Wow, I think English is the most free class there is! Your own
interpretations can never be wrong (unless they're like really stupid or
something)...literature is very liberal like that; the teachers just try to show
you what's most likely. If you don't believe, you could argue it with your
own points. Lit logs are only annoying cuz I don't care about the stuff
that we're reading, so it's hard for me to find stuff to write about, but if we
did, I suppose I could have a lot to say. The teachers allow you to say
all sorts of things when it comes to that and they won't make you feel stupid
for it. They will compliment you if you did an exceptional job, though^^
Only essay-writing is rigid cuz there's a certain structure to follow.
In America, I think there's very little stress when it comes to school in
comparison to other countries. I read that people in other countries
actually come to America cuz they couldn't make it in their own schools in their
own countries and they need to come here for a menial job cuz there's lots of
them available in the States. In Japan, students are very competitive,
even getting into high schools, let alone college. There have actually
been suicides cuz of the pressure. Japan even has classes after school,
called cram school or something to help them get the good grades they need for
the entrance exam into high school. France only has one day off of school
a week, I think...
I didn't do anything much today, either. We had a moment of silence in my
morning class and throughout the day, the broadcasted CNN in the school.
Well, the do that every day, but today they turned up the volume.

Eh... I kinda meant about all the world education system... But i guess i was mainly talkin' about the US system...
Today is September 11th.... Rememba those who fought, helped, saved and cried for.... The lost of thousands of ppl...... Neva forget that day... September 11th...
--this blog was glomped by Neko on Wednesday, September 11, 2002 at 06:19 p.m.
Well, at least we get first 12 years of education for free. People from different countries have to pay. I'm not sure about China but Japan has a lot of holidays. Maybe that's why they extend school time. I can't believe it's one year since 9-11. Time is going fast. Did you do anything special? I didn't do anything much. I listened to my Song+Nation CD. I have Ayu's A Song Is Born stuck in my head most of the day.

Ok Miz, I call it a dream to pursue...u can call it anything u want...itz subjective. How are your classes? How's college life away from home?
The United States is a large nation and is considered a superpower. Thatz why our education have higher standards than most countries. We're not a third world country and if you think school is tough here, look at schooling in China and Japan. They have higher standards and generally more class time. Yeouch right. Haha.

Elementary school is for getting in to a good Junior High school... Junior High school is for getting in to a good High school High school is for getting in to a good College... College is for getting in to a good job/work/dream...etc... All this education is realli for what you want in life... isn't it? But the school system don't have to be that strict and all... I mean... like in English class... they ruin your way of seeing things in books, drawings etc. They make you know only one (their)correct way of doing things. They also ruin your enjoyment of reading a book... In many other classes, like Eng., they kinda destory a part of you (the way you do things, the way you wanna see things). I think that this society is pushin' kids way too hard. The only thing they have in mind are power, economics etc. They thought that if kids are being push to work hard, one day the kids will be in a high status and help them in gaining powers and stuff like that. But in reality, some kids are dropping out and some work way too hard(stress).... That's the end of my little speech....(i hab more..^-^)Sorri i wrote too much... i think... okie me go bibi now... ^_______^

Can it...Slimy.... College is not a place for dreams... it's a place of getting the education that is required by this country in order of sucess. It's finding a practical niche to go int... It's giving into the expectations of the people around you and of youself... there's no dream making here....!
Neko..I'm in no mood to placate poeple....but one word of advice..don't waste your time....in High school...HS is the place where you would get the education that you would need in order of getting into college... so try to live with it. You're a Sophmore and it's a good idea to try and go for...getting more education...
Sorry for today's outbburst...but I'm really not in a mood to just placate people today...

Yay, thank u Neko! [stares up starry eyed 0_0]. Already, u gals are tired?! For u who are in hs i understand, but for Linda u gotta keep on going. Plus itz college, make it worth your time and money. And what about any dreams u have, it starts in college.

Yep, I'm still learning Chinese, level four now. I just got the textbook today. The words are hard. It's bigger than the first two level ones, but much thinner. It also has colors. I'm taking the business college now course. I got Mr. Meltzer. Today's the first meeting. Two weird and funny things happened. One is those people were practicing the morning announcements over the speaker. The other is the attentances of the two business class was accidently switched. I could picture the other teacher taking the attentances and checking everyone absent ^.^ Luckily, my teacher didn't take the attentance yet.

