they're long goneT_T Mina also doubles as Raven's pet

Miz taking the liberty of writing about Cadet, since he doesn't know anything about editing this portion of the page yet. So don't think bad of Miz if anyone doesn't like what Miz wrote. Cadet with his evil tomato picture wants to act as if he's evil, but inside he's just a big empty-word guy. Cadet thinks the best of the Blade of the Immortal manga! |

Awww... it's okay Cadet....It's an Asian thing so don't worry....oh hey... a little somethin for minna. Something early so... here.

It's my first time using a laptop (notebook) so I betcha that Mina won't really be impress just something interesting for me to say tho...

Oh well, i cant really add anything to Chinese New Years, because i am not chiense. But the bread thing sounds nice.

Red envolopes and fun might have happened to you Slimy...and the others in NYC, but I spent my Chinese New Year's pretty much alone. My roomate gone back to the city, but it was a peaceful day of doing absolutly nothing worthwhile. It snowed again that day and today I recieved my first red envolope from my roomate's mom...wasn't that nice of her... ^ ~

Sounds like everyone had a good time! Chinese New Year was fun. There was a lot of eating, red envelopes, greetings, and laughs. Lol. Itz going to be back to a rigorous school week starting manyana. Till next time everyone, have fun!

This is a response to Slimy for him asking this on on my xanga
"What's with the 'Loner-type personality'? For your case, itz sounds like ur saying 'What is wrong with guys?'"
You've got to be up here to even understand. It's so much different when you're away from home and you don't have much friends. It's not a matter of wanting to have a loner-type personality, but it's easier that way.
It's been a hard trial for me to adjust to the fact that this isn't a comfort zone area for me and that many people in this school....want to waste their time partying....I get annoyed by that fact...but because of talking with my mentor...I'm accepting the fact that one...that's their problem.... two...ease up the job competition if they fail where others would suceed.
Did you ever watch a movie called School Ties with Brendon Fraser in it...it's a very good movie for what I fear tho. It's all got to do with connections and luck concernd with succeding.
I'm a bit better now in feeling maybe there might be hope for me socially, but got to work on academics... it's been even more of a trial scheduling time to study. So I'm getting quite stressed about that... >_<

It's very shocking about these two news. I'm sure everyone knows about the shuttle. My relatives were talking about it when I was at their house.
Oh yeah, I forgot to put down my favorite engrish screenshot. It's when the group had to leave their weapons in order to enter the castle. Every weapon was handed except Gandalf's staff. The subtitle said, "Your stick" ^.^
I found another interesting piece of LotR from a mailing list: how to make a lembas bread ^.^ (For those who didn't know, it's made by the elves. It said that it won't get spoiled. I remember in the movie, Legolas said something like one bite will make you full.) I wonder if it really just like the one from the story... Anyone want to try it? ^.^
by Jincey
Ingredients
6 TBSP butter or margarine, slightly softened
2 cups self-rising flour
1 TBSP granulated sugar
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 cup milk
4 TBSP heavy cream
Mallorn leaves
With a pastry blender of fork, cut margarine into the flour in a mixing bowl until the mixture resembles cornmeal. Do this rapidly so the butter does not melt. Add the sugar and if desired, 1/2 cup of raisins. In a small bowl, beat the egg and milk together until mixed. Reserve 1 TBSP of this mixture to brush the tops of the lembas. Add the cream and egg mixture to the flour and mix just until combined into a stiff, soft dough. Knead three or four times on a lightly floured surface. Roll dough to a 3/4" thickness and cut
with an oval or leaf shaped cookie cutter. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet, leaving 1" of space between lembas. Brush the tops of the lembas with the reserved egg-milk mixture. Bake for 12 -13 minutes in a preheated 400 degree oven.
For safe keeping, wrap each lemba individually in a fresh, clean mallorn leaf. If these leaves are unavailable in your area, store the lembas in a tightly closed container. Makes about 1 1/2 dozen lembas.

