Haha today the Brigadiers had Flag Day and got to skip crappy Science makeup lessons! Flag Day was really fun...we got to traipse up and down Orchard asking for donations from weirdo people. Looks are really deceiving man...ang moh people are the best people to ask for donations, especially those with children or just ang moh men. And tourists. They have no change so they donate 10 dollar notes! Tee hee. But my feet hurted like siao after that. Went home and got this chair and sat and typed and soaked my feet in warm water. Ah bliss.

Today was a silver lining in the endless mist of grey clouds known as school. It's been a lousy week, it has. I broke down crying twice yesterday over a Maths worksheet (hey, not the first time) and wrote my feelings down in a notebook. When I read it again today I was struck by how raw my emotions were. Ah.

But cell was fun. ^^ Michelle and Lina came, Michelle after goodness-knows-how many weeks of invitations *grins* Other than them Kim, Denise and Wing Yee came. Quite a small number, sadly. Nat had some auto competition I think. Anyway, for icebreakers we had to describe each other...and Kim ended up getting yeti-like and gu niang. Tania almost got g-stringy. I got snot-liking. Hehe.

But the best part was worship [thanks Kim for the great worship]. I think the last song really spoke to me. There were two particular lines going "And I will open up my heart / and let the healer set me free". Know why? I wrote "set me free" word for word in that notebook and the phrase just jumped out at me today. I think I'm feeling much better now. Weekend's finally here.
