Met up with my CGS friends so celebrate Yueling's birthday. It has been such a long time since I last saw time! Nice to see them again. Anyway we had steamboat buffet at Suntec City there. I think the dessert are nicer!!! hehe...anyway all 7 of us were present for once for the birthday celebration. Everytime, either one or two of us will not be there for the celebration but this time round, all 7 turned up!!! =) so exciting!...
But feel quite bad that we did not get her a proper cake! Anyway after the dinner, we just walk and walk and walk to esplanade and just sit down and crap!!! haha =) Have fun taking all the photos! Have to go and do my user interface now for my project...Hai I have been doing so much of websites that I really run out of ideas now and feel like puking hahaha...Have no idea what to put on my proj website...I was telling my friend that I dont think I will touch the design of my blog soon!

1st Sep 2004 is Desmond's birthday!!! haha..we went to a restaurant called "My Dining Room" somewhere in Club street! As usual, desmond's with his "super good" direction sense brought me to 81 Amoy Street instead of 81 Club Street...Given that it is his birthday, I am quite calm and did not "scold" him for making me walked such a long way..Imagine that I am carrying my laptop and my heavy bag and his present, I think he sensed it so he helped me with my laptop...But luckily, we still managed to find the place. In fact, it is on top of Union Bar if anyone of your know. Anyway, the food there was alright. Not as superb as what I hope it will be and the choices there are quite limited!!! But desmond ordered dessert wine!!! He seems to like it a lot while i hate it! =p I still missed the snapper that I had at Four Seasons Hotel!!! It is BIG, SUPERB and VALUE FOR MONEY! =)
Apparently, my dear Desmond did not charge his battery for his new digital camera. So, in the end, we ended up taking a few photos!!! so sad =(...
I was at Wilson's birthday party yesterday (4th September 2004)...Hmm...as usual, there were mostly guys (some were quite cute..hmm not talking about you Wilson) and only a few girls (but some were quite pretty!!! haha). I must say that Wilson was quite a joker!!! We suan him and joked about him throughout the night haha =p...It was fun!!! A good time for me to distress!!! haha =) We even digged out all his "ugly" inner news that only the JJC volleyball people knew about!!! But now, everyone including his friends know about it!!! haha..anyway i am still amazed by his 360 degrees turn in the middle of the road in NTU!!! Remember is 360 degrees turn!!! and he is still alive...haha...Wondering how he did it? Maybe I should ask him to come to SoC and give a talk on that...=p...hmm...hope my friends will not do that in the middle of NUS! =p...

A busy week with lots of birthday celebration. This wednesday, 1st September, is Des's birthday! We went to "My Dining Room", on top of Union Bar to have dinner!!! Hmm...I think it is quite expensive given the type of food that they served. Don't think that it is quite superb! Alright only! I still missed the fish from Four seasons Hotel! =) It is the best dish that I have ate so far.
Anyway, after the dinner, we just went for a walk and on our way to clarke quay, I saw 2 rats!!! haha 2 rats!!! Wow..so much...
Been eating good food recently...haha...yesterday ate these hand-made soba from Paragon...Yummy!!! It is quite nice and clear!!! haha love it so much!!! Furthermore, the chef is quite skilful in making the soba!!! haha...gotten a lot of attention from the public!!! Realised that nowadays, restaurants or bakeries like to have an open kitchen concept to draw people to their restaurants...haha maybe that is one of their strategies plan.

I was just SUPER moody yesterday!!! So, the post yesterday doesn't mean anything la...your can come up to me and say whatever thing your want! =)
First late night meeting for CS3214!!! I can foresee that there are many other late nights too! =( But the best part is that after our discussion, we actually went to the HK cooked food at the coffee shop opposite AIA!!! =) Yummy!!! That is my favourite!!! The food there is super nice! especially the fish-head soup!!! =) Best in Singapore and the entire Universe!!! The taste is quite unique..so it is very different from the rest of the fish-head noodle that I have ever tried!!! Anyway, I think the eating session was quite fun...haha at least we are not eating "entreprise java beans"!!! =p
Time to slack for a while and take a look at my Yahoo! Premiership!! Haha!!! Anybody is playing the Yahoo! Premiership?

Is there a certain period in time when you don't feel good about life, about the pen on the table, or even the image you are looking at now? Haha..just crapping...anyway, i dont really feel good today. I have no idea why at all. Something is not right! hmph...
3 modules for 1 semester. Yes, it seems or it is slack. But I just hate it when people told me that,"Wow, 3 modules only? so slack!!!". It just irritates me! But the fact is that I took special semester. That is why I can afford it. What were thay doing when I was like the only few souls studying?Enjoying their holidays?
In addtion, taking 3 modules is not about being slack or what. I just want to concentrate more on 3 modules rather than having 4 modules and dont do well in them. I have short-concentration span at times and furthermore, I have some fear for the chemistry module as it is competitive and it is quite geography. So, i rather dropped it and just spend more time on some other thing. It is just that simple. Just want to get this out of my heart.
Anyway, my tone sounds a bit pissed off? No, I am not..haha..just trying to get something off my heart that's all...

