Miz taking the liberty of writing about Cadet, since he doesn't know anything about editing this portion of the page yet. So don't think bad of Miz if anyone doesn't like what Miz wrote. Well I'm planning the outing sometime in July... before I go back...on a Friday...since that's always the days in which Mina goes out.

Denny, Fridays, Appleby's they're all about the same type of food. Denny's is known for it's breakfast food. However.. NYC does not have it. >_< The nearest Denny's is in NJ. God... seems like it's an urban strip mall resturant.

I've been to all of these places. They serve the regular American diner food...burgers and such. I was giving them as examples. Not for certain at these type of places you know. Not unless you guys want to go to Olive Garden? I've been there and the food is...ehhh...

Mina... I didn't take you to be a Golf person... that's the only reason you're getting the game, because of the deal?

Well I'm trying to get other people on isol to post. Cadet dropped off the face of the planet. I'll try to call him this weekend to see what's up.

Regarding Amazon and BN... I see.. oh well I've got to try and get something from there you know. I do shop at BN occasionally.

Hmmm.. comedy sitcom. Does Simpsons count as one? Other then that I like Seinfeld and Fraser. I'm only watching reruns now... basically because no time and seems kinda pointless.

I've never watched Prince of Tennis before... though I'm very interested in finishing Ghost in the Shell-Stand Alone Complex

Does anyone want to archive this page soon?

Cool, half of the members are here now. Let's see the other half come back from hiding ^__^

Seems like the only American TV show I like is Sabrina: The Teenage Witch... I rarely watch American TV shows anymore. Probably because they're too long...

I like ordering from Amazon because of the shipping ^.^ I don't really want to start buying graphic novels of new series yet. There's so much titles I have to read and want to finish...

Prince of Tennis is a new experience for me. I don't care about tennis. The characters are sooo fun ^.^ Unlike other anime, I like the characters more than the story.

If you order from B&N, though, you'll have to pay sales tax according to your state; NY, NJ, and some other states have to pay sales tax on their orders.  New York isn't one of the states that has to pay sales tax on an Amazon order, though.  If you don't order your books at the same time, then it won't add up to $25 and you can't get free shipping, so, yes, you should order them all at the same time^^  I want to get Princess Ai when it comes out; I looked at the previews and the artwork looks nice.  The story seems neat, too.  I was a little iffy about it when I saw that Courtney Love was the co-creator, but I guess I shouldn't judger her creativity just yet; not until after I've read it^^

My favorite non-animated TV show is Friends!  I guess you probably all guessed that already:p  I like the relationships between the characters and the humor.  Everybody Loves Raymond is rather funny, but I like the situations that come up in Friends more^^  Plus, throughout the series, there was the question of R&R; that might bore other people, but that was the best part for me.  I love subtle romance.  In fact, I'm always disappointed whenever I read a novel and there isn't a major couple in it (it doesn't have to be the focus of the story, but I want it to be there somewhere).

My other favorite non-animated TV show is Andromeda!  Although that might not be true for long; I'll see what the next season brings.  In the season finale, everyone like...diedO_o  Either they're going to turn back time and the crew will never have experienced this, only Dylan since he was the one that went...wherever it is he went...or they're going to completely change the cast.  If it's the former, I'm all for it (I just hope Rhade would still be in it).  If it's the latter...I'm outta there>_>  No more purple Trance was one thing; no more Trance at all is another>_>

I don't like Superman as much as the others, but I do like him.  I wasn't actually planning on getting a box set of the cartoon from those few years ago, but I thought about it some more and I will if they make one cuz if I'm getting the Batman DVD's, I might as well have that, too^^  They go together continuity-wise.  Plus, there was that one Superman ep where Bruce went missing and Clark posed as Batman; his interaction with Tim is priceless^__^  Actually...that's the main reason I would want the Superman eps^_____^

Batman Beyond is my favorite of the superhero shows, though.  Terry is so cool!  *fangirl squeal*  Seriously, I think it's because other than anime, it was the first time I had seen a a teenager with superhero problems.  It was fun to watch Terry deal with trying to hide his identity; Bruce never had to deal with that, though.  A millionaire who has already graduated and lives in a secluded mansion doesn't really need to struggle to hide anything.  This is also why I like Static Shock (the season premiere with the Batman Beyond crossover had nothing to do with it *wink wink*).

