well. another year have passed. 2003 was a really great experience for me. there are a lot of 'firsts' for me this year. haha. hehs. tink i'll think back through the year and note down wat's happened. haha. cos i nv wanna forget this eventful year.
first up of cos is stepping into NJ as an NJCian for the very first time. Orientation 01 was like so damn fun lorhs. i can still vividly remember all the things we did as an og. haha. went for lectures together. slept in lectures together. ogl shuyan shun jie jasmine jiing shyuan were really great. they instilled the passion for njc in me. haha. esp shuyan! (: we din have many outings. but i love every outing we had. most of the time we just went to somewhere near school to eat dinner or wat. haha. (: then we'll crap a lot. still remember tt time when we sat at coro n played truth or dare. then we forced the guys to say who they tink is the prettiest ogl n prettiest gal in class. haha. all of them were dumbfounded. haha.
after orientation came the mugging. haha. miss loh teaching bio n all of us paid attention cos we r scared of her pms. miss wong was still a great teacher then. she still is larhs. but not so much anymore. dr care taught us chem then n normally half the class is either dozing off or not there at all. haha. mr wong taught us econs. haha. his monotonous voice is a great lullaby. we weren't exaxtly mugging larhs. first 3 months were a really slack period of time for us. haha. a few of us like to stay back in school just to play monopoly n mad. haha.
well. my first cca in nj is oac. haha. (: im really glad i joined oac lorhs. not really cos of the activities larhs. haha. it's fun larhs but i did most before when i was in np liaos marhs. it's more due to the people in oac. the seniors were a really fantastic bunch of people lorhs. haha. dunno how to say larhs. but they really cared for us a lot. and u can easily just crap around with them. they are like a bunch of kids like tt. it's very nice to just play around with them. haha. n of cos the j1s are great too. seriously. there is no such things like backstabbing or politics in oac. it's unknown. haha. (: everyone is amiable n it's very fun to crap n joke ard with them. (: hehs.
the most memorable activity was the hike. from mac richie [spelling] to rifle range road. haha. (: my grp was the 2nd to arrive at rrr and i remember we just took out our poncho n slept there on the side road. haha. there were only 2 gals in the grp me n shih hui. haha. the guys were not bad larhs. haha. but the stoopid thing i remember is tt i made bread for everyone but then they had no appeptite to eat so in the end we threw away ard 1 and a half loaves of bread. haha. damn waste.
haha. n of cos the most memorable thing for me in this first 3 months is my trip to maldives larhs. (: haha. it's really the first time i've travelled so far in my life. haha. n it's the first time i took a plane. as in for long flight larhs. cos the only other time i've taken a plane is like hello from malaysia to singapore. haha. well. seriously. it has to be like the second best thing tt happened to me this year! haha. the first is of cos haha knowing him larhs. (: also through the trip. hehs. i'll nv forget wat i saw there wat i did there wat i learnt there n all the frens tt went thru the trip with me. esp rubbish grp. kiwi alicia chris yeoh bert peiling evan yingjia. haha. (: we were a really crazy bunch of people lorhs. haha. seriously i really dun mind going back there again. but well this year. hmm. i guess i can't really afford the time or the money. haha.
then came the time when we collected our O levels results. haha. well. it was a day of both tears n joy for me. joy cos i could stay in nj. (: tears bcos shiming couldn't get into nj. it was a really big torment for me. n somemore almost half my class was either changing combi or changing school. so it's like damn sad larhs. but then of cos luckily i stil have ppl like eunice shaopin with me. haha. tt time wasn't very close to zhuren yet.
haha. then came Orientation 02. which i dun deny is a disaster. haha. it was so unfun. haha. dun wanna tok abt it larhs. nth much to tok abt also. haha. after Orientation 02 the real mugging starts! haha. but then for me it's of cos still slacking time. im a damn procrastinator. haha. (: we had a change of teacher. ms wong is still our civics n math tcha. n she is gonna be too next year. haha. we got mr ang for econs! haha. we r such a fortunate bunch. at first we were all terrified of him. but then after the first lesson with him. haha. we realised we can joke around with him n all. just make sure we do our work tt's all. haha. he really raised my interest in econs im not kidding. tt was y i could do qt well for econs during common test. haha. (: miss cheu taught us chem. haha. she's a ok tcha larhs just a bit boring. haha. but at least better than dr care. haha. miss cross took over miss loh. haha. seriously at first we really din like her at all. cos miss loh was like the best bio tcha [minus her pms]. haha. but then we slowly got to learnt tt she's really qt ok after all. haha.
