been chionging my gp project for time tunnel for the past two days! haha. the ppt takes so long to do, plus getting all the info. chinese civilisation is really big. anws. hmm. monday was relatively uneventful, or at least i can't rmb it liao. today.. went for aerobics marathon in the afternoon, it's like, 20min warm up, 45min aerobics, 20min work out again, then abt half an hr of hip hop dancing, taught to us by ms chen, one of the pe teachers.. she's gd. and can dance well. it was qt fun la.. the aerobics instructor was really really funny. haha. but qt sad la, when she started working out, was extremely enthu and had lots and lots of stamina. then some girls, or quite a lot of girls started laughing loudly and all that.. well that's qt bad for her la. but luckily after a while it wasn't so bad, we got used to her neverceasing energy. got super sweaty in the end.

tmr got chem spa! i better study more for it tonight.. tmr onli got one econs tut before that, so tonight's the onli time. oh ya, had chem spring test today.. our whole class literally copied answers read out by terence and calvin. like terence says 'i think it's A'.. then all of us put A oso.. haha. what else? jingmin and i had a hair braiding contest, see who do faster. she's slow =p. haha. or maybe cos she was talking to shaun and forgot abt the speed part.

today is labour day! and guess what.. i woke up at six fifteen in the morning! lolz. was supposed to meet yenzhi at kap at 7.30... but in the morning we smsed each other again, and decided that, since terence was gonna come at 9, and was gonna treat both of us, we'd meet at 8 instead! hahaha. and guess whad again? terence decided not to come, so no treat.. and we ate breakfast onli ard 9.30.. so it was me yen and ivan studying, and julian kailing and aaron oso came, to discuss pw with yen.. but onli for a short while. the rest of the time, did phy prac and studied some circular motion.. which was actually all very unproductive.. onli managed to do that in.. 4hrs? well, gotta add the breakfast and toking time too la. hmms. i wanna find someone to study tmr with me! hahaha. haven't asked anyone yet though.

after that, tianyu came ard 1230 to meet yen. my gravitation notes are with angela for some reason, and phy test is on monday! so i wanted to photostat from yenzhi.. but since it's labour day, we walked to bukit timah plaza, and couldn't find a single photocopying machine.. so in the end tianyu bought a phy a level guide book, and lent it to me for the weekend! haha. so nice. but gotta carry it ard for the whole day.. now my fingers are red.. cos that plus the phy tys = HEAVY.

later, we all went orchard together.. separated from there as they went vj funfair, and i went to window shop by myself for abt 1hr while waiting for shiyun.. ya, tried on lots of clothes! i like the ones at royal sporting house a lot... it's nice, and sporty and comfortable. too bad it's FORTY bucks. but anw, went to lots and lots of stores.. finally bought a black tee at giordano. then.. shiyun came. we went ard looking for places to study.. but unfortunately, since it's a public holiday, there was no place to work! orchard library was closed. macs at taka area was full. so was coffee bean and kfc and mos burger. in yoshinoya, we found a place, but we sat down to eat.. then got lots of pple, so couldn't study. then we decided to go ps! and sadly, everyplace there was full too, except yoshinoya again. by that time, shiyun went to join wuhui to window shop, and i was with qianyi and joyce.. ya, so in the end didn't study lor. juz sit there and tok and watch them eat. so nice to chat with them.. haha. qian's funny and sarcastic and makes u laugh. or at least, makes me laugh.

after chatting, went to this place opposite fareast with joyce (qian went to parkway parade for dinner with her parents) and went to look ard for clothes.. didn't find anything la. then she left, and i went to join our st nics class clique! haha. wuhui shiyun sus ethel and adeline were there.. met them at breeks in taka. had a nice time having a rather gd dinner, which was super ex, and chat.. and then later hung ard there to take photos. everyone's exactly the same. adeline's still wearing her oversized shirt and short shorts. after dinner, didn't noe where to go.. we even stood in a circle near the info counter, then walked ard it in circles. lolz. decided to go heeren.. walked ard a bit.. ahh, so many nice tees. haha. i wanna get a racerback. but i'm broke. lol.