Finally, TLC2004 is over!!! I must say that everyone is tired after that! Still remember when we had our 1st meeting and I was supposed to call up the schools during the first few weeks, receiving SMSes and calls from my BOSSES and schools...haha there was a point when i was so sick and tired of phone calls and hate it so much when my house phone rung! =p haha...
It had been such a long time since i touched a vball! Hai...missed it so much when I was in JJC when i will just go to the squash court and play with my friends. Hehe..all the push-ups that we got! It was so memorable. Somehow, I feel that I am not as "crazy" as I was in JC. I feel so much low key now! How how? Must brighten up my life...just feel like life is so dull nowadays...Wake up --> go school --> go home --> study!!! Oh man, I dont think I can stand it for long!!! I need a life! hahah =p Time for some exciting thing to brighten my day!
Going to be real busy next month with all my friends' birthday, my bf's birthday and also our anniversary! =)Time to shower!!!
Oh, your should try out the shokuboshu's new body foaming wash that contains oat milk and is package in a yellow bottle!!! It really brighten me up! Smell nice too~

Technology Lifestyle Conference 2004 is coming!!! It will be on this saturday! After that I will be free...hehe! In fact, not exactly..hai! cs3214 is coming my way too...=(
Anyway, one of these days, one of my friends asked me whether i am looking for a bf or husband now? Haha..i really dunno how to understand this question. When i asked another friend of mine, he told me that he is just looking for someone whom he is comfortable with and is able to communicate with her. Then if everything goes well, then it will be a bonus!
In fact, sometimes, girls and guys have different thinking. Normally, girls would have different perspective for their bfs and husbands but how about guys? Do they have different perspective for gfs and wives?
For me, I like guys who have a boyish look and are cool. Cool in the sense that they have their own personality, friendly and most immportantly, have a "family" sense in them. Haha...=)

Technology Lifestyle Conference 2004. Everyone is happy and tired but I am not. Quite upset over the turn out of the students although I have more or less expected how it will be like. Just feel that I have not brought down enough people to grace all your efforts. Anyway, I am really happy and thankful for those who have take their time off and come for TLC2!!!
Next week (21st August 2004) will be a second round for TLC2. This time round, my stress level is getting higher cos there should be more students than today!!! Everyone please help me promote this to your friends especially those from Polytechnics and Junior Colleges.
The main objective of TLC2 is to allow students who are interested in University studies to consist NUS School of Computing as one of their choices. In addition, we will also be launching our first publication - SHOCKWAVE! Secondly, Information Technology is the pillar to Entrepreneurship. In the society today, in order to be more competitive than others, you will need to engage in Information Technology and how can one do so?
That is why NUS SoC has organised this event and we will be having 2 workshops after the whole symposium:
1. Communication Skills - To give students a better insight on how communication might work in workplace and how they should present themselves.
2. Grid Computing by National Grid Office - To give students a better awareness of the latest Information Technology and how Grid Computing can make you more competitive in the Computing world today.
We will be giving out goodies bag and there will be a short lunch reception. In addition, there are great prizes to be won, such as MP3 player, usb thumb drive, laptop bags and many more.
We do hope that you will be able to join us for this event and do register online!!!

Puteri Pan Pacific (Johor Bahru)...hmm a 5-stars hotel but yet it just seems like a 3-stars hotel in Singapore. The service was quite below my expectation. The sauna and steam bath was not working and the Jacuzzi was not that fantastic either. The Pan Pacific (KLIA) was so much better! Anyway, enough of complaints..haha..I did have a great time during the long weekends in Johor Bahru but nothing is better than HOME!!! Still like Singapore!!! =) When i am in Johor, expecially when i am closing the borders, i feel scare...dunno why too!!! Just want to be extra careful over everything.
Anyway, it is the Msia MEGA SALE now!!! Just like singapore great sales!!! I bought some stuff over there. Bought a skirt that was on 60% haha after conversion it is like quite cheap..haha and a happening blouse! n not forgetting doing something different to my hair again~! =)
In fact the trip to JB is for relaxation..to relax myself and get away from all my worries and trouble for one day!!! =) Not a bad relaxation after all..haha des and I plan to do that more often haha..

Reformatted my comp. yesterday but apparently, there is something not right with the window xp. Need to activate it but i could not activate. ANyway, no choice, have to go down to the fujitsu service centre today. Last time, when i brought my comp down to the service centre at MPSH, they just do it for me on the spot but now, the fujitsu service centre is at AS6...make me run here and there...furthermore, they can't do it for me immediately.
=( no mood...sianz...after that went over to SCC room to settle some things...in the end, i was late to meet Desmond for lunch thus, had to take a cab down..haha took a Merz cab..at least the attitude of this driver is much better than one of the Merz cab driver which i had encountered b4...
After that, just went to walk around from bugis to sim lim sqaure to orchard...have to be alone at time..need to spend sometimes with myself..somehow, i believe that spending time with yourself is impt!!! Maybe you will understand yourself more?
Anyway i m using my sister's comp. now...but the good thing is i can collect my lap top tomorrow! So happy! =) Poor laptop has to spend one night at the service centre.