we had a change of tcha again later. mr thiew took over mr ang. hias. :l im not kidding he really can't make it larhs. haha. on the other hand for chem we got the most wonderful chem tcha u can ever get. mr goh! haha. he inspired me to do well in chem really. cos firstly his teaching method is good. n oso he made me very interested in chem. i had interest for chem liaos due to kiwi. haha. mr goh made my interest stronger. (: well a pity he wun be following us up this year. haha.
well. of cos i had new classmates oso. tink at first my new class was qt disorganised. disunited. haha. but as the days passed. we got along really fine! (: hehs. inevitable are the cliques in the class. but then there's no like boundaries in each cliques. so it's like mergable. haha. (: im really glad tt i've such a great class. haha. 03s23 really rox man. no matter whether it's the old or the new one. u all r a great bunch of ppl. seriously tink im damn lucky to get these wonderful bunch of ppl. haha. im serious n happy to say there's no like bimbos in my class. haha. just wonderful sweet girls. haha. n a handful of guys tt just can just barely make it. haha. n i got to noe some ppl better in my class. like zhuren eunice shaopin jiayan ranjay shiwen xiumei. haha. jiayan eunice n shiwen endured thru pw with me. man it was really a torture. haha. (: we r so glad it's like damn over. just hope we can get at least a band 2. haha. shiwen xiumei was in my gp class. haha. sad. next year they'll be in other classes. well. i'll nv forget i slept in not almost leh. it's really every single gp lessons. haha. they've to keep waking me up but of cos to no avail. even mr yee gave up on me. haha. (: i just slept my gp away. haha.
the new batch of OACian came. haha. we could see the drastic drop in the no of ppl. at first there were like near a hundred lorhs. haha. it was cut to half after the first 3 months. Geo n all the other groups were dismantled. we were distributed into new groups with the newcomers. i was allocated to Sakra. (: hehs. both Geo n Sakra were great larhs k. n tt's enuff said cos haha. need i say more. we r the best! haha. (: at first was qt sad to leave Geo. but then i got to know more ppl in Sakra n got to bond more with other ppl. haha. really enjoyed myself.
haha. the next impt thing is of cos 2nd of may. the day when we first held hands. (: hehs. do u still rememeber how u came about holding my hands? haha. well seriously this year many many things have happened. u r really the very best thing tt happened n can ever happened to me! haha. (: u were there for me when i was down when i was unhappy with studies with cca. u were there to share my happiness with me. i love all the times we spent together. studying catching movies toking crap etc .. haha. we shared so much together. really kiwi. thanks so much for coming into my life. without u. i dunno how i wld have gone thru this year. really. *hugs*
n of cos i've to thank u all jia cher n huey. u all have alwiz been by my side. since sec 3 i've shared all my troubles with u all n everything. haha. (: thanks a lot k. seriously u all r the best girlfrens i can ever get. thanks so much *hugs*.
ok. next up is hse elections of cos. haha. sorry i skipped counsil elects cos it's not really a big part in my life really. haha. well. thru hse elects i've got to noe some ppl. some really very nice ppl like wangz. haha. was really glad there was someone to go home with me everytime after hse activities. haha. now there's no more liaos. haha. well. during tt final day to vote. i had a choice of whether i wanted to be in or not. sometimes i really wonder whether i made the right choice or not. whether i will be happy just to stay in oac n fight for an exco post. well. tinking now. i dunno whether i'll be happier chosing to just stay in oac. but well. i noe i really dun regret joining hse. cos i got to noe some great ppl like linx fuq haogen hl zhaoxiu lydia ah lam haha. n of cos teo larhs. haha.
teo u have been my greatest support thru hse stuf really. n other things too larhs haha. i really dunno y sometimes i can be so mean to u. i really dunno leh. everytime i'll tell myself to treat u nicely n stop yelling at u. but i dunno leh. really thanks for bearing with this crazy gal all this while. haha. without ur support i wun have been able to endure thru the hse things at all. haha. thanks so much! well. during the hse elect was our cheerleading comp oso. haha. the first time i took part in cheerleading man. haha. it was a really great experience! haha. not the dancing part [of cos not] cos i really can't dance. haha. it's just the time we spent together tt's really impt. haha. all the trainings we had until late at night n we were chased out of school by mr lim one night. haha. he came to tell us it's really no use just to force everyone to stay until so late. haha. might as well just set a time limit n practise until tt time n then go home n rest. wat he said alwiz make sense. (: haha. in the end our hardwork paid off n we got third! haha. (: so happy.
