Saturday, November 22, 2003 | 10:41 p.m. np : Hybrid : Blackout I think I'm going to end this semester nicely, and make it a real nice powerful finish. I'm nowhere near 4.0 and not hoping for it, considering all the stuff I went through - but this first semester has treated me well and all that. I've always blamed myself for not trying harder, but now that I'm used to everything that won't be so much of a problem anymore. Thanksgiving is sooo close and it will be my longest break from work before the long finals streak. I expect to get through it without much problems. Aside from school there's not been much else - being tired all the time, sleeping in, occassionally going to AI, playing Pop'n and IIDX, that and Matt's been nice enough (or evil enough) to lend me his RahXephon, which I've been very hooked on. RahXephon = very very good. I don't download new releases off BT anymore cos the ROers would kill me for the lag. so DVD's = good. Ever put your hands together with a friend and played that thing called dead finger? Yeah. Some aspects of my life feel like they are going somewhere. Others seem to be going nowhere. -+>  Monday, November 17, 2003 | 06:54 p.m. np : Mega Man X - Storm Eagle Fat entry of my life = been very homeworky o.O but I finally got my break this last week/end! Mirae came and visited us, and I decided to show her around the Socal area cos she's been here for longer than I have and has no idea where anything is x_X so I took her and kix to kino's and marukai and book-off and all that jazz! And I also picked up Special Edition TRC 2~! It med meh happi :D *color!* Matt and Sid also took me to AI to play IIDX. IIDX is teh fun and I can beat mostly any lvl 6 songs. Lots of hw and lan partying later I find out Charles is going to Norcal for Recca! And I got the priveledge of tagging along!!! @_@ It was the awesomerz. I totally didn't go to Recca at all tho cos of time constraints and I'd have gotten there too late to meet up with people anyway =[ but I did get to finally watch Matrix Reloaded (soooo cheezy) and Love Actually with Bryant, Rene, Bran, Pete, and Matt. It was funny XD Miss Dunkin' Donuts 2003~!!!! So. Fun weekend! In less than 2 weeks I get to go home again :3 But until then... *pulls 2 all nighters* oh yeah. I GOT TEH SHOOZ!!! X3~ teh end. -+> Sunday, November 9, 2003 | 04:38 p.m. np : Utada Hikaru - traveling - PLANITb remix - Pizza & CC Lemon = happy phi Winter is kicking in and it's getting colder, so I finally went shopping for some new clothes the other day - an outing with my apt mates *_* It was uber fun. Dad gave me money and I spent about half of it on some stuff from GAP and AE - I <3 baseball T's and hoodies. :3 Those are like the only things I wear. I didn't get to buy shooz though, and I am crazy about THESE SHOOZ!!! >_O Cept I can't find them anywhere. *shakes fist* ;_; makes me sad. Okay, end girly clothing rant - I am still stockpiled with HW and I'm trying to work really really hard until I go home for thanksgiving - it's in like 2 and a half weeks >_> I got really angry at myself last week for slacking off so badly and it's not even through my first semester. *kicks self* I'm picking my pace up and working harder >:| If I can't get through my first year then I'm toast! So because of being uber uber busy (UBER = GERMAN for VERY, I DID NOT KNOW THAT X_X) I can't draw my own stuff as much as I'd like. ;_; *kicks self 2x* So I thought of something interesting recently - All my apt mates are in their 2nd year of college and since the average UCI student graduates in 4.5 years, and Kenji plans on graduating from LCAD in 4, that leaves... me graduating a year behind them all. I think I have to take summer courses to catch up - but I really really want my summers - so when that time comes for everyone to go home, will I need to find a new place to stay? o_o Something for me to think about. So cos I'm an idiot and I talk on the phone too much I used up ALL 3000 of my night/weekend minutes! Kevin said that's 50 HOURS. OMYGOD. I think 50 hours of having the phone next to my head can't be good - I should REALLY find my ear piece. AUGHH I feel the brain cancer coming on~!!! So until my new minutes kick in on wednesday, puleez don't call me >_> And yeah... I spent the entire day yesterday sleeping, sitting around, drawing, and eating chocolate :3 I didnt even go trick or treating. X3 I was teh happies! I finished the picture at about 11 pm XD so technically it's not too late!  