Aii-yi-yi. I am so freaked by myself. Today I was supposed to go for the first aid test but I woke up at 7 and realised I was really dizzy. Really, really dizzy. At first I could see stuff but then it got worse and worse and everything became blurry, could only see rough outlines and weird swimming images. Then I tried walking back to the bed and I actually fell. But my Dad caught me and told me to go back to sleep. Funny thing was, all I could think of was how would be going down the drain cos I would be missing the first aid course.

Later at around 9.30 I woke up again and my Mom was so worried that I'd got Sars or something. I didn't! No flu no cough no headache no muscle ache or any other Sars symptom. Yah. I'm safe to be around. XD And later she tried calling up the school to see if I could attend a makeup first aid thing with 213 or something...she couldn't get anyone and the svhool hasn't called her back. And we're still waiting.

And you know what? This isn't the first time I've gotten dizzy in the morning or anything, it's just the worst. I remember last year during Elearning too that I was really dizzy in the morning but I could still see. Last time I went to the doctor and he said it was vertigo, that I should get more sleep. And he said reading and staring at television and computer screens would only aggravate it. I guess it is Elearning. And the fact that I couldn't sleep last night? Hah. This proves that Elearning is hazardous to your health. XP

Ahhh no cell this week cos Tania aka our dear (albeit disgusting) leader can't make it. So sorry so sorry. =(

Fweehee. I was bored and had time so I decided to do something and here are the results of that something.

I think elearning this year isn't very nice. For one thing, we only get to stay home a week down from last year's two weeks and for another we have to go back so many times. I have to go back Monday Wednesday for some stupid first aid course which I am convinced that I am going to fail, and on Thursday for Cybernet and Friday for cell. Not that I'm complaining about cell =) Cell fun. I was reading Denise's blog and the bit where she describes cell. It's hilarious! And quite accurate too. Yay Denise ^^ Btw it can be found here. Cell this week is on Friday at the GB Room (aka DB09)at 2pm and all are welcome! Yay! =)

Eeeeep. Guess what? Ivan Soh called my phone no. today. Said it was listed as a missed call on his handphone. Yinghan and I were freaking out over MSN about what the odds were that it'd be my phone and that I'm his Science Rep and all. Eep. So the conversation went something like this:

Him: Hello this is Mr Soh. Did you call this number?
Me: ......no......
Him: Oh. That's strange. Because this number is listed as a missed called on my handphone.
Me: Um.
Him: Never mind then. Bye!
Me: *sweatdrop*

Well the Contraception and Reproduction stuff for Science E-Learning are up, and one thing that I can definitely say is that I am grossed out and tickled pink at the same time. Firstly, the front page of the reproduction site contains this little footnote by our wonderful Ivan Soh, stating that "for the humour-impaired, this is the teacher's corny attempt to make the lesson fun(ny). Please do not take it too literally." Sheesh. How lame can one get? I was laughing really loudly when I read it when my Dad came in and became very interested. I hope he doesn't decide to give me one of those sex education talks. I already know. =P

And it is gross. There are so many diagrams of female and male sexual organs staring out at you and you have to refer to them to do your work. Hmph. And when I commented that the male body organs are easier to label than the female's my younger brother came over and I shall not comment further. o.O I bet Ivan Soh picked this topic for E-Learning cos he was too embarrassed to talk to us about it face-to-face. *harrumphs again* The coward.

On another note though, I hope the page I made for E-Learning looks okay. *looks to the cell people for comments*

I'm scared.

War has started against Iraq and I'm scared for some unknown reason. Scared for Iraq? Scared of Iraq? I don't know. All I know is that by the time the war ends many people will have died and countless people affected psychologically and physically. Enter the chemical and biological weapons, enter the bombs, enter the innocent civilians, enter the determined troops.

Enter the horror called war.

I'm scared.