altogether it's a very nice sat.. haha, spent the whole day with friends, both old and new.. and i've been walking abt the entire day, so my legs are super tired now.. and i gotta chiong my gp project now! haha. to compile everything. sian. and still muz do pw proposal by tmr.. ahh. anws, being with the st nics clique made me a little more talkative today.. like, lame again la, like sec sch time liddat.. cos as i've said b4, felt i've become quieter and slightly more serious most of the time in jc.. and ya, i'm like, laughing for no reason, and laughing uncontrollably at my own jokes with them. i rmbed abt the gummy bear during chem lect! hahahaha. tried to tell that one to adeline.. in the end, i was laughing so hard i couldn't talk, and she juz stared at me.. and the rest kinda explained it. haha. i am easily amused.

susanti's bday today!! haha. we got her a bag.. though i didn't see it.. but nvm. tmr we're going out to orchard for dinner.. meeting at 6pm there, go out for dinner! clique outing.

after sch today.. went to the band room.. kk was playing creed's higher on the trumpet! wow. and peh played the drumset.. it was qt interesting.. unusual u see. didn't noe kk oso listen to creed lol. then peh came down and sat with me michelle and yanru.. and showed us card tricks! like.. david blaine type too.. he figured it out, and ya, it was interesting.. and i was qt confused, like.. eh, how did he do that? but peh was very nice, showed us all how to perform the trick after that..

michelle has a concert today! nj choir concert, was supposed to go but wuhui suddenly had dunno what on then can't make it.. and so i got no one to go with me.. then in the end she sold off the tickets.. so sad, and feel a bit bad too. like.. she came for my concert but i'm not at hers.. ah. nxt time i'll force someone to go with me.

i'm listening to saga candida now! got a craving for it. i think the most unique part of the whole song is the saxaphone parts. it's like.. the song is band music style. but when the saxa comes in for its solo, esp at the 4th minute and 45th sec, or when it plays melody, it's tone colour is different, and changes the whole atmosphere. it suddenly sounds like a modern work, and like kenny g liddat. it's very unique, dunno how to describe. i think it may be because of that particular saxaphonist.. his tone. but i like it! i love the saxa parts.

today is a great day! two things happened that absolutely made my day:

first of all, met wuhui in the canteen during break b4 phy prac, she was on the way for her dental appointment.. as always =p. i made some lame joke and kena mock-pushed on the head by her. 5min later she left and susanti came! she was waiting for her friend to take her to interact club at 320, and she was early, so we took the time to chat la, cos we haven't toked in a long long time.. not like that since the beginning of sch! or part thereof. haha. so we talked, and talked, and laughed, and laughed for no reason.. until i was in this silly giggly fit, where u start laughing after u say a sentence for no apparent reason.. i didn't realise how much less i've laughed like that in jc.. sec sch friends are the best! i'm like.. more lame and talkative with them. and will sometimes say or do dumb stuff. they noe me best! i think. haha.

second, after phy prac, went to class bench to write letter with amanda.. then i got a call! and it was from ncc music ministry! haha. it was totally unexpected cos i signed up for auditions to be keyboardist in jan, and they're supposed to call abt 2weeks after la, but i didn't get any call until now, which is like.. 4months away? so i was quite caught off-guard, and auditions are on 12may, wed, 6.15pm at the rock auditorium! ahh, i hope i dun get too jittery on that day.. cos after i put down the phone, i realised my hands were SLIGHTLY shaking in excitement. haha. i was qt hyper after that. for the audition, i gotta play 2 slow and 2 fast songs.. from a short list of songs they gave.. hope i dun screw it up =)

well. wrote a 3page letter to john today! during econs lect.. we had dr siva. he's not bad at lecturing leh. quite lame. though he's apparently a sucky tutor. pw was sian.. haha. partly cos it was really cold, and eveyrone's sick these days.. terence and waiyin had the flu. hope they get better soon! anw it's raining heavily now, even got thunder.

this song is super sad. haha. it has kinda changed my mood too.. more sombre. and pro-sadsongs.. lol. anws, today was a rather uninteresting day.. except that i got to talk a lot more to amanda. she's a really nice person to have convo with.. thruout ct session we were talking all the way. band time, today mainly to let the potential SCs conduct the band.. today was onli charmaine and joel.. did i mention corwin conducted already? so far i think corwin's the best, but that's probably partly becos he was the SC in tchs, so got more experience la. rather sian today.. haha. can tell? this entry is so short.

