guess wad? i've found a ranma 1/2 comrade!! in xintian. yupz. she likes ranma too.. finds it funny.. i was beginning to think that everyone found it stupid, but it's not.. it's funny. today there was band prac, and ms tan took us for combine the whole time, except for the usual sectionals in the front. i think we played not that bad, compared to last band prac. cos it sounds neater, to me. but also bcos of that, then there wasn't much impact, no dynamic diff, or certain articulations weren't brought out as much. haiz. i think i'm losing my tone.. i have to practise much more.. syf is in 19 days!! can u believe it? we're all like, not very jing zhang yet. which is bad. no stress. den if we get a silver.. haiz, dun wanna think abt it now. anw, back to sch! more normal.. had the pe elective today, mini tennis was quite fun le. it was tiring too, but the sport itself wasn't tiring it was the running ard to pick up the balls that was tiring.. cos we keep hitting the ball everywhere, then muz keep running for the ball.. so tired. haha.

wow.. it's quite late liao.. i was slacking for an hr after doing chem.. chem really puts me off sometimes.. haiz. i have to do the chaps individually first.. but anw, i got this quite funny email, u can read it here! yupz. it's funny.
today, had elearning again, but got lots of free time cos bio teachers didn't put up anything, so it was kinda like a free period. then i also slacked quite a bit, din do the hist.. but anw, went to sch in the afternoon for mep.. took the same bus as gillian
at one point of time, i started talking to her abt becca.. well, not becca, but someone who looks like her. cos me, joyce and qianyi were having this discussion in macs in amk central there during the hols, then we saw this girl who looked a lot like becca, to me la. haha. the same hairstyle and everything, but not as chio ;) haha. anw, there was this guy opposite her.. and suddenly, qianyi, i think, suddenly said smthg like 'i think that guy's confessing his love for her..' haha. i told this to gillian la. then she was all cracked up.. 'confessing ur love in MACS?!' fast food restaurant mah. haha. so we started talking abt, next time someone confesses his love in kfc, or mos burger, or burger king! then there'll be a burger QUEEN in future, with all the male staff serving in burger king, all the females in burger queen, and in the middle partition there'll be a small booth called burger jr.! haha. funny. we both couldn't stop laughing.
mep lesson not that bad, maybe cos it's not that long, but i was still quite sleepy la. mr cher's not that bad... he composed one song and played it for us there, and it was really nice... and he said he composed it when he was abt our age! haha. so malu.
anw, went home quickly to watch ranma 1/2! haha. gill says it's a ridiculous, or smthg along the lines of that.., show. i think it's funny. really much funnier than other animes.. but when watching animes, if i hear it in chinese, it kinda puts me off, but in jap? that's cool. i like jap! great language.

we're having elearning now.. but the site has so many pple that it's super slow. i can't imagine how slow the comps used by the scholars in the com lab will be like.. 5 times slower? now's more like a chatting time for students as we wait for the server to miraculously speed up.. but now.. i'm still d/ling mirc! haha. cos i hardly use, so i deleted it.. but now seems a nice time to use it..oh, and i only have one free period, not two, but i'm prob gonna do the music lesson at that time..

tmr got e-learning! haha. i juz checked the timetable.. i got 2hrs of free period lor!! starts at 9am-1.30, but there's half hr break, plus the 1hr free period.. so no need to get up so early oso.. haha. oh ya! that means i can watch the repeat of ranma!! haha. yay.
today we went to plan for youth day.. i think it's not gonna be that boring la.. me n hanwan went to buy the cereal today.. i think peishan's buying the apples.. quite exciting! but i feel quite.. not sorry for them, but.. smthg close to that la.. haha. ok anw, we'll see what happens!

went to sch in the afternoon for the mep composition writing lesson.. had to rush the whole morning trying to finish up the song, cos ms oh said muz finish by today.. but luckily most pple din finish, except shiyun! haha. and her korean organ song. but anws, ya la, kinda used up the whole morning when i could have done smthg else.. and the 1st part of the lesson was quite boring.. listening to music that was probably very artistic and everything, but i couldn't appreciate.. like, too 20th cent for me. so i was kinda falling asleep as i sat straight on the chair, then kinda felt bad cos other pple who were listening had to stand the whole time.. oh well. anw, i was really very nervous abt handing in the compo, cos last time he said like can't be too decorated, 2nd class composer, muz organise everything properly.. and everything la, so i was afraid he was gonna comment like that again. so thruout the waiting time, my hands were real sweaty, then when playing that time, they were trembling a bit, and i didn't play it well... and this is only juz submission of hw!! haha. hope no one noticed... but luckily turned out quite alright, except that he asked me to do 2 more mvts!! by next wed!!! which leaves like.. only 4 days and less lor.. how to finish..
prelims are coming. they're EXTREMELY near. so why is it i'm not studying hard? too slack. not enough time.. i think i made a lot of excuses, though there are some times when got held up by band stuff, and this whole hols like only didn't come to sch last wed, other than that, every single day except sun includes sch.. but anws, i think i nv really put in enough effort. dunno how i'm gonna finish revision and everything.. so, ok! i shall stop blogging and start now.