Happy Lunar New Year! For my new year's resolution, I'm going to draw!
Errr...I'm going to draw well! For an amateur. I'm going to work
hard at it during microeco, since my mind wanders so much anyway. I wonder
how many years it will be before I'm able to
draw
like
my
friend (she drew this
stuff a while ago, so I guess she's a lot better now). When I can finally
draw a face that's not crooked or empty-looking, I'll get myself an inking pen
and a sketchbook! I'm determined cuz I wanna draw myself with fluffy green
hair...standing next to a guy with a long, white vest...and maybe his little
brother, too...
We didn't go to a restaurant. Well, we did, but we didn't eat there; we
just bought food from there^^ We ate the food at my aunt's apartment.
I love fried shrimp balls! And shrimp dumplings! And leek buns!
And those long, white things with meat and shrimp (not together) in them!
Afterwards, all the "men" were watching a workout vid or something and all the
"women" were doing an arts and craft thing with soap and ribbons. By the
way, I think I'm absolutely sick of the smell of Dove soap>_>
Yeeeees, those are the actual subtitles; it's a bootleg done in Engrish.
My favorite when Aragorn introduced himself as, "Aragorn, son of Alfred."^___^
I didn't click on those links Cadet gave cuz I recognized the first one and the
second one probably wouldn't have been much better^^;;
Oh yeah, how many people know that the Japanese editor of Shonen Jump died
suddenly, most likely of a stroke, at a screening of the One Piece movie?
Oh, and who doesn't know about the shuttle?
--this blog was glomped by Mina on Sunday, February 2, 2003 at 01:09 a.m.
Awww...lucky... I so want to eat in a Chinese restaurant. Hmm...are those LoTR pictures parody's of the movie or is it the actual subtitles? Ahhh well..but hey...I got this board in the mail the other day. From e-bay and sent from Singapore...pic
Zhu dai gai yung nein hao wan! Shou do dit lai shi. Cadet don't pay no mind to this. Chinese greetings...;-b

Happy Chinese New Year ^.^ I will be going to Chinatown to eat lunch. Then I'll go to my relative's house for the rest of the day.
Hi, Cadet! Welcome to the group ^.^
I didn't go to these links yet but I found this site in one of my mailing lists. It shows some screenshots of LotR: Two Towers on a bootlegged DVD. It has captions that are really bad. I find it kinda funny ^.^'

Awwww...I'm so hurt... damn it Cadet....it was me who filled in your profile. Sheesh....who the heck would know that you once praised Blade of the Immortal Read the lines....I said that you think the best. Great and best are different.I did say that I was co-moderator...but ahh well...
Hmmm.....Slimy was right...still not up to par...do or suggest something that would acuatally go Ka-zing with the group.
By the way what is everyone doing for Chinese New Year this year? Happy New Year to those that apply!
Me I'm staying up here...poor me...but I'm going to be getting a break soon so...hehe...
--this blog was glomped by miz on Friday, January 31, 2003 at 01:05 p.m.
Well those links are not ment for everybody. Read your info. Slimy, you sound just like batman, just not as strong :). Oh and i do thank who ever filled in my profile for me, i belive its Mina? I just want to comment on it alittle. I posted that tomato picture because i didnt really have anything better to put there, it was a choice between a frog, a ...woman like guy and a cute girl. Evil tomato seemed like the best choice, though i had hard time picking between the last two. Blade of the Immortal is, in my opinion one of the best manga, but not the greatest.

You know the time when you first meet a person, itz always important to give them a good impression. Now we know what type of person you are Cadet-san. Good try, but not good enough. After seeing these things for a few million times, one would get immune to them. Lol. I wonder if the links scared Neko-san...I know Miz-san is definately immune to them like me. Btw, I welcome the creatures of the night (see profile under slimy). ^_^
--this blog was glomped by sLiMy on Thursday, January 30, 2003 at 08:11 p.m.

Ah, well miz told alot about me... i think even more then enough, so no need to make my introduction too long. Just call me cadet (btw it was miz who helped me think of the name), and i do have a very bad isp. I am geting aol back,, which amazingly enough worked better then what i have now. Oh, neko if you are really bored ill give you few very interesting links...
link 1
link 2
The most important thing on this is to have the volume up, and sound on!
Tell me what you think about them sometime, ill go for now and post something else more interesting next time.
--this blog was glomped by Cadet on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at 09:37 p.m.
Well...he'll have to say something first. The only problem is that he has a "slow" isp... hence.... 0:->

