Compilation of stuff Yinghan, Yinqi, Cheryl and I commonly say. [also known as 4/5 of the bbs but I am ashamed of the name. *shudders*] Muaha. This shall be fun. [emmaline I'm not being mean! :P it's truuuuuue]
Yinghan
Cheryl
Yinqi
Haha. Couldn't think of anymore at the moment.
The Phoenyx soared at 01:25 p.m. *feels extremely happy with self* Because I didn't go to school today Julie Quah told the class not to hand up the practical ws, the forces assignment and the mindmap. Which I didn't do anyway, but that's not the point. Whee! And I missed a spotcheck too! :) The Phoenyx soared at 05:35 p.m. I feel please with myself. Whee. Tracked down every single song I wanted to download that I heard in one place or
another, [mostly mass dance songs and songs that were used in some concert or another] and downloaded the mp3s
on imesh! Yay me. Some I only had snatches of lyrics to go by. Heh. Useless facts you might not want to know but
never mind. songs:
tarzan and jane [shut up.THAT was since P4. *glares*]
Okay so I have a very diverse music taste. Oh! And lots of Jaci Velasquez songs. I rock. =)=)=) [that was so emmaline. eek] The Phoenyx soared at 01:23 p.m. GB was kinda tiring. We were rehearsing for GB Day on the 14th and just standing there in the hot hot sun for like an hour? And that was barely 15 minutes after we marched for around one hour. So as a result my feet ached the rest of the day. Boots with oil on top aren't really the best things to stand around in the sun with, seeing as your feet will really get fried. Pleasant thoughts, hmm? Haha. Anyway I realised that GB Day is on MONDAY when I have PE. Which means that either I get to skip PE along with yinghan (but sitting down and looking highly uncomfortable in our caps and frock-things) or, Ms Yeo will go all draconian on us and force us to run in our uniform. Fact: It is impossible to run in the GB uniform and boots. I remember last time Ms Yeo kinda scolded Yinqi for not taking PE when in her Guides uniform or something. Hmm.
The Bible Quiz after that was quite...spastic. Reached there at around 2.05 after very-brisk-walking with May Anne in the front and sat around until 3. Slept would be more accurate. I think Debbie, Audris and I were dozing away. Yes. Then went in, stared at the paper, did it and around 3.05 thought 'oh shit I'm done. What am I going to do for the next 55 minutes?' But the nice nice teacher said we could go. The questions and options were very...interesting (hah). One of the options had a open-bracket correct answer close-bracket right beside it. How lame can they get? :)
Interesting topic: my cousins from Australia have come back to Singapore for slightly less than aweek. They leave on Thursday night, I think. Hmm. More interesting fact: they are triplet guys my age. *envyenvyenvy* They are like at least 180cm tall! The shortest guy [david] is like half a head taller than I am. *schniffs* My brother and I refer to them as andrewdavidross because that's their names, but also because it kind of sounds better than davidrossandrew or rossandrewdavid or whatever. Haha. :/ They are...okay, I guess. I still cannot tell Andrew and Ross apart! Ahh. I think Andrew is the tallest one. Hmm. Their mother's my mom's sister. She nice. She brings back nice clothes as presents everytime she visits (like anually). I got a nice pair of boardshorts and matching shirt the last time and a wallet now. Yay. :)
Went to this hotel place to stay for a day and a night. A hotel in Singapore, to be specific. I think it was Plaza Parkroyal. The toilets there are nice but not as nice as the Sofitel Palm Resort in JB toilets. [ignore me] Anyway I kinda spent Sunday afternoon in the room with my mom watching some serial (nothing else on tv) while my dad and bro went to swim. I feel way too self-conscious in my costume. Urgh. And then I got a fever around the evening and went out walking to a nearby mall in a jacket. Not to mention sleeping in a sweater AND a jacket at night, which I quickly took off (the jacket, I mean). :/ Hmm. Next morning I kinda ate breakfast then slept for about two hours. Talk about piggish behaviour. *grins*
Addendum: I am home sick! Whee. A cold, cough and sore throat which is gone now and a fever last night. Nicely got an mc for today and am using the time to catch up on irs. *prods Sien* Bet you you haven't done the data collation yet have ya? :P I finished it and counted out the percentages! Yay me. Hope Julie Quah blows up when there's no one to collect the forces assignment for her and see who hasn't handed up. *smirks* The Phoenyx soared at 01:07 p.m. At comp studs now. Feeling extremely relieved that the sourface pregnant woman is still on maternity leave or whatever, especially since we have not done an atom of videoediting work. Oh, we're doing ishell. That's nice. *blink* Anyway, just came in from Geography and History. History was so INTERESTING I tell you. It was like what, her best lesson ever? Yes yes. *nods fervently* Telling us interesting stories regarding Hitler, like how girls will swoon when he looks at them and wave bouquets of flowers frantically about at his rallies. *grins* And she was going on about how "Last time, when anybody insulted your girlfriend you would go up to him and firmly say 'Sir, I don't think that was very nice'. Then you would take off your glove and whack him in his face and he wouldn't be able to stomach the insult and you would say 'Meet me at noon tomorrow at so-and-so place!' (here she starts walking backwards like those cowboy movie showdowns) And then you take out your swords (whips out an imaginary sword) and qiang qiang qiang! (flicks wrist around) But if you die at least you know who killed you..."
