guarding for luke's lesson is so similar to guarding for nate's i keep thinking its last year.

besides that.. not much else interesting. i'll probably start doing level 2 lessons at the next session. i really dont know any of the new guards ^_^;; but thats alright, i'll take care of that later.

jason (dietz, the manager, not my brother) was telling me about the two ambulence incidences they've already had this year... one kid fell off the monkey bars and another one landed on someone else's head >< and they wonder why we're strict about jumping!! i dont want that to happen!

and now, let's take a look at my social life:

ahh, worked from 9-5 today and i was on my feet for all but like... one minute. or maybe two. it was bad x_x and now my legs hurt, but advil saved me ^__^

tomorrow i work 9-3 again, and then i'm off until next monday when i also work 9-3... then i start my evening shifts so i can do swim lessons in the morning... it kinda sucks though, because i'll be getting home at like 9:30 and then my parents will think it's too late for me to do anything, so it looks like i wont be having much of a social life for a while. ^_^;; except for the days i have off. hopefully they'll hire someone else and i'll be able to get more free time...

wow, can we say downpour?! danielle and i went to meg's tonight and then my mom called and was like, "you need to leave NOW." so i took danielle back, and on the way it started pouring ;_; it was so scary!! i had to drive down that huge hill at 10 mph because there was so much rain i couldnt see more than 3 feet in front of my car. it was scary x_x

mmm, today was good. picked up kyle, ran a few errands (got pictures ^.^ i might upload some after this entry) and then came back to my house to hang out. we worked on the crossword, had a pillow fight, and then watched "catch me if you can" before i took him home. it was a good day.

the rest of the week is work until friday... then i have to do cpr on a dummy. but after that we're going to carrie's for her graduation party XD it'll be exciting! cant wait ^_^

i just really hope that i'll have some evenings off x_x i forgot to call and check my schedule at B&D today, so i'm not sure how late i have to stay tomorrow. but i should probably bring some food. ^_^;; i hope i dont always have to work evenings, because then i won't have time for karate! not to mention seeing my friends.. i'd like to do that sometimes, too... ya know, i have a lot less time than i thought i did. >< this sucks.

so, i'm all recertified for CPR... i only got one wrong on the test, and it was only because two of the answers were really close and i picked the wrong one :( but 29/30 is good!!

when i was done, mary-lou was talking to me about swim lessons, and she was like, "didnt you want to do lessons this year??" and i was just like, "um, no one asked me to. i just assumed they had enough people." and then she starting spazzing because the managers were sobbing about how they needed people, and i was one of the very few people this year with experience and she went on about how they should have called me about it, and i was just like, "mwhahahaha, i hold their sanity in the palm of my hand!!!" ^.^ so i told her that i was also working at black and decker and i sometimes worked in the morning, and that i did so this week, but i could try to get time off if they really needed me >:}

so she said she'd have them call so i can get details on where they need me. i think it's level 2. i like level 2 ^_^ they're still adorable, but their minds are advanced enough that you can actually work with them, unlike level 1, which is just like, "get in the water! good job! you pass!" ^_^;; and the stuff that you're trying to teach isnt all that hard to do. except floating... some kids really have trust issues with the water. ::shakes head::

now all i need to do is get a copy of my lifeguard certification card.... hmm....

today was destinee and jason's engagement party. it was fun. i'm tired =_= there were lots of little kids running around, and danielle and i were playing with them almost the entire time! it was crazy... i think danielle was actually having fun!! and she even gave them HUGS when they left!! i was about ready to explode from all the love she was giving these "frolicking dirt children"!!! it was crazy...

soooooooooo......... i need to get a bunch of college stuff (finishing forms, loan apps) out of the way before i can actually do fun stuff @_@ and i should probably finish doing my laundry and put my clothes away, too.

one of these days i'm going to go through that basket by my door, i swear... and i'm going to organize all my fabric and maybe actually make something with it! hmm...

