phew, we've finally submitted our GPF!! hahaha. a great load off our shoulders this week.. cos we're been chionging it the entire week, having late nights etc.. janie's been staying up till 3am, aiyos. but at least that part's done.. yay. had to print out some docs this morning and met seb online! haha. early in the morning at 6 o'clock.. lolz, then met seb online too and helped them print out a few docs.

today S6 fac went to the judo tournament.. .all except S6TWO! haha. cos of PHYSICS PRAC. oh well, physic prac wasn't so bad, it was doable at least, except the graph turns out really bad.

yesterday was heritage fest!!! started off the day with joel saying that it's gonna be a field day to call the police, the racist freak.. and tchs invited an indian sch to come visit to prove that tchs isn't racist, but they think it'll fail.. until now i'm not sure of the outcome. all the class girls except janie and kailing wore a sari, yenzhi had bought it in bulk the day before.. mine was light purple, with a black top bought from the shop, i didn't realise it was small and exposes ur midriff until yenzhi brought it to sch on the day itself.. yar. anws, we all looked really nice.. yenzhi and jingmin looked like greek goddesses, jingmin had her own sari, a brilliant purple, extremely nice when she wore it with a white tee, cos it matches/offsets her skin tone. very nice. michelle & yanru wore a sari too, but yanru took it off early so i didn't get to see it.. mich's was all pink! jiayan's was nice too, qt glam. oh yar the sari's really hard to put on, we missed 20min from ALL our lessons today cos we had to go toilet and adjust, and everytime u use the bathroom, u have to put on the thing all over again.. two cleaning aunties helped tie it on for us, mine was slightly more difficult as my shorts were loose.

heritage fest also means the band performed at bugis! it went rather smoothly in general, only thing is my eyes decided to act up right on that day; once i went there started tearing, eyes got red, pple were wondering why i was crying.. lolz. i don't cry easily. then super irritating and uncomfortable la, which is why i wore specs to sch today. hope the contacts work well tmr. but everyone was really nice.. xiaorui and seekpeng helped me buy some liquid to wash the contacts in, qianyi had to accompany me to the washroom, yanting was really great with advice, the guys were nice too.. and at the end of it junyang kept niaoing me, 'elaine.. don't cry!', but the most pro at that is qianyi, she did it for at least 2hours. haha. michelle was great too, usually see her acting childlike but she does have her stable and mature moments too. good for her =))

i'm being influenced by the bbb. in terms of speech. haha. but i think it's really qt liberating to be able to speak like that. though we are supposed to be like, mature now? but it's refreshing to be allowed to be child like sometimes. though others will give me a weird look, i can imagine wuhui. haha. but qt cute lar.

i love michelle ang's solo in jap graf 6. haha. the slow sad flute part, very very nice and sad and .. emotional. as well as the saxophone part after that. wonder what song that is, since it's japanese. suddenly that song sounds really nice. as well as symphonic overture, the slow part, rocks man. so sad. haha. alwyn's oboe playing is always super, as well as kk's. love to listen to their parts.

fri, we had college day rehearsal again, ended rather late.. but it went well la, just that LOTS of time were wasted while waiting there for the rehearsal to end. but sat went well, college day.. long speech.. then went out, dismissed! onli most pple stayed back, either to study, discuss, or play soccer/basketball/cap's ball etc. and when reception time came, everyone chionged to the reception area.. we got lots of food! haha. and i saw vernon, the ex abm.. and ya, he does look a bit like junyang, except jy's more chinese looking.. vernon's very dark like kenny.

speaking of food, we went coro for lunch, but ke ai ji was totally full, and me char yanner mich came after the rest had ordered.. so we went to another place, wadever, or smthg. a cafe. it's small, but design is VERY nice and fresh and happy, and the food is gd too! for girls, the rice they serve is heart-shaped! haha. i had teriyaki chicken.. yanner had this mix grill thing and mich had pasta with meatballs.. it's nice, and cheap, 4bucks for that, which was qt a lot, and a free drink, this pomelo thingy, very nice! haha. refreshing. and the auntie oso very nice.. help them advertise, but the place is really qt small. oh ya, then they have this whiteboard there, magnets and everything, and pple can just put up any notes they want.. there're jokes, weird stuff, posters, pics, etc.. very interesting.

