Wednesday, January 14, 2004 | 01:32 a.m. np : Tsukiko Amano - Chou So today was fun! I went to SF Metreon today with rene to meet up with Jared, and the three of us did uber fun stuff annnd some not so fun stuff. First we arrived at Metreon and met up with Jared, and then we ate at the Sanraku restaurant downstairs - its really good, but they give you a lot @_@ and i wasn't expecting that. So after that i promptly fell into food coma but not before feeling sick. >_< UGH. Afterwards we browsed the Sonystyle stores *_* and PS store - meh nothing new. I really want the white PS2 though =B Thinger- then the cold freezing walk to Rene's probable future school AiCSF (yah?!) and that was interesting and boring at the same time. Was freezing cold, not yet recovered from my food coma, so we spent 1.25 and barted the 4 blocks back to powell. LOL. From there we went to Yuerba Buena Gardens and had a recaptured our childhood by going down a freezing metal slide that made your ass cold =B and then I tumbled out of that thing so fast I FELL on my ass! FEEEEE FALLINGGG 2.0! And then BOWLINGGGG something i haven't done since I was like 10 or so. And i'm not half bad!! I got a strike =D and Jared > all of us @ bowling! And stuff. Back to Metreon for some drinks and then it was off! And OMG @ Jared's present to Rene! Lmao awesome. Retreated back to Rene's place and watched Smallville goodness. Wow I hate slutty girls. Lol XD good episodes tho! And with that I drive home and get a heart attack cos there's this cop driving behind me with his lights on and he's been tailing me for a good while so... i say dammit, i'm getting a ticket. So while proceeding to pull over, his lights start flashing and i go dammit again! except when I get into the next 2 right lanes he just passes me. Like. OMG? my dad said cops will ALWAYS give you a ticket if they're speeding and won't do stuff like take a digicam pic of your license plate and mail you your ticket later... but god. My poor beating heart. And then when i come home my room light is on and i say FUCK my DAD is backing stuff onto DVD's so he's going through my computer files again! Do you know how ANNOYING THAT IS? Especially when I have stuff on there that I don't want anybody seeing!!! Like ERGH. It's just annoying and it makes me nervous as hell. Post is like 3 days late, but thats cos I was @ Disneyland (the happiest place on earth) and Las Vegas (the sleeziest place on earth that has the highest concentration of free pr0n on the ground everywhere you walk)! Super duper contrasting atmospheres no? New Years Eve @ Disneyland was pretty awesome but there were hellllla people there so I spent 15 hours in the park and got to go on 6 rides! *laugh* Las Vegas was hella boring, and buffets made me feel uber fat! (but I didn't gain any weight when I got back which is also good =B) I was so bored, I'm on stage 6-4 in Yoshi's Island- 4 stages away from beating that game. >_> The bad part about it all was that I had to drive like, uber long distance each way cos my dad isn't in such good shape to do the driving anymore. And I just got home last night and super duper crashed. I miss everyone!!! *collapse* So it's the late New Year's post too. Looking back on this last year, I've been pretty good about keeping my resolutions. Of course, that's only because the only resolutions I even remember making are to become happier (which definitely happened) and to draw more pictures (which also definitely happened) I tried looking for my New Years' post from last year and turned out I never made one =/ that was when I was uber sick and having those lovely breakdowns- so hopefully I don't get sick again this year! *flex* Okay so new resolutions: -I'm gonna draw even more pictures than last year That means the stuff I like to draw!! (this doesn't include homework, cos in 4 months, I had to do 300 in one class alone! >=[ ) -I'm gonna make an effort to use & browse DevArt more >_> I need the exposure. -I'm gonna learn how to use Macromedia Flash!!! *dies* -I'm gonna update my pages on a regular basis! >=| -My accomplishments in terms of cosplay this year are going to consist of more than just. one. outfit. ... <_< >_> >_<; -I'm going to read more - this includes all material: books, magazines, websites, comics- I've been ignorant for too long- and I need to keep up my foreign language skills which are progressively going down the drain =B -I'm gonna do like my brother pushes me to and go running 2-3 times a week =O -I'm gonna finally get my hands on a freaking PS2 that can play DVD's my gawd. -And a few that are personal - one being, I'm gonna try not to get so scared of every new person I meet =D Thats quite a few- but I think I can do it. Save for that last one ^^; So now that my first post of the year is up- It's time to start being lazy and do absolutely nothing to accomplish them resolutions! I'm so bad. XD -+> Monday, December 29, 2003 | 10:15 p.m. np : FRREEEEEDOMMM!!!!