Well...of course...I won't ask you to help me lug around a really heavy item...I have RLC to help...since he insists on doing it for me.
Because, when did I gave you that idea...but hey...I don't think I actually asked you for help...unless...I don't have room in my bookbag or sumthin...
If you put it in that sort of way of being pack mules.... I never said anything about that..maybe...you being a goo is more like it...
Well I had early school stress...going into the third week of school, with a vacation coming up and I'm still having stress.....I miss Murrow tho....meebe because I got use to the 10=week cycle instead of the 20-week semester.... >_<
Mina..check this link out...

Hey Hey! How are u gals doing now? Any early school stress? ^_^ Oh Miz, I'm not sure if this is news but guys are not mentally {logically isn't the correct word to use} stronger than girls. Neither the opposite is true. It depends for everyone. It is absolutely possible that girls can out-wit guys. However, it is true that generally guys are stronger than girls but that doesn't mean that it's their "duty" to carry things for them. That depends for each guy if they want to carry it. Sociology and personality plays a big role in determining the threshold of help from a guy. That may include who is it that is asking him, how she asked, etc....u know the encholata!!! Sure if u ask nicely I'll help any of u marvelous [lol..i'm weird] gals to hold ur books and I won't even charge ya! but don't expect me to help you carry a monitor unless there's definately a need to help u out! Yikes Miz, guys are humans not mules! Guys aren't meant to be exhausted like that. From a sociological chemistry standpoint, guys are the ones who provide the basics of warmth, security, protection, and affection. Wow, am I ready for school or what. LOL ^_^ Yours Truly, sLiMy
--this blog was glomped by sLiMy on Sunday, September 8, 2002 at 11:23 p.m.
Oh bother..Slimy...he just put a negative sign. That is the wrong answer, but dontcha get bored? ...Also if guys are logically and physically stronger then girls...then shouldn't they be the pack mule?
--this blog was glomped by miz on Sunday, September 8, 2002 at 02:09 a.m.
Hey u gals can't use me for labor! Well actually u can, but I charge a carrying fee of 2 dollars an hour! Isn't that a great deal? Teachers are weird...i like to make fun of them esp the ones in science cuz i excell in that...like a mind duel - i do that now to my chem professor and he enjoys it which is very cool. So far score its 1 to zip - me leading. It was on converting 212 degrees F to Kelvin. He just wrote -373.15 K and I nailed him there! Itz supposed to be 373.15 K. I guess too much coffee for him wasn't a good idea lolz.

What's going to happen next week? Is there free food? I wanna be
there! It's not about turnstiles, is it?
Well, I continued into the fourth year of French after I took the regents...The
teacher complimented me on my speaking, that I have really good pronunciation
and stuff^^ I was soooo completely out of my mind bored by the end of that
fourth year, though, that I didn't continue into the fifth (but originally I had
planned to cuz I wanted to take the AP exam). I did try Chinese out for a
cycle after that, though^^ Ooh, we're using the same textbook in my school
for Chinese!
Hrrrm...but I have all those Pucca animations already>_< Ooh, Pucca fans
look here!

Well...the fridge is okay....but I'm thinking of buying my own next year!
Wow...... that's nice... you guys got teachers that I had and liked when I was in Murrow....
Neko, concerning your teachers.... Ms. Russo....she's really nice, just play your part in her class and it'll go well for you... Mr. Ross. The only problem I had was his homework. He's a good teacher, but don't fall asleep in his class or else...otherwise he loves to joke around... Mr. Rosado is a nice man. I had him as a art teacher and it was a nice experience. The art class, I had him for, was Art Studio tho... ;b.... Awww you got Ms. Marinelli for health...! She is a good teacher. I had her for Sex Ed.
Now for disecting Aya's schedule... Mr. Constantino was my SCS teacher and Powerpoint teacher...He is a sweet man. (Oh and you do need Powerpoint skills in college. Nearly all of my teacher who lecture uses Powerpoint to present lessons...so it's nice to kno how the program works.) Ooooohhh...I had Mr. Harris...he's a great man.... funny in teaching.....the first cycle was e-z....however it got confusing in Javascript... >_< Mr. Rivalan was okay... he was funny and helped me a lot, when I had to go for a business Mile. Now...Aya...dearie..what the hell are you even taking Chinese again for! I thought that three years of Mrs. Wang was enugh for you...but four? Hmmm...does that mean you're in Level Four now? Who else is in Level Four from Level Three?
As for me... I'm trying to study...doing the best I can...but there is sooo much reading.... ;_: Good luck tho, with school, guys! ....Hmmm....from talking with Auntie on the fone and with Ms. McLean.... I figure ppl in HS will know the news of what's going to happene next week....
Miss you guys a lot...

