I actually forced myself to wake up early this morning; trying to break the chain habit that had formed for the past week since I'd been staying back in the office overtime will weird hours in the morning. Let's hope it keeps up; and it feels somewhat good to be the third person in the office again for once instead of the dead last *coughs*

Anyway, an annoying twerp was making faces at me from the passenger's seat on a lorry next to my car on the highway this morning on my way to work. So dumbass thinks it's actually funny to make kissy-gesture at random people on the street? Ah well, his expression when I gave him the middle finger is almost worth it though, the sad specimen of manhood.

Various things happened through the blur that was last week when I was rushing for my short deadline was pretty impressive. The various after-midnight random weird talks and uncontrolled giggles with my colleagues who were just as stressed over the deadline as me. But let's not get through the nightmare again, all I can say is that as of yesterday. My deadline for this month is FINISHED! HABIS! OWATTA!

Since I'm a self-declared free person as of yesterday; I spent the entire time looking stoned in front of the Mac yesterday on account that I *still* didn't get enough sleep. Was forced to move my place in the office to another position because two other person were hired and they will be coming in starting next month. I'd been bitching about moving since I first heard the news because there were just too many junks residing on my table. Oh well, it turns out to be good because I actually have more space and an empty cabinet for me to stuff most of the aforementioned junks on my table. And I'd got a brand new table/workspace and a chair WAHAHA ( and I don't have to carry all my heavy stuff since people generally helped out XD - e.g. my boss; my fellow designer, my writer and random colleague #1 <-- who was forced to anyway and tried to wrestle my Spiderman poster away from me >D

All is good for the day when boss announced that we'll be going for a crab dinner together after work YAY >:D I adore seafood of any kind and thank goodness I don't have allergy to it unlike my brother. The dinner was an overkill but I *really* misses having a good dinner here away from home ^^v

Oh! And Corpse Bride WAS SO VERY GOOD! The characters' expression and stop-motion animation was absolutely amazing. Everytime I stop to remind myself that the movie IS NOT 3-D I feel like breaking down and worship Tim Burton for how smooth everything flows in the movie. Sure, the story wasn't entirely bombastic but he once again created very defined personality for his characters you really feel for them ( even though they're just puppets haha but I DO love Jack Skelington from Nightmare Before Christmas and he isn't even human ) XD There was this feeling of magic watching the entire movie that brings smile to my face. I felt that I'm absorbing the movie in an entirely childish delights - as if I was once again a small kid who thinks the silver screen was real and completely magical.

PS : And I'm gonna spam this just because I know someone out there gets really annoyed and generally weirded out when I say I do think His-Royal-Hydeness is absolutely charming and gorgeous >D

Had a totally weird jumbled-up dream this morning where it's deeply influenced by Bleach and ... Daita? ( I shall blame the Daita part on Masa-kun XD )

I think it's due to the fact that I was reading Bleach manga around Vol 9-10 where Ichigo and co. were trying to master how to control their reiatsu to get into the city XD;;; I clearly remembered me watching Ichigo stumbling in his practices and Chad *had* to stand in front of the Ishida, Inoue and me to shield us from the stray energy discharge from Ichigo XD XDDDD WTF

And I remembered seeing Yorouchi-dono drinking tea in the living room when I went in the house nearby to use the bathroom after that XD

Somehow the dream managed to change from anime-ish setting to one that I am staying in this glamourous looking apartment with Onion ( well, we ARE staying in an apartment together now, but it's far from glamourous. The description of how it looks might actually scare the Onion though hahaha ). In my dream, there's always the sound of someone playing the guitar coming from the apartment next door. I found out by pure accident when I was going about trying to get broadband services to my apartment that our next door neighbor is DAITA XD XDD

It had been a good 5 years(?) since Mayday held a concert here in the country! <3 ( The street concert earlier this year that I went to doesn't really count since they performed only 3 songs ( but THREE wonderful song that is ) *breathes*

Anyway, it had been a rather hectic weekend. Went back to my hometown on Saturday afternoon and came back here yesterday night >_> Oh well, but I was glad I made it to Chloe's birthday bash late Friday night. We were at the karaoke in The Curve because Chloe is simply someone deeply in love with singing ( and she can sing well to boot! =D ) My past few karaoke experiences were always with this bunch of friends I came to know and missed so much from the previous place I worked with.