i'm still listening to the instrumental version of xin tong!! by kit chan!! hahaha. it totally rocks! i love the piano part. yay. lolz. of the playing, there's just the minor detailed chords that i haven't figured out yet.. haha. shall try it out again later.

today's tues.. a nice short day. spent most of the sch time crapping with jason, who's my buddy today. he's just recovered.. didn't come to sch for abt 4 days last week. yupz. yenzhi's not in sch today! she's sick.. and 5pple didn't come today too.. all sick i guess. too bad for the flu bug going ard. anyway, was ard with crappy pple today.. lolz, buddy with jason, crapped during gp and physics.. breaktime went to SIM, listened to eugene mainly crap.. and during chem lect jeremy was trying to get bets to see who would dare to ask this girl if she liked jason! haha. in the end they didn't do it la.

after sch mugged a bit with terence and szexiong .. then went for yoga! haha. HnF.. they have yoga, 8 sessions, tuesdays, 1hr each time.. it was qt fun la, and interesting.. abt 15 girls there and one male teacher. yep. felt quite relaxed after that, but maybe cos i ran 3km on sat, then prob haven't recover yet then ran again yesterday.. 2km. and today yoga... so could feel that my muscles were still quite tense la. haha. but dun mind yoga, it's not bad. and nxt tues there's the aerobics marathon! haha. that sounds fun... 2hr marathon, and the ones who survive at the end get a prize! yep.

after that went to band room to do a bit of work with michelle and charmaine, that one was quite nice. haha. enjoyable to study with them.. and u also get work done. michelle went to write another 'I love kK' on the wall. lol. hmms. then went home with meisiang n adrian, that was qt interesting too, first time i really interact liddat with them. and band is oso supposed to arrange score for 'count on me singapore!'. haha. but the thing is, it's super short.. how exactly do u make that small part sound nice by itself? hmms. leave that to our pro student conductors.. haha.

just came back from rj band and string ensemble concert.. it was good! haha. the most impressive was the last piece, played by orchestra, and the composer is wong ka chun, a 17yr old in rjc right now!!! wowee. the piece was super nice, like a movie soundtrack, very long.. a bit luan and rather unstructured, but for a 17yr old it's super impressive. and the sound he makes is so nice.. uses all the mellow strings and tones to create a really nice warm sound. also, rj band is gd.. they have a zai flautist and trumpeteer, who is also wong ka chun. haha.

well, a lot of us went for the concert.. sat with junjia, and there was also joel, john, shien, yinhow, kk, allison and meisiang. the j1s, me corwin junjia joel john shien went to eat before that at prince.. that's my first time there, the food is not bad .. yup. haha.

i love white pianos today!

okay abt my day, hmm. got econs test. well, the macs qn came out for essay.. didn't prepare it all that well and didn't memorise, so HOPE i can get a decent mark, though i doubt it. and hopefully the mcq can pull me up, but not sure.. econs isn't my gd subj. well, then physics lecture, sat nxt to yenzhi, cos my buddy calvin took ocp.. he had a really bad flu sorethroat and headache. lots of pple are sick actually.. many with sore throats. yenzhi's sick too.. tmr she's not coming to sch. poor thing. anw, sat nxt to her.. and we talked and talked thruout lecture.. haha. i'd forgotten how nice it is to chat with her liddat. she's a great girl. it was really ENDLESS chat. we click! lol. pe was badminton.. haha. mr lee is rather slack. but hope he does more vigorous exercises la.. i want more workout..

proud of myself today! interacted with almost all the girls in class.. like, beginning of sch was with peijun beek and a bit with jingmin.. kailing & amanda during break time, and yenzhi during phy. waiyin during pw. maybelline and beek during pe. haha. anw after sch.. went to jog ard tchs with shien.. he runs so fast! ah. partly becos of his long legs.. budden he's really like a deer liddat.. he bounds. lol. 2 rounds only, actually planned for 3 but decided to stop.. ahh. napfa nxt week leh. how .. haha. oh ya! i'm joining health and fitness club.. lols. prob will go for the session tmr.. it's yoga for the next 8 weeks. and there's an aerobics marathon too! haha i wanna join that.

