Chuck Jones RIP
Yeah I know he's been dead for a few days, but I haven't been able to do a tribute to him. Actually, I am not creative enough to do one. But this was a good one done by my friend Jimi and it's pretty good.

Could this be true? I heard through The Pink Floyd Yahoo! Group that Pink Floyd will be going bye-bye very shortly. I guess they are planning one final show (possibly with Roger Waters?) and then calling it quits. Oh how the mighty must fall...

No new crises have started as of yet, and not much other news to be reported right now. I have come up with an idea for Samurai News but now there are two obstacles to overcome:
- When can I find time to write it?
- Will the kid post it.

Crisis Averted? And Another Started? (not yet)
Well there has been a lot of shit going on with the ULCCF lately what with people disagreeing on different views of religion, myth vs fact, etc. But over the past week, after being yelled at by me, some other people, and the moderator of the group, things have been very very quiet around there. Today people started posting messages again, and now there are no more arguments (I am right, no I am right, no, etc...). That's a good thing. Now I can express views freely without fear of being chewed out. But we'll see...
Note that I am posting this here because My Ministry page is on the way out for now. I still need to rethink the whole thing and I think it is gonna move away from Pitas anyway... Don't worry, I will keep this one up, but the ministry is another story.

Is it official?
I had to go get a copy of my registration from the Registrar's Office here for health insurance purposes. Now that I have this in my hand, does that mean that I am officially a student? Or that I should officially feel like one?
Yes I have the student mentality, but since I am in educational limbo right now I still don't know. I think that once I struggle my way through the second half of this semester, and get it over with, I will feel more like a student again. I am starting to realize that this has definitely been a time of adjustment for me.

I guess some teachers are trying to ban the Guiness book of World Records from school because of sexual content such as "Most Downloaded Women" etc. What's so wrong with that? Hell, I am a married man, but I am still human. Of course schoolboys are gonna look at stuff like that. If you ban the book, the school still has computers. It's right on the web! Get over it, people.

Math Sucks?
Don't let the domain name fool you on this one. (click it). Granted even I start to think that Math sucks from time to time, but this site isn't what you think...
It's got a lot of basic math stuff in it. It's like a textbook on the net. Anyone need a refresher? Check it out.

Seany seems to think that the previous title of this page (Insert Title Here) was a ripoff of his. Well correct me if I am wrong, but isn't it possible for two people to not be able to think of a decent title name for a pitas page? One would think so. Well it's been changed to "Incessant Ramblings" which make a whole lot of sense according to what I do in this page.
Just watched a video in Soc this morning that nauseated me. It was a news broadcast about an all-white community where black families started moving in. With that, the white families started moving out because they were "uncomfortable" and the blacks would bring "crime" and stuff with them (and I like to use "quotation" marks). But keep in mind that this was an upscale community, and these people were very upscale regardless of color. The houses sold for around 300 thousand. There was no crime. Things were all the same. It's just a case of unbelievable racism, stupidity, and the power of stereotype. In comparison to myself, true I may make racist comments here and there, but I am (for lack of a better term) colorblind.

I am sick of fucking chain letters!!!
There that should do it. My lovely little 12 year-old sister has recently discovered the internet and email and of course, since she's 12, she send all of these stupid forwards which are bad enough in and of themselves. But here is the worst part. Most of the forwards include something like the following:
OMG! This really works! You must sent this to 200 people within the next 20 seconds! If you do, then a flying turd will go across your screen and you will get a call from someone you don't even know who will say they want to fuck you. But if you do not, then a bunch of psychotic penguins will break down your door and beat you to death with the head of Bob Saget while they sing "I wish I was and Oscar Meyer Wiener".
Okay, okay... I went a little overboard, but I feel better now. But you get the point. Those damn things are pissing me off. Was I that bad when I discovered email? Not a snowball's chance in Hell!

If I get married again?
One of the ladies at work found out that I am a minister of the Universal Life Church and said that if she gets married for a 3rd time that she will think of me to perform it. Call me crazy, but I am thinking that if I do start performing weddings, I think I am going to have to change the whole "Till Death Do Us Part" thing...

Just call me Systems Analyst
After my computer decided it was going to uninstall my modem by itself (without any knowledge of its master- That being ME!), I was tweaking out. Pacing back and forth and yelling didn't do anything. Threatening didn't do anything... But then I realized that it couldn't uninstall the software for it alone could it? I had to go through the entire C:Windows folder to find where my modem's software was installed, and then select each component separately and run it. Then restated my computer like 4 or 5 (thousand?) times, and I am back online! Wahoo!

School is back... Ugh!
Well here goes... again. I am back in school after a pathetic excuse for "Spring Break." It's not even close to Spring (well it's closer now but you get my point.) And I am once again falling into the mentality that has haunted me before. "Dammit, I am sick of school!" I have to keep plugging along as best I can. Hopefully my attitude toward it will improve again.
Still working at Wally World. I think I'll stick with it. I was gonna put in an application for the night supervisor position at the video store, but I've decided not to. Wal Mart is a pretty steady place to work for now and they all like me.

Recap of a couple days:
Well I think the last entry I posted was Monday or something. So it's been a while.
I taught Nathan to play Magic The Gathering to other day. He seems to like it a lot and his deck really held it's own for his first time playing.
The killer sinus headache from hell has disappeared finally. I am now feeling like a million bucks.
I've had this whole week off from school and am now dreading going back. Ugh! Oh well it will be okay.
Did anyone watch the Grammys? I only caught a little bit of the show the other night, but I did catch Train's performance and was blown away. Those guys are great! (I think they won something but I don't remember).
Here's some "update news": Expect a Homepage update in the near future (like tomorrow night!!). I might also be doing an article for Samurai News (see past entries for the link because I don't remember it right now.) This site will undergo a huge change very soon (it has also been archived a second time)... I am not sure what.
Personal Updates: Getting trained in a bunch of things at work now...yay! Might be applying for a night management job at the video store down the road (still not sure). Might be getting another animal for the family. Might be going insane (I think that is the only one I am sure of.
BTW: if anyone knows how to create .hlp (Windows Help Files) files, let me know in an email or on here.