*dies* A la Braveheart: FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDOM!!!!! *dies* That was a good 13 hours of my life gone out the window x_X and now my head/neck/back/fingers hurts from the leaning over, hunching, and sniffing of vapors. But done! And jee, now Strike looks kind of dinky next to teh greatness that is Freedom. o.o I didn't like the blue/green decal design that Newtype gave so I didn't put those on. Putting on decals = pain, but it was the most fun part. (M) ^^;; Still need to paint Lacus, probably the most frustrating part. But that can wait till later. next is Aegis. And then Strike and Skygrasper and Zero. Omghelpmeplzthx. I went shopping in downtown SF with Rene and her siblings the other day and picked up nothing =D and aftewards we went to go see Cheaper By The Dozen cos Tom Welling (who is an ass) is in it. It was a good movie, although very stressful to watch. ~_~ Otherwise, my days consisted of model making, painting, playing IIDX and Yoshi's Island, and eating and sleeping in till 2 or 3. Tomorrow I leave to drive to Socal again to go catch my brother so we can go to Disneyland for New Year's Eve countdown. Afterwards we go to Las Vegas and probably do things that mostly involve stuffing ourselves silly, seeing as neither of us are 21 yet =B See ya all when I get back! -+> Thursday, December 25, 2003 | 06:31 p.m. np : merrymerryXmas2003~! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY~!!! I drew a piccie to celebrate and stuff, since there's no party or whatevers =B ...  YAYYY it's Syaoran, Fye/Fai and Kurogane from left to right and Mokona in the middle from CLAMP's awesome awesome i-am-totally-in-love-with series Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle!!! I'm not too thrilled about how anyone in this picture turned out x_x but I like Mokona the best! LOL and don't ask why Fye's the only one wearing appropriate snowy weather clothes ^^; and not only that I don't even know what colors they're supposed to be.. so i fibbed it all. =B But yah. Anyway! Hope everyone has a merry merry Christmas and stays warm and gets to see their loved ones! Now if only my brother would come home.. T_T ... ...Hot cocoa sounds good... XD Liek. I beat V! I BEAT V!!!!!!!!!! Jack and Pekkle and Michelle were there to see it! =D liek OMGOSH!!! MY FIRST FLASHING 7!!! And also did Absolute and Five Regrets and Dive and R5 and R10K and some others I don't remember... ONLY V STOOD OUT! *_* Did so good today! YAH!!! Also sooo many Gundam Seed presents from the friends!! Jack gave me 1/144 Mebius Zero and Sky Grasper, Rene gave me 1/100 Aile Strike, Aegis, and Freedom, and Pekkle got me the Gundam Seed game for PS2! which came with 3 haro super balls! Liek OMG! *spasm* ;;_;; Thank you sooo much everybody!! My model paints got shipped today so i'll be busy alll break painting all 5 models X_X lol And yeah... *gets lost in thought* -+> Thursday, December 18, 2003 | 08:23 p.m. np : Hamasaki Ayumi - Surreal School is out! Finals are over! I'm finally homehomeHOME!!! I get to veg at home and do whatever I want for basically a month! :D I go back to school on January 13th but possibly a week later. Anyway anyway I'm uber (uberu) excited to be back! Finals week was a super duper pain and there was much much stress and it was very hard >_< I had to draw an entire city for perspective class and finish a 20 second animation thing. But that's finally over! Rene also came to stay to be in Socal for Chris's birthday! Which is TODAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS!!! :3 Whilst still in Socal, we went to play at Disneyland (with all the holiday decorations) with Cici and Matt, went into Haunted Mansion with all their Nightmare Before Christmas fanciness happening! Thats the only time I'll go into Haunted Mansion willingly >.< And there was tons more going outz and having fun with teh Cici and teh Mattz, and going to AI and garbage cafe where Cici POPPED a CLIP in her sizzling beef Udon! It was a clothespin all camouflaged and saucy and it was SCARY! LOL~ we also went to the fancy Beverly Hills center with teh KIX (who managed to pry herself away from RO for one day!)! I bought some clothes from the AE there =D and Kix went craziness at the GAP and bought a really nice jacket! and we went to go eat at the Stinking Rose! And Cici and Rene sat in the scary Fertility God chair!!! (at least you know they're not pregnant! o_O) I didn't get the time to finish teh RahXephon DVD's Matt so nicely tossed me, but I get them during Xmas break! Matt = awesomeness! Also got to play UBER FUN MARIOKART DOUBLE DASH @ Chris'! BoMB game is the BEST! LOL @ screaming OMG so many times! and i also got to watch movies I never saw before, like Hercules and Spiderman! I like them both very much! X3 In the middle of all the fun times Rene managed to put her foot/ankle/leg out of commission by busting it in the most pathetic way possible! XP And the Socal Hospitals wouldn't even take her cos hospitals freaking suck! So we were originally gonna come home after Chris' birthday but I figured better get that leg checked sooner. So we came home yesterday! And I drove freaking 470 miles yesterday! I made it from Irvine to SJ in like 6 hours (pretty good!) And beat the LA traffic too! Except the weather right after the Grapevine is SO WINDY it was SO SCARY we thought we were gonna get blown away =B But thankfully I had tea and Rene in the car to talk to to keep me awake, and we all made it home safe. Now my shoulders and arms are alll sore and I slept for 13 hours last night, and mommy made me yummy beef noodles. It's good to be home!!! More updates later! :3 WAITWAIT I forgot! I am getting better at IIDX! And I can beat um. 6 7star songs now!!! Presto, Flowtation, Strong Jaeger, Final Countdown, PPP, and... I forgot. And me chris and rene went to go watch Last Samurai- which was AWESOMENESS and way better than expected! SOOO sad but SOOO good good telling of the westernization of Japan!! And also Rene helped me cut my hair with Chris' comb blade a few days ago and IT HURT LIKE WUT- but at least now it's like 'i'm so pretty~ oh so pretty~' XD XD XD -+> |