oh ya next wed is heritage day, we're supposed to come in ethnic costumes! but i dun have any.. haha. how. then. my internet connection got something wrong.. and my warez one. like, can't connect properly. there's a church song, great is your mercy toward me, your loving kindness toward me.. day after day.' i missed a line, forgot it liao. but it's nice, and the church choir sings it nice.. the inflections.

another gd day.. spent breaks in the student lounge playing the piano.. first break was the best, cos just kept playing and playing and playing.. ya. hmms. after sch had band, rehearsal for college day.. but that isn't impt. what is, is that we have a band room revamp committee! haha. made up of me yanner madmich yanting jj joel charmaine. and guess what, it soon ended up to jj and joel leaving early.. so the 5 us of girls left, and we realised we made up a 'canadian brass'! haha. 2 trumpets, 1horn, 1trombone 1tuba. it's like, totally coincidence, and totally rocks. so exciting. the plans for room revamp are great so far, but gotta ask mr so for approval first.. maybe we could give him a proposal tmr then he'll say yes or no by mon and we could work from there.. pls let him approve it! he should. cos he doesn't go into the band room, and we aren't changing anything outside, only the inside, so there.

pe was weight training.. i think it's rather gd, just that mr locke takes ages to teach us.. and he ends early too. learnt only two things within 1hr20min. but, ya, it's useful, i wanna learn more soon, shall ask jimme. during piano lesson, there was an electronic keyboard in the room, so played with that for a while, played 'my way by frank sinatra' on it, with beats and new instrus.. even mrs hong was rather entertained, till there was only 20min left to the lesson. tmr's pop btw.. at st nicks. hope everyone gets what they want.

today there was no morning assembly, but we were there with instrus, so we girls, the bbb and me, tried out canon! haha. the canadian brass version. so fun.. it's really nice, but we played qt badly lolz, first time reading for most, and only seeing tt score for the 2nd time since dunno when. then we padlocked the band room for the rest of the day.. GP time ms owyong didn't come so we had a break! went to open the band room door, and yanru was there! haha. wasn't expecting that. practising canon! so i joined her.. and we practised, and then later michelle came in, and kai kiat, peh, xiaoxuan, yinhow, john, joel, corwin etc.. hahaha. so exciting man.. we tried out amazing grace, cos kk was there! pro player. we had no tuba, so yinhow tried it, couldn't really play, then i tried, the tuba almost fell down (too heavy), and couldn't really play either.. so in the end xiaoxuan played the tuba part using bari sax. it was sorta weird la, but ya, interesting! then after that was kinda high during maths lolz. amazing grace rocks! the dixie style, very happy and catchy and improvisatory. shall get the pro pple to play after morning assembly soon. woa.

physics prac was burning stuff.. well, boiling water. and measuring temp etc. took a super long time, qt sian cos had to wait for water to boil, which took almost 20min.. but our class rocks man, towards the end everyone just went high.. one part was heating up an iron ball till it was red hot then putting it in water to cool.. terence's got so hot that the hook came off! then. beek played with the mic.. leading to eugene going up there and giving a rap! halfway thru seb spoiled it by suddenly saying, '(ah!) my ball melted!' haha. so funny.. it really really melted, from ball shaped became like cylindrical.. then jason also dropped his wire gauze onto his paper, burning it a bit.. and later he burnt another paper, or more precisely, a face OFF a newsletter.. prac was eventful.

today has been great! haha. then madmich yanru and candy went out to watch windstruck but it wasn't showing in cine sadly.. ya, she was so sad, i didn't really reply on the sms at once cos i didn't understand it till i read it again a few hours later. but i shall um, elaborate more to her tmr. so lucky, to have both GREAT S62ers and band pple ard! fun class, fun cca, fun pple, we rock man.

this song has suddenly come to my mind! it's an oldie, very beautiful. haha. tried to write out songs to play.. but since they're for like, orchard park suite atmosphere, for middle-aged pple, the song list consists of mainly.. old songs. then today went to student's lounge to play piano, lots of seniors there, and got a bit mixed up, played an oldie for them! haha. well, it was only 5min cos of econs lect after that, which was super boring. k, i'm writing down here. playing for entertainment purposes means playing what they like to hear.. by guessing, i'd think that pple our age would rather listen to eng and chi pop. jay chou. sun yanzi. david tao. chi is easier than eng.. haha.

