So, Christmas was very nice, and I love everything I got... OK... OK, I didn't really like the VEST [remember those things that you wore in 3rd grade? Yeah... this isn't exactly a nice little GAP thing] my grandma gave me, but I know it came from her heart, and so I shall LOOK at it and cherish it... yet never go out of the house wearing the thing. [Think I'm being mean? You try being taken serious when you're wearing a vest that has little snowmen all over it... Yeah, that's what I thought.] On the bright side, I got my cute little pink purse. Yes, it's pink. But it's cute... So... yes yes. However, now Christmas is over and Kirsten [that'd be me] realized how lazy she has been in deciding what she will be doing next year and where she will be going college-wise, and has not even begun to send out college applications. This is bad. This is very bad. Bad me. So, I am now getting my head on straight, making some decisions, and printing out applications that will hopefully be sent by the end of the week... as long as my dumbass high school counselors can get their job in order and give me my damn transcripts. Do I sound mean? I do... and it's my fault I waited so long to do this, but still - You'd think they could actually DO THEIR JOB... but NO, they have to sit around and drink coffee and get payed for it while my college career is sinking lower and lower in a hole... or their cup of coffee for that matter. *sigh* Uh... yeah, I'm a little worried. So... I shall be posting here on and off in fits of curing my worries and wasting time I should be spending getting everything sent out. Wish me luck? Or send me some encouraging words... tell me to shutup... or tell me what you are wearing today. Do whatever... just don't forget to do college applications!

Ooog. I haven't done anything with this in days... I guess sometimes I get busier than I think I do. Who woulda thought. Anyway... other thoughts - It's strange to hear good web people [web superstars in my eyes, lol] talk about places that I live by and go to all the time. I won't say who it was, because I don't want to come off sounding like a geek [god forbid I make myself look like a bigger one!], but it's just weird... In case you didn't know the feeling. :)

If you like to see the photographic works of other people, I highly suggest visiting this page. I'm looking at the black and white portraits right now... and I adore them. My works are usually also slightly blurry... which is actually the way I like them, however, my teacher also hates this and so I always have a C in that class. But, what can ya do? Sacrafice what you like in your art for a good grade? I think not.

OK... so the below post was a bit overdramatic, but, oh... oh well. I'm just rather annoyed that Bush is [probably] going to win. To tell you the truth, tears actually came to my eyes when I heard. See, I just think Al Gore is very respectable. I share a lot of his views and it seems to me that he has a lot more preparation for the presidential office that Bush has. In addition, I also find Vice President Gore to be very inspiring, he has come this far and has done what he believes to be right even though many people around the country think he is a "cry baby"... he did what he believed in, and that counts for a lot. *sigh* That's all I have to say.

I think we are all going to hell. No, really! Just listen to my theory! - First, all this snow that has us digging out our cars and wondering if we'll even get out of our freakin' houses and NOW it appears George W. Bush will be taking office. We're all heading straight to hell, I tell ya.

By the way, the font used for the above image is Rund Marker. Although, I am putting that there more for my reference... I really like that font.

Pretty! Pretty! I really like this layout. Nice and Christmasy, doncha think? Anyway... just to give thanks where thanks is needed - the background sidebar thing was made by me using the Paint program that every computer has. Pretty proud of myself for that feat. Heh. And the above green image of "merry christmas, baby" was made using flaming text, which has a lot of cool fonts and such. :-)
