I got two shots today! And they still are sore! So I was reduced to a stony no driving woozy person today who still... managed to splurge $70 on CD's ^_^ HAL's new album and... the first Chobits Drama. And. We helped Pekkle get Takoyaki ingredients, and we will be creating them on Thursday. WooHA! Takoyaki. I want some.
DDR MAX300 still out of my reach. But Mirae, you cannot defeat me on Puzzle Fighter! *runs away* I dont want you to beat me T_T!! Stay away!!! And. Lots of cops on the road tonight, I assume since 9/11 is nearing. Mirae got pulled, one other person got pulled, and i hear from heidi, in 1 hour, 3 other people got pulled.

Oh Meimi WAIT! I just finished watching Karekano last week (not US commercial release of course, it was some 3rd party DVD). And. Um. Yeah is it supposed to be a lovely 26 episodes? I'm so proud. But watch my try to play it on the pad. Hah.

Gyuuu okay really quickly: I got back yesterday from 6 days in LA/SD. I went there 1 day, went to d-land 1 day, went to downtown disney 1 day, drove to sd, moved oniichan into his dorm, then drove home and got home really late. And now today I have gone out with mommy and bought some cloth, the Chobits Image Soundtrack (which is good btw) FINALLY my Sept Asuka which was 10 days late due to my moving and forwarding mail, September Newtype (I missed August! NO!!!) And Chobits 6 (thought I missed first print) T_T
But YEAH! Jack has my Hikaru no Go, Pekkle was such a sweetie and got me the X Playstation Game from Japan with the promo jigsaw puzzle *SQUEEEE* and I can't wait to play it! OH OH Asuka came with a door plaque Furoku of Lagoon Engine and DNAngel that is so perfect for our dorm room and also!!! Barron got featured in September Newtype!! Congrats! He has his picture in there with the Legato and Dark Auron and Spike. Go Barron!
And and and tomorrow is mommy's birthday and we're going to go eat at Mayflower and and I'm so spazzed! >_< God Lisa and Kenji I hope you guys are having an okay time at school, I hear it's so killer! ;_; Now I have to go back to lugging around furniture and making space for cosplay! wow wow super eventful post filled ahead! I went to Great America with Kix Mirae Michelle Jack Pekkle Heidi and Chris! Erm wait let me link them all- no nevermind I wont(I'm tired) and Stealth was just so super fun we all lost our voices on it trying to decided wether to scream or laugh and yeah. ^^; I was like @_@!! .was so fun and made up for us not going on any other coaster because we spent too much time in the arcades playing DDRmax2 and Beatmania and Keyboardmania. I sucked I was all >_< But I've decided I want to start practicing Bemani so I wish to borrow it from Chris. =) After great America and having so much fun on Stealth we all went to Chili's where Jack had his fun "good deed" incident. Bloated ourselves and laughed ourselves silly during dinner, I was like XD ended up short (As usual)and all decided to sleep over at mirae's.
At mirae's we watched the last 4 episodes of Ayashi no Ceres (rewatching for me) and near the end I started crying all T_T again and for some odd reason I cried waaay more than the first time I watched it... couldn't stop crying for like 20 minutes after the last episode. I think it must be because of some sort of sibling complex... but nobody else cried. hm... so we fell asleep around 3 and got up around noon or so and i was like =_= and we all went out to get milk tea. Jack bought me my clear green lighter! So *_* the quest for the clear green lighter = success!!! (finally) So soon after i had to go home to make an eye appointment for my new contacts supply for the school year. They like dilated my pupils so they were so wide to the point where i almost had no irises and I had like BLACK eyes like O_O and it was so scary >_< and because of that my eyes were numb and also dilated and i couldn't even read my driver's license X_X All fuzzy and then when I went outside in the sunlight i'm like X_X AUGH!!! PAIN!!! So luckily I brought my sunglasses. Also lucky was that my eyes didn't get worse! Yes! So I stopped and I think I'm not going to get worse from here on out. So from there I came home and for various reasons went to bed cuz mostly of my eyes acting up on me and... feeling all nasty and numb. So I slept. And had some issues taken care of until now. =) And on Sunday I'm going to Disneyland. Or some day like that. So until then I shall try to be productive with cosplay and drawing and the such.