smthg great happened yesterday, which i forgot! ahh. haha. i'm listening to creed - my sacrifice now. the rough texture of the singer's voice appeals to my current mood.. dunno why. has been for this past 2weeks. haha. talked more to pj today, and i realised that i actually missed talking to her! i think tmr i'll join the clique that i dun usually tok to more.. it's really, wah. haha then saw pj smile, so sweet! and told her so, and chris agrees! lolz.

today, had rehearsal for college day, big screw up in the beginning.. qt luan. and very waste time, sit there waiting for the rehearsal to end, for 3 hrs. esp for the j2s cos they could have used the time to study or smthg.. nvm, we'll have to do much better during the next rehearsals for the various events.

hmms. the thing that i wanted to rmb, abt the day before yesterday. SOMETHING happened. just. what is it? let's see, i went for yoga. i forgot to bring my hp. michelle chen went to change her braces.. it's now red and blue, joel & kai kiat's fav colours.. and spiderman. yup. muesli bars in ntuc selling at 25cents each. been tired early these days, sleeping earlier, then at 10plus i'm almost dead on the comp, and there're still like 16pple from the class online! hmms. shud be doing kinetics tut now. is there anything else to say? my brain feels like shutting down now. well, i'm just taking a break from work to write out some crap in here. haha. and i still can't rmb the thing i wanted to rmb.

it's been a week since i've blogged here.. okay. first off, i'm saying 'woaw' a lot more! haha. er, 62 tradition? must get more pple to say it more often.

well, what's been happening the entire week? got back our block test results, passed all so far, but hopefully they can moderate some so that can get better grade. everyone's comparing what kinda word they get, so far i've heard of CEO, DEAD, and the 3 stupid gays want 2Bs, 2Os, forming a word nice to them. sheesh. yernfai's funny, he didn't come for 2, and failed the other 2. so it ws FXFX. then he said 'haiz, FXFX, means must go home and fan3 xing4 fan xing'. lolz.

my current song genre craze is rock music. yep. nickelback's someday, lifehouse's sick cycle carousel, hoobastank's the reason, creed's my sacrifice etc. oh ya! there's accidentally in love by counting crows, very catchy. another song, one which i can for some reason imagine diyang singing to shuting, are you gonna be my girl by jet. he looks like he has that kind of voice. haha.

yest(sat), stayed in sch till everyone left, ard 6pm, cos had to go auntie shane's place for dinner. it's at orchard park, a condo-type of hotel, right behind taka. so went to taka first to shop, look ard for bags.. didn't find anything except some earrings which were qt cheap.. but i did find a bag today! haha. from the wallet shop.. it's white, and i think it's what i've been looking for so far, so.. yay.

1. ivan's in national water polo team! i think. representing s'pore, will be in bangkok a week before promos, a dangerous period.. if he really really accepts it. it's super hiong, 5days a week, so academically it's not tt gd, but the guy keeps telling them 'nation before self'. so, hopefully he comes to make the right decision soon =)
2. the book buzz abt the class: john harris's 'i kissed dating goodbye' and 'boy meets girl'. they're christ-centred, and they're gd and convincing. i kissed dating gdbye is strictly not recommended for pple who are currently dating, cos.. it's convincing. telling you abt why you shouldn't have physical relationships before you're ready for commitment, and everything else you can do in the meantime. boy meets girl, according to jason, is abt courtship, but it's rather idealistic, so to sum both books up, you probably just shouldn't date. =)
3. calvin won the lee kuan yew book award!
4. there's a new teacher, chem i think, who's name is lee kuan yew, lolz.
5. buddy systems have resumed, this time there's both boy-girl, girl-girl, and boy-boy. soon we'll have a chinese-speaking day again too, maybe once every week or two.

band updates
1. we've got a 5-person handover comm so far, and it might be in sentosa if all is approved! it's gonna be super zai if everything goes according to plan. oops i just realised we prob have to go through the teachers first. ack.
2. homecoming: we're selling chicken wings! only realised that on sat.. prior to that, thought it was cheese puffs. =p
3. symphonic overture rocks!!!! and college day fanfares DON'T.
4. we did a remix of the college song on sat, we should do it more often, it's like the best version of the college song i've ever heard.
5. our band is now SMALL. we gotta work hard for upcoming concerts and syf! milton wants an overseas trip this dec. anyone up to it?

came back from class chalet today! haha. sat to monday, 3days 2nights, at aloha resort at changi, which is coincidentally the SAME as the band one in march! just that it was bungalow E now.. mr ong helped us book it, as he's a civil servant, so it only cost 80bucks for the booking instead of 222bucks.