So that entry was made by Cadet God I'm tired... Cadet is a good friend of mine that definitely went to Murrow. He's the same age as Slimy and I, he also was a member of the anime club. The only thing is that he's in Florida now. (That may be a little clue on his identity right) I felt that he would make isol more interesting if he joined, (fresh blood) so I nominated him. Mina approved it.
Hehe... Slimy you won't be the only male now in this female dominated blog.
I'm teaching Cadet the basics of html and blogging on isol. At times he may have grammatical errors, but don't hold it against him...for practice makes perfect...I think he wants to learn from his mistakes.... so please please make him feel welcome.... plus to the fact...I rushed him into joining this blog...so...hehe >_<
--this blog was glomped by miz on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at 12:06 p.m.
Hi, well i am the new member, sadly i cant say much now since i didnt even read what you are guy talking about, ill catchup eventually and join in. For now i am just going to sleep, SLEEP!! is what i need. good night -_-aa
--this blog was glomped by on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at 12:00 a.m.
Oh hey... minna...for this entry...I'll be introducing this new member of isol.... Cadet.... now Mina this is what I mean.... ! >_<
--this blog was glomped by miz on Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at 10:16 p.m.
Hmmm...this was a great fic I read yesterday. I really like this author's fics. Check it out. I think you'll like it Mina, it's a very long fic.... Wet and Wild....If you read it tell me what you think. Oh and for minna's explaination...and the information is taken from her site.
"(NC-17)(B/S B/R) My first novel length fanfiction. Spike is captured by the Initiative again and Buffy has to join to get him back. This is set DIRECTLY after Something Blue so Hush never happened. It's very long and very involved."
It's my opinion is that you don't really need to know much of that season in BtVS. I think it cover events in Season Four.
--this blog was glomped by miz on Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at 05:10 p.m.
Thanks so much for starting to put the zipped files up. Hmmm...for comments...one could make comments on my lj and xanga thingy's y'kno. Altho I'm not going to think much of it if people don't say anything. I don't need that much feedback unless...it's my website which I do have a guestbook or my epic fanfiction..which I'm slowly trying to work with it. Due to lack to free time....>_<
By the way...Mina...I hope you didn't give that extra copy of Shonen Jump away.... if you're interested in the reason why I would ask this now... look at my xanga...
I've decided keep that thing to be there as a journel for all my complaining. Lj's for quiz results and I'll keep my pita...for reflective thinking, or just personal events and good news. Everyday things.
Matrix is a very good movie. There's so much you can think about when you watch that movie. It makes it a good one.
Hey do you ever want to get started with adding in a new member to isol? I did mention/nominate a candidate...what do you think? Hey....wanna call him Cadet? Sounds fitting.

Heeey, some of us really like
these songs and we want
other people to like them, too, so like them dammit!

Yay, I have a comments section on my
blog (from Enetation)! Not
that I need one...but it's nice just to have^^
There are many ways that the question could be right...four is one of them^^
Twenty-two is another way. The answer could also be zero if the twos ate
each other!
Oooh, I got myself a TV guide! Shiny Kaiba...he doesn't look as great
there as in the show, though^__^ I think they used the picture from the
later scene of him in the second Japanese OP sequence, except they took out the
black lines on his face that he had there so he doesn't look as evil. I
don't think he looks good in that pic with our without the lines...I was gonna
scan it so I could show off some Kaiba goodness, but since it's shiny, it
doesn't scan well. Maybe I'll figure out some new settings for it this
weekend to make it scan perfectly^___^
I do keep meaning to see Matrix, but every time I start to prepare, I
forget^^; I was just thinking about it the other day, too! Why was
that now...oh yeah, someone mentioned something about, "Sometimes there is no
spoon," so I want to know what that's about^^ I mean, I know what
it means cuz of the context in which they used it, but I want to know why
it means that^__^
Waaiii, I'm loving Diana Wynne Jones's Howl's Moving Castle! I
can't wait for the
Studio Ghibli film to come out! I hope they animated Howl really cute;
cute as in, really hot (like, wow, Tasuki is so cool!), not cute as in adorable
(like, that little Draco from Harry Potter is just so adorable!)
Oh, yeah, just in case anyone was actually trying to help me out with this (I
highly doubt it), I got myself that Pegasus CD from the Mighty Kid's Meal,
so...umm...don't bother:p Fairy's Gift is a pretty card^___^
--this blog was glomped by Mina on Monday, January 27, 2003 at 11:20 p.m.
Well, it's not too major a mistake, so I guess it's all right. I've
been dreading the day when I would make a mistake anyway, so if you make one
first, it's a lot easier:p

Hey...Mina...don't be angry if I archive without notifying you. Though that the page was getting too long and archived it. Hmm...I followed the format so I don't think you'll be that pissed off right? Uhhh...I forgot to put a space between the year tho...so...sorries...! >_<