oh my gawd I don't remember having wanted sleep SO bad since school! It's one of those you're nodding off type of things and then your neck SNAPS your head foward or in my case, neck AND back... Heidi knows what I'm talking about ^_^ but that happened like 20 or so times within the hour but I had to stay awake because, gosh, it's CHURCH! >_< And then when I got home I finally slept. For a nice 17 hours. And i feel all PHRESH! and AWAKE! And after typing some mail, much more stress free. I think today I'm getting my MD player and cell phone. ^_~ Not sure but as I promised I'd give everyone the number when I've got it.
Went to Lisa's yesterday to give her nifty software, and I finally go Painter 6! PAINTER 6! *mwah* thankyouthankyouthankyou! She even taught me how to (somewhat) use IRC. I need summore Hikago. I can't be left hanging in the middle of the pro shiken!! >_<

So today was a lot. of stressing out. Signing up for classes. But I managed to get a semi-decent schedule worked out that includes Asian Art History, Studio Art, Writing, and Linguistics. And I say Woe to me because I've got like a 3.5 hour lunch. But yeah Tuesdays are free and rest of Fridays are free so even though I couldn't cram in 5 classes I think I'll have to do with 4 for this quarter. Transitioning. Ugh. I hate working off a 28.8 connection. I NEED DSL or I'm gunna cry T_T I hate this apartment. Stupid non digital phone lines.
So Kix's bday was fun. I showed Lisa Lan-baby and she gave me HnG episodes WEE! And although I didn't sing well. It was fun just watching everyone be together again, the whole group from sophmore year and lots of the newer people who've come together with us since then. Nice. Must admit after tonight I'm a little less bitter.

am worrying lots about breadth requirement courses to graduate, about cosplay, con scheduling for 2003, sewing machines, packing, deadlines, signing up for classes, and well... sleep. But I took care of the sleep part and passed out from 4 a.m today until 7:30 p.m. this evening. I feel really shitty.

I suppose I haven't been posting in manymanymany days. But there is an explanation to that. I've been very busy moving all my belongings to my apartment and I've just recently finished. With all the heavy box lifting and everything I got girly muscles. teehee ^^;; So I'm siting in my room with nothing in here but my sleeping bag, blankies, lots of boxes, my laptop, speakers, tablet, and stuffed kitty on the floor.
It's quite nice actually.
And I get this whole apartment all to myself for the next 4 days. So I'm basically living alone until then with no parents to nag, which means I can be out alll night as long as I want to. Which I did do just yesterday, and I stayed out until six in the morning. Which was fun but tiring. But it's all good really, since I don't have work anymore and everything! So I'm FREE!!!
And broke. ;_; But I'll be picking up my 2nd to last paycheck later. And I got to meet Somi two days ago, along with other kenshin cosplayers Dan, Dave, and Baron. They were all really really nice people. We hung around vallco mall and didn't really do much but hang at the arcade and everyone watched me play DDR ._. It didn't get very fun at the mall because all they had was DDR USA. But later we moved the group to Sunnyvale Golfland and to my utter delight they had DDR MAX2!!! @_@ And so I got to learn how to play it. Since it was only my 2nd time ever touching a MAX2 machine I had lots of really nice people at the arcade tell me which songs were fun to play. At first I was failing some songs on Heavy because I didn't really know the beat but I've gotten used to it now =D I got to play songs like ever snow (sp?) Fantasy, Firefly, that really old Konami one that heat one? I did Sobakasu too! That was really fun :D I even played with some guy I didn't know and he picked all these really hard songs like that ethnic... that indian one and I even beat that. And he did Healing Vision (the hard version that I've never ever beat before on maniac) and he failed it ._. but I kept him alive! o_o And although when I was there and I did Max 300 on standard for the first time and failed it, I went back there today and I beat it. ^_^ I was really happy!!! Now all I have to do is try to get it on heavy...
I missed the CG club meeting (Zzz) -_- so I didn't get to meet Lorelai or Kei-san but I called Jen's house but they left already. And lisa never left any phone number or cell for me to call... so I never got to drop off any sewing machine or get Hikago or whatnot but oh well. Not like I need to get those anytime soon. So instead I worked on a new piccy that I finished recently. I have my LCD screen recalibrated so it shouldn't look darker than normal on a monitor.