some of us met earlier at richard's house on sat.. abt 12plus, there was me beek nic alvin eugene.. we went to ntuc at bukit timah to get the stuff, it's rather big so lucky we could get everything we wanted there.. jason liping and ivan met us there later. bought lots of stuff! much over budget, cos our budget was actually rather cheap at first.. we spent more than expected. then, returned to rich's house to marinate the chicken, make the salad and cook the beehoon.. we 3girls spent almost the whole time in the kitchen doing the stuff.. and the guys went to play ps2! haha. ivan cooked the beehoon though, but rich's house was like out of everything beehoon needed like soy sauce etc.. then in the end we realised that his mom was actually at home in her room, so she came out and helped us with the rest of the food, thankfully, i think she saved us, taught us some things too. seb later contributed a lot of junk food! think he spent abt 50bucks on us.

bbq was qt successful, we started on time! yay. oh ya, the girls shared a cab there.. we were the first to reach, and the place is super uloo la, so when we alighted we weren't sure if that was the place anot.. luckily mr ong came soon after and confirmed it. the house, 3bedrooms a living room and a kitchen. it's spooky. and it's near changi hospital, which is spooky too. beek kept wanting to go there..

a funny part of it was when we tried to move the tables out of the door and to the bbq pit area.. (after that i rmb seeing the sign on the cupboard: do not move the furniture! lolz.) then the table got a bit stuck.. it was an extendable table, so we thought we'd make it unextended first then bring it out.. and when we shifted things ard, and opened a middle compartment, suddenly a lizard came out!!! leap and beek screamed like mad, and me and nicole followed, but it was qt funny lar, then everyone outside thought what was happening.. ('aiya, it's only a small baby lizard ..')okay. bbq was gd, we managed to get the satay and otay, both of which were excellent.. but bought too many chicken wings, couldn't finish abt slightly less than half a tray.. oh ya, the salad was nice too! qt refreshing when you've got lots of bbqed food, then your throat might feel a bit sore.. ya, too bad the 3gays didn't have any, they really don't eat vegs at ALL.

was really cosy, we then sat ard the bench, telling ghost stories, & stories abt tchs.. turns up there's qt a lot.. seb was really scared, only say the word 'ghost!' and he'll scream and cover his ears! mr ong came ard that time, with his wife and son.. (little ong!) so cute! only 2yrs old but qt big sized.. oh, we asked invited most of the teachers but only he came up.. ms chen couldn't as she had to attend a wedding dinner which ended late, the guys were soo disappointed! lolz. oh man now that i'm writing abt all this, i'm thinking of personalising our class bench! put a big S62 there, and lots of pictures with captions, and just put a plastic sheet over it so can easily replace after any event like this.. wahh. haha. anw let's get back. ya! most pple turned up, really gd. even like weiqi chermaine peiwen chris. most left on sat night, fang esp early cos he had a match the next day. abt 10plus of us stayed overnight.. played soccer, ps2, cards etc.. jason's the pro-est, didn't sleep at all, in 2days, only slept for abt 2-3 hours. julian & jessie were super scandalous. we also went to changi village, cheers to get nice ice cold drinks! and looked for transvestites, i only saw one, that night only got 3, usually got qt a lot more.. he/she really got gd figure, wore only a black bikini! but their voices are really low, it's all really weird.

went to the hawker centre for breakfast.. then went to pulau ubin! 4 girls, 6guys i think. well, started with 5girls, angela included, but she went back halfway.. went there, got our bicycles.. and started off. haven't cycled in qt a while.. but i was still alright, though ubin's not recommended for new cyclists. angela didn't really know how to control her bike brakes.. first, at an uphill part, i think she sort of skidded? dunno. and fell and scrapped her leg.. but not much damage. later, there was a really steep slope down.. and that was scary, alvin came down really fast, turned .. haha like.. hmm, not bad. then eugene, also really fast. then angela! hers was SUPER fast, almost at break neck speed, but she didn't turn at the bottom, and crashed straight into the pole in front! hit her head.. eugene was afraid she'd gotten a concussion, but lucky, at first she was rather dazed and couldn't stand, but after a while she seemed alright in the head, though there were bruises.. the impact was so great that the paint from the green pole got imprinted onto her leg??! and the bike brakes were rather damaged after that fall.. lolz. wahh, we expected that she'd crash into the bushes behind the pole or smthg, never INTO the pole directly.