haha. there was the first meeting we had with mr lim when we became hse reps. (: hehs. he told us tt he was not someone who is like autocratic tt kind. he'll listen to our ideas n work closely with us n not just throw the work at us. haha. (: well. it has really been a terrific year under him yes! hehs. he's really a wonderful teacher. in fact really the best hse tcha any hse can ever get. he was the only one who will really stand by our side n not care abt whether he's actually defying the school. haha. (: well. tho tt time i got a bit scolding from him during ndc. he reprimanded me for not putting hse in front of oac. haha. seriously tt time i really din like him at all. but event after event i learnt to like him n really respect him. there r few tchas whom i really respect n he is definiely one of them! there was hse camp. haha. i really learnt a lot from the camp n got to bond a bit larhs haha with the terra hse reps. haha. (: the most memorable part is of cos at bukit timah when the 5th handed over the keys n the hse badge to us. haha. can't forget tt of cos it was damn sad lorhs. hehs. i got the inspiration n motivation to work hard n not let the seniors down. hehs. well the first time we stood in front of terra holding the terra flag was on the 6th of june. haha. (: linx was of cos the first to hold since she's the captain. i remember feeling funny standing there. cos i normally stand with my classmates one marhs. haha. (: well. i've learnt to get used to it. hehs. must learn how to stand properly tho cos haha was scolded by tcha for not standing properly n for toking rubbish. haha.
well. the next time guess wat? haha. it's my bdaE! hehs. well of cos [dun hit me] i reserved my bdae for him. hehs. we went to catch Nemo together. haha. cos i really wanted to watch it marhs. haha. after tt went to have dinner together. hehs. shall tell u all a secret. i got my first kiss on tt day. (: hehs. nvm no need to elaborate larhs hor. haha.
newae something bad happened on my bdae oso. tt stoopid bitch tok to us abt the merging of counsil n hse reps. hias. it's just for show only lorhs. i dun wanna tok abt it larhs. i just plain hate her. she has gotta be the worst person i've ever met in my entire life.
haha. the next few days i have camps all the way. haha. 2 camps. yltc n bwm camp. haha. but both not overnite cos of sars .
yltc first. hmm. well. i got to know some really great frens thru it like yingxuan rachel ah lam andy yixin n of cos stoopid joyce. haha. (: n i oso got on really bad terms with others in my grp. haha. well. overall it was a great experience really. it was my first time trying out flying fox. haha. scary but fun. haha. thru this camp i also got to really see how ugly ppl can get. hias. dun tok abt it liaos larhs. it's already in the past. haha.
bwm camp was like damn fun lorhs! haha. tiring larhs cos i just had yltc but then hehs. went thru the camp with sakra. they were a really great bunch of people larhs. altho we din exactly do very well in the camp but tt's sorta secondary isn't it. haha. (: the more impt thing is tt we got to know more abt each other n we endured thru the camp together. hehs.
eh die i forgot exactly when it was but i went thru adventure challenge with sakra oso. haha. it was very tiring i remembered to walk all around singapore looking for checkpoints. haha. dunno luckily or unluckily or both. haha. we couldn't do the overnite challenge due to sars. haha. but we still got to enjoy ourselves. haha. still remembered we went to eat zhu chao after the ac. haha. (: i tink so if i nv remember wrongly. hmm. haha.
well. common test period really sux. haha. n of cos my results sux too. haha. :l actually until now i still haven show my parents my results leh. haha. for both common test n also for promos. haha. dunno larhs. maybe it's an excuse but there were really a lot of hse things to do larhs. really. haha.
the next hse event is racial harmony day. haha. we had this fashion parade. i remember vividly tt day during one of the rehearsal there was only me n teo. all the performers couldn't make it. opps. haha. we got a big scolding from mr lim. tt time i din understand wat he was blabing abt. but then now i noe larhs. he meant to tell us tt we should get ppl who can make it down for the preps to participate n not just anyhow get ppl. haha. tink he was really qt gek tt day. during another prep i can still remember him teaching the models how to catwalk. haha. (: he was a terrific tcha really. tho a bit too perfectionist tt kind but well haha it's for the good of the hse wat. haha. (: it was really very funny seeing him teaching catwalk. haha. i remembered we plotted to defy him a bit at the end n add a bit of corny stuff in at the egyptian costume. haha. 16th of july was rhd and we got third! (: haha. i tink we alwiz get 3rd dunno y. haha.