Um got your message. Look at the time. again. hoo. Um. Yeah. Was last day of work today *woohoo* and no more work for me. And so to celebrate I dragged brother out to a movie. But... he went to take me to see signs. And I don't like scary movies.
...So AFTER the movie I was scared shitless so to make it up to me Lee and Oniichan took me to Carrow's for food and ice cream. Then we drove around Los Gatos and looked at Ferraris (sp?) and they were really nice. And the boys drooled. Silly boys. And came home at 3.
And now I get to check the lovely aim and mail and pitases and all that fun stuff. And isn't that a nice picture? Nice name tag, Lisa. And of COURSE the "lobby" idea is still on. Maybe we might even be able to borrow Meimi's Go board that she is having such a miserable time with? =( Meimiiii Teach us to play GOOOOOoooooOOoooo *hack* I can't. I can't take up something new. Must. Keep. Away. It's really depressing, speaking of go boards. I went to the mall a couple weeks ago and asked about 4 different game/toy/hobby stores if they carried Go, just for the fun of it. And I left home at 5. And I went to Fry's again and had lunch with my brother. Er. Dinner. Er. Dunch. Whatever. And he returned Warcraft III for 60 dollars because he has some really special edition he ordered of EB some other day... And I got to see the new apartment today. It's really nice. I'd like to stay there but it won't really matter because I won't really be coming home for the next 3 years. No summer vacation and all, staying in my own apartment on campus. Things like that... but I got my CD burner fixed. It didn't get fixed yesterday though, but it burns nicely now at a rate of 16x. I'm satisfied. Time to burn things. Buuurn.

I got up. Washed my face, brushed my teeth, flossed, showered, disinfected ears, did my hair, put in contacts. Then, left the house at 5. To mirae's to draw, later to Pekkle's to shoot some monsters and watch Hackers and draw some more. And I'm home now. And my burner hasn't worked the entire day.
Lisa, you're an absolute moron. Reading Ashes is not smart. But now that that's OVER, CG club sunday sounds good. Lorelai-san and Kei-san? I can already feel my confidence leaking down the drain.
I don't think I'll do that all that again. I felt it was a complete waste of time. I need to CG more, but I wonder when I'm going to touch my Copics again, I haven't really used them since January. They're sort of just sitting there. Brand new. And unused. All 300 something of them. What a waste.

I drew two pictures using Photoshop yesterday. And today. I first did this one at Lee's house. It took me 2 and a half hours. I was very angry at the time.
Then I did this one for a shading excercise. This took a bit longer than the other one because this is my first time shading like that and I was trying to get his ugly face to look better. But he's still ugly. I only really like his hair.
I did these all on my laptop so they turned out much darker on a regular monitor. Lee said he'd help me calibrate my LCD screen or something like that. I couldn't get Painter 6 to work again, so I had Painter Classic installed with the intuos. So I'll practice working with that today.

Um, Lisa? You should probably, REALLY stay away from that site. And even that one too. Oh that reminds me. I haven't read Atropos 31 yet. But um. Right. It eats away your free time more than sewing does and you know... I spent 7 hours after school one day just sitting back with a drink and read "Ashes" until I finished it. All 26 chapters. And um. Yeah, don't DO THAT, for the love of GOD. Lisa is smart. Phi is... different. Even if it is summer.
And yes, Phi got Intuos2 today. *SQUEEEE*
I'll go read Atropos now. :D

Watched Goldmember. Today, got a graphire2. Came home to test it and have some good fun with Photoshop 7. Going to switch it in on Tuesday for the intuos. Some funny stuff:
1999: Tablet first attempt
Time: app. 2 hours
2002: Tablet second attempt
Time: 15 min.
I believe this is mostly due to the fact that the new computer can actually handle a tablet.