after that, everyone decided it'll be better if she didn't continue.. yup, so sent her back to the mainland, julian & jess to take care of her.. and the rest of us later continued.. alvin and eugene have done this sort of hikes a lot, and both seem really experienced and pro in handling the angela that kind of situation to me.. we're really lucky to have them ard. next time must rmb to bring first aid kit along, or part of it. they brought us to a place where we could see the quarry.. we shouted at the top and could hear our echoes! very nice. oops beek also fell, cos at a really sharp turn, almost collided into another cyclist, but she moved away and fell instead.. but the other guy was nice abt it, gave us 3plasters and tried to help out la. she's got an ugly bump where the bicycle hit her leg. lunch was a tuna sandwich and a canned drink or coconut. after that we returned, but alvin eugene chris and weiqi stayed behind and continued, the rest of us qt tired liao. went back, tended a bit to angela, played scrabble! which is qt fun, and cards. and ps2 again.

this night only me & beek, jaz alvin eugene ivan richard seb stayed overnight.. ya. amanda came for a while. haiyo, amanda and seb really screamed a lot.. amanda kept scaring seb.. we also went up to the room, switched off all the lights, and richard told us an ubin ghost story. haha. turns out it's super lame la. then went down to send amanda out.. her parents came to pick her. when we went up again, beek had hid in a cupboard! she n rich ganged up on us.. and richard called us to go sit and he'd tell another story.. 'quickly quickly!' and beek thought he meant get out of the cupboard, and she came out.. haha, so the joke fell flat. hmm, but beek's hp got a rather freaky pic.. and when she opened the cupboard, and i saw her from a small partition, she looked exactly like the pic! freaky.

we went to changi village again for supper, the guys had nasi lemak from a famous nasi lemak stall there, forever a long queue. saw a transvestite again. super gd shen cai, very tall, sexy clothes, butt can really shake as they saunter.. haha. oh man. euro2004 was qt disappointing to jason, he'd bet on portugal to win but greece won instead.. lolz. whole night he kept shouting everytime it got near the goal, and was like 'argh!!' when greece's got in. the name mentioned the most that night was PAULETO. that guy really.. dunno what he was doing man, and only got subbed in the later part of the second half, but a bit too late. jaz could have won 85bucks! oh well.

mon
woke up later than we wanted to, the pple suppposed to come stock check at 850.. but we only woke at that time lolz, too tired liao. had to pay for excess utility bills, and lost 4chairs, but hopefully they found it in the neighbour's bungalow, we'd lent it to them during soccer. later went to macs for brunch in tampines mall.. planned to meet at orchard later but was cancelled in the end, rich and eugene k.o., and rich was asleep for the entire mrt ride back to clementi.. haha. but i got new sport shoes liao, finally! the old pair was dying, or dead. and a new top.. haha. yup.

all in all, the chalet was fun, organised, and might be better if we'd planned more games/events for the 2nd day. oh yar, rich missed his match on sunday.. couldn't find the toa payoh stadium! so wasted. they prob could have won that relay, but had to pull out. okay back.. and if we'd taken note of the aircon usage, then no need to pay extra.. and kinda over budget too. bought much excess unnecessary stuff. however, in all was successful! yay. dec chalet will be much better, & the next =))

wanna and gonna change my layout soon!

watched spiderman with beek rich ivan liping jeremy yesterday.. 6 of us, had a gd time after that, liping went all crazy, kept asking jeremy to strip, and in the end said, aiya, nvm richard still is the cutest and the sexiest etc.. later she saw jiayan, ran to hug her and fell over! pushed both of them down.. she's really high man. helped jiayan flag a cab too, beek helped for that, after a long long time of waiting, when the passengers before us came out, kept saying 'thank you'! in a highly grateful voice, over and over, and hi and bye etc, and the couple were qt amused i think, kept smiling and saying yes, yes, hi, no problem, don't mention ..

before that, was shaun eugene alvin with us.. they couldn't stay for the movie though.. they all went off with us first, went to ps, alvin wanted to go check out the food fair but ended up at food court.. we all went to check out music instrus first then joined them.. ya. spiderman was really really gd. muz go watch. but it was lame though.. haha.

well. block test is over. yay. tmr's our class chalet.. till monday, it'll be great!