It's soooo not Sora!! I can't ever draw him the same way twice! X_X blargh. But today I am supposed to do another picture and work on my ever growing pile of... never ending homeworks! double blargh X_X I will have free time sometime... LOL I was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on the way to class and pulled up behind it and started cracking up, and it reminded me of mirae so I called her up and told her about it. It still doesn't beat the DUDEWTF license plate I saw on a motorcycle in norcal with jack though ^_^ So I called up rene and she was like "why does it remind you of mirae?" cos Mirae kept saying "I'm uke! :D" over and over in the chat room (I like how you're so proud of it mirae) - and I kept saying Rene = Seme over and over in a chat room! Cos "Seme" looks like "Rene"! rene: WTH! and its only one letter off too! phi: yeah! rene: The S and the M! ... This morning i pulled an all nighter - something I hadn't done in awhile. I was working on really really time consuming homework since 8 pm with breaks, and after Stephanie and Kevin left for class I decided I really needed to lie down. So I closed my eyes from 8:30 and the alarm woke me up an hour later. I don't remember the last time I ever felt like so much crap before because I almost coughed my stomach out! Initially I felt like seriously ditching class for the day, and when driving to school I was zoning in and out, which was totally not safe. Good thing I didn't ditch class though, my friend offered to help me on my unfinished homework cos he's so cool. (I found out he was the Kimari in AX02 Masq) So all my homework got finished, and decently too. Funny though, I used to pull all nighters every week during high school and now I can't take it anymore? I'm starting to think I'm getting old and decrepid - or maybe just completely unhealthy. Today in class the white walls looked like the wallpaper to a nursery - yeah, white walls... *scratches head* The rest of the day I'm running off the adrenaline, just like sewing at AX. I noticed a lot of different things on the road today - i was glancing around everywhere. (that's not very safe either.) The brush fire risk level in Laguna Canyon is at Red alert, the boulders are larger than I remembered, and because of the fires the sun was a really pretty red. I didn't get a photo though. On another note, Wow, I'm being watched on my DA account already! But the ash from the whole thing drifted over to Irvine and so when I woke up today, the sky outside was orange~ so I figured, wow it must be 7 or 8 am.. *looks at clock* 12:30. O-kay.. must be the fire. So it's kind of pretty, I'll take pictures of it later today. According to Chris, we're living in the land of Sepia flashbacks. X3 Yesterday post: Matt picked up me and Mikey and we met up with Charles at Shinsen-gumi Ramen (I think) and they had BEST RAMEN EVAR~~ It was super good. After that was some other things and going to AI, which when I got there, turned out I couldn't play IIDX at all. Looks like it wasn't my day to play games or something, but anyway, with Mikey trying to get me to say "mother-shit" and screaming, I won't give in, I be stronger than teh virus! XD I thoroughly enjoyed myself. 3 weeks ago was Animagic - that was extremely fun. Con-wise there wasn't much to do, so a lot of it was hanging around the room and walking around with Rene and on Friday, Chris too. It was just me in Sora and Rene in Jack's Riku the whole time- just the con, the people, that's what made it enjoyable too. ^_^ I went home the weekend after that to finally hang out with Jack, Bryant and Rene and we saw Intolerable Creulty and Kill Bill - IC was a horrible movie @_@ LOL, but Kill Bill was entertaining! I won't say what KIND of entertainment it was, but I'm leaning towards 'tasteless' XD but still entertainment. It was nice to be home again- next time I go home is next month Thanksgiving. Last 2 months post: This one is way overdue. Here we go~ Basically I've gotten the hang of school, and school = busy! But it's the kind of busy-ness where you enjoy it. I didn't think I'd ever land up in this state where I'm finally satisfied - I enjoy what I do, I have time for going out on weekends - but it wasn't always this way until recently. I came into this school as my 2nd choice and I had plans to get out after a year, but reapplying somewhere else would require a lot of time and effort, and would be 3x more expensive and eat up 100% of my time, so I wondered to myself, should I try? Was it worth it? Strangely in the past few weeks, everything I came across, things I did, what people said, has told me to stay, helped reinforce my decision and made me have stronger preferences concerning what kind of things I wish to do in the future career-wise. I'm finally reaching some peace of mind, and that's a break and some peace of mind - something I appreciate after a year of drifting. I'm glad I don't need to spend another year doing that. But I actually got my blog layout done, and after that I updated my gallery too with a few pieces too. I've been out of the drawing loop since con season- that was like June. I'm starting to draw again in my free time, so that's kind of good. I kind of want to push myself for 2004 and draw more than 2003 - just like I did more than 2002. *makes fist* Though I don't know if I can do that with school. The oekaki board went down, probably cos I haven't used it in a long time, so I won't bother getting it again. So I am trying to avoid getting a DA account, darn you rene! I won't give in to conformity >:[ ... maybe I will. But it will be your fault.