CAMP DAY THREE
Sally led this really meaningful and vibrant worship, taking over from May Anne. She (Sally) really has this knack of leading nice climatic worships at end of camps. =) After that the Sec 2 GEPpers escaped cleanup cos we had to go for Maths Trail and so went off to eat a one hour lunch. (= Me, Tabby and Yinghan went to Scott's Picnic and after that took a nice little Neoprint which now resides in my wallet. Fwee.

But I was so exhausted during Maths Trail. Just wanted to sprint 5 metres, fall flat on my face and let people cart me off to an ambulance or something. At least it would be an excuse to skip Maths Trail. I think all the other GB people were feeling really tired too. I slept during the bus ride back and forth and dimly remember Junx behind me slamming her bag against the chair cos she was so awed by the fact that Mushroom and Rachel Tan looked "perfect" together. Apparently Rachel was leaning her head on Mushroom or something. o.O I also remember the guy at the foreign exchange counter looked uncannily like Ivan Soh but was much much much nicer. Haha. And amazingly after the Maths Trail I still had enough energy to play badminton with my Dad. I amaze myself sometimes.

Yay. Now all my camp entries are done and are taking up half the space of my blog. XD

CAMP DAY TWO
Got up around 6 with someone’s alarm clock blasting meters away from me. All 56 of us and more were bundled onto an uber-squeezed bus and carted off to Sentosa eating dou sa buns and ice-cold Milo along the way. Yummy. Went to Siloso Beach for our Sunday service which didn’t really feel like service cos it was on the sand with icky ants crawling in and out of the sand. After that went for Amazing Race! It was almost like Urban Hike with the exception of doing stupid embarrassing things I guess. Like Yinghan said, only got five stations but we took almost five hours to complete. I remember one of the stations was at the ferry terminal and someone had to be a donkey and go on all fours and the rest of us had to be blindfolded and stick a tail thing on her. Poor Jasmine. *grins* Quite obscene, really. My group got lost along the way but still managed to come in third anyway, one or two minutes behind the second group. Wasted. =)

After that all of us just flopped down onto the sand and panted and pleaded with more energetic people to help us buy drinks. Rachel Yap was doing this game of Truth and Dare dominated by dares and Christie had to take a picure of a bikini woman and her boyfriend and Yinghan had to borrow a towel another scantily-clad woman was using to wrap around herself and Rachel Yap had to do one of her cheerleading routines out in the open. The rest of us were resting and then (man should I call her Sally Wong, Sally or Ms Wong?) Sally Wong came up with the really spiffy square game. Drew this big square in the sand and divided it into nine portions labeled 1 to 9. And all the girls crowded onto the area and whatever number she shouted out you had to get off it pronto or you were out of the game. It was so so fun. Then came Jeopardy which was really horrible in my opinion =( I was doing it with Yinghan and Ling and Shi Min. But my group won! Yay.

Went back to RGS and had a barbecue. Had a surplus of chicken wings and too little sausages. The teachers just had to sit there and people delivered food to them! And they still complain that they got too much food some more. =S Roasted marshmallows are yummy. Trooped into the toilet and bathed (a sweaty, giggling and screaming gaggle of girls. wow.) and Sue Jen and Charmaine managed to royally piss Jasmine off by pretending to be able to see her reflection on the water lol. I am writing a lot. =D

The group skits were hilarious! Theme was being the apple of God’s eye and Passionfruit was so zai. Debbie is absolutely-sidesplittingly-horrendously-FUNNY. What with her acting as a spoof-off from Newton and all. Ling and Lianne were two cute little wormy worms who moved like cute little wormy worms. =) And my group was probably the most controversial of them all. We did good examples and bad examples for fruits of the Spirit. For love Sue Jen was this pregnant person and Charmaine was this gossipy/caring friend. For patience Hilary was hilarious (hilarious Hilary! Mua.) was this fierce teacher teaching the sisters of I Not Stupid people and Rachel was a blurpok and Sabrina a smart aleck and Dorothy a bimbo artist student. Very wacky indeed. But so many people used famous advertisements. No fun anymore. o.O For kindness Rachel was this very funny toot-looking person with shirt tucked in all the way and pants worn very high. And her character bumped into Charmaine’s character. Fwee. And Jasmine kept insisting on how the audience were retards. And Sue Jen acted as this porn star and Joanne fainted in a very cute way.

