As of 12:30 this afternoon, my brother left St. Mary's Ryken High School, my old high school, and went with the school's wrestling team, which he is on, to a tournament that will take him away from our house for the next two days. I wish him luck in his all of matches, and I also hope he comes back home in one piece.

Last night, my dad decided to show my brother some techniques that he had learned when he was on his High School's Wrestling Team, to help my brother with his future matches. As they were tussling, they somehow managed to upset Casey and Sunny. I don't exactly understand why they were so upset; Sunny and Casey tussle all the time, so I don't know exactly why would they get upset when they saw my dad and brother tussle?

In other news, I'm going back to college on Sunday, so I'll be on the train most of that day. I also have to register for classes, clean up my dorm room, and get settled in again. So, for awhile, I'll be busy...

Well, I'm back home from Altoona, and I am so glad to be here. I've come to find out that my grandmother and I don't see eye-to-eye anymore. We argued about so much during my visit, that I think my blood pressure got a little higher than normal. Grandma is so smothering, and it really makes me mad. I never had this problem with her when I was younger, so why am I having problems with my realitives now? I still love my family, but I seem to be growing apart from them as I get older. It's sad, but I guess that comes with growing up and becoming an adult...

While I was in Altoona, I went to visit my mother's grave. It was nice to talk to her, even if she's not physically with me. I also got to visit my Great-Aunt, several other realitives on my father's side of the family, and some new people that I met on the Altoona Transit System.

I'll write more later, when I have something to write about. Let's just say that I am glad to be home.

This Christmas Day was wonderful. Santa was good to me because he gave me new cloves, a scarf, and new socks. I also got a new DVD Player to replace my old failing one, a Gift Card for Land's End, some money, and other gifts that I can't name off my head. I wish I had gotten a new pair of dress shoes, but I can wait for those, I have nothing formal to wear just yet.

I'm also announcing the fact that I will be going to my grandparents' house in Altoona, PA and I will not have access to a computer, much less an internet connection. I'll post anything memorable after I come back, but I'm announcing my hiatus until this next post.

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and my house will be full of activity. We put the Christmas Lights and Ornaments up last night, admist the Christmas Music playing in our CD/Radio System. After we finished with the tree, we sang, badly I might add, Christmas Carols, and told family stories.

This is what I love about Christmas. The gifts, the family, and the music. Next to Easter, Christmas is also one of my two favorite Church Holidays. Speaking of which, I need to bug mom and dad to take me to Confession tomorrow, and then to 10:00 PM Mass. I'll try to post Christmas Day if I can...

Four more days until Christmas. Gaia is starting its Christmas Event early...not that I mind caroling.

In other news, my grandparents have been here for a couple of days, and I'm glad they're here. My brother is done with all his finals, so we're stucking in the same house until I go to Altoona. Joy...

We aka everyone presnet in the house including myself, have decided to decorate our Christmas Tree on Christmas Eve. That should be fun, decorating the tree, listening to Christmas music, and, if I'm lucky, Children's Mass at 4:00 PM EST, or Midnight Mass starting at 10:00 PM. Happy Holidays!

Well, I'm back home in Maryland from my long train ride. My grandmother and grandfather came a day early, but I can't complain when my grandparents come visit.

In other news, French Ronin Warriors writer Yami Flo has translated some of my Ronin Warriors stories into French. If you want to read my English stories translated into French, as well as her other French fan fictions, then click this link.

I guess I should conclude this short entry with a small laugh. Some person from Japan tried to e-mail me with the title of the e-mail called Sex. There was also a file named britney that's also a .zip file. Do people think I'm an idiot or something?

Over this past week, I have been recieving e-mails from a girl in France who wishes to translate my stories. I gave her the okay to do so, and I was amazed at the speed she put out the two translations. All I can say is...WOW!

This has, however, has forced me to look back on my days as a Warlord/Masho fan fiction writer and reflect on what has happened. WARNING: PHILOSOPHICAL RANT AHEAD!

I started writing Warlord/Masho fan fiction in the summer between my Freshman and Sophomore Year in college. I had taken a few religion and philosophy classes at the time, but I never knew if what I had actually learned in those classes would pay off. One of the classes I did take that summer was High Point's World Religions and Eastern Philosophy class. We ended up studying myths, beliefs, and traditions, and the first ingredient to my first Warlord/Masho fan fiction, 7 Days was actually born. The second part of the mixture was taken from various festivals celebrated that, on certian days of the year, welcome the dead back to the land of the living. Add a dash of cultural information I learned about when I was in Hawaii, and mix the final part of the recipe was a What If type question. What if I could see a dead loved one for a short amount of time? Would I cherish those precious moments? Or would I try to keep that loved one's soul here? It began to sink into me that most people, if faced with that situation, would have to make a choice like that. It wouldn't be an easy choice, but I know that life will sometimes ask us to address the hard questions.

