but here's the good news :) I will be going to KL for 3 days later during the day. Just finished packing up. nothing much to pack anyway.. going there for some change of air. the last time when i visited KL was like 8 years ago.. yup, that long huh? So I'll be bringing along my digital camera to click away. Hope I can visit the Petronas Twin Tower. Kindda like the Amazing Race.. Talking about amazing race.. I don't believe it that Zach and Flo won... i thought they were finished in Vietnam... The brothers, Ken and Gerard looked like a safer bet to win the race but guess Zach and Flo really got something up their sleeves. And as they say, it ain't over until its over..

i guess you'll already know... singapore lost to malaysia :( took almost an hour just to reach the stadium, cars after cars were parked at every available car slots but we manage to finally find a spot at the kallang theater carpark. its a shame on how the lions lost. without a fight.. the malaysian team looked ordinary but singapore was just horrible. they just don't click, forwards run aimlessly without direction, midfielders looked lost and the defence was nonexistence. where the hell was the marking... i could go on but you the story, 4-0, thats a big ZERO. Bummer...

Well Singapore. If we play with our shirts off tonight we will be arrested instantly and the show stopped. hmmmmm. If we remove any article of clothing at all the show will be stopped. ....Lately I have been performing in a pair of little underwear and bright orange socks shoes and hat. They recently passed a law here where people are now allowed to wear undershirts (wifebeaters' singlets) in public. It would seem that they are really hurting in the personal freedoms department here. If someone is caught here with 20 grams of weed it is automatic death by hanging. DEATH BY HANGING!!! For a little bag of weed! shit. fuck. They must not get a lot of reggae shows around here.
I probably have 20 grams of weed still floating around in my blood stream left over from my pot smoking days.
This is a strange place. I have not yet been outside, but the guy that picked us up at the airport yesterday had flashing disco lights in his car and little ornaments plastered all over the dashboard and driver's compartment of the car... pix of Mother Theresa, a big model of a mercedes benz race car, lots of crosses, and other crazy doo dads. The windows of the car were locked, it is illegal for them to be unlocked unless one has bars on the window. They don't want anyone falling out.
These are some paranoid folks.
Well, this is a lot different than what I am used to. Tonight, we will do our damnest to bring them the rock. To get their Singaporian bootys shaking.
God bless 'em. Flea

Anyway I'm scouting for a webhosting company to upload my pictures, can't tahan the instability of the server. but i can't really complain.. its free :P

Finally, the server is up!! Its been a long while since I post anything here. The last time I post was perhaps on Hari Raya :P
A couple of stuffs happen since then, my brother was involved in a motor accident. Luckily its not that bad, just a hairline fracture on his arm. Had to wear a cast on his arm nevertheless.. hehe
Pictures!!! Yes! I took a LOT of pics during the Hari Raya period. Will post it up..
Yesterday followed my fiancee to purchase her digital camera at Sim Lim, initially wanted to get the Casio Exim, but decided on a Fujifilm finepix instead. Its the small, tiny one. Will try to post the pic here.
Now I'm at work... Counting down to end of the year... 18days 14hours and 52 mins left....

Its been a while since I wrote.. Well, kindda busy these few days. Anyone heard of Kimage? Its a hairdressing academy which provide dirt cheap haircut for just $5.15. But just one catch.. The hairdresser or they prefer to be called hairstylist are mostly students, still learning the art of hair cutting.. but anyway for 5 bucks why not? Not just they cut your hair... they massage your head, wash your hair twice!! Before and after cutting!! Hell, where in Singapore could you get these type of service for $5!!. Anyway, for my case, I got a rather raw student... She was a bit on the quiet side.. Didn't talk much, the cutting was just so-so but its ok..cuz most of the cutting is not really done by her, its by her teacher.. Yes, forgot to info you.. the students weren't exactly left to their own devices to run hell with your hair, there will be teacher who will keep close watch of the session, and basically, she would intervene if she sees that the cut is not up to par... So you will get the teacher who would be doing most of the cutting.. heh heh..
Anyway its real cheap value for those on a budget. But beware, the cut might not be as good as those malay barber, but they make it up with their enthusiasm and hairwashes.. Check them out at Funan Centre!!

Took a couple of pictures while at work yesterday. The new workplace looked kindda "sterile". Must be the new look.

I'm at work now, new spanking place in the heart of geylang serai. I can even see the festive hari raya lights from here. For those who are wondering where is this place, its the Singapore Post Centre, just beside the Paya Lebar MRT. But its a pity, I definitely leaving the company.. .
The prisons offer was just too good to refuse.. benefits, perks and of course!! pay increase.
I went there this morning for the job preview, the HR officer was rather accommodating in answering our queries. Around 10 potential prison officers came for the preview. 5 guys, 5 girls. We also have a tour of the changi prison. It was indeed an eye opener for someone like me who never step into a prison before.(honest!) Everywhere there's tall walls surrounding the main cell, with gurkhas manning the watchtower. Managed to see the prisoners doing their daily routine.. We were introduced to one of the workshop and apparently they were assembling.. get this.. hard drives!! Not really the main components but rather just the casing. They also prepared a little tea reception for us, unfortunately or you could say fortunately I was fasting, so I didn't get to taste the food prepared by the convicts.. :P basically most of the food are prepared by them even the officers' meals..:) wow, you learn something new everyday!!

Just finished uploading the motor pics. By the way the interview went just fine. They basically ask questions which you know that they gonna ask but you just can't be bothered to look or think about it. Like, why you want to join the prison unit? Duh?? What you see yourself in the near future.... Bla..bla.. And the famous question, what are your strengths?.. Anyway all of these have textbook answers to it.. Like when they ask me a question regarding how i can cope dealing with the prisonner's problems plus your own problems. Textbook answer- work is work, personal is personal, there is no 2 ways about it.. And they nod approvingly, all the 3 of them... oh well.. hopefully will land the job. Stay tune in 2 weeks time... Till the next episode.

Today is the day that I'm going for the prison interview. Yep. you heard right. Im gonna try my luck working for the government. The economy couldn't be bleaker. With retrenchment and cost cutting, perhaps this is the perfect time for me to jump ship and try to secure a job with the government. Wish me luck!

Visited Motor Show at Suntec today. Great exhibition but its a pity that my digital camera's battery went flat on me after just about an hour's worth!! Anyway, I managed to snap around 100 pics of the cars :) Will try to upload it to my photo gallery later.