But when it comes to karaoke, as much as I enjoy the crowd I'm hanging out with there, I will always be the one who sits in this one corner and hope no one will notice me and yet cheered loudly after each songs sung by others. Reason is :

I simply do NOT know how to sing those barrage of Chinese songs AND English songs offered there. I am a Chinese and can only read limited number of Chinese characters and doesn't hold much interest in the Chinese entertainment world ( except for a rare few gems that is XD;; ) Same formula applied for the English entertainment counterpart XD;;; *coughs*

me : ...but I don't like them >_> *and it's an understatement*

me : But I can't stand her uber cuteness ? *made a face*

And yeap, that was basically how is it usually with me at the karaoke with them XD I can't stand most of the Chinese songs and don't know the music for English songs good enough for me to attempt them. LE' PATHETIC XD XDDD

When I ended up playing with the song selectors since everyone had their favorite songs lined up! I found myself browsing through the Japanese songs title there and I found... *drum rolls*

OMG there were a treasure THROVE of older Japanese music there on the list and I'd never noticed! There were tonnes of GLAY, L'Arc, B'z, X-Japan, LunaSea and even PIERROT !! XD XDD I was just grinning like a maniac I was browsing through all the songs there <3 <333

The sucky part was that both Dive to Blue and Driver's High have those weirdass karaoke video instead of the actual PV >_> I was too distracted by how fugly they look I totally gave up on trying to sing the song XD XDD

But flower!! I was so freaking out my friends at 3 in the morning when I went "Squeeeee~!!!" when I saw flower song started in a blue colored wall! And the CAGE!! XD It's the ACTUAL PV and I was so happy I shamelessly sung along with the song the entire way XD XDDD

Pssst .. I caught HYDE's COUNTDOWN performance on Popjam on TV as well during the weekend <3 I am a happy person XD

This is a completely random post. I had another long angry rant typed out yesterday but decided against posting it. I was pissed by an idiot yesterday. And an idiot shouldn't have it's own singular post dedicated on their dumbass-ness on my happy world >_> So said boke is still pissing me off even now; but I'd taken up a general bitchy!aya stance against that to keep me masochist-ly amused. OH YEY

Oh well, it's a Friday and I found myself totally exhausted up all my Bleach anime episodes pilfered from my brother yesterday. Me, begging for more from my loving brother had this conversation with him yesterday :

Once I get past to understand their names in Chinese that is >_> Reading foreign name in Chinese is far bitchier than katakana can ever be. That's the reason why I didn't bother buying Angel Sanctuary in Chinese as much as I love the story. I mean, I can read Japanese names in Chinese all fine, it's just when it comes to western name; MY BRAIN BREAKS DX

The only name I can read so far is Tres' XD;;; And that's because it's so short and is written in the few Chinese character I can understand XD;; It took some googling to find out the name of my favorite vampire-priest name XD;;; Ahh he's so adorable and I liked him on the spot already XDDDD Ah reins-ba~ err .. I have two volumes of it so far and will be hounding those people in Kino for more *is still kicking myself for now getting Vol. 3 the other day* T__T What's Zone-00 about ? =D

I over-slept gloriously this morning due to this weird dream that goes on and on despite me semi-waking up to put the alarm on snooze. The moment I actually notice the time on the alarm clock; it was 9:42a.m. yay >_>;; and I usually need about an hour from the time I wake up to reach the office. And what time do I have to be in for work ? Officially, it's 9.00a.m. ( but no one really bothers with it anyway :P The earliest anyone will come in the office is at 9.30a.m. )