had the leadership training camp in the morning.. could have been more fun, but we got feedback tt it's quite fun liao, so that's gd! haha. anw, the last game was this rojak game, where they had to use certain materials and combine them to form something creative to be a symbol of this day, their leadership training camp day la. so they did these coloured paper things and cut and linked them together, and turned out to be a female 'shuqi' statue of liberty.. with the cup and 'fire' and all.. quite funny. gave us a lot of notes written on oragami things.. like birds etc. realise their squad is very artistic, and a lot of left-handers. the best part, to me la, was probably the sharing session, though we really took too much time, but we managed to explain to them the roles abt the diff posts which they didn't know.. i don't think anyone will really know what happens unless u tell them in detail la, so tt's quite gd.
later went to raffles city then national library to collate the results for the sec2 and 3 nomination or evaluation form.. some parts quite surprising, others not so.. but now after tabulating the scores, we're still not sure who to put for certain posts.. haiya.. very difficult..
then, we went to the esplanade for the tkgs joing with minnesota symphonic winds from USA concert.. wow. it was superb lor.. especially the minnesota one.. their dynamics can go really loud.. the whole room was filled with the sound when they blasted, really.. ahh. haha. dunno when our brass can go to half, or 3/4 that volume..all the timings all so precise also.can see clearly why their both gd bands. then got one part where they played the jazzy ragtime type of songs, and there were a LOT of solos.. their trumpeteer was gd, i think. and the USA band was excellent, of course much better than tkgs la, cos their like, decades old liao. their improvisation really spiced everything, plus they play very loud, so everyone hears loud and clear. if u close ur eyes, u'll prob think u're listening to a recorded version.. it's almost that unblemished. for two songs, they also had a singer, the soprano type, she was really gd too.. but i think the audience quite mean.. some were laughing/ giggling when she hit the high notes... but she did sing very well, all in tune and everything.. one funny thing happened b4 we went for the concert.. well, semi-funny la. to me anw. ANW, we went all the way from city hall to the entrance of the linking passageway to the esplanade, then we stood there and decided to go eat dinner first, since there was some time. so jl suggested going to breadtalk, but i made a face and said "breadtalk?!" meaning it was too far away.. so we went to the nearer delifrance, which was further up ahead. after sitting there for abt 5 min, we decided that it was too ex, so we went ALL the way back to breadtalk to have dinner.. far far away.. haha.

wow. revelation. well, actually... not exactly revelation, but this does set a different perspective, and got me thinking whether i've been actually doing this or not. haiz. don't really think i've done much now..
haiz. headache trying to arrange a date to collect band concert tickets from a person who's starting to irritate me. no.. IS irritating me.
band camp juz over yesterday. the one arranged by the sec3s.. it was.. ok. anw, nominations was held in the drama studio... which was really bad. usually it's in the forum, but cos pri track girls having campfire, so cannot. didn't have the same intimidating atmosphere, and the sec1s AND certain sec4s kept talking.. haha to the sec4s.sec2's drills were much worse than expected... some sec3s did well, others, maybe cos they're too nervous. the questions were tough.. and many of them didn't answer the whole question, or didn't even answer it properly. but maybe that's oweing to nervousness again. could see the sec3s better also.. the funny thing was clarissa and yingyi got fever before nominations, then we isolated them in the dance studio until the last person finished in nominations. then they came in later and qianyi and i told them not to do, cos they got fever and were sweating.. and u know what? turns out they were sweating cos they were practicing their drills in the dance studio! haha. oh, and i noticed yingyi talks like waishan.. but that doesn't mean she's from hk la.. haha .i think i notice the weirdest things.
seems like the sec3 camp com are really sad that they think they didn't really do a gd job during the camp.. i won't say too many comments la. but some parts WERE enjoyable. i think everyone liked the water bombing. and group star liked the circuit training! i think. we won 3 out of 4 games, all with negative integrity.. haha. but it's bcos of the negative integrity that we enjoyed them. so there. food wasn't too bad too.. i think the breakfast was gd. prata every year is juz too conventional. juz that i think too much food! haha. maybe next time juz order for 70 pple can liao. we can share food..
tmr there's the sec3 leadership training camp. got enough activities to see who can lead.. especially the last one. hope they bring enough materials, or won't have enough. then will have harder time.
harry potter's 5th book came out! wow. expected that it wouldn't be too gd, maybe that's cos it took soo long.. but after reading it, i think it's really exciting.!!!! haha. i like dumbledore's army.. i like the idea of harry forming the secret organisation and teaching defence against the dark arts, but it's too bad there weren't too many new spells that they learnt.. umbridge sucks. sirius died! and i still like remus. and yay! that harry and cho aren't together.. yups. haha.
a lot of movies almost finished d/ling liao! yay.. i think atlantis is nice.. and i d/led a song, which filename says david tao-i believe, but michelle says it doesn't sound like him. maybe. it's in korean, and another version i d/led is in chinese, and totally different.. i think they mixed up the filenames la.. i think it's from my sassy girl. since it's korean. anw, it's nice!!!!! haha. and did i mention atlantis is nice? the soundtrack also. and maid in manhattan!!! haha. i like the main theme.. and j-lo acts surprisingly well.. i didn't even think of her as a singer.. the other actor is nice also.. but i dun noe his name. haha.