Interestingly enough, we forgot about the fact that the bell is never accurate, and as an result ended 20 minutes late and made Mrs Mohd very pissed. The Phoenyx soared at 10:10 a.m. Went for History drama yesterday and ended up listening to Michelle attempt not to crack up when her lines came to 'Cheer up sweet child'. :) She managed pretty well though, haha. And brought a mag which became the object that staved away boredom for quite a few people. Whee. Rioted, or tried to, and nearly cracked up when Hanxin walked by and stared at us very weirdly, but I suppose it was due to five of us shrieking out "Down with the Dutch!" and "Lousy government!" and "Free Nadra!". *grins* It's fun I guess, but we need more people. *looks pointedly at Mable, Smint, Emmaline and Huijuen who were supposed to come*
Went to Encounter lab with Sien after that and ended up totally ignoring our irs and addicting ourself to this really fun game called Mystery of Space and Time. I'm telling you, don't start unless you have a lot of time because once you start YOU CAN'T STOP. Or maybe we're just weird. Never mind. Then went for lunch at kfc and made pointed comments about some despo flirty students at the table next to us. And Sien, thanks a lot, you have successfully hooked me to the Zinger meal. Coincidentally, does anyone want to go to KFC for lunch after school today? Whee. The Phoenyx soared at 09:49 a.m. Went for worship training in the morning and had a lot of fun playing with the combined set of Kim's and mine own Zig pens. Whee. Sally was wearing her Sheldon t-shirt! I must get a matching one soon as I get next week's allowance. I'm more or less broke now, after watching Charlie's Angels and eating at Pizza Hut with darling Yinghan. *grins* The first five minutes or so of Charlie's Angels was so unbearably bimbotic it was scary. Cameron Diaz was bouncing around on this horse-thing and shrieking crazily with two weird ponytails and an absolutely girly outfit. (Quote: "This is hostel, yah?" Doesn't that sound suspiciously Singlish? heh.)But I didn't get a lot of stuff, especially with the Thin Man and whatnot. Cameron Diaz looks kind of digital. Her face has this weirdish shape. Demi Moore looks old, but I bet that if she was younger she would have looked quite good. Lucy Liu's accent is weiiiird but she looks good. There was so much ass-kicking it got boring after a while. Ah well. If you are in a mood for some mindless movie go watch Charlie's Angels with a friend. Not alone, mind you. :P
Ah yes, Yinghan. Here it is. Page 13 of Life. *grins* Guess who reviewed? Our own dear Tan Mingwei. X_X I nearly died of shock reading it. Yinghan was bouncing(I imagine) over msn trying to get me to read Life and when I did I commented on the purdy phoenix picture. I think she freaked out there. Hmm. Finally she concluded that I must be too dense to notice Mingwei as a reviewer and told me that she was there. My actions after that are as follows: *thinks 'really? where?, scans through again, notices the name but doesn't think the person looks like Mingwei. Realises that the picture IS Mingwei, shrieks and begins typing over the conversation box to Yinghan*
Heh. Mingwei sounds so Mingwei. I wonder how Life got her to review it? Hmm. Shall have many questions to ask her on Wednesday. *grins* The Phoenyx soared at 10:43 p.m. |