I was obsessed with Squall from FF8 for a little while^^  His hair is so shiny!  And his butt...Ahem, anyway...He's the only game character I think I've ever had the warm fuzzies for, but Felix from Golden Sun is cool, too^^  I wasn't exactly obsessed with him, but I his little sprite was so cute!  I mean, hot cute, not just adorable cute.

I just looked at the screen shots for Mario Golf:  Advance Tour and I am ordering that from Circuit City right now; free shipping, five dollars off, and a free SP case!  Okay, don't need the case, but free shipping and five dollars off is irresistible!  Role-playing golf, woohoo!  Seriously, that's what it says on the box.  Well, not, "Woohoo."

Oooh, Kitty came out of hiding^^  I'm not sure where I would want to go...I've never been to Denny's before; what's that like?  I've never been to Friday's before either, but I always pass by it, so at least I've seen it.

Thanks Aya... I owe you one. I'll order the comic books for you, since I would like to start shopping at bn.com. Amazon is pretty much the same price...oh well. I'm now toggling whether or not I should order my books as the same time. It's going to be a lot of money. I have my eyes set on these books... Petshop of Horror Vol 7, Fruits Basket Vol 3 and Women of the Pleasure Quarters: The Secret History of the Geisha

For the Simpsons, there's 15 seasons up to date and I realize that I would be spending a lot of money. But my time spending for the collection wouldn't be as fast pace. I'll be waiting for sales. Or buying it used.

I've been once again...done a little assistance with helping the Neko Forum with sending out anime...despite the fact that my list of anime is not as extensive as Mina's. Been posting there more and made a friend.

I think that the only superhero show out there that I liked was X-men and a bit of Batman Beyond before I stopped watching it.

These days...however, I've been watching reruns of Seinfeld and I like it. What favorite sitcoms or TV shows does minna like? Mine would have to be Ally McBeal and Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I'm glad that there's more entries here ^.^

HK is ok... I prefer to go outside than stay at home... Outside is more lively. Also, it's more boring than staying home in NY..

Miz, I'll try and look for the One Piece puzzle ^.^ I know some places that may have those kind of stores. Also, the two graphic novels. Almost forgot which ones a while ago ^.^"

My Mareeps and Houdours are doing fine ^.^ Except I didn't get a chance to train them yet. But I did won lotteries (usually PP-ups) because of them ^___^ There's so much to do in Pokemon Sapphire/Ruby. I'm stuck with that game for now since I finished Golden Sun: The Lost Age (I only bought two games with me)... I'm still waiting for the new Yugioh game ^___^

I don't know how many episodes in The Simpsons but I know it's very long... People must spent a lot of money on those DVDs.

Well, I'm not a huge fan of superheroes. I just watch them whenever I have the chance. I do like Batman and X-men out of the rest. Spiderman's the second. I don't like Superman that much, probably the last to second or third favorite...

I don't think I've been obsess with a game character before... Not the ones I can think on top of my head right now. I just like them and then it fades away... Don't know why though..

Too bad I can't hang out with you guys all together for now. I feel left out.. T.T

I was surprised by the long entries posted. But they're more enjoyable ^.^

Hey... we have more volume now on isol then we did several months...!

Slimy...at least I try to finish video games...or maybe not.... real life has it always in taking up time and I have a short attention span... Have you gotten Final Fantasy X-2 yet and beat it...? I need help...not with blitzball, but with Sphere Break. I really want to get the Lady Luck Dress Sphere. Also got that Simpson's taxi game.