Ms. Stagliano is a nice teacher. She's funny, but can be boring. So is Mr. Weiss. I hope you get Mr. Radice for chemistry sometime, Neko. He's a great teacher to have for chemistry. Here's my schedule:
A-Power Point: Mr. Costantino
B-Aerobics: Ms. Mcclure
C-College Accounting: Mr. Rivalan (He's funny. He did a magic trick on the first day with the delaney cards. "Pick a card, any card." ^.^)
D-Internet Publishing: Mr. Harris
E-English: Ms. Carpio (I don't think any of you heard of her, because she's new.)
F-Government: Mr. Mills
G-OPTA
H-AP Calculus: Ms. Futernick
J-Chinese: Ms. Wang

School is all right so far, I guess. Only English is really
boring...it's usually my favorite class, tooT_T Even if Mrs. Meller made
us do lit logs, at least she had personality and didn't sound completely boring.
This professor is so bland! Chinese is neat, though. No handwriting,
yay!
I'd rather explore shelves of books than cable^^ Waaaiiii, Taka's soooo
cute in the manga! The way his face lights up when he talks about money...
So I was looking for some translations for this really...not so famous manga^^;;
I came across this.
Waaaaay far from what I was looking for, but maybe one of you might like it:p
--this blog was glomped by Mina on Thursday, September 5, 2002 at 11:12 p.m.
I c i c. My neighbor upstairs keeps on telling me about his adventures of cable exploration all the time. He's really addicted to it....and one time he watched tv for many hours without sleep that he looked like the resident dead...that was cool lolz.

Wassup y'all? How has the first day back to school been for u gals? Oh yeah, if ur taking APs, take the ones that are part of your college core cirrriculum. When u get there, u'll have a lot of leeway on your classes...i don't have any problems in LIU but some of my friends do esp when it comes to the core classes. They include history, eng, economics. All's swell so far lolz.
--this blog was glomped by sLiMy on Thursday, September 5, 2002 at 03:03 p.m.
Mina's right in that aspect...because of the layout and also because if I watch cable a lot and the answer is...
I don't watch cable that much. It's just like regular tv...besides....too lazy to even look around for what's going on. Been reading The New York Times tho...they have it in my school for free....
Altho...I've been watching Crank Yankers, Courage-The Cowardly Dog and Sponge Bob Square Pants whenever I can...>_<...
As for Inu-Yasha being on Cartoon Network.... I got word on one of my mailing list's recently.... ;b
--this blog was glomped by miz on Wednesday, September 4, 2002 at 11:00 p.m.
Oh, I think she was just announcing it cuz it's the first time it's being
broadcast and it's the layout and I like it...I don't even know if she watches
them all that much on TV^^ Oh, and yesh, I did know cuz that's all people
on the Inuyasha lists I belong to have been talking about lately.
So how did you find out, Miz? You actually watched it?
Ah, my few seconds of labor in searching proved
fruitful^^
What's wrong with you, Kitty?:p
--this blog was glomped by Mina on Wednesday, September 4, 2002 at 10:22 p.m.
Lolz. Now your addicted to the tv in ur dorm Miz. Bet u prolly went "berserk and over-excited" about the cable privileges u have. A lot of anime are broadcasted on Cartoon Network including Yu Yu Hakusho, Gundam Endless Waltz, Inu-Yasha, and many more...lol.
What translations are you searching for Neko?

Yesh...and I also have this wallpaper; in fact, I have all of the ones I
deemed "pretty enough" from this site^^ The official
Ribon site has wallpapers, too!
For the latest one, you usually have to play a sliding puzzle game (and win) to
get it, but if you wait about a month or so, they'll have a new puzzle and a new
wallpaper and the wallpaper that you needed to "win" before will be lumped up
with the "old" ones^^
Oooh, you think you're something special. Oooh, you think you're
something else. So you're Brad Pitt; that don't impress me much.
Hey, sLiMy, wanna go out with us on Friday? You can have one girl on
each side!^_____^

--this blog was glomped by miz on Monday, September 2, 2002 at 10:17 a.m.