Now I’m rambling. So sue me. =P

After that Ms Leow and Ms Wong and Janine and Joy did a little skit all of their own. Ms Leow was someone called Anxiety and Sally was someone called Bao Zao! Sally is very good at acting. *nods* She’s positively sidesplitting. So Sally’s character was supposed to have a big temper and Ms Leow’s very anxious (duh). And Bao Zao got hit on her head and changed for the better. *nods again and falls off chair laughing* We got to sleep at 1 am so me and Grace and Elsie and Elisa and a few others were gathered around Ms Wong and Ms Leow patting Church and then Sally told us so many jokes. And she played with all the soft toys present. Sally has a knack of playing with stuffed toys and making them talk and do all sorts of stuff. Mwee-hee-hee.

So much to blog about camp. Let's start at Day One =)

SATURDAY DAY ONE
I landed up in Pomelo group as the assistant group leader and Charmaine as the leader. And Jasmine Yvonne Sue Jen Lydia Jina Dorothy Sabrina Hilary and Rachel Ang as the other group members. =)

Reached school around 10 to do structure building which I still haven't finished. Checked in then went for Urban Hike! It was so fun and tiring. We practically ran or sprinted around the whole of Orchard region! And there were lotsa stations, my group only managed to complete about 7 out of 10. We had to do weird wacky things and basically managed to make fools out of ourselves. Like having to shout "Silly Sally forgot to tell Billy Belly that his purple pants were on fire" loudly at a junction and realising it was Blind Bill instead of Billy Belly. o.O Dorothy took Jasmine's ezlink card and went up to a random person, a secondary sch guy and asked him if he had seen the person on the ezlink card, describing her as short and fat and ugly (LOL) and the guy looked freaked and Jasmine whacked Dorothy from behind and asked her where she'd been. Funny things like that. =) At first I was supposed to be the one asking cos I saw my cousin and was going to approach him but then he disappeared somewhere. Also had to drink some herbal tea mixed with Blue Pepsi but it looked gross and we didn't know what it was at first. But it tasted quite nice. Jina and someone were clambering to drink it all up. And Yvonne carried our water bottles the whole way. Thank you Yvonne =)

I bumped into so many people along the way; Mable and Hui Juen twice and Emmeline and Joey. I was so out of breath at the end of the whole thing cos we had to walk all the way back from Orchard Point to RGS. Can't believe Valerie sprinted the whole way. *is still amazed*

After that we had some group time and ate some very tasteless chicken rice. Oh and Church (Ms Leow's cocker spaniel) came along for the whole camp! Yay. So we were patting him, me and Grace and Junli, when Ms Leow asked Junli to let Church out to the field to poo and Junli had to pick up his extremely smelly excretement. *blinks* Then went for Night Activity which was very boring. They were so cheem cos 'every game has a meaning behind it such as communication skills and planning' and blah. =) I seem to be smiley-facing a lot. =) And after that by the time we got back was about 11.30 and had to bathe and sleep with wet hair in the KS Chee. Was sleeping with Grace on my left and Shana on my right. And Ms Leow and Ms Wong got to sleep on nice comfy sofas with nice comfy dogs and soft toys respectively. Church is adorable!

Swim carn was today. And man was it a waste of time! I was mainly hanging out at the Hadley/Waddle area with Ruth and Ming Yan and Asiyah and Anisha for the first half hour wher I actually WATCHED the races but later on went over to Amelia, marvelled at her belt tassel thing and fell asleep leaning on her. With Minty tagging along I think she was bored with me haha. And I didn't bring my house card. Frankly I think the house card system sucks. A lot of people ponned today and their attendance still going be marked.