19th of july! is funtasia @ NJC and also his bdae. hias. qt sad cos i din really get to celebrate his bdae with him. hmm. cos of funtasia marh. haha. made up to him by giving him a gundam model. (: hehs. was really glad tt he liked it a lot lorhs. can still remember the look of shock on his face when he saw the model. haha. silly pig.
haha. 25th of july was CO concert. opps. remember tt day we bought flowers for everyone we noe. hehs. qt sad tho. hmm. jiayan broke one of the instrument. yanyi's instrument actually. hias. then she din have the mood to watch the concert anymore. n yanyi was like crying so badly. it was really a bad day. haha. i missed half of the concert cos i was keeping jiayan company. haha. bad experience.
the next event is national day celebration. 8th of august. haha. oac seniors' farewell was on the same day oso. so i din really manage my time well n thus the scolding from mr lim. well. haha. i wun forget tt day mans when he scolded me at the grand stand. i really din mean to but tears flowed out of my eyes. hias. im alwiz thus full of emotion. haha. still can remember him lashing his tongue out at me haha. his pity-less face staring at me just speaking like matter of factly. haha. man. i'll nv forget it. i noe he did it for my own good. in the end for ndc haha we got third for our hua1 che 1. haha. sorry forgot wat's it called in eng. hehs. see i told u we alwiz get third. haha.
well. oac seniors' farewell was qt fun. haha. (: i remembered i was the receptionist. haha. qt funny arhs the seniors was locked outside the hall. haha. we just refuse to let them in n they were like protesting. haha. a few of them larhs. haha. really must thank the exco. cos they noe i was very bz so they gave me very light workload. like making the door gifts n the receptionist table. haha. we had to learn this dance so as to perform for the seniors. haha. we danced n danced everyday into the night haha. after we performed right. i felt funny leh. haha. like so many days of hardwork just ended like tt. haha. the next day national day. haha. me n kiwi went to catch the fireworks together! (: haha. really very nice just being in his arms watching the fireworks lorhs. haha. felt so lucky. hehs. hope this year national day we can do the same. haha. tt is if he has no ns duties. haha. cos the ns ppl have to help out in national day i guess. haha. the next event has to be teachers' day. haha. well. still remember terra dunno why alwiz in charge of mass production. haha. we had to make the souvenirs for the teacher. a key chain n a bookmark. sian. i hope they still have the key chain! not easy to make k. newae. still remember mr lim. haha. he helped us paint some larhs. then seriously it wasn't exactly very nice lorhs. haha. then he kept saying like wat he so artistic n the keychain he painted is very nice. haha. we were seriously amused. opps. tink in the end we repainted his or added some more designs to his. haha.
7th of september i went for the doggie beach party. haha. got to noe some terrific hc ppl. eve's class basically. haha. then i saw her. as in jy. haha. felt qt funny dunno y. i saw her too when i went back sn for tcha day. well. me n her now. we r just like acquaintances. haha. dunno larhs. still tink it's a serious waste. silly me. asking tt qn will forever be a regret in my heart. in case u r wondering wat's the qn. it's not "do u want to go with me" tt kind of qn. haha. it's a silly qn tt i shld have known the ans to. haha.

deepvali was like the last event b4 promos. haha. still remember we have to learn the dance. haha. it's really not easy k. haha. during one of the training dane lim wanted me to take over miss lim so he can practise. haha. it's like he have to propose to me larhs. haha. so damn funny lorhs. :l qt embarassing larhs really. haha. in the end surprise surprise! we got third. haha. der.
well. promos sux as well n so does my results. haha. sians larhs. i really have to work harder liaos if not hias. this year is a damn impt year. hmm. really have to plan my time better. haha. shouldn't sleep so much. haha.
nth much happpened in oct. i only remember i felt sad the whole day cos there was some problems b/w the both of us. haha. :l tinking bad. hias. dunno larhs. so stoopid lorhs.
