Eiichi
Tokanu, age 18, is a snobbish foreign exchange student, but where
his attitude might gain him enemies, his strange ability to avoid
disaster keeps his head above water. Played by DragonSoul.
Aethan Grey, aged 23. British journalist who is on an extended stay in Tokyo on a teaching contract. Absentmindedness can annoy, British pride can definitely rub the wrong way, but overall a pleasant enough person. Played by Pickles.
Jin Hitashi is a 21 year old college senior majoring in drama. He has an irresistable charm when it comes to both guys and girls, a slick wit, and a complete refined gentleman air to him. He is a control-freak and is very possessive, almost to the point of violent if necessary. He is rather sadistic as well. Played by Taline.
Kiyaru Nakane, age 18, is a new boy at college. He's gentle, kindhearted
and soft-spoken, friendly and helpful, but a loner who keeps mostly to
himself. Although there's more to him than meets the eye. Played by Suki
Lan Kusanagi, is a 19
year old student on the Tokyo university for art and music, who
sometimes sings in mostly unknown night clubs. Being a dreamer and
posing a sarcastic humour has made it hard for him to forge friendships.
He is a loner, who only feels comfortable among people when he is on
stage. Played by D-chan
Rafael Brite is a 20-year-old college student majoring in psychology, minoring in criminal psychology. He's an oddly socialized person who's generally seen as awkward since he's usually off in his head. He likes to find out what makes the human mind go wrong. He's also more of an observer, usually lurking in the background of social functions. Played by Sierra.
Tsuramoshi Akibara is an eighteen-year-old art student fresh from the country. He knows little about city life, but is bound and determined to make a good impression with the people he meets a long his way. A little hyper, and terribly sarcastic, he spends most of his time drawing and pondering the meaning of life, leaving him with a deep meaning of self. Played by Ember.
Fion Paligan, 18 years old, works as "maid" to pay for his education as a vet. Though suffering from a broken heart, the youth is still cheerful and friendly, posing a encharming naivity and childish trust. Played by D-chan
Rich, a 21 year old originally from New York, isn't as he seems. At first glance, he looks quiet and bookwormish, but as soon as he opens his mouth, it's realized how much of a goof-ball he is. Even though he's working hard to earn a degree in marine biology, he takes plenty of time off to joke around and play pranks. Played by Megz.
 Our
villain. Nothing is known about them so far. (This will be updated as
facts are found out.)

Rich
Rich looked up, his expression exasperated. "You think?!" he asked, more harsh than he had intended. He sighed and ran a hand back through his hair. "Sorry, yeah, actually any help would be great." He laughed slightly. "This piece of crap wasn't going to last me much longer anyways..."
He leaned back against the door side of his buick and put his hands in his jacket pockets. His jacket was black leather, so long it reached his knees, and he wore a dark marron t-shirt underneath. His pants were dark navy jeans, slightly baggy and on his feet were clunky, thick-souled brown boots.
Eiichi
Singing with the heavy music blasting from his car speakers, Eiichi coasted down the highway, letting the cool air mess up his blond hair. A slight congestion in the traffic drew his attention, and his eyes fell upon what was slowing the traffic down.
Parked against the divider was an old cream colored Chevy buick, a young man cursing at the vehicle vehemently. "Stupid ass peice of shit!" Eiichi blinked as he drew nearer, looking at the guy. He was American, Eiichi could tell, and to hear unaccented English was like a cool breath of air on a hot day.
Pulling over, Eiichi turnd down his radio, leaning over towards the American. "Need a ride?"
Pi-chan (Aethan)
(OOC: Hi, Tal. I should be on tomorrow at about 4:00-4:30, so no big. I hope your mum doesn't limit your time. My mum's tried fifty million times already and failed. Hope you have as much luck as me. Free love for everybody!)
Kiyaru
Glancing up as the doorbell rang, Kiyaru sighed and set his sketchbook aside. He slung his feet off the bed and stood, running a hand through his hair as he left his room and ambled off through the small two-bedroomed apartment to the front door. Halting in front of it, he opened it slightly, peeking out at the person waiting oustide. He blinked. Standing there was a tall boy, probably around his age, very feminine, with chin-length blonde hair and pale green eyes. "... Can I help you?" He asked curiously.
Fion ^-^
Nervously the blond pushed a long fingered hand through his wind swept hair, grimacing as he got stuck in a few tangles. At least no straw this time. Looking like something the cat dragged in was the last thing Fion needed, specially not on the first day at his new job.
Maid... well, it could be considered a better job than stableboy for some rich ass folk. He swallowed, chasing the thoughts about said rich asses away, specially all thoughts about a certain one.
The slender youth looked down at the slip of paper in his other hand, while still playing absently with a few bright locks of hair. His mother, ever the responsible and careful one (or just knowing the ability of her son to screw up even the simplest things lately), had written down the adress where he was supposed to be. Underlined three times in red. Full lips pulled together in a pout. He might be a bit absent minded lately, but he was not dumb.
Pushing the paper carelessly back into the pocket of his white pants he walked on, eyes scanning over the housenumbers he passed. 'Nice here...'
Finally reaching the apartment block he had been searching for, he headed inside and skipped the stairs upwards, humming a merry tune under his breath. 'Wonder how the guy is I am working for...didnīt sound all that social and... nice... over the phone. Ah, well, I am here to work and not make friends with my employer.'
