Wednesday, August 27, 2003 | 12:36 p.m. np : Kajiura Yuki - Open your Heart Ooooookie. So I knowwww that I have been gone for somewhere close to about 2 months. But you know, that was justified! Sort of. This has been the shortest summer vacation I've ever known, mostly due to the fact that I'm transferring to a school that works off a semester system. That was the bad news, that I had like, a 2 month summer break. But. The Good news! -I am out of that hell hole known as UCI -I am actually getting educated -I get out for summer break in May. (I bet everyone's just about forgotten about me! XD) I've kept this blog layout for almost 6 months now. That's horrible >_O From the time I moved out of UCI to now, everything's been a rush. Moving out, cosplay, preparing for Fanime and AX, coming home, unpacking, buying furniture and supplies, working on the 1/100 X105-Strike, learning to drive, and moving down into the apartment again. I didn't get to stay home very long, but I at least got to see mostly everyone and spend a decent amount of time with them. I also finally got to see my doggy again. *hearts* I also remembered to take pictures of my room before I left again. It was really too short of a stay. So what in the hell happened between AX and now? Well, believe it or not I actually have drawn stuff. *gasp* Of course, I didn't finish anything that was backlogged and haven't done any con reports, which I'm thinking of dropping completely! I don't think I have time for that stuff anymore! I should be like Rene and leave it at photos and that's it. But AX 2003 was really fun. That was a crazy rush con, and like usual I was up until 4 am the first night finishing Sora and Riku. Tons and tons of pictures, some are posted places, but I'll need to take care of those too. So after the con, I came home to recuperate and then worked on the 1/100 model of Strike that I bought. Here's some pictures. Kira is 1/20 and he took me 4 hours to hand paint, and was a real pain. Not too shabby for my first attempt at modeling! I hung out with Jack a lot this summer, made a few new friends, and I don't even need to say this but, all the spare time in between was used to play RO. And I drew my assassin too, which, I deleted last week and remade. 68 levels gone. T_T AUGH, I'm a thief again! I've actually already gone through the process of moving back to Socal, started school already on the 25th, and live in the new apartment that I share with Kenji and Yuki. Yuki is my new roomate! He sleeps in my room, and he's really nice. Here's a picture of him sleeping. Cute. ^_~ Kix and Kevin move in this weekend but their school doesn't start until late september. So, lots of blogging to be doing, new layout is going to be Gundam Seed! (it's partially done, really) I'm going to be very this year I can already tell. I will be back soon. -+>  |
