THE KENSHIN-GUMI

Mi~na || site || journal

Mi~na obsesses over guys with nice coats that flap in the back^__^ Aoshi is Mi~na's favorite in the whole wide world! Then comes Kaiba, especially in the white thing. Mi~na enjoys playing RPG's on her GBASP with and waits excitedly for the debut of the PSP in America next year so she can play even more RPG's on the go!

Miz || site || xanga || pita

Occasional Anime-fan. At times stressed, depressed or bumed out from reality. Currently trying to succed as a college student.

Aya || pita

The quiet one, but beware of her when she's around Nobuhiro Watsuki, Rurouni Kenshin, Sanosuke Sagara, and Yuji Ueda.

Raven || deadjournal

Hi, I'm Raven and everyone claims I'm crazy, but THEY HAVE NO PROOF!!! I love bishounens and that is all I want to say cause this bio is getting too long.

Neko-chan
site || site || xanga

lulululu... *spins* weee~.... lalalala.. >.> who ate my cake??? <.<;.. o i did... *disappears*

sLiMy || xanga

The stealthy one. I live by night, and hide by day. I welcome the creatures of the dark. Need I say more? Did you say yes? How about I fantasize about Final Fantasy. I'm also into YuGiOh Card Games. I enjoy too many anime to name them all. They are just so good...saavory!

Cadet

Miz taking the liberty of writing about Cadet, since he doesn't know anything about editing this portion of the page yet. So don't think bad of Miz if anyone doesn't like what Miz wrote. Cadet with his evil tomato picture wants to act as if he's evil, but inside he's just a big empty-word guy. Cadet thinks the best of the Blade of the Immortal manga!

Christina || journal

Here's an 18-year old suffering from a premature mid-life crisis if that is even possible (ha HA). It took me about a little a year to join and now here I am ^_^ Don't procrastinate folks. This is my first group blog. I hope to have fun and share my insanity while I'm at it. I love Fruits Basket and Yuki and elves with blonde hair (~_~).

Donna || xanga

Waaiii, a Hungry Plue! Eat more, eat more! Mi~na doesn't want Donna to shrivel up^__^

I've never heard the theme^^;;  I've heard about it, though.  It was only played in Japanese a few times, wasn't it?  I don't know if the "regular" theme is sung by the same people.

Errm...you've written it that way once before, but I thought it was a typo.  You've written it again.  It's not Mystery of the Bat Women, it's Mystery of the Batwoman, one word, singular.  There is only one Batwoman and it's one word just like Batman is one word.

Well I don't watch Teen Titans... mostly a Fairly Odd Parents fan though.. if they release a DVD like they did with Sponge Bob's first season... I'll be very happy.

I did see the music video though..and it was pretty good... but how's the reception of American audience to a cartoon's theme that is sang by a J-Pop group?

Hmmm... I happen to like the music of this cartoon a lot more. The Iceberg Lounge Singer in Batman: Mystery of Bat Women, sings this really neat Latin Jazz flavor song... really nice. I can't find the audio clip, but found some scene clips from the movie.

Also have you heard... there's trouble in HK... how is it like Aya? Hope it's okay for you...

I would love to get The Sims: Bustin Out... Sims2 is not out yet, but I read reviews on Bustin Out and I really like it. It's easier to make friends in this game... I like that.. I can visit people...instead of the other way around.

Do any of you guys watch Teen Titans?  I don't get up early enough of Saturdays to see it and I've never felt particularly compelled to record it, so I've never seen it.  The first volume comes out at the end of September, though, so I plan to get it and try it out^___^  It's got a Puffy AmiYumi music video!  By the way, if any of you decide to visit the Puffy AmiYumi site, don't sit to close to the screen while it's loading.  We wouldn't want another Pokémon catastrophe:p

I was reading your latest entry and your Xanga...and...I hope that you do realize that journal is spelled "journal" and not "journel" and those were all just careless typos.  Or is some kind of new NetSpeak that I'm not familiar with?^^;;  Heey, "journal" has two syllables; what a coincidence:p

I can't believe I forgot to add sLiMy's Xanga>_<

Ooh, I think Sims2 sounds exciting!  I have the one for GBA; you live in the suburbs.  Another one for GBA (and GC and probably PS2) is coming out in the fall that takes place in the city^^  Harvest Moon for Girls is also coming out in the fall!  Simulation games run amok!  Hey, are there any other simulation games besides the Sims series and Harvest Moon series?  Anyone else here play these types of games?

Oooh, that's one of my fav pics of RuroKen ^_____^ *stare*

Well I made some minor adjustments.. and no I didn't do it by hand... so it would not mess up the layout..rather.. I went to Copy and Paste to Front Page. Added Slimy's xanga link.. not sure whether or not, should I add Raven's Live Journel?

I looked over and it was the strangest thing, all of us have journels and Cadet's the only one that doesn't. I asked him before why he didn't get one and he just didn't... So here I am posting like mad to my xanga and I think I'm getting off the subject here....but was there any point in this paragraph? @_@

Oh wow.. new layout... compliments galore for Mina... good one.. I'm not a big fan of RK... but this layout looks nice.. I like it.

I'm bored.. really and truly bored now. Should be working on my presentation... should be studying for my test... but just bored.

Lol Poor Breath of Fire, beaten by Camelot :p

Yea, that's an offended comment. That guy just asked a simple question and she wanted to throw a temper. In general, it depends on the person's opinions.

