There have been a lot of things that I've been putting off recently, that I finally was able to get to today. Formally drop my Radio Practicum class, which had no equipment to begin with in the first place, get a new CD Player, do most of my laundry, clean my room, and update this blog. I’m debating on if I should ask Sally, Jasson, or Crimson to make a new blog layout for me, but chances are they will be too busy with other things. I haven’t seen Crimson on AnimeRise.com in ages, Sally is looking for work, and Jasson is doing the same.
In other news, I talked to my mom about Otakon again. Naturally, she still wants me to room by myself, and, unless this is for educational purposes, shuck out the money for all the costs at my expense. Since she’s so damn adamant about me staying in a room alone, mixed in with my desire to go to this Con, and the fact that I’ve wanted to do this for a long time, I’ve decided to apply part-time at Aramark Food Service as a cashier. No, it won’t get in the way of my studies, even if you consider I have to meet a classmate named Joe at Slane Student Center around 7:00 PM for a class project, and best of all, I know most, if not all the people I may eventually work with. I turned in my application this morning, so sometime later in the week I hope get a call saying to come in for an interview. I hope I get this job, and I hope my mother doesn’t call me asking where the extra Tax Forms have been coming from. If she’s reading this, then she’s going to have plenty of warning…
I’ve also updated my blog with a new section called Pixel Items. This area holds some of my favorite pixel items from Gaia Online. Before anyone asks, no, I didn’t go on a mass spending spree; I’ve had these pixels for quite a long time now. Moreover, I want Spring to come, and I want to look at Cherry Blossoms that will be opening up in March. I don’t like Sakura as much as I like red roses, but I do like to look at the Cherry Blossoms that bloom in the Spring.

Today is the first Friday in this season the Catholic Church calls Lent. That means that today I cannot eat any form of meat, with the exception of fish and vegetables. I’d really like smack the idiot Pope who decreed that fish wasn’t considered a meat, considering that biologically, fish meat is no different from cow, chicken, or pig meat. Of course, Judaism and Islam also have dietary rules and regulations, but most regulations deal with milk, pork, and pork-based products. Catholics, however, can’t eat any type of meat on Lenten Fridays, including pork, but also, beef, chicken, and lamb. Again, someone please smack the idiot Pope who thought that these dietary laws were a good idea...-_-;
Now that this rant is out of my system, I feel better...

Today is Shrove Tuesday, also known as Fat Tuesday. Catholics all around the world will be attending festive parties, masques, and all sorts of celebrations this, the final day to celebrate before Ash Wednesday. Seeing as tomorrow will be a day of fasting, no meat, and the beginning of the solemn Church Season of Lent, then I guess my Catholic Ancestors saw no harm in partying one last day…
I’m giving up chocolate for Lent. Yeah, I know it seems like the easiest thing to give up in the world, but considering my appetite as of last Thursday, I need to deny myself the need for chocolate or it will never be considered a sacrifice. If you want to know what I’m talking about, I’ll run down the basics. I didn’t have my period starting from the beginning of June last year, until last Thursday of this month. Then my period started, and now my eating schedule has been completely thrown off track. Last Friday, I could only eat fish, fruit, and non-chocolate sweets, Saturday it was just chocolate, Sunday was just meat and chocolate, on Monday I had to force myself to eat just about anything, and today I am once again craving chocolate. I don’t care what anyone says, I’m still seeing an OBGYN when I go home for Spring Break…>_<
In other news, Otakon is still up in the air. Raf will need to talk to his parents after he gets his paycheck on the 15th of this month. The reason: He needs to take the family van instead of his car, and he wants to know if his father, a professor of French at my college, would like to come along as well. I don’t really care one way or another, Raf and his dad have gone to Otakon together before, so it’s not like this will be new for them, but that will also mean that I will have to room alone. It won’t be too much of a burden, but still, the idea of going to Otakon is hanging up in the air.
Well, I’ve got to get to class. I’ll write tomorrow if I can…

Well, I know it's been forever and a day since I've updated this Blog, but schoolwork has been keeping me busy. My classes have been go well, if you consider that fact that I sometimes completely insane in my Acting 101 class. It feels good letting lose and such in that class. I have no clue why, but it just does...
Thinking about going to Otakon this August. Raf and I still have so much to plan for, but if we can go, it would be worth the time and the drama. Of course, mom and dad don't want me rooming with a guy, and thus, I should stay in a room by myself. Of course, if they're willing to shuck out the extra $189.00 a night for a single room, then I'll stay in a room to myself. If they don't want to shuck out the money themselves, then I'm rooming with Raf.
In other news, I sent out a new one-shot called Suffer. It's a PG-13 story, so please exercise caution when clicking the link...