Just realised how absolutely weird it is to see friends of yours or people you know decked in cheerleading outfits and cheering with cute little pom-poms. Like Si En and Emmeline and Linette and Jiching. I never knew Jiching was a cheerleader. She and Dorothy don't strike me as the cheerleading sort. Linette's cute enough to be a cheerleader =) She has a nice bouncy ponytail and a personality to match. And I also just realised that my last entry is extremely long. Well I guess it'll be making up for tomorrow, Sunday and Monday when I'm away at GB camp. No blogging then but will have plenty to blog about when I come back. =)

Here's a startling revelation. I am in charge of making the Sec 2 GEP Geography E-Learning webpage. Not to mention the Sec 3 Maths, Sec 3 Physics, Sec 3 Bio and Sec 3 Geog. Muahahaha. I am glad I came for Cybernet today cos then I wouldn't have been able to complete the linkings for those various webpages. It was weird, to say the least. They were asking for a Theresa and I knew they were referring to me but who was I to correct them? =P About 6 or 7 teachers were clustered behind me cracking inside jokes and one of them directing me to link something to something in Dreamweaver. Note to Kim, Denise and Nat: Mrs Bala is nice. So they were all mumbling about how they were hopeless at computer webpages and how they wanted to learn from the masters (yeah right).

Teachers have a weird sense of humour. Bala wanted to link a whole sentence to a webpage and the other teachers were like, "No no no! We each chose one word for our subjects and you get a sentence?" So in the end they "compromised" (with a lot of giggling in between, I mgiht like to add) and Bala linked five words. And Lucille Yap was giggling (yes, giggling) in glee because the word she wanted to link from was the second word in the whole paragraph of text. And Tan Yin Lai and Mrs Mohammed were there. Horrors. The best part must have been when I opened up the HTML Source and started typing in and Mrs Mohammed looked absolutely aghast. Lol.

After that I had to RUSH down to Plaza Sing to watch The Pianist which made me lose about one and a half hours of CCA time. It was compulsory and the show wasn't that bad. Was about this guy Wladislaw Szpilman (how did I remember that?), a Polish Jew who was relatively rich in the beginning but got separated from his family, survived the war living in old ruined buildings and became rich again at the end. I had expected it to be very horrific and sad but when I watched...nothing. Didn't feel a single thing. Felt so detached from the movie when others were gasping at the killings and all I felt nothing. (That's bad.) I've seen worse movies I guess. Personally, Daredevil is more emotionally touching than The Pianist. But I like the little attempts at humour. Like the "I'm cold" quote...and the way Adrien Brody (OKAY HOW DID I REMEMBER THAT) looked like Brad Pitt with this unkempt appearance, moustache and thick beard. Ho hum.

On a more interesting note RGS girls took up almost the whole theatre. I was sitting next to Wanling and I kept taking her (or was it Ming Yan's?) popcorn. Sorry =) It was yummy though. My belt was off and my hair was down and I lost my scrunchie and found it again. And I reached home at 8.30 and ate and crammed my ting xie. And now I'm blogging and emailing. Whee hee =) I just read something really funny on Cheryl's blog. Quote her, "If George Orwell had written Lord of the Rings, it would have been condensed to 'All rings are equal. But some rings are more equal than others'. *grins*

Yay so fun. I'm in the Encounter lab now cos IRS is finished! Oh yesterday the Sec 2 GEP cohort went for a fieldtrip to the Newater Plant. It is so high-tech k! But that Wave/Melody person sounds so spastic *faaaaantastic!* And then when we reached back to school me, Yinghan and Jem sat in the GB Room and chatted nonsense until around 6.25 PM...so I reached home really late. Around 7.15. And I was supposed to be BACK by 7...haha. Luckily my mom wasn't angry or anything. We were talknig about pets and all...oh and they're both sisters of mine now. With names to match too. I'm Kalina, Yinghan's Kandice and Jem's undecided. And I'm Springer the Kangaroo! So much for vixen-ness.

There's cell today. But there's also camp comm meeting at the same time so I'll be missing cell and I got Joey to come too! So dao mei. SO sad. I'm gonna miss cell. Cell's the only bright spark in this endless gloom of darkness known as schoool *chants eerily* So far I've invited Joey Jem Sien Lina Michelle laalaa. Yay vision!