PS : Wishlist layout updated finally XD;; Well, it's just a crappy 10 minute effort I whipped around 1.30a.m. in the morning after my Bleach marathon XD ( but yeah, it WAS something that I promised to change every month, or something but I seem to have totally forgotten about it XD; ) The layout bug bites finally, so is it time for another new blog-layout ? I hope =_=

I was on a crazy manga buying spree last Saturday when Hanie and Eisu dropped me off alone in KLCC. Kinokuniyaaaaaaa ~~~ here I come ~~~~ <3 I missed you like mad <33 <333 Collected my CD DATA from the Japanese Kinokuniya ( and discovered THREE LOVELY PAGE OF HYDE INSIDE *breaths* ) . Went browsing the artbook sections as usual; but saw nothing that will make me abuse the plastic card anytime soon ( unless of course, if I spotted Miwa Shirow's CRAZY DOGS SHOW there. THAT is so shamelessly going into my birthday wish-list *points WISHLIST link above; see? I AM SHAMELESS MWEHEHE* this year.

Spent a longer time at the big-Kino upstairs actually ( because you know, they actually have books that I can understand XD;; ) and there was when my manga bug bit me. BIG TIME.

I believed it's all because of you I'm now officially hounding the Kinokuniya staff more more Trinity Blood volumes in Chinese waaa! Everything and everyone is just so ... pretty XD And I'm dead suckered by vampire fictions to begin with *coughs* I was browsing the entire shelves of manga there and I spotted the much familiar and much publicized series by HerManga-Spazness reins-baba XD Cover art pwned me the moment I saw it Y__Y

Another good find was D Grayman. It is really interesting and I was totally captivated by the front cover art of the later volumes. I need more D Grayman ugh >_< Got a few more random shoujou stuff because I was bored and need some random new works; but they were just so-so. But yes let me say it again; I need more Trinity Blood and D Grayman since I have on idea when the next volume of King of Bandit Jing is gonna be out T____T

I did managed to get to MidValley eventually though. I *did* spent money on shopping for clothes *coughs* but I'm still overall happy with my hauls from Kinokuniya ( hyde double spread wheee XD;; Trinity Blood + D Grayman double wheeee~ ) <-- I should stop that; I'm sounding really spastic already.

PS : Finally finished watching the entire first season of LOST. And all I can say is that; it's not good to have LOST marathon non-stop. I swear all my weird dreams for the past few nights are extremely LOST inspired. ( but if it's LOST inspired where the hell is Jack in it damnit! )

Random bits from work this week

My long lunch break without my colleagues is now known as aya's jrock lunch romp where everyone speculate which jrocker I'm stalking during the one hour plus time I'm gone from their company.

I'm starting to hear BUMP OF CHICKEN's music being played elsewhere in the office apart from my own Mac; which is a wonderful sign that good music is being appreciated by people who'd thought that their band name is pretty stupid XD;;;

And voila! I went into the test lab the other day and heard L'Arc~en~Ciel's EXISTENCE being played loud <3 <333 You know you'd somehow left a mark in upon the people around you when the people you work with is starting to play songs from your playlist (which that they most probably will always refer to as Japanese gibberish).

Yes, it's a Saturday and I'm still stuck here. My urge to go shopping in MidValley and to go KLCC for Kinokuniya is growing stronger than ever. I might just take a day off after this horrific two weeks of non stop working to do just that; once this issue of the magazine is done and over with Y__Y

On a more fangirly note; hyde *finally* released a rock version of EVERGREEN !! <3 <333 ( It's the B-side track from his latest single: COUNTDOWN <-- I think he's obsessed with the capslock key ) This particular version of evergreen had been my crack when I'm suffering from hyde-withdrawal-syndrome or plain j-rock-withdrawal-syndrome since I caught HYDE's 666 Live in Budohkan on NHK some time ago. It has such a raw and edgy feel as compared to the ROENTGEN version of the same song I just HAD to *squeee* like a mad fangirl I am listening to it.

It had been less than a month since I was at Korea attending their ASIALIVE but it felt like *ages* since all that happened ;___;