back after a long break.. i think my last entry was quite.. u know. haha. maybe i was in a bad mood. anw, we've started the understudy thing for band pracs.. the conducting thing isn't so bad, but expected better from some.. but anw, not bad. for others. band camp's next mon-tues! and mediacorp's coming.. interviewing the sec3s and 4s for the brainiest teen thing.. haha. are we that brainy? oh well.
harry potter's coming out!! yay. haha. but dunno whether should buy or not, but i already asked wuhui order.. so prob can't retract, but haven't asked my dad yet, cos he's in.. guess where. hongkong. but it's sars-free already rite? so most prob all clear. anw, hp seems to be less popular now.. in the US, make us wait too long liao ah.. haha.

let's see .. when was the last time i added an entry.. MONDAY. quite long .. anyway, it's been a school-filled and band-filled week... lessons everyday at 7.30, except today.. started at 8.30. then band's on tues, wed and thurs.. full day pracs, and when there isn't full day pracs? then we have band meetings.. turns out the camp is quite unprepared still.. seems to be a bit of communication 'breakdown' between the organising comm. and they really dunno so many things!! $2000 for food?! haiz. we had to help them a lot with the proposals.. which i don't think we really should have done so much when i think abt it now.. should have let them do it themselves. and pls la.. their proposals are quite, tatty. rmb last time, we really put in quite a lot of effort in juz the proposals, on nice neat paper, with everything written in clearly and all.. not that the whole com isn't gd or anything, juz a few minor not-so-pleasant details along the way.. and there's such a thing as the email system. pls send your proposals thru email if you don't see us!! haiz. haha. i think i'm over-reacting here.. haiz.. now i think we should have chosen 1 or 2 people to be the overall in charge. then they can do the paperwork and be the ones to collect everything, look thru, then hand in, ON TIME. even the teachers haven't seen them yet.. which shows tt we're a bit behind schedule. and formations! not sure if they've done it yet, but anw..
gave out the nomination papers this wk.. i've got no one in mind for BM post.. and i don't think the rest of the squad has anyone in mind also.. haha. hope that someone will stand out in the groups or in the organising com during the camp and leadership training camp.. but i do have someone in mind for DM!!! hahaha.. jl and wh n shiyun also know, but i'm not totally sure yet.. she juz gives me a much better impression then when i compare her to a few months ago.. anw, hope the sec3s won't be too freaked out or have slight 'stage-fright' during nominations, cos our questions this year are tough. i think we're quite evil. haha. oh ya, we're gonna let them try out the different posts soon!!! exciting.. can't wait to see who can conduct well, or berato well too..

went to watch 'finding nemo' today.. soo nice!!! nemo's chao cute, and his voice also.. esp when he can't pronounce some words, cause he's still really small..the storyline's really gd too, family type of show, 5 stars. really funny.. the sharks even have a small 3-shark gang, and they have gatherings everyday and recite the pledge: 'fish are our friends, not food'..!
ya, and i esp like the baby sea turtles!!! they're whole gang talks with the sydney slang.. 'hey dude... is this cool or what?'.. 'totally'. they talk like kyle from the amanda show, but they're much smarter, the small ones even try to be the travel person who tells u what to do in the coach, but since he's so little, they can't understand what he's squeaking abt! haha. the pic is the big big 150yr-old turtle, not the small one. 
ok, this is a funny pic... marlin's looking for nemo and sees these fish who can do formations in millisecs, forming a blinking arrow, the sydney opera house, and also.. marlin! they look kinda ghostly.. haha. 
oh ya, my whole family's gone to kl for a mini holiday.. i'm stuck alone at home. quite gd la, at least can do a lot more work in quiet now..
