Let's get to the fun part: Did you know in HK, a modded PS2 is approximately (fine. exactly) $216 USD? I just found that kind of funny because although the US PS2 is marked at $199, if you calculate the 8.25%? sales tax into your transaction it comes out to be more. *basks in satisfaction* I'm just kind of waiting for people in North America to wake up because it's already 9 in the morning there ;_; and there's nobody to talk to... *sigh* ^_^; It's lonely on the other side of the world. It's not fun dealing with pushy Hong Kong citizens who no matter where you happen to be standing (in my case, a very faraway corner), always manage to trip over you and glare you in the eyes like you're at fault for them not watching where they trod. I think 2 years. That's about right. I finally picked it up again to start where I left off, which was somewhere around lvl 30 and Estar. 20 more hours of playing later, I've got all 16 GF's, 3 out of 6 of my characters are lvl 100, every side quest save for the Card Queen quest is completed, and everyone, with the exception of Rinoa, has their final weapon. Kenji SUGOKU thank yews for getting Bahamut and Eden for mee. (Kenji knows everything about every FF @_@) I've almost got everything, I couldn't even THINK about leaving it alone again. I'm going to finish this game, dammit!!! Black Matrix Cross - Looks like we've got Zero (and playable too) now, Ne! ZeroxAbel = XD XD XD For some reason, a Male Goshuujin-sama just makes the game SO much more FUN! Just when you think that the holiday spirit is going to kick in, some people have got to ruin it completely. I just hate those people that are blatant enough to MAIL out their Xmas wishlist to people, with only the interest of people fulfilling those wishes in mind, while completely forgetting all about the entire purpose of this holiday. Giving. How fucked up is that? People who mail their wishlists out to people seriously have no sense of modesty or sincerity whatsoever. Instead those kind of people just go out and buy some really cheap, half-assed things to give back and say in their disgustingly fake sugary voice "I didn't know what to get you back." Of course not (considering they never asked or even wondered from the start). If you don't want to put in the effort to give someone something that's actually meaningful, or that person doesn't even matter to you, then save everyone the trouble and just don't bother. I swear, if you're making an outside effort to try to talk to some of your "friends" just so for some reason you think they keep in touch with you enough for you to matter enough to them so that they might buy you something, the fact that you say you celebrate the holiday is a complete insult. I think it's better to give a few meaningful gifts from people that I share everything with, because it just matters more that way. I can't believe there are people who buy a bunch of half-assed trinkets for a bunch of people they never talk to until this time of year because they want them to give them something in return. That's just absolutely disgusting. I hope those people are smart enough to realize that friendships aren't forced, and sorry it may seem that way to some people, but there is more to that than just getting - or should I say, "giving" things to each other? I'm sure many people can relate. If you have had anyone do this to you, please take my advice and politely tell them to take their email and whatever they bought you and shove it? (somewhere unpleasant) And by the way, Happy Holidays everyone. ^^ [ 04:40 a.m. | Monday, December 9, 2002 ] -I spent 7 straight hours sketching for my portfolio yesterday/today. -Only 3 of them are decent. ~_~ -I signed up for classes. Easypeasy basic drawing basic painting basic sculpture. -I had to pull an all nighter to get those @_@ -I updated the gallery wif some gifts and fanart. Not much. -I am almost so officially done with this quarter. I didn't turn in my final drafts, I am going to be ditching all the finals. -My entire now until Dec. 12 is open for my application procedure. And now I need the other half of my applications! This weekend WE are gunna go GET a TV! And play video games till we DROP! XD YESSAH. Are we gunna take kevin to Curry house this weekend? Is it another sleepover? Is it going to be a FF8 night? Figure drawings? Video games??? @_@ I still feel just a teeny bit bad about not passing my classes this quarter. Oh well. I swear. Despite shoving off all my finals and classes, the studious instinct in me is trying to make me do well even in futile situations. I'm trying to surpress that, so that I can concentrate allll my stress onto the art school applications. So I am stressing about both right now, when I don't need to stress out about any! @_@ And to top THAT all off...