Thus, with this mixture of religious traditons, characters being forced to ask the hard questions, and other important issues, 7 Days was born. I tell things the way it is; do I believe humans are hypocrites? Yes, I do. In fact, I'm a hypocrite myself; so, in a way, I can't be lying when the Warlords accuse mortals of being hypocrites, because I know for a fact that I am one.

I have to get off now; I'll try to type more later when I can.

Well, it's over. I am offically done with finals, and now, I have to deal with the stress of the Holidays. At least I'll be able to see my grandparents and my two Boxers, so this Holiday can't be too bad. At least I'll be able to go to confession when I get home, and hopefully, Christmas Eve Midnight Mass.

In honor of the end of finals, and for thinking ahead and getting the items for dinner early, I will post some of my favorite pixil items from Gaia and various Ronin Warriors Sites. Here we go:

I got a call from my mother last night. Much to her dismay, we need a new system to get rid of waste water and other such stuff that deals with human crap. Joy, that means that we have to go to a laundromat about 15 minutes away from our house to do our laundry.

In other news, my grandparents are coming down to visit us for Christmas. Moreover, I might be able to stay with grandma and grandpa for awhile, which means I will not have an internet connection, when we take them back to Altoona. I hope I can visit my mother's grave while I'm there, I've wanted to talk to her to let her know what's been going on with my life.

After getting some rest after my two papers were turned in, I was surfing Gaia and reading other people's blogs about the general state of fanfiction. While I do agree that some fandoms are going to the dogs, I've also noticed that most people tend not to leave critical reviews. I guess the people that have posted in this thread seem to agree with me.

So I got to thinking, what if I started, or joined, a clique or group that promises to critically review fan fictions from various fandoms? This would not be a group of flamers or ego strokers, but of people who would actually critically look at a story, and give their honest opinion as to how a person can improve. Maybe, just maybe, this could save the Ronin Warrior Fan Fiction writing community and, we can only hope, fanfiction.net. I know fanfiction.net gets a really bad rep, but I feel comfortable post on this site, and I wish it nothing but the best...even if it is going to the crapper.

For some starnge reason, this this the most often asked question for college students around exam time: What is sleep?

Hopefully, after I finish my overdue Mid-Term and turn that in, as well as my Final Paper in for my North Carolina History Class, I can ponder that question as I place my head down on a soft pillow. Of course, I'm still wired on whatever hormone that is turning me into a fucking Creature of the Night. Now all I need to do is drink blood, shapeshift, wear black clothes, and aquire supernatural powers, then I'll be considered a true Creature of the Night. Finals must make people do stupid stuff that they normally wouldn't do during the regular school year...

In other news, Crimson has given me a link to her temp. blog, Jasson thought my bell and lanterns I got on Gaia were cute, I haven't seen any of my friends ever since I've kept up this crazy nightshift, and I think I'm slowly loosing Brain Cells. I have an overdue Mid-Term to write, I'll type later...

I know it's been forever and a day since I've updated this blog, but now that A Moment of Reflection has gotten new a face-lift, I believe I can put down my thoughts without looking so out-of-date.

I updated everything; the text alignment, the links, my friends, and added some new things to the Sprites, Cliques, and Banners Section. If you want to know, I got those paper lanterns from Gaia, and I would be more than willing to give a link to the store I got them from...

In other news, Finals Week is here, and I've been keeping some really odd hours. I'm up most of the night studying, I take my exam(s), eat something, and then go to bed, or only wake up at 6:00 PM EST and do the whole thing over again. Mom and dad would probably kill me for these hours, but they're not the ones stressing out over finals.

In other news, I've joined a Yahoo Group called Mystic Armors and Defense, met one of my fans in real life, and got asked by some girl from France if she could translate my stories into French and post them on her friend's, who is also French, website. All I can say is that the past year has been very exciting.

I have a semi-new story out on fanfiction.net called Breaking The Habit. Feel free to review the story and give your opinions. God only knows I need the critical reviews...

P.S.-Chances are, I'm not going to change the theme of A Moment Of Reflection unless I can con Sally, Jasson, or Crimson into doing a new one for me. Then again, I like this layout, so chances are I'm going to stick to this theme.