Speaking of Petshop of Horrors, I read that they're making another manga series of it. The first chapter came out already. It's the same basic story except it takes place in Tokyo. Leon is not there so far. Whether he'll be in it or not is unknown.

I'm wanting to get The Sims now on PS2... I have it on my computer... and it's okay. I saw the epside of The Simpsons yesterday...had Marge taking an AA course...it was not that good of an episode tho... haven't finished watching Noir either...

Hey Cadet.. well I'm stressed here..

Hmmm.. I have KareKano and Petshop of Horrors. Anticipating the end of the series of PoH... gosh... only four more books!

Ugh...she's trashing reading... I think that a downright offending comment. What makes reading books boring? You can learn things from reading... ignorant &(&^*(....

I don't know whether I should feel offended or...I don't know...nope, offended is the only option to feel.  The guy just asked her if she liked to read, geezO_o  All right, so she's jealous that reading seems to get more publicity than other hobbies.  Maybe she should go and advertise those other hobbies instead of trashing reading.

Books Make You a Boring Person
By CRISTINA NEHRING, Published: June 27, 2004

I'm a reader!'' announced the yellow button. ''How about you?'' I looked at its bearer, a strapping young guy stalking my town's Festival of Books. ''I'll bet you're a reader!'' he volunteered, as though we were two geniuses well met. ''No,'' I replied. ''Absolutely not,'' I wanted to yell, and fling my Barnes & Noble bag at his feet. Instead, I mumbled something apologetic and melted into the crowd.

There's a new piety in the air: the self-congratulation of book lovers. Long considered immune to criticism by virtue of being outnumbered by channel surfers, Internet addicts, video maniacs and other armchair introverts, bookworms have developed a semi-mystical complacency about the moral and mental benefits of reading. ''Books Make You a Better Person,'' a banner outside a Los Angeles school proclaims. Books keep kids off drugs. They keep gang members out of prison. They keep terrorists, for all we know, at the gates. This is what we hear at the 200-odd book festivals that have proliferated across America from San Francisco to New York. This, indeed, is what we hear during the N.B.A. playoffs! City dwellers vote and choose a single book for everyone to read at the same time. ''Read a book, save a life,'' one radio ad intones; and even in the absence of charitable contributions, this is very nearly what we feel we are doing. To be a reader these days is to be a sterling member of society, a thoughtful and sensitive human being, a winner.

That really is the way the fruit looks, though; that's ugli in its glory, not dried up or anything^^

Woohoo, my golf RPG arrived today^___^  I only played the first few minutes, though (to make sure it worked).  I'm afraid if I start a new game, I'll never finish Breath of Fire.  I bought that game about two years ago and never finished it!  Golden Sun came out and I started playing that instead, and then there was Lunar Legend, and then there was the second part of Golden Sun...  It's all Camelot's fault!

I went to the library at Grand Army Plaza today; they actually have a good selection of graphic novels.  I borrowed a couple of titles I never would have bought for myself (Gundam Seed, Tuxedo Gin)^^  I also borrowed Please Save My Earth even though I was planning to (and still am planning to) getting it for myself.  Might as well since it's there already.  I would have borrowed KareKano and Petshop of Horrors, but I didn't see the first of either of those and I like to go in order.  Oh well, I'm gonna get those for myself someday anyway^^

Woohoo, another person came out ^__^ I was surprised isol is archieved so fast. I guess it's because of the long entries.

Hmm...maybe I should get that Mario Golf. I love Golden Sun ^___^ I remember playing golf in the early version of windows. It was fun for a while.

I didn't know The Simpsons count so I didn't mention it. I didn't watch any new episodes lately but I still like it.

I still have yet to watch Noir... Still want to watch it though.

Yea, I think that fruit is more dried up than being ugly.

I kinda want to read the Gunslinger Girls manga. Someday......

Hi all, glad to see that the postings are back up, how is everybody doing?
--this blog was glomped by Cadet on Friday, June 25, 2004 at 10:32 a.m.

Oh.... well the pictures look really good. You're going to have to show me when we go out this summmer. I saw Cheers... it's funny. Don't know how to compare to Frasier because I only watched one episode. Would that be enough for comparision? That's an interesting plot from Madlax, is the art as good? Because I hope it wouldn't turn out to be like Gunslinger Girls... as for that fruit...it's ugly...but it looks more like a drying out fruit to me.

I was serious when I said it was role-playing golf; says so in big letters right on the box.  Pretty RPG, must have!  I'll play almost any RPG as long as it looks good and isn't the tactical type that involves moving eight or so people individually around the screen.  It's done by the same company that did Golden Sun^___^  I was going to get it after I got Reshef of Destruction, but since it's on sale, I'll get it now^^  Besides, I looked at some screen shots and the town parts are really nice!  Well, the ones with the golfing stuff look good, too, I suppose.  Actually, I used to like playing Fuji Golf on Windows (pre95; what was it...Windows 3.14 or something).  This was before I discovered video games can actually contain stories.  Like, wow.

I guess The Simpsons count...it's a comedy...and it's situational...Oooh, I like Frasier, too^^  I liked it a lot more than Cheers.  Did you ever see that?

My favorite current anime (as in, still actively watching and haven't finished yet) is Madlax!  I've only seen one episode so far, but it was so good and had the best music!  It is just like Noir.  Two girls who have unmatched skills with weapons?  And music by Yuki Kajiura?  Déjà vu.

Heey, has anyone tried the ugli fruit?  It's a newly discovered fruit from Jamaica or something.  It's really ugly^__^
