Today at my first class of the semester, I got some interesting things to tell you. Well, probably not about the class itself but the things that interests me. First the lecturer is my lecturer in first semester. He teached me Religion 1 (we use to have religion 1-3). And now he teaches me Professional Ethics. Lidya is in the same class, but she left earlier, because she hadn't checked her schedule, so she line up to check the schedule at the ASIT terminals outside the administration bureau. Believe me, the line is VERY long. We have 3 terminals only.
I climbed 4 floors to get to the class. Someday, this climbing stairs will give me asthma! Anyways, the lecturer pointed out what happened in Feb 1st? All of what's in my mind was uhmm... Chinese New Year? No, it was the Columbia explosion. Err... really? I thought it was far before Chinese New Year? Well, whatever!
He also pointed out that the space shuttle came into contact with the earth ROTATION which causes gesekan? Please, sir, it's called ATMOSPHERE! And the SAME thing happened again? Sir, Challenger exploded at lift-off. Columbia exploded when it went home! Duh!
Then I don't know what does he pointed out, when the word layang (fly) came out of his mouth, when the right word supposed to be lajang (single, marriage status) :D In the past, the word j was pronounced y, but not to be applied in this particular word!

After d class, Conie called my cell. I couldn't hear it. I always put my cell on silent mode. :D But, somehow, I have this 6th sense telling me that the cell is 'ringing'. She said she'll wait for me at the 6th floor. It's French Day. I read that my French instructur Mme. Helena Agustin is coming, so I asked Conie to go with me.
Well, I rush to buy a sandwich and a bottle of mineral water, before going to the library. When I got there, er... where are the other participants? Why there's only me and Conie? Then Mme. Agustin come. She ask me, "Ca va?" I replied, "Conie." because I heard "Sama (siapa)?" (with whom) XDDD Stupid! Then after late for about half an hour, those hotel management students came in. Mme. Agustin even pointed us out that she knew us ^^; the only two person who don't wear uniforms!
Well, after that me and Conie went to P building to check out my club's bazaar. But, there was no table nor books in sight. Huh? Then I ate my lunch after taking Conie to take her Study Plan Card. I met Dhannyanto and asked him about the bazaar. He said, the kids (present club committe) told him that probably they'll start out on Wednesday. Oh..!
Then we spent the next hour standing looking at a cooking demo held by that French lady. Eew, she's quite disgusting, tasting cooked things directly with the spoon or spatula she's using. And the food? Tasteless! They also explained things about dinner behaviour in France and stuff. I ate the prawn a bit, it's half cooked and I dunno, just don't like it.
I went back to the library to work, but, the Mandrake server broke so basically we cannot update any PHP related CMS. All I did was forward the new book and the announcement of PetraNet service (in the library) is closed for good. Poor students! Then, Conie called me to go and watched the French movie.
Before that I pay the book I been telling you about. Principle Accounting Fourth Ed. that should cost around 175K, it only cost me 17K!! What a bargain! When I told Conie during the LAME movie, Conie was very surprised. Well can't blame her. She told me the book should cost around 200K rite now.
We went home before the film ended. It's so BORING! And when I look at the desk again. Sheesh, they don't deliver my Sunday paper again! I've had it. I called the newspaper agent the other day and cancelled my subscription. And all they told me was you CANNOT cancel KORAN TEMPO subscription until the end of the month, yeah rite. I didn't get any Sunday paper since F4 was featured >_<#. And BTW your showbiz writer name Telni..., told her to DOUBLE-CHECKED her eyes, Mariah Carey's ex-husband name is TOMMY not TONNY! Stupid! I like the newspaper, but surely what did the editors do? Who manages the distribution? I tried to call to Jakarta to ask if they have other newspaper agent that's close to my house so I don't have to PAY EXTRA 8000 and STILL NOT GETTING ANY SUNDAY paper and all they say was WE'LL CALL YOU BACK. Yeah, rite!
I LIKE SUNDAY paper, because I love to read the learning articles. AND thank you LORD, the extra RUANG BACA (Reading Room) was NEVER put in any Sunday edition. Phew! I'll be crying if they did dat! Well, enough b1tch1ng about newspaper. I think I'll have to settle with KOMPAS next month. Sigh!
I read for the whole afternoon. Conie did persuaded me to buy CosmoGirl. Nice article. BTW, why didn't Jay Chou's performance showed on the show here in Global TV?
Then, I tried to listed my projects. OMG, I 10 projects to do. 19 books to read. 2 papers for a start in the new semester. G-R-E-A-T! Not to mention, I have lost all of my RADAR erasers. The big and the small one! Sh~~t! It's expensive! It should last 4 yrs! But now it's gone! >_<#
I saw the Grammy's with Lidya. It's Norah Jones night. Avril, guess you just have to be content with those MTV Asia Awards you got!
Once again I have to noted. If it wasn't for F4, we wouldn't have so much Asian stuff in Indonesia. Well not all Asia, still the East Asia, but I think that's a start.