the song i'm in love with now is the instrumental version of kit chan's heartbreak, or 'xin tong'. it's BRILLIANT and totally NICE. it pulls at ur heartstrings. or at least MY heartstrings. ahh. anw, it reminds me of gatekeepers so i've put up the pics above. love it after listening to it for a while.. not just from the first time. it uses orchestra and qt a lot of piano. there's this part which sounds like the yamaha children's jmc cd.. like animals trotting ard... but it's still cute. it's slightly cheena.. meaning they use pentatonic scales. but i love the chords, esp the pre-chorus!! i love the pre-chorus!! hahaha. the 1st time the prechorus is played, the piano plays the melody, and the plucked strings harmonise.. i love the sound of the plucked strings! haha. 2nd time, the strings play the melody and the piano has these downward running notes.. the melody is actually simple, i think it's cos of the changing harmonies.. so nice!!! and it ends the theme with this short oboe solo..hahaha. i wanna upload the song but powerwebmusic is down! sianz. lol, hopefully it'll be alright soon enough before i change my fav song to smthg else. =)

had a weird dream. well, weird dreams the past few nights. the first..a few nights ago, i dreamt of diyang! haha. which was weird. well, i was juz walking .. among these girls and ladies, and suddenly i saw this person in a purple sarong.. head covered, tall and hunched up, and when the person turned ard, i suddenly realised that it was diyang! haha. so weird right. but i woke up right after that.

2nd weird dream was juz now.. i had a nap lolz. dreamt that i was in this shop, metro or smthg. they sold lots of handbags there, the nice but ex kind. and i suddenly saw this keyboard! haha. funny, selling keyboards at metro. anw, it was on, so i went to use it.. and cos i came from church (as in, really, since today's sunday) so i played this church song.. using the piano as the voice.. and there were also two pedals. then suddenly the more i played, i realised that there was singing! as in, the keyboard.. was making the sounds.. of the church music ministry singing, could hear adeline's voice above the rest so that was qt nice.. haha. and somehow everything became a bit haywire.. it started playing on its own, the silly keyboard. but it was super pro i think.. very big, with great speakers, and those pedals! they were there for a high-tech purpose i bet.. haha. i gotta get a keyboard soon.. shall browse ard thomson plaza and tampines mall.. and swee lee.. yea. i've got over 1000bucks budget so shud be able to get a gd long-lasting non-kiddish one.

tmr got econs test! production theory and elasticity essay.. hope i can do better than last time, a low pass.. lolz. today's church service was superb. as in, EVERYTHING was super gd. i loved the first four songs they chose.. i was able to sit in the auditorium!!! haha. usually it's super filled up, u gotta go to the overflow rooms. so the sound quality was great la. live performance. and our guitarist is getting more and more zai, outwardly too.. he's smiling and laughing and jumping along to the music.. getting really into it and enjoying himself, and he's really gd too. abt music, they also had a performance at the end of the service, played one song, mainly guitars, and two male singers. nice arrangement, and the guitars were gd!!! i liked the solo, though i can't rmb it well. and the singers were also gd! i was reminded of the acoustic version of kiss from a rose, not the song melody, but the arrangement style. very nice.

and we had a guest speaker from lousiana, he and his wife. well, he was the main one la.. and the message was on faith. yea! and so i was like.. qt psyched after the whole service.. he could preach really well, and made lots of examples and funny jokes and everything.. interesting stuff:
1. his brothers are pastors, his dad was a pastor, his granddad was a pastor, and his son is now a pastor!
2. in their church at lousiana, at some small town, maybe west texas, where there was only 3000 pple, 2400 people would attend service!
3. he doesn't have a right thumb.. when he was 1yr old, his 4yr old bro then told him to put it in a bicycle chain, and apparently he spinned the wheel, so his thumb got chopped off.. and at that time, his family juz moved to that place. and his parents were under LOTS of stress, so to add it all, he had to go to his mum and say 'look mum no thumb!'
4. his mum is 77, and when his dad preached in the church, she would get all into the groove and shout 'hallelujah!' and run ard the audi! haha. really. n so he asked her abt that one day.. 'mum why do u run?' and she said it's cos when they juz moved to west texas, had lots of bad things happen to them .. and she was under so much stress that she hardly came out of her room for 2 years.. and his dad had a heart attack too. that was when he was 1yr old.. the cut-off-thumb thing. so one day a friend gave his dad a book, on faith-SAYING or smthg. speaking out ur faith. and so his dad went to the room and told his mum to say out lots of stuff from the bible.. he'd say a verse and she'd repeat, like 'God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind', and other stuff, lots abt healing and faith.. and they did it for a long time, and suddenly her depression lifted and she juz stood and said out loud 'thank you jesus! etc..' and becos of that she juz can't contain her joy, and has to rejoice during services.. so that's why she runs ard the church hall.
5. one day his friend came to visit the church, and at that age, abt 17, he was still like, 'why does my mum have to run ard the church?' and other stuff he thought was weird in the church.. so b4 that, he prayed 'God, please, no speaking in tongues today. no tongue-speaking.. and please don't let my mum run ard the church today' and guess what. when the service started, a woman behind them started speaking in tongues REAL loud, and other people ard them too.. and his friend's eyes started opening really wide. and then his mom got into it again and she shouted 'hallelujah!' and started to run ard the church.. and i forgot to mention sometimes she'll also pull pple out of the crowd to run with her as she goes along.. and his friend's eyes were like saucers then, and he asked 'WHO is that woman?' so pastor joe's saying 'nope, i duno who she is.. ' =p well actually the point he was trying to make was that, when the devil comes in and tries to do something bad (cos that was a BAD prayer, u realise) God will do greater things to counter that!