I just got the hang of HTML and layouts. So I am making a Blurpok the Penguin layout for Yinghan and maybe one for Minty. Yaaay.

212 has turned into a menagerie of animals. We are all happily adopting each other as pets and somehow have the ability to possess multiple species. =) I have (those that I remember) a Thunderdevil, a duck, a goldfish called Glub Glub, a lama called Pinky, an evil chinchilla called Muffin, a cute liddle penguin called Blurpok, a komodo dwagon called Mushu (Jem, co-owned with Yinghan)...and forgive me if I left out some heh. Aside from that I am a cat called Meow owned by my goldfish Glub Glub, a vixen whose name isn't decided (owned by Jem and Yinghan) and a parrot owned by my, um, jie. At least I think Emmeline is my jie. Can't exactly remember. That would make me related to the whole class wouldn't it? For some weird reason I have 3 mothers: Grace (Boey), Mable, Nat. And Kim is my...grand-aunt. Wow. Isn't it a small world. *grins*

Well I've had a busy weekend. Didn't get on the computer at all cos I was out and when I check my email I have 62 new emails. *dies* Haha...on Saturday after Founder's Day (which incidentally was extremely crappy) I went uot with Nat to watch Daredevil. It was, to simply put it, far better than I ever expected even after all those rave reviews from mags and friends. Shall talk about it another time as I don't really have the time to now. Here's something: I'm already making a Daredevil layout, I'm so awed by the movie. Go watch it, all of you who haven't!

I cut my hair *grimaces* it's not long enough to tie but too long to let down...shall have to tie a really short stubbie ponytail. *shudders* How bimbotic. (No offence man)

New layout! Jaguar-themed as I was so awed by the pic I found on Webshots.com. That site is awesome, I tell you. Nice orangey-browness. Petraish, as Nat put it. I am so proud of myself this is the first html layout I made yay me! *ego*

During Art today we were all congregating outside and listening to jokes courtesy of Su Mae and Junx. Most of them dirty and disgusting but anyway. *hugs her layout*

Ahh I do not believe myself. I forgot to include the Literature presentation in my entry for yesterday! *thwaps self on head repeatedly* It was super-fun lor, all the groups included a dramatisation in their presentation. For the sake of doing one I guess. I think we only thought of our script about five minutes before the actual presentation...Hui Juen says we did...haha we're so zai man.

Anyway we included three short little excerpts as examples from scenes in war or something. The first one was HILARIOUS. Jeanette described it on her blog and I shall do it again here...anyway, the whole group of us (Me, Hui Juen, Bibianna, Jeanette and Pei Jie) went up and huddled around nervously and Hui Juen was supposed to be some German general.

HJ: I'm gonna give you bath!
Rest: Yay bath!
HJ: I'm gonna give you bath!
Rest: Yay bath!
And she throws a gas grenade (which was a piece of scrunched up paper) and we were supposed to die. But I was too busy laughing to do that properly. I think we all were. *falls off chair in laughter*

And then the subsequent ones featured only Jeanette and Hui Juen. Hui Juen was always the "bad guy"...haha.

J: I would like tickets to see the play of Ted Tee Tee
HJ: *looks suspiciously* Are you a Jew?
J: ...no...
HJ: Can I see your ID?
J: ...no...
HJ: Get out! Scram! Shoo!

That one was funny...Jeanette sounded so lost and blur. Next one features her famous Indian accent *grinneth*

*Chinese walks past Japanese and doesn't bow*
Jap: Why you never bow?! Are you a Chinese?
Chi: No, no, I am Indian. *fake Indian accent*
Jap: You're Chinese!
Chi: Me Indian, me Indian...
Jap: You're Chinese! *stabs Chinese*

Ahh was so funny!! Wish we had taped it...then can see over and over and over againSo then during CCA I got so bored I decided to make a Flash movie about the yay bath thingie...you can click here to view it. *grins like a mad duckie*