A last check. Clothes in place, relatively unrumpled, shoes polished, hands clean, hair a mess but that was normal and hopefully no stable smell sticking to his person. Now that would be embarrassing.
Taking a deep breath, he rang the bell.
Kiyaru
Kiyaru walked into his bedroom with a sigh, shutting the door behind him. He blinked and glanced down as he felt something rub against his legs, smiling as he noticed his cat. "Hey sweetie..." He cooed. The cat meowed in reply, pawing at his leg insistently. Setting his coke aside, he kneeled and picked the grey tabby up, scratching the back of her neck and behind her ears as he straightened.
He set the cat down on his desk as he reached it, before flipping through his CDs. 'Linkin' Park... Gackt... Nickleback... Bryan Adams...' He slipped his Daft Punk CD into his stereo and pressed play. He flopped down on his bed and stretched lazily. 'What a day...' Falling back against his pillows, he reached down beside the bed and snatched up his sketchbook and pencil. Raising his knees, he opened the book and began to scribble.
'Kami, it's quiet around here... wish I could go out. But no~... father dearest had to go and hire us some stupid maid...' He reached out absently and took a stick of Pocky from the box on his bedtable, nibbling on it. '... I'll bet he's some shortass idiot with glasses...'
Rich *cackle*
Blowing a few silvery-lavender locks of hair out of his eyes, Richard came to a stop at an intersection, shifting down to first. A couple cars went by and he put his foot on the pedal once more.
He was rather burnt out, having just come from rhet class. The professor was so boring, he'd spent all his energy entertaining the class instead of starting his paper. He didn't mind much though, being very laid back with such things. However, the teacher seemed a tad bit more cranky afterward. Well, Rich thought, He had better get used to me. Rich smirked.
Then there was a loud clunk. He shifted quickly, but the car hadn't just decided to stall, no it was whineing and sputtering now. As Rich's face contorted in frustration, he yanked the wheel and pulled over to the curb. With a last shudder and pop, the car slowed and halted. Rich waited for a minute, then turned the key. It revved for a moment, then quit. He tried again. Just loud, dangerous sounding noises. Cursing, Rich stepped out of the car and popped open the hood. He had never taken the time to learn too much about cars. He wasn't ever one of those hotrod teens who loved to get greasy, bleeding brakes and rotating tires.
"Stupid-ass, piece of junk!" he snapped at it and kicked at the rusted and peeling cream finish. He continued to the inatimate object sarcastically. "First day of class... and you break down. Thanks, really, I appreciate it."
Taline (Jin)
(OOC: This is mainly for DS and Pi-chan, but I thought I'd quick tell you all, since I can't access my email at school.
My mom has banned me from the comp for tonight (the 16th). I'll try to be on tomorrow, but no promises. I think I will end up having a limited amount of time online on school nights. Pi-chan, write me back on here and tell me if and when tomorrow you'll be on, and I'll check it tomorrow at school, then delete these posts so they dont' take up room. Thanks so much. Sorry for taking up space for my own use. Love ya'll!)
Kiyaru
Kiyaru shuffled over to the fridge, reaching a hand out to take the handle. He paused abruptly as he noticed something on the door. A small yellow post-it note sat stuck to the smooth white-coated steel, neat black kanji scrawled across the surface in a familiar handwriting. He lifted his hand and tugged it off, eyes narrowing slightly as they wandered across the Japanese lettering.
Sekien,
He resisted the urge to tear the paper to shreds. He had nothing against his second name, but the fact that his father refused to call him anything but annoyed him to no end. His name was Kiyaru. Everyone else called him that. Why couldn't he? He pushed the thought aside and continued reading.
I have taken the liberty to hire a houseboy, as I doubt either of us will be inclined to clean this apartment as often as is necessary. He will be working here twice a week. He begins today at 2pm, so kindly let him in, and do watch to make sure he doesn't steal anything.
With a slight huff, he took note of the time and glanced at his watch. Still another half hour before this guy arrived. Crumpling the note up and tossing it in the bin, he opened the fridge and got himself a vanilla coke, before heading off to his room.
Eiichi!!! (Finally...)
Leaning against the doorframe, Eiichi smiled at Jin, who had seen him to the door of his dorm room. "Thanks. For everything." They had talked for about half an hour, maybe an hour, before Eiichi was calm enough to drive.
Shutting the door behind him, Eiichi walked down the hall of the dorm and out of the building, heading towards the parking lot. The cool wind from driving with the roof of his BMW down would wipe away the worries that Jin hadn't been able to absolve, and it would take his mind away from everything.
Then, he'd be able to focus on his writing. And that was all that mattered to him for now.
Kiyaru
(OOC: Another time jump!!!)
After making a quick detour back to Starbucks to deliver Eiichi's message to Tsu, Kiyaru finally arrived at home. Stepping out of the elevator onto the fifth floor, he sauntered down the plushly carpeted hallway, humming to himself, one thumb hooked in his jeans pocket. Slowing to a halt as he reached room 515, he rummaged around in his pocket, coming up with a key and unlocking the door. Walking into the apartment with a sigh, he shut the door behind him. He kicked his shoes off, trudged into the living room and dropped his bag beside the couch, before heading off to the kitchen.
