Mina obsesses over guys with nice coats that flap in the back^__^  Aoshi is Mina's favorite in the whole wide world!  Then comes Kaiba, especially in the white thing.  Mina also loves playing Pokémon and other RPG's and fervently hopes for many SNES ports for GBA!

The stealthy one.  I live by night, and hide by day.  I welcome the creatures of the dark.  Need I say more?  Did you say yes?  How about I fantasize about Final Fantasy.  I'm also into YuGiOh Card Games.  I enjoy too many anime to name them all.  They are just so good...saavory!

Miz taking the liberty of writing about Cadet, since he doesn't know anything about editing this portion of the page yet.  So don't think bad of Miz if anyone doesn't like what Miz wrote.  Cadet with his evil tomato picture wants to act as if he's evil, but inside he's just a big empty-word guy.  Cadet thinks the best of the Blade of the Immortal manga!

Here's an 18-year old suffering from a premature mid-life crisis if that is even possible (ha HA). It took me about a little a year to join and now here I am ^_^ Don't procrastinate folks. This is my first group blog. I hope to have fun and share my insanity while I'm at it. I love Fruits Basket and Yuki and elves with blonde hair (~_~).

Well...it turns out that the whole plan to see Nemo went bust. Oh well...want to reschedule people who could be around to see it? I would like to see it.

But on the other hand, got news from gamespot.com that Final Fantasy X-2 is coming out in American on Nov 4. However right now I'm obssesed with the fighting genre of games now... But also take a look.... here....I think that I really want this game!

T3 is nice.... but that reminds me...Terminator 3....get it... T3 and T3.... hehe.... anyone want to see it...? I want to go see it as well...

Thanks for the compliment Cadet. But for the "being in my shoes" part, I wouldn't exactly suggest it. Lolz. Just be thankful that you even have internet man. I'm sure you can get a T3 connect sometime during your lifespan. If not, then during your next lifespan. Enjoy the rest of the day.

Hi, all. Talking about finding nemo, that looks and sounds like a good movie, probably going to check it out. BTW i saw HULK today, must say the movies was abit not what i expected it to be, but not worse, probably the worst of the marvel movies that came out but still very good movie, the part when his father turned in to lightning and was flying was amazingly done, anyway i sugest all of you should go and watch it, at least just for that part haha, which is at very end :/. Anyway, geting T3 is ahem!!! really nice, just too bad that were i live there is nothing more then aol and few other services which are all out dial up and no cable dsl or other of speed connection, beside satelite or so i heard, which should and probably does cost ALOT of money, so damn i wana be in your place heh, even for few days!! anyway GL all.

Haha! I'm getting unlimited T3 internet connection in my dorm. Thatz super cool. Now, letz see. Anyone wants to download something really big that would otherwise take forever just send me the link.

Other news: I'm getting more NMR training! Allrighty, future MaD scientist here I come. Hey! They hooked me up on another project with viscometers. These people are getting too dependent on me. Maybe I should take off for several days and see what happens! Lolz. And one more thing, you're all invited to my engagement party - just JOKING! I hope that scared someone. Hahaha. ^_^

Well that guy was getting it happening. I haven't seen him in three years. Of course I'm not going to be so easy on him. I was just joking around tho. But then again....hehe.... this talk about Eastern thinking and Western thinking, just had me thinking of the difficulties of what a person would have growing in two cultures and the advantages...

Btw....Mina...don't know about meeting tomorrow. Why don't we meet on Sat instead. I've talk about this with Aya... want to go see Finding Nemo on Sat....anyone else in the blog is free to go....Moviefone.com says the movie starts on 11:20 at Kingsplaza....so meet at Kingsplaza at 11:00.

he he he. I'm typing this entry from the Baruch library. I'm not even sure if this is allowed. I am in New York and will be here till August 23 or so. Mina, are you an economics major? I was thinking about it. What first came to mind was that it's not the most interesting thing, however. Imacs are so nice.

Hey Mina, this is where the anime, manga, and any other factors of Japanese style come into play. Eastern cultures are built on the idea of circles: reincarnation, tai-chi, spiritual passages, just to name a few. In western cultures, the focus is different from the other half of the world. In America, we tend to think of straight paths, marching, getting from point A to point B without going in circles. We just don't like to think about traveling in circles. Thatz why motives here still stress on "move forward and progress" and "get on with your life". Loosely speaking, you can even compare the symbols that we carry with us; notably jewelery. Over here we have crosses and over there they have circular jades and wrist beads. For you, I think you're more in tuned with Eastern styles and could relate to them with ease.