It’s amazing how much wisdom you can learn by sitting down with a landscaping worker at breakfast located in the school cafeteria. I met Roy, one of the workers at Budd Services, the landscaping service we use on campus, and we had a very down-to-earth talk about the world while eating cereal and scrambled eggs. He gave me some advice about how to live my life and make my way into the world.
"Keep it real and earn your keep," he told me. And I, for one, agree with him. I wish everyone in the world could keep it real, but they don’t. Of course, I still have a long way to go before I complete the "earn your keep" part of the deal, but it is sound advice that I plan to keep.
So why is it that the ones who keep it real don’t have the high paying jobs? I mean, those work first-family later business men and women have all the power, wealth, and social prominence, but for the ones who keep it real, why don’t they have the above privileges? Maybe its society, maybe it’s because they’re happy with their work, or maybe it’s because they don’t need wealth and power to be happy?
I’ll never really know, but as long as Roy is happy with his work, then I have no reason to complain at all.

Well, school has just been one long race track for the past couple of days, that I don't know if I'll ever get to the finish line. Below is the stuff I've done, and below that is the stuff I need to do...
Done List
1. Post my Ronin Warriors Fan Fiction Poem Unseen
2. Send mom and dad my School Day-To-Day list via my Hotmail Account.
3. Update my Blog
4. Get the AIM Names of my friends and fellow Mods at AnimeRise.com
5. Review some Ronin Warriors Stories just for the heck of it.
6. Watch some more DVDs now that my Homework is finished.
To Do List
1. Wait for mom's response, and for her to put the money on my Buxx card for the IC this weekend.
2. See the required play at school for class on Friday
3. Other stuff
Other than those things, not much else to say...

Not much has been going on as of late. I'm getting a fan fiction poem looked over by Cora, a fellow Mod at Anime Rise, talking with Torrent, wishing Crimson or Cyra would get online, doing my school work, hanging out with my friends, and taking it easy.
Our NCSL Delegation finally has something to advertise with, via a long painful night of trying to figure out how to run the copy machine at the college library. And before you ask, no I did not get paid one cent for making the advertisements. I did them out of the goodness of my heart, and if I ever have to make another advertisement, it won't be anytime soon.
My Radio Practicum class is tomorrow. Hopefully I can still do my political commentary show without too much resistance. Then again, it would be fun to wake everyone up in the morning with Jazz or 1980's music. I can just see that now...

Well, Movie Night is out of the question. Turns out, the movie theater we're going doesn't have The Phantom of the Opera. Crap, and I really wanted to see that movie...
In other news, ff.net decided to stop being an ass with my poem To Everything, and has finally decided to let me edit the poem in question. If you want to read the updated verson, click the following link: To Everything
I still need Crimson's and Torrent's AIM Screen Names, so I'm going to PM them for their Screen Names when I get on Anime Rise. I also need to start a Live Journal so that I can join the Live Journal group Read Me, do my homework, talk to some of my friends over AIN, and then get everything else done. I'll write to you later Blog...

Well, I'm now back at High Point, and a whole bunch of things are going to be taking place soon. At 5:30 PM, I have to go to my Theatre Class, then I have a 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM class on Wednesday, and finally, I go to my Wednesday only class: Literary Magazine Practicum, which lasts from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. On Thursday, I go to my American History Class, and then at 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM, I go to my Thursday only class: Radio Practicum. I'm really excited about my Radio Practicum Class; I hope to do a Political Commentary show for the listeners at High Point University, and if I can't, I'll try to play some Japanese Anime music. If that plan fails, I can always play Jazz Music or 1980's music.
In other news, I finally got an AOL Instant Messenger Name, so if you have AIM, I'd like to hear from you. I'm also looking for Crimson's, Torrent's, and several other people's screen names.
Also, High Point is hosting a Movie Night this weekend. I wonder if Phantom of the Opera is still playing at Carmike Theater? If I can't see the musical, then I can always see the movie...
