Macs
Eating mac reminds mi of 1. cs the macman and 2. evelyn huang whom v long ago suggest kok ways to di siao the mac staff like requesting fries without salt (and ask for a packet of salt) and having mac chicken without the sesame bread top (and ask for the fish fillet top) cos allergic to sesame.
Anyhow the mac here rocks, got double quarter pounder burger. Eat till damn bao can! Maybe sg will have it soon or perhaps already have it (macman cs can update mi on that ya?)

Unity day
So happen that this sunday was unity in philadelphia and so happen that the event was held at benjamin franklin pky right
below our apts. We decided to check out this tua zhong event.
--> Jioed zee to wear the sesame place t shirt that we bought.
--> Zee was so amazed to see 1 whole row of toilets that she insist on taking a foto with the toilets, super kok can.
--> Actually the event is nothing much, it just a very big carnival kinda thing. Its like those tua zhong parsa malam in sg nia. Police, fire engines, tanks were all there though.
--> We saw this free painting on hands and face and zee wanted it too. She failed on the 1st attempt as they say its only for kids but zee din give up and tried the 2nd stall and finally succced!
--> Got this heavily zheng car there.
--> Que up to spin this free gift wheel and we are so lucky to get the tshirt and waterbottle!
--> The peeps there just set up bbq and start pinic one.
--> Some big bunny.
--> Another huge soft toy thingy.
--> This specially for ................
--> Got stage with pple singing but its all those yoyoyoyoyo type of song one, like the black eye peas type.

--> Went to penns landing to take the ferry over to camden waterfront for the tomato festival. Anyhow so qiao that the penns landing got this carribean event that features all about the jamicans or sthg.

--> Even got shows to teach you how to cook with tomatos can.
--> All the different kinds of tomatos. Think fa would like it, hes a tomato lover!

Fire and water
This weekend pl and jeff went to Niagara Falls while mi and zee stayed behind (cos zee is going with her boston fren while im
intending to go with my sg frens who can and will cross to the canadian side plus another reason is that I wanna go to this pool
party at phebe's boss place). Hope pl and jeff will enjoy themselves!
--> Before going to the pool party, there was this minor fire in some drainhole under my block. The
peeps were like super kanchiong and sent 2 big fire engines over to extinguish the small puny flames. Its damn super kok
la.

hes out for holiday at the west coast). There was no parking lots and zee said jus anyhow park cos its jus going to be a short
while. While shopping, I have this bad feeling as in sg I also always kena fine when I anyhow park. Indeed we was fined for
parking at a no stopping region AND within 15in of a fire hydrant. We were like just 1 min late, just as we step out of the store,
that fucker started writing the offence! It was a fucking 65 bucks can!

Bbq Stella
Stella, the president of SPIN, organised this bbq party at her place for both the seniors and juniors. It was really enjoyable!

Shopping and sesame
Sunday was a suburbs day can! We left the city and venture out into the suburbs attractions - Franklin Mills and Sesame Place. Burnt loads of cash, sigh.
--> Took a super long subway and bus ride to our super suburbish destination.
--> Franklin Mills. This place is a mega factory outlet can! They have every and any brand there. Things there are super cheap too, about half (or less than half) the market price can.
--> Inside the place - 1. got this well that test if a penny or a quarter roll down faster, very interesting lei, 2. sports shop, 3. E's fav bearshop (no polar bear though), 4. wen's fav hello kitty stuff, 5. fa's fav boxers undies, 6. some kok scarecrow that i thot viclance might be interested in.
--> At sesame place. This is a water theme park like wow wow wet in sg.
--> Another well taken family pic.
--> Pics with all the famous sesame st characters.
--> We took this kiddy ride and the damn carriage was like so squeezy can. We were already quite paiseh to be seen squeezing liao and the staff further embrassed us by telling us that no more than 2 adults per load AFTER we have squeeze in. So kok can.
--> Super scary roller coaster ride. I almost puked, pl cried, and only the brave zee is smiling.
--> Another kid stuff which we can play.
--> Some kok ship which we have no chance or rather time to go in and see.
--> Wanted to join these kids jump on the water bed but I think they have weight limit for it. Fucked tup fat discrimination!
--> Pl saw the big bird stuff toy and desperately wanna win it. She spent 5 bucks for a bucket of 55 rings thinking that she has 55 chances to get one ring in bottle. So kok can.

--> This is the sesame neighbourhood, they made the street v v v similar to that on tv.
--> This year is sesame st 25th bday and they have this parade thingy. All the characters in sesame street are walking down the street.
--> Got this v kei yan old couple koksters who brought their stuff toy out to sesame place to play.

Party at narbeth
Today estee and phebe company got this gathering at their bosses place and they invited all of us there. We went to this nice suburbs narbeth. The party was awesome, check out the pics man.

Birthday
I have a long birthday this yr - spans from aug4th sg time to aug4th philly time.
Thanks for all the well wishes from pl, fr, zee, fa, wen, andyx, ade, zs, pam, cp, sg, viclance, mbs, and many others. E wished mi too, so happy :)

*Updates*
Just when I thot that my bday this yr would be a pathetic one cos there will be no fa and viclance to celebrate for mi, the ncbvians gave mi a v v v v v v pleasant bday surprise.
Yesterday when i went home for dinner, zee cooked some quite bland and tasteless ba kut teh and pl cooked some bu ru wei kind of cha ye tan for mi to eat. I was quite dissappointed and requested zee to cook a piece of baked salmon that we bought as it was my bday, zee declined right away. I was quite sad and went to on to whine bit to zee and pl - 1. walk ard zee and said "dun even wanan cook a piece of meat for my bday" and 2. open the fridge and said "see, theres no cake as expected" and 3. open the freezer and said "not even any ice cream at all!" Later on in the night zee and pl even force mi to watch charlie n choc fac with them when i wanted to go sleep early. They tu tu tu tu from 9 to like 11 then start to watch. Inside my heart I was like sooooooooo fed up. Anyhow, I fell asleep while watching halfway. Then suddenly the door bell rang at 12MN Aug 4th (philly time), zee and pl woke mi up and i went to open the door. TO MY SURPRISE, the whole bunch of ncbvians came with a cake and sing happy bday song to mi!!!!!! Not only got cake, got lays chips, and also B&J ice cream lo!!!!! Then i realised later it was zee and pl who planned everything and everything they done earlier on was on purpose to give mi this surprise. I was super super touched can. Thanks zee and pl and all other ncbvians for everything. I felt really really bad for thinking they din care bout mi!
The best has yet to come. They actually have a part 2 surprise for mi! Ziliang, my work buddy, told mi to company him to chinatown to buy stuff but the real thing is they bringing mi to hard rock cafe for dinner! I was like so shocked for the part 2 bday surprise. Everyone went down and treat mi to a meal. NCBVIANS rocks! I love you guys lots man.

Work so far
Theory and practical are worlds apart man. Now i really appreciate practical lessons so much more. A simple mistake of forgetting to include a stop condon into the clone gene can result in a bunch of screwed up proteins. Weeks of work are then jus down the drain like that.