Whatz with that guy? He's a one person rukus crew as well? Just joking.

arr...2D NMR Spectroscopy! Very complicated. So many parameters. Its like flying an airplane. So many buttons to control and a screw up can potentially end your trip or experiment. And plus the fact that itz a huge magnet, it can be lethal. Just crank up the magnetic power and either all the metals in the facility comes flying to the NMR or it'll explode and take off like a rocket. Oh yeah, here's a lil trivia for everyone. Whatz the major component in blood or hemoglobin? Iron right! Wait isn't iron magnetic?! So if thatz the case isn't the NMR able to attract all the blood in your system or alter its flow? Noooo...I don't want to be stuck to a magnetic for the rest of my life.

Side Story: Funny thing happened to my friend the other day. He worked on the NMR for a few hours in the morning and later in the day we went to several places in the city. As he entered the stores with the burgular detection devices at the entrance, all of a sudden he triggered a loud beep. The security guy let him in and when we were about to leave the store, it rung again! So this time security gets annoyed and checks his bags. It still beeps so he took of his backpack and walked through with just his clothes. It beeped again! It took about 5 minutes on security's part and sheer entertainment on mine before those guys called it quits. That day, all the stores with detectors beeped upon his entrance. It was killing me. Too bad he wasn't able to screw up the MTA subway tolls.

You think she's become more mellow?  Then you should have seen her with this guy on Saturday^___^

Cadet's so cool!  Wahahahaha, get it?  Hahahahaha!!!  *laughs insanely at own lame joke*

I had to say circles cuz "travel in different circles" is a well-known phrase, but "travel in parallel, straight lines" isn't.  I think that "travel in circles" is a relevant way to say something like that, though, cuz that means the everyday things that we do do, not the things we're aiming for in life, which do repeat everyday cuz they're daily.  I travel in a different circle than...let's say...Aoshi^^  I go to class, learn some business, come home, read, and play video games.  He sits in a temple, meditates, fights bad people, drinks tea, etc.

Hey! I'm still good for hanging out. Just only on Saturday early evenings and anytime sunday for now. Lolz. You make me sound like I abandoned you lil kids. ^_^ funny thought.

Interesting that Mina says "we're traveling in different circles." I tend to think ppl traveling in different linear paths till they reach an end to that path. The circle viewpoint makes me think that we are reborn over and over again after death - and each life follows a similar course of events as the previous lifetime. Overall, I like to think that ppl are following a linear life path on a circular dimension. I don't like to be stuck with the idea that there are no variables between lives. Btw, I do believe in reincarnation.

Another thought: Is it just me or is Miz becoming more feminine? She's more relaxed and less over-reacted. Anyways its a good change since I don't find yelling at almost every single mishapp or when being too excited is exactly pleasant.

Waagghh, sLiMy left us; how could you?T_T  Waaggghhh, he left Aya and me alone for with her for the summer!  Heeey, Christine, are you around?  I mean, physically around us^^  You must be if you have physics at Baruch.  What's your schedule?  I have macroeco from 10:45 to 12:50 on the twelfth floor of the VC building.

While still on the subject of school, I didn't know professors had "big names" at all, except perhaps within their own school.  We must travel in different circles, sLiMy^^

Back home in NYC. Hmmm....regarding earlier questions...I happen to only like reading real books. Fanfiction...I love to read on the net. Hardcovers are okay to read at home, but carrying them around is not at all what I like to do... I prefer reading paperbacks, as well as purchasing paperbacks....cheaper and more spacekeeping...

That's a neat thing that Slimy is doing now in the summer....hehe.... the big giant magnet and hmmm...metallic hairspray....kinda corky....but then again...that's me and my idiocracy space of time.

I'm not sure if I know any or get any of the Harverd or Cornell jokes...being flying around the blog. However it reminds me of the corny jokes my professors use to say last semester.

Hey Christine...I saw that book in the bookstore as well...actually I saw it in Boarders at Newark. I didn't realize it was a fanfiction. Just that....I though...this was a book Mina was bound to like...since she loved P&P during High school. I didn't think it was a fanfiction. Altho I remember I did buy a Sailor Moon fanfiction -turned- real book. That title I remember was On a Moonswept Moor by Lady Harris. Ooooh...hoow was the Tale of Genji like? I would have loved to read that book...