25th of oct was open day. haha. im not gonna deny tt nj open day sux. just like 2002 one. haha. dunno larhs. if every year they r only gonna have like cca fair. haha. forget it manz. it'll nv be good. haha. the only nice thing was hmm the package? haha. n of cos the structure built by oac! haha. it's not very great either larhs. haha. tink i was the only one who was scared on it lorhs. haha.
haha. in nov me n teo helped mr lim in some cip thingy. to organise sth larhs. haha. it was very funny tt time when we wer eatting non stop the catered food when the ppl inside the room are listening to the speaker. haha. mr lim oso did the same as us. haha. (: damn funny.
oh yarhs. toking abt cip. me n my class did some wonderful cip together this year. like the singapore duck race [tho my duck din win] n also the standard chartered marathon. haha. it's not so much the no of hrs we got tt's impt to me lorhs. haha. it's the amt of time we spent together [slacking! haha.] during the cip. next up is oac seniors' camp. hehs. eh. we were allocated to new grps n this time im in Trellis. haha. i tink this is the best grp i've gotten so far really! (: hehs. everyone in my grp is willing to work n all of us r very amiable. haha. very nice to work with. but of cos like wat the exco attached [shuying n yy] said. we shldn't be too amiable must speak up more. haha. (: well. i had to learn how to bike cos of the camp. haha. really have to thank the ppl who taught or attempted to teach me how to bike. haha. esp teo. who sacrificed her time to go down to bishan park with me. haha. first time i cycled in ubin. haha. it was a scary experience actually. haha. esp down the slopes i was really terrified i'll like fly off the bike or wat. haha. really have to thank my grp member for helping me thru out the cycling trip. haha. feel i shld push harder tho. haha.
eh. the day after my camp 25th of nov. haha. :l the saddest day of the year. i broke up with him. hias. dunno larhs. during the period of time when we were apart hias. it was a really terrible period of time. i was totally at a loss of wat to do n wat to tink. really have to thank all my frens who have given me support thru this period of time [esp jia cher huey teo shuyan] haha. thanks a lot! 5th of dec was jts. haha. not bad at all larhs got to interact with the 5th n the 6th too. haha. (: we ate at terra restaurant. well. dunno whether it was just me or wat the food well is seiously not very nice. haha. but it was very fun larhs seriously. (:
6th of dec i took my sat. hias. sux larhs. eh. got back my results in mid dec. 1310. well. it's really not bad i tink but everyone who got higher than me is like gonna retake lorhs. haha siaos. i dun want to! hehs dun care larhs.
12th of dec was his enlistment day. haha. the few days b4 he booked in. well. it was really fun just shopping around with him. but then it really got me even more confused. haha. i visited him in tekong on the 21st of dec. (: hehs. the place is seriously nice larhs but then hias dun have many shuai guys around. haha.
24th of dec!! haha. well we made up. hehs. no need to say more i guess u shld noe how happy how elated how blessed i felt. haha. (:
well. before tt there was hse seniors' farewell. haha. a pity me n teo had to miss it. opps. haha. eh. on the 22nd of dec i tink if i nv remember wrongly. haha. we ate at swensens in orchard [beside singtel building] haha. seriously very fun just crapping with mr lim n all the other terra 5th n 6th. haha. well. 30th of dec i got the news tt mr lim wun be our hse tcha anymore. haha. see how sudden it was. hias. :l only a few days u noe. hias. none of us saw it coming. we were still saying next time we'll come out together to eat. hias. i guess we still will. but then things wun be the same anymore. he wun be eating with us as our hse tcha anymore. :l hias.
well. i spent the last day of 2003 with kiwi. haha. (: very happy u noe? i got my very first digital camerA! haha. olympus x250. i've alwiz wanted a olympus camera actually. haha. cos very cute marhs the way u on the camera. haha. (: a big thanks to kiwi cos he helped me pay for the camera first. hehs. he went into a lot of trouble just to lend me the money to buy the camera. haha. (: thanks dear!
well. i guess tt's conclude the year 2003. i've really mixed feeling abt it. haha. so many things happened. haha. it hasn't been a smooth ride last year n i believe this year wun be too. haha. but i noe with him n all my frens ard i'll be able to pull thru. well. the only words i wanna give myself r tt i've really gotta learn how to cherish the ppl ard me. this is an impt lesson i've learnt. so many ppl taken away from me this year. shiming eunice n him [for a while]. hias. i've known it all my life tt i've to learn how to treasure everyone around me. how come i dunno how to put it into practice. haha.
also. i've to work harder. hias. really much harder. i can't procrastinate anymore. i must plan my time well. (:
yep. so tt'll be my 2 resolutions of the year. im not gonna set a lot of resolutions cos wat's the point i noe i wun be able to achieve it. if i can achieve this 2 (: haha i'll be damn happy already. yep.
hopefully i'll have no regrets for this year. haha.