Not home yet... try July 2 or something.

Hmmm... where would minna want to go? I spoke about this with you on the phone. Would everyone want to go to lunch somewhere in the city...and no not Chinatown. I'm taking uptown, at places like Appleby's or something. Now mind you I don't like Appleby's, but I'm taking it as an example and that's one of the many franchise places here. Friendly and Denny's are pretty much the only other one. There's the regular fast food places... with all of them except Taco Bell and White Castle.

Well I'm not watching anime now..because I don't have my computer...but I'm changing that fact over the summer.. last anime I was watching and still is watching would be One Pieceand Naruto

The first season of the Simpsons DVD had I think about 12 episodes...

I would love to play Sims on GBA. I already have the game on my computer up to Makin Magic. The game is kinda hard, but fun... I think that I'm going to get Super Mario Brothers 3 tho on GBA first. Altho I'm having a spree with buying soundtracks. Since I've been up here... been getting some sci-fic movie soundtracks.

I need to finish Pokemon Ruby one of these days...

To tell you the truth...not really one for Superheros.. it seems that I only like Superheros sparingly at the most. I'm very hung over by Rogue and Wolverine that's for sure... Maybe Batman occasionally. I hate Superman things. Somehow seeing the man in red tights repulsed me.

Also Sam lent me this one movie: Batman-Mystery of the Batwomen and I love the music of that movie... I guess I get more attracted to the music of stuff.

Mina... I'm sure you hear that "Jewel" version of the Wolverine's Theme right? That sounds real good. Hmmm... we both seem to have pretty long entries... haha... altho yours is longer.

Anyone ever been obsessed by a game character? I had a thing for side characters, not the main character per se. I was pretty much in love with Quistis and Seifer from Final Fantasy VIII, Lulu and Auron from Final Fantasy X, and Paige from Final Fantasy X-2
--this blog was glomped by miz on Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at 10:28 a.m.

Well, the date's written all right, so the "entries from" part is okay.

How many eps are in one season of The Simpsons?  I just recently learned episode numbers vary by season (thanks to a mailing list where someone asked what constitutes a season); before, I thought they were the same every season, which is true for some shows, but not all.  The first season of Jem had less than ten eps and the first season of Batman:  The Animated Series had a lot; anyone here ever watch that when they were younger?  My friend lent me the DVD's, so I've been watching it recently^^

I don't have a game console, but I love playing all five games in the Quest for Glory series on my computer.  I guess that's the first RPG I've ever played.  Choose from three roles:  Hero, Wizard, or Thief!  Wizard is my favorite^^  Actually, Paladin is, but you can't start with that.

On my Game Boy, I'm playing Breath of Fire; I got it a while ago, but I didn't finish it cuz other new games kept coming out that I wanted to play more^^  I bought Robopon2:  Ring Version  recently (only $9.99^^), but I think I'll finish BoF first.  Other than RPG's, I like simulation games cuz they're like RPG's, except minus the battling (the conversing and the exploring is the fun part for me anyway; the battling is the minus, although I did start to miss it after a while of simulation games).  Sims Bustin' Out is fun, but short and the characters aren't cute>_<  Doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to the sequel, however!  Harvest Moon is fun and long, and cute, though^^  They should make a...um...City Moon!  Or something...

I guess Pokémon Sapphire is the longest I've ever played, too, but probably not as long as Aya^^  You can never actually finish Pokémon, but I guess defeating the Elite Four counts, but a true finish would be completing the Pokédex, which is impossible unless they get some better promotional giveaways over at the Pokémon Center here or use cheat devices.