spent most of today just doing random things like listening to music, hemming my pants (the only clothes clean and dry right now are whites, so i'm wearing my white terry pants and a white tanktop. all i need are some wings and i can be an angel ^.^), brushing the dog, playing piano, and drawing a bit. i think i wanna go down to the park this evening and find some things to sketch. or i can just hang out and watch the sunset ^_^

i was talking to zach last night... he's an idiot 9_9 he sent me this video of him and danny (his cousin) putting on those electric dog collars and then running up to where the fence was. and i mean, although i have been curious about what that would feel like, i was never brave enough to try it... and if i did try, i dont think i'd be stupid enough to do it like 3 times after i found out how much it hurt. ^_^;; but i have to admit, it was really amusing.

sometime this week or maybe this weekend, we're gonna go look at digital cameras. ^_^ it should be fun getting to hang out with zachy-chan again... i'm looking forward to it. and then i'll have a new toy to play with ^.^ (the camera, not zach.)

ahh, i wanna go outside, but i have stuff to do and its hot... i tried drawing outside today, but since i'm wearing all white, the sun just reflected off of me and i was like, "AH! I'M BLIND!!! x_x"

anyway... i think i'm gonna listen to my dispatch/jack johnson mix. i love that kind of music for summer! i have enough jack johnson songs now to make another one, so i think i'll do that and then do thank-you cards on the deck.

ok, this is for caryn. wanting to know where to find gackt sheet music. i have some, but i dont remember where i got it, so i'll search again!

Story: the Gackt Fan Website has some sheet music and a few guitar tabs, but the piano stuff is just melody lines and the words in japanese.

after searching through my sheet music pile, i have come to the conclusion that i didnt actually find the sheet music online. i found MIDI files of the songs (only if i knew that it was a piano version or if the original only had piano in it) and i used a program like MidiNotate (you can find it here on download.com (or if that link doesn't work, just search for it) and it gave me pretty good sheet music.

however, if you don't feel like doing this, i have a copy of "Sayonara" that if you email me and ask politely, i will scan in for you and you dont have to do the horrible search for a midi. (it sucks, but it was worth it. they're such cool songs *_*) i also should have a copy of "blue," but i think i gave it to a friend, so you're probably better off searching for the midi.

mmm... the service tonight wasnt too bad. it was pretty short, and i got to escape pretty quickly (after my parents took pictures).. then we went to rita's, where i talked to matt in line and rubbed in the fact that i had no more school. i got a strawberry and vanilla gelati ^.^ it was yummy!

so anyway, we were sitting in the car eating, and i was being impatient, and my dad was about to go when this other car pulled up next to us... i was looking out the window watching people and all of a sudden it was like, "hey, that looks like david's car... hey, that looks like david's hair... oh crap, that's david. ::hides::" but he noticed my parents and he stood outside his car for a bit making small talk, and my dad rolled down the window so i could talk, too, and i was just like, "this is WEIRD" (i dont think i've talked to him since... yeah ><) and he was being all polite and stuff, but i knew him well enough before to realize that he didnt really want to be nice.. and i was just sitting there trying to look kinda happy when inside i was just like, "ouch >< this hurts. i really deserve this."

so, i was thinking a lot on the ride home. i mean, i know you cant ever change the past, and a lot of it i wouldnt want to change... i think that's the only thing i really regret...

mm.. ran some errands today, went to black and decker to do some paperwork, got a drug test done.. it was exciting 9_9

i'm hungry. i would be in a good mood, considering that i'm graduating tomorrow, only i have to remember to wake up early and drop off order forms for the stupid senior video and talent show x_x that and my dad was being really dumb before, and he did the same thing he always does and assumes that since i'm carrying on with my life, i've forgotton about it and forgiven him, but he's wrong. i remember when people are being stupid and when they accuse me of doing stuff i didnt do, and as small as it may seem, it just collects in my unconscious. this wouldnt be so bad if it didnt seem to happen almost every single time i talk to him about something...