*tumbleweed rolling*
...Well...I think it's special...
--this blog was glomped by Mina on Sunday, September 1, 2002 at 01:58 a.m.
Oooh, I really like that song! I think I heard it the
first time in a store upstate. I liked it even more after reading an
Andromeda songfic based on it^^ That was cute cuz some of the words
were changed to fit character that was singing it. Brad Pitt is too real;
I only want cartoon guys! Aoshi...Gen-chan...Taka's cool, too!
This Auron wallpaper
is neat^^ The site I found it at is
Mediocre at Best, in case anyone
else is interested in more. I like the wallpapers at
AnimeBGX most, but they're testing new
stuff at the moment. Maybe they'll be done by the time you read this!
Oh yesh, so I went and searched for other sites with Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne
translations and found one with all of them except for one of the specials, but
I'm sure that's translated somewhere cuz I remember reading it.
Just ask on the Ribon list^^ By now, you've probably done a search of your
own already and found them, though, since it only took a few seconds to find a
site that has them. Most likely, however, is that you were too lazy to
search and was just waiting for me to post them for you:p

First thing to say, I really appreciate u gals! Truly! I'm feeling a bit funky today hahah. Oh here's an interesting song about Santa! I'll do so well as a Christmas song too!
Itz titled "The Night Santa Went Crazy!" by Weird Al Yankovich. Oh yeah Shania Twain's "Impress" is good to, thou the song is geared towards gals. Note: People who are crazy about Brad Pitt shouldn't listen.

1. Would you like to tease me? [y/n]
2. Am I a torture subject? [y/n]
3. If you has a chance to challenge me would u? And in what?
4. Am i weird? Name all that apply please!
I didn't know that Vagrant Story came out for PC? If not, then how did u play it Mina? Ur usually not into console games.

Hi all...sorry about disappearing from the scene of blogging... however college has started this Monday for me and it's a bit of stress....lots of walking and waiting and falling asleep for me...
As for Mina's question, I got all my text books... $200 something odd dollars of it... >_< ()
There was a very big mix-up when I got my books as I walked like an idiot the first day... to Hunt Union and then backwards lugging two very heavy bags and the next day also lugging back to Hunt Union, the same two very big bags.
I had panicked and got all my books at the College Book Store, being jipped off royalty, so I went later to Damascene Book Cellar, the local College Text Book Store in town...and got everything cheaper.
So I had to go exchange everything back, hence for two days I felt like an idiot. The only reason why I think I acted, like one, was a very sleep deprived me...
My classes are all okay...I've been to every one of my classes except for one...which is tomorrow...all 2 1/2 of it...!
My Resident Hall is nice and the only problem, I'm having now is my Fridge hasn't come yet and I'm having a bitch of a time, hooking up to the Internet from my computer in my room.
Sighs Ahhh well..I have another appointment with the ResTech soon, so.... that's one of the reasons why I'm not updating my own blog...Talk to minna later... so..ja...!

"People who complain that the junction system in FF8 took too long and was too
complex to manage must be fucking idiots."
Does anyone here feel like an idiot?^__^ I went for auto! I guess
I'm just lazy.
"In games like FF8 and Vagrant Story, it's a pain in the ass to make even
low-level weapons and armor sometimes."
Yesh>_<

Welcome back, Kitty! Chinese people scare Kitty?^^;; Kitty
weird^____^ Not just a Kitty, but a Vampire Mind Control Kitty! Oh,
I think it's Toronto, by the way. Ooh, I put up a new
Chester/Arche
wallpaper (if you want a 1024 resolution, I'm sure u can change the link
appropriately^^)! It was supposed to be just Arche, but the screenshots I
took are too small since it's only from an mpeg, so I had to add Chester^^;
Hrrrm...I need to perfect some special effects.
So when do the "little people" start school again?^__^ I know I start on
the third, sLiMy starts on the third, as do most colleges this year
(don't know why, though). Did the you collegers get all your books yet?
I only need one more. Yay, no more heavy carrying! Dumb blonde guy
at Shakespeare gave me the wrong book today>_> Ah, that's cruel, I didn't
mean that^^;; It wasn't blonde anyway...maybe dirty blonde (not as in
"unwashed" and if you really did think that...there's just no hopeO_o). He
probably just typed in the wrong number or something when he looked it up; I
could have done the same. Also, I returned it with no problem, yay!