okay. i wanna buy the cd for this service! yea! haha. better still, i wanna get the vcd or dvd! hope it comes out soon.. your mouth is really the most impt part of ur whole body. it controls ur brain u noe.. once it moves, all parts of the central nervous system will be 'turned on', as compared to other parts of the body which, when moved, will only cause a certain part of the system to operate. oops and i rmbed juz yesterday i was playing latin sun in the band room for gordon, and he said he'll ask me to play it on the 4th floor and then he'll jump down.. and i was super harsh and said 'jump down la..' lolz. okay it was juz a joke.. haha. he noes it too la. gordon will live a long good life! yea.

today feels like a full sch day even though it's sat.. went for band in the morning at 9.. had combine till 12pm. we played latin sun! and souvenir. and disney fantasy, and smthg else called broadway smthg. that one was nice..it's a medley of songs, got phantom of the opera, and les miserables.. all that. and cats too i think. latin sun is nice.. i finally heard the full thing.. haha..

after band, sang happy bday to hewhui! poor girl.. her bday's on a band day.. and she got creamed! well, not creamed, but she was splashed by some liquid.. made of something grey-looking plus vegetables inside.. they brought this mixer to mix everything, and poured it all into a bucket.. and all on her. she was DRENCHED. lol. well.. then i walked out with qianyi.. came back cos no time for her to eat cos she got extra lessons.. so i decided to run! yay. i ran three rounds ard tchs.. that means abt 3km. with junjia.. yupp. i still feel unfit though, muz run more next week.

later, we went for lunch at coro.. with the j2 girls, meisiang ginny ali sharon esther john junjia shien.. yupp. all sat on the floor and makan.. john treated me to lunch! hahaha. thankew! so nice of him. then juz had a nice time chatting and laughing and examining things.. and kicking a hl milk carton on the way back to sch.. yar. a whole grp didn't go for lunch, they were playing bball, so we juz leaned against the railings there and watched them.. and had a few jokes too. meisiang laughs really loudly. lol. after a long look and laugh, we went back to the run.. did a bit of econs with qianyi, then went to play latin sun on the sax!!! hahahaha. yay i can play a bit.. i shall practise on it more soon. so fun. anws, left sch abt 715.. studied there with qianyi till then.. finished onli econs chap10 and a bit of 11 now... haha. too many distractions lar.

fruits! haha. these aren't my fav but nvm, i love fruits =)

wow. i'm in a bright mood now. listening to happy songs make u happy u noe that? listen to funky jap songs. real emotion, la la la love song.. and right now it's doraemon lolz. it's not particularly nice, but it's cute. the other song which always makes me high is 'every time you cry' by human nature and john farnham. it's like.. i listen to my discman on the way back home.. and yar, i'll be inwardly smiling and singing along.. haha. okay that sounds lame. but it's a really feel good song.

haha i juz went to this funny website! abt calories. it's supposed to be gd la.. but i find it funny, the calorie calculator.. apparently i'll burn 282 calories by playing the piano for 2hrs! lols. anw it's here: calorie calculator yupp.