of course, i could just be much less tolerable because i'm HUNGRY and there's not much real food to eat in my house... danielle and i picked up a few groceries today, but it wasnt anything substantial... we got some good rice, pizza for lunch (which is gone now), brownie stuff, and yogurt. i can't really make a good meal out of that... i'm seriously lacking in the protein department, and my body is going to have a mutiny soon... no one has really been making dinner lately, and unless i eat a sandwich (which is VERY rare) or there's meat that's defrosted in the fridge and not reserved for a special occassion (which is MORE rare), i dont get any thing. -_-; i should probably do something about that.

but what i REALLY want to do right now is to have my mom notice the $35 grocery bill and offer to pay me back for it. and it'd also be nice if my dad said something like, "thanks for getting gas" or something like that -_- i mean, i dont expect him to pay me back for that, because i'm the one who's always running around doing stuff, and he really doesnt use the car that often.

actually, what i really want to do is get some freaking food into my stomach before it implodes and causes me a very slow and painful death x_x

ahhhh, today has really been a bunch of extremes... woke up mad because i had to take my calc exam, left happy because it was over, stayed in a good mood for a while, but then it got killed because of graduation practice... i was ready to bite taberis' head off when he brushed against me afterwards when we were walking down the hallway. although, i probably should have, because i was really hungry.

had to drive around a lot. to school and back 3 times. calc, pick up danielle, and practice. -_- it sucked. but then i came home, ate some ice cream, and went on a nice run with nate (until i got a muscle cat on the way back and had to walk the rest -_-) (haha, danielle is probably like the only person who knows where the term "muscle cat" came from) but overall it was enjoyable. it started to rain as soon as we got back to my front door ._. perfect timing. i love rain ^.^

sooooooo now, as soon as the washing machine is done, i'm gonna take a shower, then maybe make some pierogies for dinner (yum ^.^ i love cooking! i made lunch for people today and it was yummy too!) and then go to my work meeting. i requested lots of time off, and i'll probably still need some more.... heeheehee... i also need to fill out my application for black and decker so i can take it in and do my interview.. that'll give me a break from the sun, and learning about various equipment is always useful ^_^

XD i love exam days. except for the exam part... calc sucked today, i just kinda lost hope after a while and for some of them i actually just analyzed the answers and tried to figure out what was most likely to be correct... like if there were 2 that were the same except for their sign, i would think about whether it would be positive or negative and choose whichever one worked. ^_^;;

so, tomorrow i have my econ exam, and that should be over at 10:45 (if it starts at 9:15, which it should have, but then danielle called me at 9:20 today to yell at me [gomen nasai!! ::bows::] and claimed that the 2nd exam starts at 9:30.. hm.. i guess i'll find out when i go to pick her up when she calls ^_^;) and then i dont have to go to school at all on thursday!!! ^.^ <- ecstatic

the only bad thing is that we have graduation rehersal... ugh......... and i have a work meeting tonight and i have to get stuff ready for that >< i also picked up an application for black and decker, so if i work there i can get lots of discounts at other places, too, which will be good.

maybe i'll go into school before rehearsal starts today under the pretense of bringing books in and go visit physics. i have to give mr. u my psych books anyway, so i should probably find them all... :|

i like being able to wander aimlessly around the house ^_^

w00t! new layout ^_^ looks best with internet explorer 5.0 or higher on 1024x786 resolution or larger. netscape just doesnt do css right -_- it's really sad...

anyway, prom was last night... the actually prom part wasnt all that great, but it was fun when we left and went back to my house to hang out. everyone either left or fell asleep around 2 or 3, and then danielle and meg barged into my room this morning around 9 x_x but it wasnt too bad. i was just really tired.

so.. now.. i need to shower and find some clothes.. do laundry.. and then i'll probably come back down here to look at my new layout more ^_^