Oh, I get obsessed with a lot of things^^  Usually, my obsessions are confined to one character rather than a whole series, such as Aoshi or Seto, though^^  My current obsession is Batman, although not the character himself (although I really like Terry/new Batman, whatever you want to call him); I'm obsessed with the cartoon^___^  As in, the whole cartoon universe of Batman created on Fox and WB.  I want to try the comics, to get Tim Drake's real story, but...American comics are so ugly>_<

Hey, how do you guys feel about superheroes?  I guess I've always liked them even if I didn't realize it until my Batman obsession.  I liked that cheesy Batman series from the seventies(?), all three Superman movies, the one Batman movie I actually saw, the X-Men movies, and the Spiderman movie.  And I loved the X-Men cartoon from Fox!  The drama, the action, the angst!  Oh, and I can't forget the Superman cartoon from those few years ago!  Didn't love it as much as the X-Men cartoon, but still pretty good; they really need a box set of both those cartoons.

Cool, pokemon games! How are those Mareeps and Houndowers doing? LOL. I don't think Miz is the type of person who likes to finish up video games. Hey, if you're back at home by now you better organize a get together. We all miss you, esp our Neko-chan! She always gets energetic when I mention you. LOLz. Oh right, I'd also like an anime update from the person who catalysized my love for anime. Unless, of course you've been watching less than I have. ^_^ Just kiddin'. Goodnighty minna!

Aya give me the titles and I'll reinburst you. How's Hong Kong? Well to be obsessed is something to even think about. By the way if you see any One Piece puzzle with the frame can you get it for me...? I'll pay you for it. Can you make sure it's a group picture. I love group pictures and rather piece that instead of just particular characters. If you help me with that I'll be in your debt for a long time. ^_~

Yup regarding the Simpsons DVD's, I was so surprised and happy... I really like the Simpsons...but it'll take a long time before I ever get up to the latest season of DVD's. They have I think up to 15 seasons already.

For me... I've never finished a Pokemon game...which kinda suck...but then again. Never had the patience. Mina must have gave up on me, regarding about that.
--this blog was glomped by miz on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at 09:02 a.m.

Nope, you didn't give them back.

So far, Pokemon Sapphire is the longest, as I'm trying to strengthen up my team for the Pokemon Tower. I plant a lot of berries and get some from people each day. I wanted to get all 4 stars in the trainers card ^.^ I already got 2 from the Elite Four and winning all the contests.

Wow...that's a good price for The Simpsons DVDs ^.^

One Piece is good but not enough for me to obsess about it. Hmm... I'm been obsess with Rurouni Kenshin for a very long time ^_____^ And Yugioh... I think that's about it...
--this blog was glomped by Aya on Monday, June 21, 2004 at 10:52 p.m.

Well seem to be posting up several entries today. In any event... I think I'm going into an anime depravation mood. I'm getting over obsessed by not see One Piece that it's kind of sick. I think this obsession is a lot more then Naruto or HunterxHunter. Not a good thing ne? Anyways...what anime has caught your attention and you spent long hours obsessing over it?

Mina, I think you're going to have to ban me from archiving pages... I realized that this is the third time I messed it up. I sent an email about correcting the mishap to help@pitas.com... maybe they'll respond to me.

Aya, that still means that I won't see you. I'll be around for July, but I'm leaving for school on August 19.... >_< YYH cards...hmmm. Did I ever give you back some of the mangas I owed you last time, if I didn't.... I'll get you a gift certificate or something to buy them back... In anyhow... been leaving messages for Raven and Mari...

By the way... what does one person usally play on their game console.

Did I mention that I got the 2nd and 3rd season of The Simpsons on DVD? They were on sale for about $15 at FYE, which is the only CD place in Oneonta and had a $10 rebate for both of them...

I love the whole concept and anime of One Piece. My sister got me the imported theme collection CD for my birthday.

I want to go see Dodgeball soon. I already saw The Stepford Wives and The Terminal. There's nothing interesting to do up here... except for going to the movies... >_< .... cheaper then the city... oh well... talk soon as you guys respond...

I'll talk with some members of isol...as to prod them to start posting... ^ ~ Really miss hanging out with you guys... Mina.... I know you're going to kill me... I'm so sorry... I forgot to delete that lettering from the archive page post...
